Her comebacks and remarks went from snippy and harsh to flirty and more lighthearted, and eventually they began a relationship.\n\n On a foggy night, in the woods near the town, Maya and her owner were on the heels of a faceless serial murderer. The fresh smell of his last victim was burning Maya’s nostrils as they drew closer and closer to him. With a sickening snap, the owner’s ankle was skewered in a hidden illegal bear trap. Maya tried to the best of her abilities to release, lookout, and comfort her owner. Out of the darkness, the murderer drew his dull revolver and took aim. Maya tried her best to fend him off, but the murderer had the upper hand. His first bullet went through Maya’s chest, with a second round in her owner. The murderer escaped the scene to never be found. Maya and her owner were found in a loose embrace the next day, both gone from injuries.
