While the chipper tunes of acoustics commence, the commercial opens to a wide shot of an occupied park. Playful laughter follows suit as children enjoy its awesome array of attractions, from the rhythmic rides of seesaws to the sky-high thrills of swings, supplying the setting with a lively and vibrant vibe. Elegantly equalizing the energetic environment are the more passive pleasures around the playground’s perimeter, be they parents sitting on the soft grass while their kids keep playing, or little ones leisurely lounging in their strollers while their caretakers cruise along the asphalt trails. Amidst such activities are sunny and cloudless skies complemented by a cool and gentle breeze, perfect weather for all kinds of outdoor adventures. All of these additions bring about a beautiful afternoon, but with a certain someone showing up, there’s even more beauty to behold. The shot then puts the spotlight on today’s star of the show, a shiny Sylveon with quite the forte in fashion. Adorning his head are two dark purple bows, because our padded protagonist picks only the prettiest things to pair with his bright blue ears. Adding to his adorable attire is a pink t-shirt with a purple butterfly at its center, for this fashionable Fairy-type knows they’re the most beautiful of bugs, the most stellar set piece for any kind of cute clothing. Of course, that’s not all the tot’s touting on his top half, as a light lavender skirt further complements his cutesy clothes; notions of gender norms be damned, because nothing’s stopping this boy from being his bedazzling self! Concluding the child’s stunning selection is a pair of pink velcro shoes with sunflower designs, finishing things off with a flowery flourish. The only plain piece of attire is his disposable diaper, but with so much cuteness to spare, it’s not like he’s gonna care! “If this boy’s anything to go by, those Fairy-types pride themselves on being pretty!” says a disembodied narrator. To the kid who’s acutely aware of his pretty appearance, the park is his personal runway, and you bet this baby ain’t afraid to strut his stuff! Approaching the playground with captivating confidence while gently holding his mother Gardevoir’s hand, the camera soon cuts to several others unsurprisingly starstruck by such a sight. The shot first shifts to a stroller-bound Celebi sporting a grass green dress and flower-patterned padding, swelled to see such a dashing display as she smiles and waves at the Sylveon; flashing an adorable smile, the boy waves right back at the Grass-type girl, a friendly gesture further adding to the Fairy-type’s charm. The second shot then shows two Eevee boys suddenly stopping the seesaw to stare, for the tots whose fashion taste is solely t-shirts and diapers are equally as transfixed; knowing there’s still beauty to be found in the basics, the stylish Sylveon waves at them as well, prompting the Normal-type children to wear wide smiles at such validation. The big kids are also one to admit the boy’s a beacon of beauty, that he sure knows how to dress for someone still in diapers. Such is shown by the awestruck face of an Emolga with blue bows and overalls, the Electric-type elementary schooler putting her sand castle on pause as she’s drawn by his appealing aura; perhaps to flatter the young lady, the Sylveon giggles and playfully winks at her, and even the flying squirrel is surprised to find herself blushing at this affectionate action. “But, you know what’s not so pretty?” the narrator then asks. BRAAAAAAAAAAAP!!! Right on cue, the toddler suddenly stops in his tracks and lets out an unflatteringly loud fart, the background acoustics abruptly stopping as if to acknowledge the awkwardness of such a shift. Realizing he’s really gotta go, for even the cutest kids don’t deny their diaper dependence, the Sylveon promptly pops a squat and scrunches his face. “Mmmmph…mmmmmph….” PFFFFFFT! BRAAAAAAAAP!! BLOOOOOORT!!! His modeling debut now more of a diaper messing display, his audience now met with a much smellier spectacle, the camera puts all its focus on the kid’s crinkly garment as it swiftly starts to sag, the fashionista having quite a lot to unload while more foul sounds follow. The Sylveon sighs in relief shortly afterwards, but while he’s glad to have pushed out all of that pressure, he knows that dirty deed won’t be doing him any more favors as his lumpy diaper slumps down to his knees. “The scent of dirty diapers.” the narrator then answers. “Sure, regular diapers contain all the messes kids make in them, but when it comes to the smell, that’s sadly a different story.” Accentuating the awful stench, a big stink line begins trailing from the back of his profusely packed pampers, its dirty dark brown color sharply contrasting from the pretty pinks and purples of his clothes. As if the commercial just can’t resist stressing that the Sylveon made a stinky, a dark brown aura starts surrounding him as well, and with the park now bearing the far less beautiful aroma of full diapers, the other Pokémon’s once positive reactions become a lot more mixed. The cutely dressed Celebi goes from smiles to shock in seconds, and while not minding the smell, the Grass-type girl admits that going from appreciating his apparel to getting a front row seat of the Fairy-type pooping his pants is quite a “what the fudge?” moment of whiplash. The pair of padded Eevees can’t contain themselves as they let out lots of laughter, now far more focused on the potty humor of him taking a dump in his diaper than anything about his pretty appearance. The Emolga who couldn’t take her eyes off him now refuses to give him a glance as a repulsed expression appears on her face, embarrassed to believe that, even for a few moments, she was wooed by a kid who can’t use the potty. “And for Fairy-type children, that just isn’t gonna fly…” adds the narrator as the camera focuses on the Sylveon’s grumpy face, clearly bothered by everyone paying more attention to his poopy pampers than his cutesy clothes. “But, are there really diapers that’ll suit such stylish little fellas?” It doesn’t seem to be the case as mother and son make their way to the restroom, the stink line still following the Fairy-type while his liberally loaded diaper sluggishly sways between his legs, its weight forcing him into an ungraceful waddle. But, unbeknownst to both of them, they’re in for quite a special surprise. “Fortunately, there is!” the narrator says as the Gardevoir picks up the Sylveon and lays him on the changing station. Once the parent unzips the diaper bag, she’s suddenly met by a pink shower of light as the chipper acoustics make a comeback alongside an upbeat melody of piano keys. Standing out from the changing supplies, popping out from the plain white disposables is a pink diaper with red tapes and ruffles, and while she doesn’t recall packing the padding in question, she certainly won’t complain knowing it’ll make her kid happy. “Introducing Pixie Pants! The ideal diaper for your Fairy-type!” says the narrator as the Gardevoir takes out the new diaper alongside the rest of the supplies, a smile immediately showing on the Sylveon’s face. After swiftly giving her son a change, she picks the boy back up and gives him a kiss on the cheek before setting him down. Far happier with this much prettier padding, the Sylveon happily shakes his newly diapered tush, proud to flaunt this more colorful crinkly garment. “They’ve got more striking colors than regular diapers, that’s for sure!” says the narrator. “But, you’re probably thinking they can be even prettier right? After all, isn’t it strange these diapers don’t have any designs? Well…” With a pink puff of smoke, a set of stickers suddenly appear in the Sylveon’s hand, causing his eyes to sparkle with wonder “…it’s because your kid’s gonna do the designing! That’s right! Every pack of Pixie Pants comes with several hundred stickers, so there’s never a day when they don’t look bedazzling in these diapers!” The Sylveon then puts an assortment of colored hearts on his diaper, loving the rainbow-like design that no plain padding can rival, appreciating how it suits his penchant for prettiness. “Oh, and don’t think pink is all we got, cause we know beauty comes in all colors!” says the narrator. “With every single color to choose from, with so many stickers for all kinds of styles, these diapers suit any kind of clothing!” In identical fashion to its introduction, the commercial’s next key scene sets up another beautiful afternoon at the park. Perhaps getting the idea from his previous pair of shoes, the Sylveon now sports an outfit that fully embraces the theme of flower power, a getup that perfectly suits this splendid sunny day. On his ears are sunflower shaped bows with little green leaves on the ends, because this cutie pie picks only the brightest and most beautiful plants to center his outfit around, only the accessories with the most eye-catching colors. Keeping the warm colors going is an orange skirt alongside a yellow t-shirt with an orange smiling sun, a combination that provides both prettiness and positive vibes. Further supplementing the Sylveon’s sunny apparel are yellow velcro shoes with suns on each side, only the most fabulous footwear for fun in the sun. Finally, bringing it all together in a way plain pampers could never pull off, picked out by none other than the fashionable Fairy-type is a bright orange diaper with yellow ruffles and small white flowers for its central pattern, the cutest way for the tot to show he’s yet to be potty trained. “See what I mean? Pixie Pants assure your kid’s always got style to spare!” says the narrator. As the diaper-clad kid approaches the playground with greater confidence, the camera then cuts to the same Pokémon from before, their reactions prominently more positive. Amazed to see an even more striking outfit, the stroller-bound Celebi widely smiles while her eyes brighten with joy, not only blown away the array of warm colors in this arrangement, but also appreciating how his attire pays homage to the plants she loves so very much; had the Grass-type girl not known any better, she’d have thought the boy had dressed this way precisely to please her, a touching thought at the very least. The boisterous Eevee boys once again stop their seesaw ride to stare, all the more awestruck by this stellar sight; seeing the Sylveon’s clothes bring about such an inspiring radiance, an appearance that demands all attention, the simply clothed kids now consider going beyond single colored shirts and plain white pampers, now desiring to emulate their evolved counterpart. Even the older Emolga in the sandbox, the one who thought she’d never again associate with the Sylveon who makes stinkies in his pants, can’t help but eye him, for she has to concede that the boy has never been more bedazzling; amazed that someone who still fills their diapers can be such a fashionista, amazed that a kid who’s not even in preschool can have such confidence and charm, the Electric-type now realizes that spending time with toddlers isn’t such a pointless pursuit after all. “Oh, and I’ve saved the best part for last!” says the narrator. BRAAAAAAAAAAAP!!! Just like before, the Sylveon loudly lets it rip as he suddenly notices a familiar feeling in his bowels, but now the cheerful music persists, suggesting a positive spin on what’s about to be a poopy diaper. Promptly addressing the pressure and popping a squat, only time will tell as the toddler starts to push. “Mmmmph….mmmmmph…” PFFFFFFT! BRAAAAAAAAP!! BLOOOOOORT!!! The Fairy-type fills his flowery diaper with a large mess, his pretty padding slumping to his knees as several solids settle. “Phew….” Once the deed is done, the Sylveon sighs in relief and smiles, for his full diaper is no longer a reason to frown. Rather than the brown stink line from before, instead a yellow and sparkly trail appears from the back of his packed pampers, all while not a single spectator stops smiling. “That’s right, they smell BETTER when they’re used! Full diapers won’t stop your fashionable Fairy-type any longer!” says the narrator. So confident they’ve already sold their audience, they don’t bother explaining how that’s even possible. As the shot follows the Sylveon strutting along the asphalt, somehow showing even more swagger in his saggy diaper, the narrator makes one final statement. “Pixie Pants. Only the most fabulous for your Fairy-type!” As the slogan surrounds the screen in a pink and sparkly font, the Sylveon stops and turns towards the audience before giving them a wink, closing the commercial on another note of confidence.
