"description": "A few days ago, I had this urge to draw something using the symmetry function in the drawing I use, Procreate. When I grabbed my iPad, however, I didn't know what I wanted to draw using that function. I then recalled that I have been wanting to draw a bat for quite some time now. I opened up my Reference Images folder in which I have a bunch of pictures of things, creatures, and characters that I want to use or draw in some artistic setting, and looked through my bat references.\n\nThe result may or may not actually be a subspecies of bat as I kind of mixed and matched various bat features that I wanted to try and draw, some features might be more discerning than others when trying to tell the bat's species, such as the sheathed tail, the ear with a broad tragus, the spear nose, and even the genitalia. In the end, this bat still somehow ended up being more anthro than I had initially intended, but I suppose he still turned out okay for being a spur-of-the-moment drawing.\n\nThe background was a last-minute addition. I didn't want him floating in a white void, and then I thought it would be weird to just have him floating in the indiscernible sky.
