Shinxy and Mewtwo's absence resulted in Dreike and Terra being pushed onto the defensive. Charon: Fuhuhuh... crushing you will be much easier now, now that those other two are out of the picture. Dreike: We need to think of something, fast. Otherwise we're done for. Terra: But what? We can't beat Lugia or Deoxys like this, and we can't get close to Charon while they're in the way... As Dreike and Terra were on the brink of defeat, Mewtwo flew up from the bottom cloud layer, levitating Shinxy by it's side. They emerged behind Charon in his blind spot. Shinxy: Now, Mewtwo!! Charon: Huh?? With the signal given, Mewtwo flung Shinxy straight at Charon. Then, Mewtwo quickly engaged Deoxys in combat again so it would not attack Shinxy. Shinxy crashed clean into Charon's back, clinging onto him from around his waist and trying to pull him off of Lugia. Charon began punching Shinxy on the head and swinging side to side to fend him off. Charon: Get... off me... you pest!! Shinxy: Guuhhh! Fat chance! Terra: Shinxy's okay! Thank goodness. Dreike: That reckless idiot. Heheh, go get him, Shinxy! After a moment of struggling and multiple hits to the head, Shinxy's grip on Charon loosened and he fell off of Lugia. Once Mewtwo noticed Shinxy falling, it retreated away from Deoxys and caught Shinxy with it's psychic power, flying away and levitating Shinxy along with it, returning to Dreike and Terra's side. Charon: Annoying little roach! Trying to get me to fall off of Lugia? I'll admit it wasn't a bad plan, but you were too weak to succeed! Don't you understand how fruitless your efforts here are? Just give up! Shinxy: Oh, I wouldn't say that my plan didn't succeed~ Dreike, and Terra looked a bit confused as Shinxy made that claim, and Charon laughed. Charon: Fuhyahyahyah! Of course you failed! I'm still standing strong! Your little sneak attack didn't take me down, and now you won't get that chance again! Shinxy: True, I didn't knock you off of Lugia. But you may want to check your right coat pocket. Terra: His coat pocket? Wait, did you do what I think you did? Charon: What are you blabbering about? ... Wait... Charon put his hand over his coat pocket, and felt it was missing it's contents. He then frantically patted both of the pockets on his coat and on his pants. Charon: No, no no no NO! Where is it?! Shinxy: Looking for this~? Shinxy opened up his jacket, and revealed his Mew who was on his back underneath the jacket. Mew was holding the Master Ball that Lugia was captured by. Charon: WHAT?!?! How did you get that?! Shinxy: Isn't it obvious? Mew was hiding in my jacket the whole time, and she pick-pocketed you in our struggle. Dreike: Damn man, I wouldn't have thought that you would think of something so sneaky. Terra: That's brilliant! Well done! Charon: You... you ROACH! Give that back to me this instant!! Shinxy: Why would I do that after having gone through all the trouble of stealing it from you? I'm not an idiot. Mewtwo, I couldn't have pulled this off without you. Would you like to do the honors? Mewtwo: I would be happy to. Shinxy handed the Master Ball to Mewtwo, and the powerful psychic 'mon promptly smashed it to bits. The tiny pieces of the Master Ball sprinkled away by the wind, completely destroyed. As the device was eradicated, Lugia's eyes stopped glowing red and it loosened it's nerves. Terra: Look, something's happening with Lugia! Charon: No... this can't be happening! ???: ...Get off of my back, you wretched man. Charon: Wha- who said that? Dreike: Could it be? Mewtwo: Yes. Lugia is speaking telepathically for us all to hear, much like I do. Charon: I, eehh, W-why not keep fighting for me? We can take these guys and rule the world! Lugia: I have no intention of assisting you and your malicious schemes. Especially not after you captured me in that disgusting device. You have five seconds before I spin and knock you off into the sea. Charon: D-Deoxys, lift me off of Lugia now! Deoxys did as commanded, using it's power to levitate Charon off of Lugia's back and by Deoxys' side. Lugia flew away and closer to Rayquaza and the others. Charon: You lot might have set Lugia free and won this battle, but I still have Deoxys! Mark my words, I wILL be back! Shinxy: Oh, I don't think you'll be going anywhere. Charon: Ah, but I will! Deoxys can change into four different forms, one of them being built for speed! Once Deoxys has transformed, it'll be impossible to catch us! Shinxy: Wow, that's pretty neat! But it's pointless if you don't have this~ Mew emerged from Shinxy's coat again, holding another Master Ball. Charon: No... you have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! Dreike: Is that... Deoxys' pokeball? Terra: Ahahahahah!! This is too good! Shinxy: I admit, the plan was to just get Lugia's pokeball, but I told Mew to get the other one too if I held onto Charon for long enough. Mewtwo, would you mind smashing another one? Mewtwo: I would be delighted to. Once again, Mewtwo destroyed the Master Ball, this one being linked to Deoxys. The shattered pieces were blown away by the wind. Deoxys did not change it's demeaner, however. Charon: You PESTS!!! Terra: So now that Deoxys is free, shouldn't it be siding with us? Mewtwo: Deoxys was acting of it's own free will. It is free from it's pokeball now, so whether or not it actually wanted to help Charon remains to be seen. Charon: Deoxys! Get us out of here, now! Deoxys just hovered there silently for a moment. It gazed at Shinxy and the others, before finally dropping Charon. Charon: GAAAAAHHHH!!!! Charon fell out of the clouds, and Deoxys made a gesture of communication at Mewtwo before flying up quickly through the upper cloud layer. Shinxy: Woah! Where is it going? Mewtwo: Deoxys said it is going to space, where it's home lies, and won't ever return to this planet. Terra: Wow, Deoxys is from space? I guess that's how Charon got the idea to lie to me about all pokemon being from space. Dreike: Should we uhhh, go save Charon? Terra: Let him fall into the ocean. Let's just go down there and make sure that if he survies, he doesn't get away. Come on, Rayquaza, let's descend. Rayquaza flew down out of the clouds, and Dreike and his Charizard followed close. Meanwhile, Lugia continued to hover by Shinxy, Mew and Mewtwo. Shinxy: So umm... Lugia... you can undo the stormy weather that Charon guy made you create, right? Lugia: Yes, I can. But I would like to apologize to you first. I emerged nearby land to roost, as I often do in different locations, and that man snuck up on me. After that, things were hazy. I was not in my right mind when he made me attack you, and I'm happy you weren't hurt. Shinxy: It's okay, it wasn't your fault! I'm sorry too. Truth be told, I had a friend tell me that guy was coming to try and capture you, but none of us knew he would come out from a submarine... So, please forgive me for not stopping him. Lugia: Hmmm. I was not expecting an apology in return, but I appreciate it. It makes me very happy to see such kind people in this world, especially after what just happened. Mewtwo: Yes, I feel the same way. Shinxy's kindness is what led me here to help you as well, otherwise I would still be holed up in a cave, bitter at his kind because of my past experience. Shinxy: Eheheh, come on you two, you're making me blush! Lugia: Hmhmhmhm. Alright. Give me a moment, and I will erase this storm.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
