Those masks cover their faces, somewhat of a hard, outer shell. Think of the masks from Halloween that kids would wear of the Bleach show. (Think of when Ichigo goes human with Hallow Mask.) The mask have markings on it, looking like blood stains on it.\n\nRed, pin point eyes can be seen from within the eye sockets of the mask.
