Richie grinned and bolted upstairs, leaving the two foxes in his dust. After blinking a bit, they smirked and bolted up the stairs in blurs of red and yellow. They made their way to Richie’s room and walked in. The walls were a vibrant green, the floor was hardwood, and there were a lot of toys and posters in it. Richie was on his bed, bouncing about, grinning wide. The foxes looked curiously at their friend as they entered, climbing up onto his bed with him.

“What’s got you so jumpy?” Justin asked.

Richie grinned and reached under his bed, pulling out a folder. He opened it up and spread out the contents on the bed for his friends, making Calrin and Justin gasp. Inside the folder were all pictures, recent ones at that, of cubs of various ages, in very explicit poses, some with other cubs, some with obvious teenagers and adults. The foxes stared at the collection in shock, but Richie wasn’t fazed. In fact, he was grinning as he displayed this collection.

Calrin sighed and smiled, picking up one of the photos again. The yellow fox blushed a little as that moment started replaying in his head. Calrin shook his head and held the picture up to Richie.

“I wanna keep this one.” Calrin said. Richie looked at it and gave his friend a smile.

“Alright, it’s yours!” Richie happily replied. He then turned to Justin, still smiling. “How about you, Justin?”

Justin ran through all of the pictures again, and pulled one out quickly. “THIS one!” he exclaimed proudly as he showed it off. “Alright, Calrin and Justin, there are for-” He then noticed the mess on the table. “…you.” He said before letting out a sigh and small chuckle. “Well looks like I have some cleaning to do.”

Calrin blushed and looked down. “Sorry, Mr. Mathis…” he said. Greg sighed and patted the young fox’s head.

“Don’t be upset… just help us clean up. And get dressed. Your families will be here soon.”

Calrin and Justin nodded, helping clean up the table, and everyone else. When that was done, Greg sent them all to get into the shower…. And just shower, as there wasn’t enough time to mess around in there, he explained. Once everyone was cleaned up and dressed, they relaxed and played in the living room, watching cartoons. Somewhere during this, Greg had given Calrin and Justin the discs had earlier.

“Got it, Mr. Mathis!” Justin said.

“Promise not to tell!” Calrin confirmed.

Greg smiled and continued helping everybody get ready. When the doorbell finally rang, Greg got up and went to go answer it.

“Oh thank goodness, your kids were such a handful.” Greg said as he opened the door, revealing Henry and Olivia Bolfrey, and Patrick and Melanie Daniels standing at the door. They walked in and looked a little concerned.

“Were they really too much for you, Greg?” Henry asked with concern.

“I told him so.” Patrick said, standing with his arms behind his head.

Greg laughed and grinned at his friends’ families. “I’m just playing you. They were fine.” Greg patted the heads of Calrin and Justin as they ran up to hug their parents. “Weren’t you?”

Both of the cubs nodded and cuddled into their parents. Olivia smiled and sighed in relief.

“Thank goodness,” she said, “I wasn’t worried, but Henry wouldn’t stop moaning ‘oh I’m worried’, ‘Oh Greg can’t do this without Caitlyn.’”

Greg smirked and playfully punched Henry’s arm. “Nice to know what you really think of my parenting there, Snow White.”

Henry gave the biggest scowl he could muster at the teasing nickname, before he was interrupted by a tugging at his leg. He looked down and saw Richie standing in front of him, grinning wide.

“They can come over again sometime for the night, right?” He asked excitedly. Melanie laughed and turned to Henry.

“Sure seems like they had fun, you old stick in the mud.” She said. Henry rolled his eyes and gave a small thumbs-up to Richie.

“Guess I have no choice but to OK it now for Calrin.” Henry said.

“And it’s A-OK for Justin too.” Patrick said.

Both cubs hugged their parents and smiled wide, both saying “Thank you!” at the same time. This caused the adults to laugh and hug their sons back. Greg smiled and looked at the time on his phone.

“You guys better get going, didn’t you have that birthday party today?”

Melanie nodded and snapped her fingers. “That’s right, the Smiths from church! Pat, we still need to pick up a card.”

“Right! Better get shoving off then!”

After waving goodbye, the Bolfreys and Daniels left for their cars, greg and the Mathis cubs watching from the doorway. Calrin and Justin themselves were smiling the entire time. And hidden in their bags were the two DVDs, with all the footage they took while staying there. The two cubs grinned at each other before being brought to their separate cars.
