"description": "You are Dave Grell, a rather average 20-year-old. You have been working for The Reserve for a few years now, though you were specifically working in a branch separate from the main one. As much as you wanted to work for the main branch, your boss has denied your transfer request every time. You never did get along with them. Not that it matters that much anyway. One day, you were tasked with interacting with some new creature they found. The Reserve seem to have a knack for finding odd lifeforms and such. You had asked for details, and they gave you very few, other than the fact that it’s deep blue in color and some sort of slime-based lifeform.\n\nWith them seeming to withhold information, you enter the containment cell they locked this lifeform in. Immediately after you were in, you heard the door seal behind you. You must wonder just how afraid they could possibly be of something this much when they were the ones who captured it in the first place. Looking around the room, you don’t see much, just a table with some sort of container on it. Going over to inspect it, it looks like a standard mason jar, and you can see the life form in question trapped inside it.\n\nIt appears to be a deep blue blob of slime, with little protrusions on each side acting as arms. It had two lavender dots, what you assume to be its eyes with smaller, brighter dots as its pupils. It seemed to be rather scared and confused since it was moving around a lot. Part of you feels bad for him, being trapped in a jar like this. Before you could think of anything else however, an explosion was heard and felt throughout the entire facility, followed by alarms blaring. You could hear over the intercom that some rival organization has attacked them. Something in your gut tells you to take the jar out of the facility with you and keep it safe, so you pick up the jar and stuff it into one of your jacket pockets.\n\nAfter managing to get out safely and on your way home, you imagine the creature could be quite hungry. So, you stop by a gas station and pick up several packs of beef jerky, along with a few bags of chips, and some chocolate. You would eventually arrive home, taking the food in with you and deciding to watch a movie while you eat some left-over pizza. Halfway through the movie, you can hear what sounds like light tapping on glass. Remembering the jar and the creature, you pull the jar out of your jacket and hold it up to a light.\n\nYou see the creature looking at you, what looks like a saddened expression on his face. Deciding to take a risk, you get some jerky out of one of the packs and carefully open the jar, dropping a piece in and watching the creature inspecting it. He eventually covers the piece and presumably eats it, as the piece is gone when it moves back. You end up just dumping the whole bag of jerky in there and watch in awe as it devours it all in one fell swoop.\n\nYou also notice that it seems to have gotten bigger, and before you can do anything about it, you see the creature move out of the jar and onto your lap. You should probably be screaming right now, but you feel strangely calm. Perhaps it’s keeping you calm. Whatever the reason may be, you grab another pack of jerky and open it up, giving the gooey blob some. You watch as it covers the hand holding the jerky for a moment, before moving off, leaving your hand empty.\n\n“Quite the hungry fellow, aren’t you?” You say, unsure if the creature can understand you.\n\nYou decide to order a couple large pizzas, just in case it tries to eat everything in the house… or even the house itself. You would end up feeding all the jerky you had bought to it. You notice that it’s gotten way bigger, and before you can think of anything else, it moves off your lap and you watch as it begins to take on a form of some sort. When it finished morphing, looking back at you was a teal-colored creature, with thin dark blue stripes, and cobalt blue hair, part of which was covering one eye. Parts of their body had spikes on them, like the shoulders, and their hips, dark turquoise in color. You also noticed it seemed to be a male, if what was between its legs was to be any indicator.\n\nLooking back up, you saw he had a hyena-like face and ears, his inner ear seeming to be the same color as his stripes. He stood about 4 feet, perhaps he was a child. You weren’t sure really. All you know is he’s looking at you, curiously perhaps. You reach out a hand to see what would happen, watching as he mimics the motion, the tips of your fingers touching briefly before pulling back swiftly and running off suddenly before you can process everything.\n\nYou want to chase after him, but it’s getting late, and you doubt he will escape since you have plenty of food. You then hear the doorbell ring, remembering you ordered pizza earlier. Bringing it inside and having a few slices. You turn around, facing the fridge as you feel he might come up and eat the entire thing. Sure enough, you see a dark blue blob moving towards the pizza before quickly engulfing and eating it. Currently, you’re unsure of how you are supposed to feed him, when he’s eating this much this quickly, but that’s a bridge you’ll cross later. You head to your room aware that he is following you, before laying down on your bed. Hoping he may at least understand you a little bit, you talk out loud.\n\n“I have no intention of hurting you. In fact, I find you rather interesting.”\n\nYou close your eyes, waiting for something to happen, but nothing comes. No pain whatsoever. As you open your eyes, you see him standing at your bedside, looking at you. You end up reaching a hand up and while looking away, placing it on his chest. Looking back, you see him just staring at you, possibly confused. But as you try to pull away, you see what looks completely black in this room crawling up your arm and slowly covering your body. Sitting back down, he offered a slice to him. He would look at the slice in question first, before some of his goo would cover the plate and eat the slice. Dave and Ghost would look at each other, wondering what the other was thinking. Before Ghost could do anything, he felt his human savior pull him against himself. Dave wasn’t sure how ghost would react but was surprised when he felt him return the hug, albeit a little awkwardly, but he didn’t blame him or try to correct him.\n\nThe two of them would hug each other for a while, having forgotten about whatever show they were watching. After a while, the two of them would fall asleep from being so comfortable in each other’s arms. When they woke up, Dave would be a little confused, before remembering what happened last night. Ghost on the other hand, couldn’t understand why what they did felt so nice, but wanted more of it. He would move himself on top of Dave, catching him off guard, and partly melting onto him. Dave meanwhile was worried, but then relaxed as he realized he was possibly trying to give him affection. He would softly rub the back of the creature’s head, which he seemed to like. You have been working for The Reserve for a few years now, though you were specifically working in a branch separate from the main one. As much as you wanted to work for the main branch, your boss has denied your transfer request every time. You never did get along with them. Not that it matters that much anyway. One day, you were tasked with interacting with some new creature they found. The Reserve seem to have a knack for finding odd lifeforms and such. You had asked for details, and they gave you very few, other than the fact that it’s deep blue in color and some sort of slime-based lifeform.
With them seeming to withhold information, you enter the containment cell they locked this lifeform in. Immediately after you were in, you heard the door seal behind you. You must wonder just how afraid they could possibly be of something this much when they were the ones who captured it in the first place. Looking around the room, you don’t see much, just a table with some sort of container on it. Going over to inspect it, it looks like a standard mason jar, and you can see the life form in question trapped inside it.
It appears to be a deep blue blob of slime, with little protrusions on each side acting as arms. It had two lavender dots, what you assume to be its eyes with smaller, brighter dots as its pupils. It seemed to be rather scared and confused since it was moving around a lot. Part of you feels bad for him, being trapped in a jar like this. Before you could think of anything else however, an explosion was heard and felt throughout the entire facility, followed by alarms blaring. You could hear over the intercom that some rival organization has attacked them. Something in your gut tells you to take the jar out of the facility with you and keep it safe, so you pick up the jar and stuff it into one of your jacket pockets.
After managing to get out safely and on your way home, you imagine the creature could be quite hungry. So, you stop by a gas station and pick up several packs of beef jerky, along with a few bags of chips, and some chocolate. You would eventually arrive home, taking the food in with you and deciding to watch a movie while you eat some left-over pizza. Halfway through the movie, you can hear what sounds like light tapping on glass. Remembering the jar and the creature, you pull the jar out of your jacket and hold it up to a light.
You see the creature looking at you, what looks like a saddened expression on his face. Deciding to take a risk, you get some jerky out of one of the packs and carefully open the jar, dropping a piece in and watching the creature inspecting it. He eventually covers the piece and presumably eats it, as the piece is gone when it moves back. You end up just dumping the whole bag of jerky in there and watch in awe as it devours it all in one fell swoop.
You also notice that it seems to have gotten bigger, and before you can do anything about it, you see the creature move out of the jar and onto your lap. You should probably be screaming right now, but you feel strangely calm. Perhaps it’s keeping you calm. Whatever the reason may be, you grab another pack of jerky and open it up, giving the gooey blob some. You watch as it covers the hand holding the jerky for a moment, before moving off, leaving your hand empty.
