And so, it's time to kick off the new year with a NEW drawing lol. And this is my first potty pic I've made in the new year 2020 lol. It's also the first drawing in general I've made 2020. \n\nAnd yes, I even went as far as giving it a full background too! And no this is not a new \"new years resolution\" either lol. I RARELY draw backgrounds. Due to how time consuming it is (to draw and color), and how hard it can be sometimes. But if I'm feeling energetic and motivated enough (like I was this week), here and there I'll draw backgrounds in my drawings. \n\nSo this has been an idea I just randomly had in mind. For a while, I've been wanting to draw a new potty pic of Bali from the show \"Bali\". It's been quite a LONG time since I drew a potty pic of this little guy. And well this week (Wednesday), I decided it was FINALLY time to draw one of him.\n\nHowever this drawing was sort of last minute. Let me explain: So I was originally going to draw Bali using a different toilet, and I wasn't really planning on adding a background at first. But when it came time to draw it, I found a pretty good reference of a bathroom. And the toilet was kinda hidden behind the sink. So I WAS going to just piece the toilet together with some other references and make it work. \n\nBut I decided it's not worth it, since I don't want to mess anything up. And decided you know what, let's draw the entire background lmao. Since there wasn't a whole lot of details required to draw and color. I just had to color the walls, the floor, the toilet, and the handles on the drawers lol. The table was already white, which was great lol. \n\nSo Wednesday night, I got an early start on this drawing. I started this drawing around 9:30pm at night. And I finished it around 2am. Thank god I was able to start on this drawing early. Because if I started it any later, I probably wouldn't have finished it until around 4am or something lol. And again with backgrounds and details like this, it's going to take a WHILE to finish. But thankfully, I was able to get this all finished in ONE day. Which is awesome.\n\nSo anyways, here's the finished result. Here's a cute pic of Bali using the toilet, like a big boy :3 He's even reading a newspaper, like a grown up. I guess he really wanted to show that he's growing up lol. \n\nSo I sorta have a theory/story behind this drawing. So there was one episode I watched where it was a \"bring your child to work day\" or something like that. And Bali got to go with his dad to his job. And well, I kinda came up with a deleted scene or un-shown moment lol. Where during the day, Bali simply needed to use the bathroom. And well, the bathroom is just a couple steps over. And his dad is right there, so he wouldn't need to go with him or anything. \n\nSo Bali walked right into the bathroom, and left the door cracked open just a tiny bit. Just so his dad can check up on him. And grabbed a newspaper off the floor, pulled down his pants and got seated onto the toilet. Where he then let out all his business and read his newspaper. And after a while his dad took a quick break from working, and came in and checked up on him. Where Bali then looked up and gave him a happy grin :3 Yeah his dad probably laughed, but he's very proud of him lol. \n\nSo anyways, what do you think? Again it's VERY rare I draw backgrounds. And it's been quite a while since I've drawn a full background with a drawing. And as hard is it is, I forgot how fun it was too lol. Maybe I'll try drawing backgrounds more often.
