It was thrown open with a gust as three young cubs rushed in: a brown raccoon, a purple cat with pink hair, and a stark white bunny. The bunny and kitten ran up to a telescope that was perched right by the window and examined it in awe.\n\n“You finally got it set up!” The bunny exclaimed.\n\n“So cool!” The cat replied.\n\n“Ya know, it's funny,” the raccoon started, a grin formed on his face, “You guys never pegged me as stargazers.”\n\n“Yeah but this is one of those new, super-duper cool electronic telescopes! Everything looks so big through it!”\n\n“I wanna use it now!” The bunny squeaked.\n\n“Ok, but...” the raccoon stuck his tongue out. “Do you even know how to turn it on?”\n\nBoth of the other two boys glanced at each other and blushed, before they both took a single step away from it. The raccoon giggled and walked over to the device.\n\n“Landis, Kevin, I welcome you...” the raccoon said, his voice drenched in over the top theatrics, “to the Radix Astronomy Center!”\n\nWith a quick motion, Radix's paw went under the telescope's main tube and flipped a switch. The entire system came to life with a faint hum, lights having turned on inside the lenses. The bunny and kitten stared in awe as it came on.\n\n“So, who first?” Radix asked.\n\nKevin and Landis glanced at each other and held their paws out. Rock, Papser, Scissors was how most of these situations were solved among kids. The paws moved, and...\n\n“Paper beats rock, I go first!” Landis cheered.\n\nKevin pretended to be upset as he stepped away from the telescope. Landis grinned and padded over towards it. He peeked on through the eyehole and tilted it upward. A while orb practically filled up the sight as he looked through it.\n\n“Woah! The moon is massive in this!” The purple kitten exclaimed. “How do I zoom in?”\n\n“Buttons on the side.” The raccoon answered.\n\nBefore Landis could motion for the controls, Kevin jumped up and pressed the button on the side with an arrow pointing up. Landis mewed in surprise as the moon took up the entire view at this point. Kevin let out a small giggle at the kitten's surprise.\n\n“Woah! Every crater looks so clear!” Landis said.\n\n“Lemme see!” Kevin pleaded.\n\nLandis stepped out of the way for Kevin, the bunny quick in taking his place to look through.\n\n“It looks like Swiss cheese!” Kevin joked.\n\nRadix couldn't help but giggle at that. “The moon isn't made out of cheese, Kevin.”\n\nThe bunny stuck his tongue out at the raccoon. “You've been?”\n\n“No, but come on!” Radix replied, his tongue also out.\n\nKevin laughed and moved the telescope a bit to the side. The bunny's head tilted to the side curiously when the focus fell on a particularly bright star just south of the moon.\n\n“What's this thing?” Kevin asked.\n\n“You probably found a planet.” Radix explained.\n\n“Really? Lemme see!” Landis pleaded.\n\nKevin stepped aside to let the purple Manx reclaim the telescope. Landis took to it and hit the zoom button to focus in. His face lit up when he saw what Kevin was talking about.\n\n“It is a planet! Hey, Radix, what planet is this?”\n\nThe raccoon smiled more and walked over. Landis stepped out of the way to let the slightly older cub take a turn with his own device. Radix's tongue stuck out over his top lip as he adjusted the view, zooming in as far as he could before the pictured turned pixelated. The raccoon grinned at the sight.\n\n“Not bad, I think you found Saturn.” Radix said.\n\n“I didn't see any rings!” Landis replied.\n\n“Me either!” Kevin added.\n\nThe raccoon giggled a bit. “From this far away? Nah. But that is Saturn.”\n\n“So cool...” Landis awed.\n\nKevin nodded in response and smiled wide. “I wonder what else we can see!”\n\nThe raccoon was surprised to see the response, but didn't let it show, instead he leaned against the window frame.\n\n“You guys wanna keep going, I take it?” Radix asked them.\n\nBoth Kevin and Landis were eager in their quick nods of reply. The raccoon was glad to see that they really wanted to indulge in his hobby. They spent the next hour pointing the telescope out the window and into the night sky, gliding the telescope along to see all that there could be to see from their vantage point.\n\nWhen that hour passed, Radix stepped back, and flopped down onto the bed. His eyes were focused up at the sky, and the raccoon had a warm smile on his face.\n\n“It's really beautiful, isn't it?” Radix asked.\n\nRadix felt something at right side and glanced over. Kevin was wiggling himself up against his raccoon friend, crossing his legs as he sat down.\n\n“Yeah it is!” The bunny said.\n\nRadix looked to his left as he saw the purple Manx plopping down next to him, laying against the boy's side.\n\n“Pretty awesome.” Landis added.\n\nThe raccoon couldn't help but blush a little from his friends' comments. He wrapped an arm around each of them and pulled them close to his body. All three of them glanced out the window, smiles on their faces.\n\n“Seeing all that,” Radix explained, his smile growing wider, “It really wants to make me explore the world!”\n\n“Just as long as you don't forget about us!” Kevin chimed in.\n\n“Of course not!” Radix laughed, “You guys are welcome to join me!”\n\n“I wouldn't mind going on some adventures.” Landis said, still looking towards the sky.\n\nThe three boys sat on the bed, still looking to the stars for roughly a minute. Kevin started to get fidgety, however, and it drew attention to him though.\n\n“Ya know...” he said, “There's my own kind of exploring I wanna do right now.” Kevin capped the statement with a toothy grin.\n\nRadix tilted his head and raised a brow at the odd statement, his mouth agape in his confusion. “Huh?”\n\n“Oh, I think I know what he means!” Landis replied, a sly smirk appearing on the kitten's face.\n\n“What are you-?” The raccoon was about to ask the two of them, but then his eyes shuttered open as his mind finally understood. “Ohhhhhhhhhh...”\n\nKevin grinned and raw a paw onto Radix's overall-covered thigh. “A little thank you for arranging this sleepover.”\n\n“And for letting us use your telescope.” Landis added, pressing up real close to the raccoon.\n\nRadix grinned and let out a giggle as the two teased him. “Well, it's been a while since I've done anything with you guys anyway... what'd you have in mind?” He asked.\n\n“Oh, just leave that to us!” Landis relied, giving that kind of smile that only cats can do.\n\nBefore Radix could say anything else, he was pushed back against the bed, his ears picking up the popping sound of his overalls coming undone. Kevin grabbed onto the denim shortly afterwards and tugged them down. Radix could feel his shirt being pushed up his body and lifted his arms. Landis pulled the shirt all the way off and tossed it aside. This just left the raccoon in his tight white briefs, which were by now obviously tented.\n\n“Want the honors?” Kevin signaled.\n\n“Hehe, sure thing.” Landis replied, with a wink.\n\nThe purple manx hitched his digits into the waistband of Radix's underwear, and pulled them down. Kevin stepped aside to let the purple Manx reclaim the telescope. Landis took to it and hit the zoom button to focus in. His face lit up when he saw what Kevin was talking about.

“It is a planet! Hey, Radix, what planet is this?”

The raccoon smiled more and walked over. Landis stepped out of the way to let the slightly older cub take a turn with his own device.
