Perhaps even their own partner is micromanaging which furry art is allowed to be seen.\n\nI made my fursona in secret, I didn’t tell anyone that I am a furry or that I had decided to learn how to draw. Art was the only way that I expressed myself, and in particular, my only outlet for sexual energy. Without the social pressure of “irl,” I could just be myself and be fully honest about anything. At the same time, I know what it is like to be known by your furry name irl and to only know furries irl. The way it is, you can have only one of the two possible furry experiences. You cannot be public about your name and fursona irl and still be fully honest and transparent without irl consequences. That is an additional social pressure, which I will call “Democracy.” Democracy means majority rule, and the demographic which today comprises “furries” (an identity) is different from the demographic when I got started making artwork over a decade ago. All speech in the irl furry society must align exactly with The Narrative™ as presented by Fact Checkers™ and Experts™ and The Science™. What this means in practice is that those who control the popular perception of these “authoritative ideas” functionally have the benefit of the gestalt’s “appeal to authority” backing their respective ideas. The media’s actors dress up in lab-coats and horn-rimmed glasses, dye their hair black, and tell you what “The Science™” says. You are expected to have faith that what they say is so true that it replaces God, and everyone in the entire world should be forced to participate in the needle blood ritual, too. An executive is an actor, they don’t know a thing about how any of the engineering works, they just know what words to say to sell to a wealthy fool. They dress themselves as the archetype for Hollywood-test-tube-Science-in-a-labcoat. They demand to be treated as your superior, even in the eyes of God. That’s what always gives them away. Your Free Will is equal to his, regardless of his media connections. The Free Will secret is secret by virtue of being unspoken. It [i]is.[/i]\n\nIf I had an irl furry community, I would have a secret fursona. I continue my chosen name, ShySketch, because I do not have any irl furry community. Respecting my expression, I value freedom, truth and especially my ability to express honestly. I don’t have to change my artistic expression on the whims of the media brainwashing all of my associates irl, [i]anymore.[/i] If you are those eyes, a “secret watcher,” and you are still trapped, I sympathize with you. I was there, too. If you are trying to escape, you should completely cut contact and disappear from irl, but that takes preparation. Just remember that if you show any “self improvement” that those who you associate with will attack you. They want to see failure and misery, if you are doing well due to your own decisions you will be hated for it. Find your independence or find someone who you can be independent with. Contain your ego and keep your mouth shut until you have your independence. Stockpile your expressions of truth to share, [i]later.[/i] They will sabotage you if you depend on them for anything, “misery loves company.” Happiness is found in small, independent groups.
