I attended the concert with a furry friend from online who I met up with at the show. The first and only time I met a furry from the internet in real life. I found out a few years later when I was trying to reach out and catch up with him that he passed away. RIP to my blue dragon buddy, thanks for being there with me at my first ever concert and first ever Grateful Dead experience. <3\n\nI had gone into the concert expecting a party, but it was a bit more like church. But not the church I had gone to growing up, it felt like what a church was supposed to be. There was a divine presence, and everyone felt like family.\n\nAlso, the idea of the \"VibeZ\" on Batty's face are kind of a representation of this image : https://psychonautwiki.org/wiki/File:Brain_connectivity.jpg\n\nWhile I had always had a little bit of synesthesia with music, which could sometimes be sort of like a music \"visualizer\" (but in my imagination). The music by the Grateful Dead was always particularly and especially \"visual,\" more than anything else I had heard at the time~! Seeing the music played live amplified my synesthesia to the point where I could \"see\" it with my eyes open, sort of like these electric \"patterns\" which I interpreted sort of like the synaptic connections inside my brain firing off. For example, I could think of any idea, and a bolt of electric, colored light would flash and draw itself before my eyes in a distinctive pattern and in a distinctive color. I do not recall exactly which thought I had to see this purple/green light pattern, but I do recall that when I thought of \"death\" that it was a black bolt and lacked color. I'm sure this sounds a little nutty, but I'm pretty sure synesthesia is part of what makes certain musicians so good at their craft. I don't know anything about music theory or how to play an instrument, so it's kind of like a way for me to mentally keep track of it all in my ignorance~! UwU\n\nThe original description was merely the copy/paste of the \"level 8B\" psychonaut description. But I want to place a song on this one. During the concert, I was hanging out at the back (like I normally do) conversing on the floor with a few kind strangers, but I stood up and danced along when Eyes of the World started, so I'm gonna' post that song.\n\nJust the studio version, the live versions are usually longer and headier, but let's just keep it sweet and clean and listenable for the lads who are not familiar with the Grateful Dead and their unique music distribution networks~! x3\n\nSong : Eyes of The World - Grateful Dead (1973 studio version) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGjsYLlTxQ4 ",
