The house they parked outside of was a Dutch-colonial style, cream colored, with brown trimmings along the roof, windows, and doorframe. As they were about to disembark, the family saw another car pull into the driveway next to them.\n\n“That must be Patrick and Melanie dropping Justin off.” Henry said.\n\nOlivia nodded and got out of the car, before heading over to help her son out. Calrin sighed and stood there, looking down at the pavement as Another set of figures came out of the other car: a family of red foxes, half blonde, half brunette. The adult male, his blonde hair tied back, turned towards he Bolfreys and waved.\n\n“Yo! Henry, Olivia! It’ll be nice to see him play with a girl for once.”\n\nJustin flailed and dived out from under his mom. “I don’t like girls though!”\n\nPatrick smirked and ruffled Justin’s hair. “Careful how ya say that, champ.”\n\nThe younger cub, with darker hair than Justin, giggled and tugged at his brother’s arm. “Justin’s gotta play with a girl and I don’t!” he said in a singsong voice.\n\n“Alex, knock it off!” Justin retorted, whining slightly.\n\nAfter the adults shared a laugh at the playful sibling ribbing, Henry motioned for the door. “Shall we?”\n\nPatrick nodded. “We shall.”\n\nWith that, both parties went up to the front door of the house, ringing the doorbell. After a few seconds, they heard the clicking of a lock, and the door, and as it opened, they were greeted with the sight of an adult ferret male, his short brown hair spiked up, and glasses on his eyes, drooping slightly.\n\n“[i]¡Hola![/i] You must be the families of Jaimie’s new friends! Come in, come in!” He said, stepping aside to clear room. His accent had a slight Spanish twang.\n\nAs the families filed in, they looked around the house. Glad you could make it!” She said, a slightly teasing tone to her voice.\n\n“Wouldn’t miss it for the world…” Justin grumbled in a deadpan tone. All Calrin did was gulp slightly.\n\nPatrick smirked and patted Justin’s head, turning the red kit around to face him. “You be on your best behavior for the Renaldos, ok little buddy?”\n\nJustin nodded slowly and looked over to Calrin.\n\n“Most importantly: try to enjoy it, ok, Calrin?” Olivia asked her son.\n\nThe yellow kit nodded and looked up at his mom, forcing a smile. “You got it, mom.”\n\nAfter both parents hugged their kids, and Alex teased Justin some more, the rest of the families left, leaving Calrin and Justin to the mercy of Jay. Miguel looked between the two boys, pushing his glasses up. “So,” he began, “Do you boys want some snacks or something?”\n\nBefore either of them could answer, Jay got between the two of them and grinned. “Actually, daddy!” She said, “I was hoping to play with them in my room a bit!”\n\nMiguel gave his daughter a warm smile and patted her on the head. “Go ahead, sweetie.”\n\nJay giggled and grabbed hold of both of the foxes, practically dragging them up to the stairs. Before they could go up, however, Calrin dug his feet in, and turned to Miguel.\n\n“Mr. Renaldo,” Calrin asked, “Where in Mexico are you from?”\n\nThe ferret was slightly taken aback by the sudden origins question, but he laughed it off and shook his head.\n\n“Oh, no, no. I’m not from Mexico,” He explained, “I’m from Spain itself, the city of Saragossa!”\n\nCalrin giggled nervously and shook his head. “I’m sorry!”\n\nBefore Miguel could reply, Jay had resumed dragging the boys upstairs. As they made their way down the hall, they had to stop as a older figure came out of one of the other doors. He was another ferret, looked about his early teens, and had his long, wavy, brown hair tied into a ponytail.\n\n“Woah, slow down there, Jaimie.” He said. And then his eyes met the two foxes with her, and a smirk formed on the teen’s face. “So you’re trying to roll with two boyfriends at once? At your age?”\n\n“Knock it off, Emilio!” Jay retorted, huffing and stomping her foot onto the floor.\n\nEmilio grinned and knelt down to match Jay’s eye level, a slight chuckle escaping his mouth. “Oh come now, Jaimie, can’t I mess around with my own sister? I think it’s cute.”\n\nJay stammered and pointed at them. “They’re boys! They aren’t cute! The walls were a pale, but very noticeable pink color, and the sheets matched the curtains over her window in being magenta. She had a white bed with pink lining, which matched her desk and the accompanying chair. The yellow kit nodded and looked up at his mom, forcing a smile. “You got it, mom.”

After both parents hugged their kids, and Alex teased Justin some more, the rest of the families left, leaving Calrin and Justin to the mercy of Jay. Miguel looked between the two boys, pushing his glasses up. “So,” he began, “Do you boys want some snacks or something?”

“Oh, no, no. I’m not from Mexico,” He explained, “I’m from Spain itself, the city of Saragossa!”

Calrin giggled nervously and shook his head. “I’m sorry!”

Before Miguel could reply, Jay had resumed dragging the boys upstairs. As they made their way down the hall, they had to stop as a older figure came out of one of the other doors. He was another ferret, looked about his early teens, and had his long, wavy, brown hair tied into a ponytail.

“Woah, slow down there, Jaimie.” He said. And then his eyes met the two foxes with her, and a smirk formed on the teen’s face. “So you’re trying to roll with two boyfriends at once? At your age?”

“Knock it off, Emilio!” Jay retorted, huffing and stomping her foot onto the floor.

Emilio grinned and knelt down to match Jay’s eye level, a slight chuckle escaping his mouth. “Oh come now, Jaimie, can’t I mess around with my own sister? I think it’s cute.”

Jay stammered and pointed at them. “They’re boys! They aren’t cute! Only girls are cute!”

Emilio laughed and stepped aside. “As you wish, princess.”

“Was that your brother?” Calrin asked.

Jay huffed and kicked her door open, bringing the foxes in. “Yeah, yeah… anyway!” She began, her tone changing to be faux pleasant, “Welcome to my room!”

Calrin and Justin took a look around and cringed. The walls were a pale, but very noticeable pink color, and the sheets matched the curtains over her window in being magenta. She had a white bed with pink lining, which matched her desk and the accompanying chair. She also had a bookcase, the entire top two shelves of which were filled with My Little Pony figures.

“Well… um…” Calrin stammered, trying to think of something to say.

Justin groaned and crossed his arms. “So… what then?”
