Once prepared his ascent began and despite the harsh winter conditions climbing the trail had proven to be rather more simple than Rii had anticipated and in no time at all he found himself at the mouth of the cave network. \"All of my training has paid off nicely, getting here was a breeze now that just leaves the cave.\" Taking a minute to peer inside Rii could feel a strong aura emanating from within. \"Wow that energy is crazy! At least it provides me with a beacon to follow hehe...\" Rii though to himself as he loitered around the mouth of the cave hesitant to go any further. Pushing aside these fears he began to explore the dark and dank cave, moving slowly and quietly so as not to disturb the colonies of Zubat that hung and fluttered around the ceiling. After what seemed like hours of wandering through the network of tunnels that wound their way through the mountain Rii finally came to a large clearing within the cave. The path began descending in a spiral around the perimeter as if it had been carved that way by some unknown force. The cold winter sun did little to illuminate the path either as it trickled through a scar shaped hole in the roof, bring along with it the sights and sounds of falling water droplets rolled down and fell into the abyss below.\n\nAs breathtaking as the sight was, Rii paid little interest to it his gaze instead transfixed on the origin of the powerful aura he'd been sensing. At at the base of the spiral path lay a pedestal and atop this Rii first laid his eyes upon Dexoys as it seemed to sit still as if to meditate. Not wanting to make his presence known just yet Rii dropped to the floor and began to crawl towards the edge to get a closer look while remaining hidden. \"Gulp* There he is!... Did he see me? UUGH this was a bad idea I never should've come here...NO! I can't let fear stop me now! I can't just walk away.\" Rill fights with his inner fears and thoughts as his courage seems to almost abandon him. Just as Rii was beginning to compose himself a strong, yet invisible force grabbed hold of him, stretching him out and lifting him off the ground and pulling him down into the abyss. Before Rii knew what was going on he found himself helplessly suspended mid-air mere feet from Deoxys who was now standing and glaring at him.\n\n[b]Deoxys:[/b] \n(in a booming voice) BOY! WHAT BRINGS YOU TO THIS PLACE!?\n\n[b]Rii:[/b] \n(frightened by this sudden turn in events and wriggling in a vain attempt to break free, before stuttering out in whimper) I...I..Came..ttooo see you.\n\n[b]Deoxys:[/b] \nANOTHER ONE WHO'S COME TO CHALLENGE ME...NO...SURELY YOU AREN'T THAT DIM WITTED TO THINK YOURSELF POWERFUL ENOUGH IN THAT STATE TO TAKE ME ON!? YOU SAY YOU'VE COME TO SEE ME, FOR WHAT PURPOSE THEN?\n\n[b]Rii:[/b] \n(taking a moment to gather himself before answering) Nnnooo I'm... too weak. I wish to learn from you. I recently got a request to do a Deoxys at somepoint and was feeling in the mood to draw but I don't see Deoxys as much of a captive as his design seems a tad to serious for it. This being why I decided to combine him with a Riolu who I've been meaning to draw for ages but I hadn't thought of anything decent to do with him until now. Deoxys proved to be a pain to draw but given how well the story turned out this may not be the last time we hear from these two:).
