Harold and story are mine.", "writing": "When Harold woke up he could feel someone holding his arm. His girlfriend Marina was hugging it in her sleep. He smiled and turned over, wrapping her up with his other arm as well and sniffing her hair. He felt extremely lucky with the developments of the past weeks and that the two of them hit it off so well with each other’s friends too. He hugged Marina some more before he tried to get his arm away from her, but in the process he woke her up. The sheep sleepily looked him in the eyes. “ Good morning Harold.” \nHarold kissed her on the forehead. “ Good morning baby. Do you mind giving me my arm back?” Marina shook her head. “ Nu-uh. You’re mine now. “ Harold smiled and ruffled her hair. “But I got to go to the bathroom though.” Marina pouted. “Fine then. But get back soon!”\nAs Harold opened the door of his bedroom, the door next to him opened as well. Aedre, his twin sister, walked outside groggily as well. She looked like she had some things to think about. As the twins locked eyes she blushed and quickly walked past him on the way to the downstairs bathroom. He just looked confused and went to the upstairs bathroom. After his toilet visit and a quick freshening up he went back to his girlfriend who was now sitting upright on her knees, waiting for him to come back. When he closed the door he jumped next to her, taking her with him with one of his arm. As they lay down on the bed once again they play wrestled a bit. The two of them giggling and letting out small screams when they got to each other’s weak spots.\nMeanwhile, Aedre was back downstairs thinking about the past 24 hours. Between meeting her brother’s girlfriend, the talk with her friends Shane and Evalyn about their exploits and the fact that she could hear the two lovebirds love night through her room she was feeling a bit hot and bothered. How would it be to have a boy pay that much attention to you? Will there ever be a boy even interested in her that way? She fell over backwards, sprawled out, and thought about the future as she heard the laugh and screams from the room upstairs.\nShe went up, got to the bathroom, and took a cold shower trying to empty her mind from these thoughts.\n\nAbout half an hour later the three of them were having breakfast downstairs. They all had their separate seats and were just talking about hobbies and school when the plans for today came up. \n“So, what are you two going to do today?” Aedre asked.\n“ Well sis, I was actually considering going to the beach again with Marina. We’re supposed to meet Casey there about some stuff we found.” \n“Is it related to that amulet you got? It is really pretty.” \nHarold grabbed the gift from his girlfriend. “It might be. I guess we’ll possibly hear the details from Casey later.”\n“So Aedre, what will you be doing?” Marina asked.\n“Oh…I have some school work to do, some things to take care off. You know how it is.” \n“Aww, that sounds boring though. Won’t you come with us?”\nAedre smiled at the sheep. “It’s really okay. I’ll have plenty of other friends to hang with if it is necessary. You two have fun together today. I know you had yesterd-“ She froze.\n“Oh-ho? Did my sis hear us last night? Is that why you were so flustered earlier?”\n“Well…what did you expect? All those sounds you two made last night. It got me a bit bothered okay? I’m…thinking of going to see Shane one of these days.\nHarold nodded, “I’m sorry we didn’t take the lack of sound insolation into account. I didn’t know you would be so bothered by it. But are you sure Shane is a good idea? I mean…he’s been around. Shouldn’t you wait until you find someone you love?”\nAedre considered her brothers words. “I do understand what you are saying and when I see you two I can tell it’s different than the things Shane told me, but I just want to learn more and I feel more comfortable talking to Shane about it than with my own brother. It’s not like I’m going to throw myself at him. I just want someone to talk to first.”\n“Alright. You are old enough to fend for yourself. I won’t stop you. But he’d better not disappoint you in any way, or he has me to deal with!” \nAedre smiled, “I know brother. You’re always there for me too. Now go and have fun with your girlfriend. I’ll clean up here.\nMarina and Harold cleaned up their own plates nonetheless before they checked Harold’s phone. Apparently Casey had sent a message that he was already underway to the beach with his maid and would wait for them there. \n\nThe young cheetah was sitting next to his head maid in a convertible. The wind flowing through his manes while he thought about the calls he had received. Apparently the things found by Harold were pretty old, so he brought Annabelle with him. Of course, as head maid and one of the few with a driver’s license in his staff she would be around anyway, but now she was needed for more than that. He needed her expertise. \nAs the cheetah was lost in thought, a stern voice brought him back to reality. “Master, we are approaching the beach. It looks like we will have to walk quite a bit before we get to the meeting place.”\nCasey acknowledged the statement. “Thanks for the update Annabelle. I’ll go up ahead then. You catch up with the diving gear later. I’ll just scout ahead to see if the other are already here.”\nAs they parked the car and got out Annabelle tried to protest that idea some more, but Casey was already almost out of sight. She shook her head at her impatient master and grabbed the scuba gear before calmly walking towards the beach herself, following her master’s footsteps.\nWhen Casey finally slowed down he took in his surroundings. The beach was still fairly quiet at this early time of day. He saw some people with their pets, throwing tennis balls around and a few kite surfers. When he got up a dune and had a good view of the complete environment he saw a blue figure standing alone near some rocks. A bit hidden from the general view. Judging by the description he received, he knew that would be where he had to go. He picked up speed again and dashed to the lone figure.\nWhen he arrived he saw a lone female standing there and he called out to her. “Hey! Marina I presume?” The sheep turned her head towards him and answered. “No, not Marina. She’s my twin sister. I am Aqua. And you are?”\nCasey reached out his hand and grinned. “The name is Casey Nicolai. I’m supposed to meet with Harold and Marina here. Do you know anything about that?”\nAqua nodded. “Marina should be here in a couple of minutes. She asked me to stand here to keep everyone around if she would be late. You’re the first to arrive.”\nCasey stretched a bit and looked at the surroundings. Annabelle was nowhere to be found yet and with the stuff she’d be carrying it might be a while before she’d be here anyway. So that meant he was just alone with this cute girl. “So…you and Marina are twins? Do you also have a boyfriend?”\nAqua glared at him. “That’s quite a personal question to ask when first meeting someone.”\nCasey scratched his head. “Well, I’m sorry, but you look cute. And I had to know. Just in case the two of us could be together sometime?”\n“I have no interest in boys at the moment. And I’d advise you to not push this subject.”\nCasey scooted a bit closer to Aqua, accepting this challenge. “Aww, don’t be like that. I’m just trying to small talk while we wait.” The two looking into each other’s eyes with different intent while waiting for the others.\n\nMeanwhile, Harold and Marina were near the meeting spot on the beach as well. Marina said she would have to get something from home first but she’d be right back, so Harold was just strolling the side by himself. Greeting the passersby with their pets and throwing balls back when they got near him. He suddenly heard a splash nearby, but when he looked around there was nothing to be found. He thought he just had heard something, but when he wanted to get back he heard it again and he was sure he saw something slither too. \nWhen he looked once more close at the surface of the water he could see a blurry image laying still. When he took a few steps he noticed the blurry image following him. He focused on his ears and when he heard something come out of the water he said, “Please come out. I know you’re following me.”\nSlowly a blueish transparent image rose out of the water. Tentacles could be seen first as the figure came into view. Underneath it was a light blue rabbit-looking figure. It looked to be a male as he opened his eyes and looked at Harold.\nA soft voice came out of his mouth. “I’m sorry for stalking you like this. I…was unsure on how to approach. I’ve been kinda watching you since I saw you swim with that aqua sheep. I never saw someone from the surface so close before so deep under water and the way you handled yourself in the water was…intriguing. I’ve been watching you now and you were one of the nicest characters on this beach with the way you handled all the other people too. I’m J by the way. I think they call us Jelly frabbits. Nice to meet you.”\nJ bowed his head and then extended his hand as well. Harold looked at him and gave him a nod and a handshake too. \n“Well, I’m glad you weren’t up to bad stuff at least. My name is Harold. But that time you saw me. That must’ve been when me and Marina were exploring right?”\n“Marina? Is that her name? I’ve seen several aqua sheep before, but I’m not too good with names. They all kinda look alike to me…”\nHarold chuckled. “Well, she does have a twin sister. So it could be that too?”\n“Oh is that so? Well…perhaps I should pay more attention in the future then. But I’ll try to remember your name at least…Harold.”\n“Hey, I’m actually on my way with meeting Marina and her sister, together with some other friends. Maybe you want to come and introduce yourself too?”\nJ scooted back a bit. “These other friends…are they from the surface like you too? “\nHarold nodded, “Yeah, that’s right. But he’s a nice guy. I don’t think you have to worry about hi-“\nA loud scream and splash of water was heard and seen coming from the direction of the meeting place. Harold turned his head towards the commotion as he could hear J jumping back into the ocean. He popped up above the water once more and said, “I’m sorry. But for now I’m not yet ready for more. I do hope I’ll see more of you later.” And as quickly as he had appeared, J had disappeared as well.\nHarold sighed and turned towards the noise, picking up the pace a bit to see what was going on.\n\nWhen Marina finally came back to the shore with a few oxygen masks she calmly made her way towards the meeting area. There was a bit of a ruckus going on and she was quite curious what made everyone so excited. “Hi everyone! Sorry I’m late! Hope you didn’t bore yourselves!” When she saw everyone, Harold was standing with Aqua talking to her about something and Casey was completely soaked. His manes all flat from what could only have been a large amount of water. Annabelle was simply being stoic and unpacking some oxygen tanks herself. Marina looked a bit confused at the scenario. “So…what exactly happened here?”\nAqua and Harold went up to Marina first. Marina could hear Harold saying something about apologizing and Aqua replying with “Well, he has to do it first!” When they got to Marina, Aqua was quick to relay the details to her sister. “So I was here first as you asked. And he –she pointed towards Casey- was the second to arrive. Apparently he thought it would be a good idea to hit on me while we were alone. Even after I told him I’m not interested in boys yet. So he changed the subject, and we just chatted a bit, when he suddenly grabbed me by the butt! And I splashed him. Splashed him up good. He had to cool off.”\nMarina snickered as she looked over at his boyfriend. “And where were you in all this?”\nHarold scratched his head. “I met a new person at the shore and was talking with him. I didn’t get here until after Casey had been splashed. Aqua was kind of annoyed, so I’ve been mostly with her trying to get her to calm down.”\nMarina hugged her sister. “Aww, come on Aqua. I know how you feel, but you gave him his just reward and it’s not gonna happen again.” She raised her voice towards the cheetah. “IS IT?”\nCasey was shaking the water off of him when he heard Marina’s voice directed at him. “Ah…no…I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll keep my distance. I’m sorry.”\n“There Aqua. See? All good.” Marina turned towards the bunny. “And miss Annabelle? I’ve got something for you. This’ll allow you to breathe underwater just fine. Harold used it when we went exploring together first. So I got a few more for you and Casey.” She handed the masks to Annabelle and Casey and the rabbit bowed her head. “Why thank you Marina. This looks to be much easier than the diving equipment I had prepared. I think we’re pretty much set then to go?” \nHarold and Marina grabbed each other’s hands and looked at everyone. “Alright guys. Follow us. We’ll show where the sunken city and the artifacts are!”\nAs all five of them dove into the water, Harold was pretty sure he could feel J watching him again, but he decided to hold his mouth shut for now.\n\nWhen they dove into the waters, Casey and Annabelle were, first of all, baffled by how well the equipment worked that Marina had given them. Not only could they seemingly freely breath, but their vision was also perfect. Even talking seemed to be no problem when they tried to.\n“So Marina, how far is this area roughly?” Casey asked. She just wanted to prepare herself for the wonders of the underground city that would await her. She read a lot about the possibilities of underwater civilizations, but to find an old one would be quite the catch indeed.\nFrom rock to rock, they were followed around by J. The jelly frabbit kept a safe distance from the group to not be noticed and was for the most part watching Harold’s movements. Though the glimpses he got of the Aqua Sheep in the rear also flustered him a bit.\n\nAfter roughly twenty minutes the group had arrived at the site. The old underwater city was still as imposing as when Marina and Harold first had visited. Casey and Annabelle could scarcely believe their eyes when they saw the old ruins. The old underwater civilization did indeed exist and had been really flourishing. Every building they went in, they found traces of people having lived there. From ancient plates to storage areas and the art, though not as perfect as it was in its prime, was still fairly recognizable too.\nAs Marina, Harold, Casey and Annabelle were investigating the site, Aqua had been standing on guard duty, just to make sure there were no scavengers around with bad intentions. She had swum a bit higher and in a circle so she had a good view of the surrounding area, and she noticed some unnatural movement following Harold. When she got closer to the suspicious area, she could see some tentacles and a pale blue skin. The creature, a boy it looked like, got a view of her as well and yelped a bit before he swam off in the opposite direction, away from the site. Aqua was a bit disappointed, as she wanted to know who he was and what he was doing there, but soon resumed her guarding duties.\nIn the meantime, Annabelle and Casey had found an old library with a few salvageable scrolls and other paperwork. Though the language was quite a bit different than they were used to, even with Annabelle’s knowledge of languages, they did recognize a symbol that was prominently displayed in there. They just couldn’t immediately place it. \nWhen they all were together in a clearing within the ruins they discussed their options.\n“So, what do you guys think?” Marina asked excitedly.\n“I think it’s really cool! I had no idea this would be underneath the ocean surface!” Casey said.\n“That’s because you do not study as much as you should, master” Annabelle replied.\n“Heheh, but that’s why I have you, isn’t that right Annabelle?” \nThe bunny smiled and bowed slightly. When she looked up she noticed the necklace Harold was wearing.\n“Umm, mister Harold, may I take a look at that necklace please?” Annabelle asked. “There is something I would like to confirm. Though it would also be good if you just joined me to the library building over there. Master Casey, would you join us as well please?”\nHarold looked at Marina, who just nodded in his direction as she was talking to Aqua about the figure Aqua had spotted. So Harold, Annabelle and Casey once again visited the library.\n“Now where was it…” Annabelle opened and closed up the scrolls once more. “Ah, there it is! I knew I recognized the symbol.”\nHarold took a closer look at the scroll, and what he saw shocked him a bit. Right there was the exact amulet that was attached the necklace that Marina gave to him. \nAnnabelle started to explain. “This symbol has been reoccurring in a lot of these images and books. I believe the symbol in itself may be an integral part of the history that’s buried here. \nMaster Casey, the reason I asked you to come with us is because I would like to make an offer.” Casey nodded. “I know what’s going on when you get like this Annabelle. I can see it in your eyes. Just keep in mind what we have alright?” Annabelle bowed to her master. “Mister Harold, the discovery of this place alone will bring you lots of fortune, but I would like to offer you a sum of 100.000 dollar just for that amulet. “\nHarold was shocked. To think that this amulet that he had received from Marina would be this valuable. He doubted even she would know about it. He was a bit too stunned to talk normally. “Umm…well…I…this was a gift…and…umm…”\n“I see the offer has taken you aback right Harold? I must say, I am a bit shocked myself. If Annabelle offered that much, it must be special indeed. But I understand that if me and her are offering you this now is a bit too much pressure, especially if it was a gift from someone. \nTake some time to think about it. We only hope you can give us your answer today.”\nWith that, Casey and Annabelle looked at the various scrolls once more, while Harold groggily swam outside.\nAs the two sisters were gossiping about their surface friends, Marina spotted Harold coming back out. “Hey baby! So what did they want? You don’t look very good.” Harold looked at his girlfriend. “Do you recall the amulet you gave me? From your grandmother?”\n“Why yes, of course I do. You wear it all the time after all. What of it?”\n“Your grandmother was an explorer right?”\n“Yes.”\n“This…thing. It’s apparently important to this place. There are symbols of it in the books. Casey and Annabelle have offered to buy it from me. For 100.000 dollars.”\n“H---hundred thousand? That’s a lot! I think I know what to do.”\n\nAfter the group had looked into every building and statue, Annabelle and Casey gathered a few small trinkets they could carry before they all swam back to the shore. I’m sure master Casey would not mind.”\nAqua rolled her eyes at the sound of his name. “Look, I know he’s your master and all, but have you never thought about having days off? And I like it that way.”\nThey exchanged contact information and made some appointments for further investigations, but left it at that. \nMeanwhile, Harold and Marina made their way to Casey and set down in the sand near the cheetah. Harold was the one who spoke up first. “Casey, about that offer. I’ve made up my mind.” Casey sat up straight and looked at Harold. “Alright then, what’s your answer?”\nHarold took a deep breath. “I cannot part with this. This was the first gift my love gave to me.” He said as he grabbed Marinas hand. “Furthermore, this is a treasure from her grandmother. It has a lot of value to the both of us. I will not part with this.”\nCasey looked him in the eyes. “So that’s your final decision huh? I can’t say I’m completely surprised. I also have some things that I would never part with.” He said as he looked over in Annabelle’s direction. “But you do realize that I’m now sitting with a pouty maid in the car next right?” He smiled. “But without joking, I’ll pass the message to Annabelle. With luck the trinkets we recovered ourselves will give us plenty of information anyway. But will you allow me to come check it out if we can’t figure the stuff out without it?”\nHarold thought about it for a second. “As long as you can guarantee it gets returned to me immediately, I do not mind it to be investigated sometime. But for now I want to hold on to it.”\n“Alright, I’ll settle with that. As the twins locked eyes she blushed and quickly walked past him on the way to the downstairs bathroom. He just looked confused and went to the upstairs bathroom. After his toilet visit and a quick freshening up he went back to his girlfriend who was now sitting upright on her knees, waiting for him to come back. When he closed the door he jumped next to her, taking her with him with one of his arm. As they lay down on the bed once again they play wrestled a bit. Meanwhile, Aedre was back downstairs thinking about the past 24 hours. Aedre smiled at the sheep. “It’s really okay. I’ll have plenty of other friends to hang with if it is necessary. You two have fun together today. I know you had yesterd-“ She froze.
“Oh-ho? Did my sis hear us last night? Is that why you were so flustered earlier?”
“Well…what did you expect? All those sounds you two made last night. It got me a bit bothered okay? I’m…thinking of going to see Shane one of these days.
Harold nodded, “I’m sorry we didn’t take the lack of sound insolation into account. I didn’t know you would be so bothered by it. But are you sure Shane is a good idea? I mean…he’s been around. Shouldn’t you wait until you find someone you love?”
Aedre considered her brothers words. “I do understand what you are saying and when I see you two I can tell it’s different than the things Shane told me, but I just want to learn more and I feel more comfortable talking to Shane about it than with my own brother. It’s not like I’m going to throw myself at him. I just want someone to talk to first.”
“Alright. You are old enough to fend for yourself. I won’t stop you. But he’d better not disappoint you in any way, or he has me to deal with!”
Aedre smiled, “I know brother. You’re always there for me too. Now go and have fun with your girlfriend. I’ll clean up here.
Marina and Harold cleaned up their own plates nonetheless before they checked Harold’s phone. Apparently Casey had sent a message that he was already underway to the beach with his maid and would wait for them there.  

The young cheetah was sitting next to his head maid in a convertible. The wind flowing through his manes while he thought about the calls he had received. Apparently the things found by Harold were pretty old, so he brought Annabelle with him. Of course, as head maid and one of the few with a driver’s license in his staff she would be around anyway, but now she was needed for more than that. He needed her expertise.
As the cheetah was lost in thought, a stern voice brought him back to reality. “Master, we are approaching the beach. It looks like we will have to walk quite a bit before we get to the meeting place.”
Casey acknowledged the statement. “Thanks for the update Annabelle. I’ll go up ahead then. You catch up with the diving gear later. I’ll just scout ahead to see if the other are already here.”
As they parked the car and got out Annabelle tried to protest that idea some more, but Casey was already almost out of sight. She shook her head at her impatient master and grabbed the scuba gear before calmly walking towards the beach herself, following her master’s footsteps.
When Casey finally slowed down he took in his surroundings. The beach was still fairly quiet at this early time of day. He saw some people with their pets, throwing tennis balls around and a few kite surfers. When he got up a dune and had a good view of the complete environment he saw a blue figure standing alone near some rocks. A bit hidden from the general view. Judging by the description he received, he knew that would be where he had to go. He picked up speed again and dashed to the lone figure.
When he arrived he saw a lone female standing there and he called out to her. “Hey! Marina I presume?” The sheep turned her head towards him and answered. “No, not Marina. She’s my twin sister. I am Aqua. And you are?”
Casey reached out his hand and grinned. “The name is Casey Nicolai. I’m supposed to meet with Harold and Marina here. Do you know anything about that?”
Aqua nodded. “Marina should be here in a couple of minutes. She asked me to stand here to keep everyone around if she would be late. You’re the first to arrive.”
Casey stretched a bit and looked at the surroundings. Annabelle was nowhere to be found yet and with the stuff she’d be carrying it might be a while before she’d be here anyway. So that meant he was just alone with this cute girl. “So…you and Marina are twins? Do you also have a boyfriend?”
Aqua glared at him. “That’s quite a personal question to ask when first meeting someone.”
Casey scratched his head. “Well, I’m sorry, but you look cute. And I had to know. Just in case the two of us could be together sometime?”
“I have no interest in boys at the moment. And I’d advise you to not push this subject.”
Casey scooted a bit closer to Aqua, accepting this challenge. “Aww, don’t be like that. I’m just trying to small talk while we wait.” The two looking into each other’s eyes with different intent while waiting for the others.

Meanwhile, Harold and Marina were near the meeting spot on the beach as well. Marina said she would have to get something from home first but she’d be right back, so Harold was just strolling the side by himself. Greeting the passersby with their pets and throwing balls back when they got near him. He suddenly heard a splash nearby, but when he looked around there was nothing to be found. He thought he just had heard something, but when he wanted to get back he heard it again and he was sure he saw something slither too.
When he looked once more close at the surface of the water he could see a blurry image laying still. When he took a few steps he noticed the blurry image following him. He focused on his ears and when he heard something come out of the water he said, “Please come out. I know you’re following me.”
Slowly a blueish transparent image rose out of the water. Tentacles could be seen first as the figure came into view. Underneath it was a light blue rabbit-looking figure. It looked to be a male as he opened his eyes and looked at Harold.
A soft voice came out of his mouth. “I’m sorry for stalking you like this. I…was unsure on how to approach. I’ve been kinda watching you since I saw you swim with that aqua sheep. I never saw someone from the surface so close before so deep under water and the way you handled yourself in the water was…intriguing. I’ve been watching you now and you were one of the nicest characters on this beach with the way you handled all the other people too. I’m J by the way. I think they call us Jelly frabbits. Nice to meet you.”
J bowed his head and then extended his hand as well.  Harold looked at him and gave him a nod and a handshake too.
“Well, I’m glad you weren’t up to bad stuff at least. My name is Harold. But that time you saw me. That must’ve been when me and Marina were exploring right?”
“Marina? Is that her name? I’ve seen several aqua sheep before, but I’m not too good with names. They all kinda look alike to me…”
Harold chuckled. “Well, she does have a twin sister. So it could be that too?”
“Oh is that so? Well…perhaps I should pay more attention in the future then. But I’ll try to remember your name at least…Harold.”
“Hey, I’m actually on my way with meeting Marina and her sister, together with some other friends. Maybe you want to come and introduce yourself too?”
J scooted back a bit. “These other friends…are they from the surface like you too? “

A loud scream and splash of water was heard and seen coming from the direction of the meeting place. Harold turned his head towards the commotion as he could hear J jumping back into the ocean. He popped up above the water once more and said, “I’m sorry. But for now I’m not yet ready for more. I do hope I’ll see more of you later.” And as quickly as he had appeared, J had disappeared as well.
Harold sighed and turned towards the noise, picking up the pace a bit to see what was going on.

When Marina finally came back to the shore with a few oxygen masks she calmly made her way towards the meeting area. There was a bit of a ruckus going on and she was quite curious what made everyone so excited. “Hi everyone! Sorry I’m late! Hope you didn’t bore yourselves!” When she saw everyone, Harold was standing with Aqua talking to her about something and Casey was completely soaked. His manes all flat from what could only have been a large amount of water. Annabelle was simply being stoic and unpacking some oxygen tanks herself. Marina looked a bit confused at the scenario. “So…what exactly happened here?”
Aqua and Harold went up to Marina first. Marina could hear Harold saying something about apologizing and Aqua replying with “Well, he has to do it first!” When they got to Marina, Aqua was quick to relay the details to her sister. “So I was here first as you asked. And he –she pointed towards Casey-  was the second to arrive. Apparently he thought it would be a good idea to hit on me while we were alone. Even after I told him I’m not interested in boys yet. So he changed the subject, and we just chatted a bit, when he suddenly grabbed me by the butt! And I splashed him. Splashed him up good. He had to cool off.”
Marina snickered as she looked over at his boyfriend. “And where were you in all this?”
Harold scratched his head. “I met a new person at the shore and was talking with him. I didn’t get here until after Casey had been splashed. Aqua was kind of annoyed, so I’ve been mostly with her trying to get her to calm down.”
Marina hugged her sister. “Aww, come on Aqua. I know how you feel, but you gave him his just reward and it’s not gonna happen again.” She raised her voice towards the cheetah. “IS IT?”
Casey was shaking the water off of him when he heard Marina’s voice directed at him. “Ah…no…I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll keep my distance. I’m sorry.”
“There Aqua. See? All good.” Marina turned towards the bunny. “And miss Annabelle? I’ve got something for you. This’ll allow you to breathe underwater just fine. Harold used it when we went exploring together first. So I got a few more for you and Casey.” She handed the masks to Annabelle and Casey and the rabbit bowed her head. “Why thank you Marina. This looks to be much easier than the diving equipment I had prepared. I think we’re pretty much set then to go?”
Harold and Marina grabbed each other’s hands and looked at everyone. “Alright guys. Follow us. We’ll show where the sunken city and the artifacts are!”
As all five of them dove into the water, Harold was pretty sure he could feel J watching him again, but he decided to hold his mouth shut for now.

When they dove into the waters, Casey and Annabelle were, first of all, baffled by how well the equipment worked that Marina had given them. Not only could they seemingly freely breath, but their vision was also perfect. Even talking seemed to be no problem when they tried to.
“So Marina, how far is this area roughly?” Casey asked. Though he knew what her sister would do if she caught him, he could not help but admire the back view he was given of the…less strict of the sisters. Marina turned her body around and replied “It is a bit of a swim ahead, but enjoy the scene too. Maybe we’ll run into mister Tidal as well. He’s usually around the area as well. And he helped us back when Harold and I first found the area.”
As Casey enjoyed the view and grace of the persons in front of him, Aqua, guarding the rear of the group, was mostly admiring the bunny. The oldest of the group, the bunny looked quite different compared to the teens that were swimming in the ocean and carried herself with a lot of grace even in this underwater environment. But when she heard Casey call out to her sister, Aqua was snapped back to reality and kept a close eye on the cheetah boy and that he would not make another weird move. Grabbing her ass like that. Aqua still got a bit peeved at the thought of what happened at the shore, but for the sake of her sister she was holding back. Though she did not fully dislike the attention.
Meanwhile, Annabelle had swum a bit closer to Harold. The two were acquainted already and Annabelle was mostly interested in Harold’s first thoughts when he found this place. She just wanted to prepare herself for the wonders of the underground city that would await her. She read a lot about the possibilities of underwater civilizations, but to find an old one would be quite the catch indeed.
From rock to rock, they were followed around by J. The jelly frabbit kept a safe distance from the group to not be noticed and was for the most part watching Harold’s movements. Though the glimpses he got of the Aqua Sheep in the rear also flustered him a bit.

After roughly twenty minutes the group had arrived at the site. The old underwater city was still as imposing as when Marina and Harold first had visited. Casey and Annabelle could scarcely believe their eyes when they saw the old ruins. The old underwater civilization did indeed exist and had been really flourishing. Every building they went in, they found traces of people having lived there. From ancient plates to storage areas and the art, though not as perfect as it was in its prime, was still fairly recognizable too.
As Marina, Harold, Casey and Annabelle were investigating the site, Aqua had been standing on guard duty, just to make sure there were no scavengers around with bad intentions. She had swum a bit higher and in a circle so she had a good view of the surrounding area, and she noticed some unnatural movement following Harold. When she got closer to the suspicious area, she could see some tentacles and a pale blue skin. The creature, a boy it looked like, got a view of her as well and yelped a bit before he swam off in the opposite direction, away from the site. Aqua was a bit disappointed, as she wanted to know who he was and what he was doing there, but soon resumed her guarding duties.
In the meantime, Annabelle and Casey had found an old library with a few salvageable scrolls and other paperwork. Though the language was quite a bit different than they were used to, even with Annabelle’s knowledge of languages, they did recognize a symbol that was prominently displayed in there. They just couldn’t immediately place it.
When they all were together in a clearing within the ruins they discussed their options.
“So, what do you guys think?” Marina asked excitedly.
“I think it’s really cool! I had no idea this would be underneath the ocean surface!” Casey said.
“That’s because you do not study as much as you should, master” Annabelle replied.
“Heheh, but that’s why I have you, isn’t that right Annabelle?”
The bunny smiled and bowed slightly. When she looked up she noticed the necklace Harold was wearing.
“Umm, mister Harold, may I take a look at that necklace please?” Annabelle asked. “There is something I would like to confirm. Though it would also be good if you just joined me to the library building over there. Master Casey, would you join us as well please?”
Harold looked at Marina, who just nodded in his direction as she was talking to Aqua about the figure Aqua had spotted. So Harold, Annabelle and Casey once again visited the library.
“Now where was it…” Annabelle opened and closed up the scrolls once more. “Ah, there it is! I knew I recognized the symbol.”
Harold took a closer look at the scroll, and what he saw shocked him a bit. Right there was the exact amulet that was attached the necklace that Marina gave to him.
Annabelle started to explain. “This symbol has been reoccurring in a lot of these images and books. I believe the symbol in itself may be an integral part of the history that’s buried here.
Master Casey, the reason I asked you to come with us is because I would like to make an offer.” Casey nodded. “I know what’s going on when you get like this Annabelle. I can see it in your eyes. Just keep in mind what we have alright?” Annabelle bowed to her master. “Mister Harold, the discovery of this place alone will bring you lots of fortune, but I would like to offer you a sum of 100.000 dollar just for that amulet. “
Harold was shocked. To think that this amulet that he had received from Marina would be this valuable. He doubted even she would know about it. He was a bit too stunned to talk normally. “Umm…well…I…this was a gift…and…umm…”
“I see the offer has taken you aback right Harold? I must say, I am a bit shocked myself. If Annabelle offered that much, it must be special indeed. But I understand that if me and her are offering you this now is a bit too much pressure, especially if it was a gift from someone.
Take some time to think about it. We only hope you can give us your answer today.”
With that, Casey and Annabelle looked at the various scrolls once more, while Harold groggily swam outside.
As the two sisters were gossiping about their surface friends, Marina spotted Harold coming back out. “Hey baby! So what did they want? You don’t look very good.” Harold looked at his girlfriend. “Do you recall the amulet you gave me? From your grandmother?”
“Why yes, of course I do. You wear it all the time after all. What of it?”
“Your grandmother was an explorer right?”
“Yes.”
“This…thing. It’s apparently important to this place. There are symbols of it in the books. Casey and Annabelle have offered to buy it from me. For 100.000 dollars.”
“H---hundred thousand? That’s a lot! But…it’s my grandmother’s old amulet.”
“I know…I…I don’t know what to do.”
Marina gave him a big hug and laid her head on his shoulder and whispered. “Calm down. Just clear your mind and consider it on the swim back. I know you will have made up your mind then.”
Harold took a big breath and felt a lot less stressful with his girl being there to mentally support him. “Thanks Marina. I think I know what to do.”

After the group had looked into every building and statue, Annabelle and Casey gathered a few small trinkets they could carry before they all swam back to the shore. The trip back was fairly uneventful with Harold being a bit quieter than on the rest of the adventure and Aqua still being fairly wary of Casey eyeing her sister’s backside. As Annabelle gathered the small trinkets together and sorted them, she was joined by Aqua. “So what did you bring with you?”
“Oh, nothing too special. We will need some more tests to determine the age of all this and what it’s made of. It would be great if there was easy access for even more people down there to investigate. The big statues in particular I’d love to check out completely.”
Aqua gulped. “Well…at the very least I would not mind accompanying you underwater when you’d like to. Want to share contact info?”
Annabelle smiled. “This is pretty unusual, but sure. I’m sure master Casey would not mind.”
Aqua rolled her eyes at the sound of his name. “Look, I know he’s your master and all, but have you never thought about having days off? And do something for yourself?” Annabelle shook her head. “That’s a negative. Everything I want is with him. And I like it that way.”
They exchanged contact information and made some appointments for further investigations, but left it at that.
Meanwhile, Harold and Marina made their way to Casey and set down in the sand near the cheetah. Harold was the one who spoke up first. “Casey, about that offer. I’ve made up my mind.” Casey sat up straight and looked at Harold. “Alright then, what’s your answer?”
Harold took a deep breath. “I cannot part with this. This was the first gift my love gave to me.” He said as he grabbed Marinas hand. “Furthermore, this is a treasure from her grandmother. It has a lot of value to the both of us. I will not part with this.”
Casey looked him in the eyes. “So that’s your final decision huh? I can’t say I’m completely surprised. I also have some things that I would never part with.” He said as he looked over in Annabelle’s direction. “But you do realize that I’m now sitting with a pouty maid in the car next right?” He smiled. “But without joking, I’ll pass the message to Annabelle. With luck the trinkets we recovered ourselves will give us plenty of information anyway. But will you allow me to come check it out if we can’t figure the stuff out without it?”
Harold thought about it for a second. “As long as you can guarantee it gets returned to me immediately, I do not mind it to be investigated sometime. But for now I want to hold on to it.”
“Alright, I’ll settle with that. I’ll bring the news to Annabelle and I think it’s about time to head back home, isn’t it?”
They looked at the sun lowering and all got up. The boys heading out to Annabelle and Aqua while Marina looked at Harold, holding her hand up to her chest.
They said their goodbyes as Casey was forced to carry their unused diving equipment as Annabelle had sorted the trinkets from the underwater city. The cheetah suddenly being a lot less speedy than he had been the entire day. Aqua smirked at the sight before she turned to Marina. “So sis, are we heading home too? You’ve spent last night with him after all. We missed you a bit.”
Marina looked at her sister and replied. “You can go on ahead. But I’ll be home later. Me and Harold have something to talk about first.”
Aqua gazed in her sisters eyes and saw something she had not seen before. She had an idea of what was going on though. “Alright. I’ll head back and let them know you’re coming home later. And Harold…take care of her.”
With those last words Aqua dove back into the ocean and disappeared, leaving Harold and Marina all alone. Harold was a bit puzzled but felt the pull of Marina on his arm. “Come on. Let’s go to our spot.”

Moments later the two of them were in a cavern. The last remnants of sunlight still lighting up the area, giving it a magical look. Marina turned to Harold and asked him. “Do you remember? This was the place where we first met.” Harold nodded. “Of course I do. I was just looking for a secluded place to spend the day away from my family and found this. Harold found his way out of the cavern with the minimal lighting that was left and headed home as well. Contemplating everything that had happened today.

When Harold got home he found his sister watching some TV. He sat down right next to her and gave a big sigh. Aedre looked to her brother and asked. “So, found what you were looking for?” Harold looked in her direction and nodded. “Yeah…you can say that again. Even more than what I had hoped to find.” Aedre looked around. “You know, I was kinda expecting your girlfriend to join you today as well. After last night I was sure you would want to continue that.”
Harold blushed. “Well…who’s saying we didn’t?”
Aedre sat upright. “Wait, so you did it? Congrats brother. I know how much you had to restrain yourself for this. I hope it was worth it.”
