Batty was most interested in the MK-ULTRA experiments on artists, poets and the like. Seemingly, “chemistry” produces a repeatable, reproducible effect on the artwork. Batty was fascinated with this discovery, and sought out a few substances to perform his own art-driven “chemistry” experiments~!\n\nThis is the only artwork drawn using alcohol, and consumed specifically to determine its effect on artwork. Alcohol, despite its use being legal, is a cleaning solvent that is toxic to every part of the body. Consumption of alcohol causes permanent brain damage with each use. I do not drink alcohol, and never have regularly, but for the purposes of my MK-ULTRA experiment, I did drink a few drinks over a period of a night drawing (~9 years ago) to determine its effects on the artwork. For context, there has never been any point in my life where I drank regularly.
