The otherwise eerie silence was being broken only by the soft moans of [b]Jeff (Scrobunny)[/b] as he sat in his hanging chair prison and a soft chilling breeze which was quickly sending shivers down Jeff's spine. As promised Gary [b](Lycanroc Midnight)[/b] had left him out for the night. It was to be the punishment for failure after all. No amount of wriggling or squirming was gonna get him out of this one, if there's one thing his mentor had drilled into his head it's that. Giving one last tug on his wrists yielded the same result as all the other times he's done it. The stocks remained in firm defiance to his attempts to shift them. He'd been so close too... if it wasn't for the trick question, if it wasn't for the tickling distracting him, if it wasn't for.... *BANG Jeff interrupting his own though process by banging his head on the nearby support beam.* \"Excuses! Excuses the lot!\" He yelled aloud trying to shake the the self defeating thoughts from his own head. All I can do is make excuses... UUGH... why am I distracted so easily?... *Gazing down at the book in the sand.* Maybe if I had all night...I could get somewhere. *In a regretful whimper \"Oh who am I kidding... I've had months already... Maybe I should just ask Gary to take me home...\" As another brush of icy wind swept through the air Jeff could only bow his head and try and get at least some sleep.\n\nSome time passes before Jeff feels a sudden jolt to the head. Reflexively he attempted to reach up to point of impact only to be swiftly reminded his hands are clamped in a pair of stocks. He must've nodded off but couldn't remember doing so. Had something even hit him or was that just the tail end of his dream? Being as tired as he was sleep tried to reclaim him quickly. It almost succeeded too if it wasn't for a second jolt to the head bringing Jeff round fully. This time a small stone had made its way from the point of impact, down into his lap. Looking around it didn't take Jeff long to find the source. From the darkness of the cave entrance glowed a pair of red eyes. Upon seeing them Jeff drooped his head once more.\n\n[b]Jeff:[/b]\nCome to mock me too? OK if I'm totally honest that's only one of the reasons but lets not get of topic haha. Last time you studied under me you were hopping all over the place. Too many distractions. In hindsight tickling your feet during the quiz was a tad unfair for the first session. I need to pace myself just as much as you do. You know I'm here for you. I'm willing to go again if you are. We can start fresh again tomorrow. If that doesn't work, then we try something else deal?\n\n[b]Jeff:[/b]\n*Feeling emotional*Deal! I dare say that's the longest string of correct answers I've gotten out of you all day haha!\n\n[b]Jeff:[/b]\n*Now free he plops to the floor and stretches.* No feeling guilty now after all I'm the one who got myself into this mess in the first place.\n\n[b]Gary:[/b]\n*Smirking* Now who's the one developing psychic powers ahaha.\n\nThe two share more laughs as Gary leads Jeff inside the cave. The two don't get that far in before Gary surprises Jeff with a dummy gag and gestures for him to put it on saying. \"Hush now. It's long past both our bedtimes. Be a good little bunny and put that on. Tonight I'm gonna make sure you sleep well.\" With the gag firmly in place and inflated the two switch to using only gestures to communicate after all no more needed to be said. The two get cleaned up before Jeff gets introduced to the sleeping bag he'd be spending the night in. He'd like to ask why not use the bed it's lying on instead but even if he wasn't gagged he'd remain silent out of respect. It's why he even remained silent as Gary pulled out a pair of fuzzy cuffs and gently bound his hands behind him. His feet were soon done too as he lay on the sleeping bag. Maybe it was just the fatigue, maybe it was just that the cuffs were comfy or maybe, just maybe it's because not-so secretly Jeff was actually enjoying it.\n[b]----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[/b]\nOk I had way more fun writing this than I expected to have. *Loudly* NOT WHAT? RUNNING? this is session one but you've already made up your mind on its outcome! *Pausing to calm down* Look I just don't want you to go beating yourself up so easily. That's what I'm here for! So you failed the first session. I'm certainly not giving up on you! I didn't last time either and like it or not you learned lots back then didn't you?
Jeff:
*Processing everything: I learned loads thanks to you. It's why you were my first choice of trainers when it came to trying again. I'm just...
Gary:
Too scared of failure right?
Jeff:
Ok did you develop psychic powers since I last saw you? Or am I really that predicable right now?
Gary:
*Wrapping his arm round Jeff's neck* I think that we both know the answer to that one hehe.
The two of them share a chuckle before getting back to business.
Gary:
Look I'm not asking you to give me a chance. I'm asking you to give yourself a chance. One of the reasons I insisted on tying you up this time is to stop you from chickening out. OK if I'm totally honest that's only one of the reasons but lets not get of topic haha. Last time you studied under me you were hopping all over the place. Too many distractions. In hindsight tickling your feet during the quiz was a tad unfair for the first session. I need to pace myself just as much as you do. You know I'm here for you. I'm willing to go again if you are. We can start fresh again tomorrow. If that doesn't work, then we try something else deal?
Jeff:
*Feeling emotional*Deal! And....Thanks!
Gary:
*Undoing Jeff's stocks* Hahaha stop! Your making me blush!
Jeff:
*Surprised* Wait your letting me go?
Gary:
Naturally! Last I checked you only missed the passing grade by one question. Since I'm pretty sure your after getting a few more right I say you passed! I dare say that's the longest string of correct answers I've gotten out of you all day haha!
Jeff:
*Now free he plops to the floor and stretches.* No feeling guilty now after all I'm the one who got myself into this mess in the first place.
Gary:
*Smirking* Now who's the one developing psychic powers ahaha.
The two share more laughs as Gary leads Jeff inside the cave. The two don't get that far in before Gary surprises Jeff with a dummy gag and gestures for him to put it on saying. "Hush now. It's long past both our bedtimes. Be a good little bunny and put that on. Tonight I'm gonna make sure you sleep well." With the gag firmly in place and inflated the two switch to using only gestures to communicate after all no more needed to be said. The two get cleaned up before Jeff gets introduced to the sleeping bag he'd be spending the night in. He'd like to ask why not use the bed it's lying on instead but even if he wasn't gagged he'd remain silent out of respect. It's why he even remained silent as Gary pulled out a pair of fuzzy cuffs and gently bound his hands behind him. His feet were soon done too as he lay on the sleeping bag. Maybe it was just the fatigue, maybe it was just that the cuffs were comfy or maybe, just maybe it's because not-so secretly Jeff was actually enjoying it.
