The couple waved at the leaving pokemon. They would watch him make a left turn and seemingly disappear into another street.
Kol would wait for a few more seconds before turning back to his mate with a wry smile. “Dang, our usual morning got interrupted huh? What are we gonna do about Icy?”
Zen merely smirked back. “Heh! Well I think we should focus on one thing at a time!” He would turn around and bounded back to their hallway closet. “Lets get Icy’s training done!”
Kol smiled softly at the Zoroark’s shout. He would quietly shake his head while walking over to him.
Meanwhile, Zen was busying himself looking through the box of trinkets. His eyes passed his mate’s old chastity belts, spreader bars, and cages before settling on one particularly shiny object at the bottom of the box. Kol could only shake his head. “I-I DON’T KNOW! I-I’LL GET IT OUT! HOLD STILL!” He could feel his vision cloud itself. If it wasn’t for Zen turning frantically in the direction of their door, the Lycanroc wouldn’t have noticed the two’s Pet warily staring at them.
“A-Are Masters okay?” Icy looked between them with worry and fear.
Zen merely grimaced in pain. Kol would glare directly at the Weavile. “Go BACK on the bed and wait! It’s handled!”

Zen would frown at his mate. He could hear the Lycanroc’s familiar frantic breathing. “K-Kol-”

The Lycanroc remained focused on the almost freed blade. “Why? Why did you let it happen again? Again… Why again?”
The Zoroark would shake his head in despair as he watched his mate discard the blade and reach for another part of the closet. There, bandages he was all to familiar with sat. “K-Kol, the wound isn’t dee- ”
“QUIET!” The Lycanroc barked through his flowing tears. “P-Please…”
Zen just sighed and gave up. He let himself go limp as he felt Kol deftly wrap his arm into a near perfect cast. Once finished, he then felt himself be lifted gently by the Lycanroc. “You… You don’t need to…”
Kol didn’t hear him. He couldn’t hear anything. What was the point? Nothing! Nothing else mattered! His husband was bleeding! Nothing else mattered. He would walk his mate into their room and rest him on the bed.

“GAAAHHH!” The Zorua lurched back in shock as a large figure jumped out of nowhere and pinned him to the soft ground. He struggled against the firm paw as a smug tone echoed from above him.
“Heh! Calling someone almost twice your size a ‘dork’ is a pretty gutsy move Foxy.”
The Zorua blushed while frowning at the Rockruff above him. “Hmph! Y-You said meet here early Wolfy!”
The Rockruff kept his smug smile. “I did~ You’re the late one!”
“Late!? I came here immediately after Polis’s lecture!” The Zorua tried nipping at the dog’s paw. “Unhf~! Let me up already! You got your big scare in!”
The Rockruff tilted his head and smiled wider.
The fox stopped his biting and narrowed his eyes. “…What?”

The dog pokemon frowned at the smile his boyfriend was giving him. “W-What happened to you!?”
“Uuh… Corruption?” Zen would finish with a shrug.
Kol narrowed his eyes.
Zen frowned at his face. “I-I mean it Kol!” He would glance around his wounds before looking back at Kol. “Ever since the ceremony… I-I’ve found myself getting injured much more… A-And more things hurt…”
The Rockruff’s eyes would widen. “T-That’s… That’s the exact opposite for me… I was helping my mom cook this morning and got some hot water on my cheek.”
Zen’s expression turned worried at the noticeable patch of discolored fur on the dog pokemon’s cheek. He warily raised his paw to it. “Does it… hurt?”
Kol rolled his eyes. “What do you think I mean when I said “opposite” Foxy?”
“O-Oh, right…” Zen looked away guiltily.
Kol softened his face. “Hey, it’s alright Foxy. And no, it didn’t hurt at all. My mom was a bit worried at the burn mark but I just felt something warm on my face.” He would nuzzle the Zorua’s head. “I’m thankful you’re just as worried about me~…”

Almost instantly, the door to the office opened. A tall, lanky Inteleon slinked out of the door with an older Politoed behind him. He would open the door more and let the pokemon step through.
“Alright Aston you’re still good and healthy. I would keep your umbrella still though…”
The Politoed would nod slowly before turning away and leaving.
The doctor would then sigh before turning to Zen and Kol. “Zendus and Kollack?”
Kol would flick his ear in slight annoyance at his full name while Zen would happily nod in confirmation.
The Inteleon would smirk before turning back to the door. “Sorry about the wait. Please follow me…”

 
Havor’s Office, Olmec’s Medical Center, Stonehaven, Afternoon

As Zen and Kol walked into the Inteleon’s office, Havor was quick to speak. “So… when’s you two’s wedding?” He would glance at them with a slight smirk.
Zen’s eyes would widen in shock while Kol stepped forwards defiantly. “W-Who told you that!?”
The doctor merely smiled wider. “Heh~ You just did Rockruff…”
Kol’s face would then turn to shock before he closed his mouth and blushed.

The doctor would chuckle before walking to his desk. “Heh. I’m one of the three doctors practicing in this town…”
Kol looked towards his partner only to find that the Zorua was looking back at him with wariness. He would quickly shake his head and gave Zen a reassuring smile.
Zen’s eyes would light up at the Rockruff’s encouragement. He confidently turned to meet the Inteleon’s eyes. “T-Thank you for seeing me Doc!”
Havor waved him off. “It’s no problem. Your parents did schedule this for you…” He would reach for a blank paper before turning back to the Zorua. “Now then, what seems to be the problem?”
“Heh~ Uhm… I-I’m worried about my Corrupted Talent I’ve received from my ceremony…”
The Inteleon looked up from his writing and smirked before looking at Kol. “And what brings you here Kollack?”
The Rockruff stared at him in surprise. “H-Huh? What about me?”
Havor chuckled. “What brings you here? Why would you come to an appointment like this?”
Kol lowered his head while side-eyeing Zen. “Uhm… Because I was asked to. A-And I would always except an invitation from my boyfriend for something this important!”
Havor would tilt his head and frown mysteriously for a few seconds. “I see…”
Zen narrowed his eyes in suspicion. “Why would you feel the need to ask Kol that? This is my appointment!”
Havor merely chuckled and shook his head. “Heh~ Young adults…” He would then put down the paper and begin walking towards Zen.
The Zorua tried to take a wary step back only to wince in pain. “Aagh…”
“Zen!” Kol bounded over to him. “Are you alright!?”
Zen opened one of his eyes at the Rockruff, a wry smile appeared on his face. “Y-Yeah… I-I think I stepped on one of my bruises…”
Kol nuzzled onto and helped his partner back up.
Havor would smirk at the sight. “Very interesting~…” He continued walking until he got close to the pair.
Zen defiantly got in front of the Zorua. “Y-You’re scaring him you know!”
The Inteleon gave him an unbothered look. “Hmm… I see now…” He would then produce a tiny, odd container from behind himself and began inspecting it. “My Corrupted Talent is known as Extraction… So long as I know the substance I am looking for, I can extract it from any living thing…” He then stopped his inspection and looked solely at Kol. “The only downside is that the process is particularly painful…”
Kol would have tilted his head in confusion if he didn’t feel a noticeable twinge in his side. “Grrr-ooowww…”
“K-Kol!” Zen darted from behind the Rockruff and looked in surprise to see a very tiny hole in the dog pokemon. It looked as if he had been pierced with a needle. “A-Are you alright?”
As quickly as the pain came Kol felt it numb immediately. He would look up in shock to see a purplish liquid in the container Havor was holding. “W-What did you do? What is that?”
Havor seemed to not hear him. His gaze remained focused on the container. He would tilt his head a few times over the few seconds of his studying. Only one word seemed to leave his mouth. “… Fascinating…”
Zen and Kol would look at each other before staring at the Inteleon in confusion.
It would take another few moments before Havor seemed to come back to reality. He would side eye the two Pokemon. “Do you two know how Corruption works?”
Zen and Kol tilted their heads. “Yeah?” They both said.
Kol would find his voice again. “Corruption takes our desires and helps us realize them.
Havor grimaced in clear disappointment. “Hmph… It’s more than just that…” He would then turn away from them and approach his desk. “Corruption takes your DEEPEST desires and empowers them far beyond that of a normal Pokemon…” The Inteleon would smirk slightly as he would turn back around to reveal a flower. “I, for instance, had an extreme love of flowers… But not just flowers… I’ve always wanted to know what makes them up… How they worked… All before any classes told me…” Havor would begin to look at the flower longingly. “After my Corruption Ceremony, when I had already figured out the answer to my curiosities, the Corruption knew that I still had that burning curiosity… I still wanted to see the results with my very eyes… As such~…” He would then hold out the flower and seemingly point at it. Immediately, it began to wither and become dehydrated.
Zen and Kol watched in wonder as water began to materialize and trickle out of the Inteleon’s hands.
“I was given Extraction…” Havor would finish. He smirked again before crushing the flower and looking up at them. “For you two, it’s the same…”
Kol’s eyes would widen as his mind made the connection. “I-Is that why you asked me what I was doing here!?”
The Inteleon smiled softly. “Heh~ You really are his Shield…”
The Rockruff tilted his head. “Shield?”
Havor continued smiling. “Sword and Shield…” He would then turn to Zen. “It is clear that you two are deeply entwinned with each other. Even more than your love for each other…”
Zen frowned. “W-What do you mean?”
“Your goals dear Zorua~!” Havor would turn back to his desk and produce the paper he had written on.
The younger pokemon marveled at the well-drawn sword and shield that were crossed with each other.
“Zen… the clear reasons for your injuries is a simple case of the Corruption shifting your durability into power…” The Inteleon turned to him fully. “Your frailty will be juxtaposed with immense volumes of what you seek…”
Zen’s eyes lit up. “S-So I’ll be much stronger and bigger?”
Havor smiled widely. “Much, much, stronger…” He paused as a blush formed on his face. “And much, much bigger~…” He would then turn to Kol. “A shame you appear to be a top, Rockruff… You’re going to miss out on quite the experience~”

Zen would look through a few hiding spots pulling his head out with a frown. “Huh… I guess he’s late…”
Seconds later, Kol would dash through the opening and land valiantly in front of the Zorua. “Worry not my dear Foxy~! I’m- ” He froze as he found the grotto empty. He tilted his head and quickly glanced around. “Odd… I heard him…” He would pad around for a while before settling in the center.

“KOL! A-Are you alright!?” Zen glanced over all of the splinters and spikes embedded in the dog pokemon’s fur. Bruises and darkened fur coated their body. Zen could only begin to tear up at the Rockruff’s body. “I-I hurt you…”
Kol frowned. “What are you talking about Foxy? I’m fine.”
The Zorua shook his head “L-Look at you! You’ve got a bunch of cuts and scrapes because me!”
Kol tilted his head. “Zen… You already know none of it hurts me. Not only does it not hurt, it doesn’t leave a lasting injury on me anyways.” He would end up smiling. “If anything, it ends up making me horny and needing to “relieve” myself~…”
