It's more of a spacetime anomaly, or, at best, a very very very heavy bowling ball that draws things in. \n\nGranted if you're Char and have just spent the past 24 hours with your goddess girlfriend constantly dialing up your production, you don't really CARE. Anything that isn't flooding the entire universe is getting fucked until some of the pressure's off. It can just DEAL with the hyperspeed shots stretching its event horizon and threatening to turn it into an even more exotic absurdity.\n\n...Besides, white holes had to get their color somehow.\n\n\n----------------------------------\n\nOkay but for real though, I'd like to take a moment to break character and kind of address this pic. Because I love it a lot. The artist is CosmicPizzaBuffet... and they're gone. They did this request for me and one other and then they just kind of left. I might have been one of the last people who interacted with them when they did a tweet that just said '...' and deleted their entire online presence...\n\nAnd I wanted to say I'm sorry. Not just to them but to all my art friends and anybody who follows me. Especially for the art I haven't posted. I want to insist that I do really appreciate it, always, and this one in particular is an actual favorite. I've come to appreciate more recently that Char is really hard to draw but he looks great.\n\nPart of the issue is that I always want to post it perfectly. I want to include a clever blurb, a relevant bit of story, or aim for a reasonably busy time, and overtime sometimes something gets lost or it just takes me too long to do it properly, and in the meantime I look like an ungrateful dick and I hate that. \n\nAnother part of the issue is that, in person, when just chatting? I'm naturally very quiet. A little terse, frequently distracted, and all this month... sick as a dog. When I have something specific to dish on I can really get going, but otherwise coming across as friendly and positive is not something that comes naturally.\n\nSo I want to take a moment to say -thank you-. Thank you for watching me, thank you for appreciating my characters, and an extra special thank you to anybody who has, out of pure enthusiasm, drawn my characters. I really can't think of anything I actually cherish more.",
