Deep in the rainforest, Erdessa was observing some small beetles and other insects at night. She was a green avian woman with blue tipped feathers, and bright purple eyes. She wore brown short shorts which highlighted the bird’s rear, and she also wore a matching colored safari-themed shirt. 


She was an Entomologist studying the insects of this little known tropical rainforest. It was nighttime, and she decided to head back. As Erdessa looked around, she found the trail, and began making her way back, but she was still relatively far away from the cabin. It was starting to rain as well, small raindrops falling through the treeline and landing on her. 


Unbeknownst to her, something was lurking in the brush. It was so quiet, yet so large, able to remain silent while stalking its prey. Erdessa’s purple eyes glanced around, not able to see more than six feet around her with the flashlight. She heard cicadas everywhere, while most wildlife were asleep, as the more nocturnal fauna were likely coming out soon. 


Her flashlight was dimming slightly from her forgetting to change out the batteries from yesterday’s exploration, which only added to her worries. 


After some time, her flashlight was too faded to keep going. She pulled her backpack off her, and opened it to check for any batteries. As she was searching, she noticed something glistening on a nearby tree. At first she disregarded it, until she replaced the batteries and shined the torch on it. She stepped closer toward the tree, leaving her bag which was only a foot or two away. 


The tree had a strange, semi-translucent slime on it. It looked like saliva, but resembled translucent white slime. It grossed her out a little, but she figured that she could get a small sample to give to another researcher for analysis. However, as she turned around to grab her bag, she froze, noticing a tall silhouette rising from the brush! 


She shined the light on it, her irises shrunk as she gasped. In front of her, less than a car’s length away from her, was a gigantic worm-like creature staring at her, or at least looking in her general direction. It was long and slender, reddish orange in color with yellow tentacle legs that ended in nubs, and two large whip-like tendrils stood on top of its head like antennae. 


Erdessa had seen photos of Velvet worms, but they never grew to this size! It instantly clicked what the slime was, and she slowly backed up. It turned its head toward her, which made all the feathers on the back of her neck stand on end. She forgot her bag as she turned to run, trying to put as much distance away from her and it. 


As she was running, she only made it about ten feet before she felt something cold and sticky hit her left leg! It felt like a thick silly string which caused her to fall forward! 


“Ah!” She yelped in surprise, face planting into the dirt before she quickly tried to get to her feet, only to feel her left leg pull on the tough slime. The slime also caught one of her tail feathers, but she didn’t notice. She glanced back just in time for the invertebrate to fire more of its signature silly string at her! 


One rope of slime hit her lower back, the other aimed for her face which she instinctively turned away, allowing it to hit her neck! 


“Ugh! Ew..!” She thought, as the rope around her neck landed on her left shoulder as well, oozing down as even her left forearm was not spared from the entrapment.


“Ngh.. w-wait..!” She looked back, and realized in horror it anchored her leg to the dirt below, and it didn’t stop spraying its slime. She tried to crawl away as it shot ropes of translucent liquid at her, pinning her down as she felt her leg feathers grow ever so sticky. 


The slime tugged at her feathers as she tried to escape, causing a bit of pain, which she shut her eyes and yelled from it. 


“Someone! Help me! HEELP!!” As much as she hoped for someone to hear her, it was fruitless. The green bird’s eyes watered a little as she managed to crawl a little forward, smearing slime up her knees and even her elbows were covered in it. 


It fired one more round of slime, which covered her feet and rear, going over her back as well. She huffed, the sticky ropes getting harder to pull away from, Erdessa having to exhaust more energy to escape. 


With one more round of slimy silly string, her fate was sealed. Her body was pinned down by the sticky adhesive, making her yell and scream from the pain of her feathers getting tugged by every movement she made. She ended up falling forward, landing on her right shoulder as she felt the cool blanket over it, like tucking her in for her final night. 


Erdessa turned her head, lifting herself slightly, watching the descendant of one of Earth’s first life forms approaching the poor bird. The velvet worm didn’t need to rush, as she was now caught. Erdessa’s tears streamed down her eyes as she squirmed, trying desperately to crawl forward, but the slime just kept making it more difficult. Her hands were coated in the glue in her attempt to wipe it off, with all three of her tail feathers finally pinned down, only adding to her discomfort. 


Finally, after only a minute or two, the worm was now face to face with her butt. She was given a good look at its mouth, which for some reason lacked the tooth it was known to use to suck the fluid out of prey. The worm seemed to acknowledge her for a moment, despite the fact it was blind, before it faced her feet. She had wriggled her clawed toes briefly out of discomfort. 


It opened its mouth widely, its ringed mouth lacked any teeth, as it appeared to take her right foot. She tried to scare it off by trying to claw at it, grasping in an attempt to have her claws scratch it, but the worm only opened its mouth wider in retaliation. 


“W-What…?” Erdessa stammered nervously and fearfully, as the worm finally engulfed her foot. It was giving her a suction sensation on her skin. If she thought the slime was slippery and sticky, the inside was even worse. It had a weirdly velvety texture, but was laced with saliva and possibly the same liquid it shoots out. 


She kept screaming until her throat was horse. The velvet worm advanced up her leg, at first she was feeling hopeful, since her other leg was free and there was only a foot sized gap between her legs, and when the worm paused, it made her feel like the worm was going to let go. 


“H-Hey…” She asked, voice still recovering a little from her screaming fit, “I’m not worth it. Please stop…” 


Suddenly, its antenna lowered down to her left leg, touching it briefly before lowering carefully downward. Erdessa was a bit confused, before it quickly wrapped itself around her ankle! 


All her hopes disappeared in her mind, as her irises shrunk with terror. It began slowly lifting her ankle, and by extension her foot, over to its mouth, which had previously been sucking on her knee, which was now widening to try and accommodate the other. She whimpered as she tried to resist, pulling against its hold on her, her leg was mostly restrained, but it allowed just enough movement to help resist its attempts. 


Erdessa said to herself, “Come on…let go.” 


She thought if she could resist just enough, it could give up on her, but who was she kidding? After a few seconds, it pulled her closer and closer to its lips, before it had her foot in its entrance, but her toes rested on the outside of its mouth, trying to cling to any life. The worm’s other antennae lowered down, and began lassoing around the clawed toes. It pulled her foot away briefly before squeezing them, forcing them to close, and it quickly, for its speed, shoved her foot into its mouth. 


Erdessa shut her eyes and whimpered, the predator resumed advancing up her legs. It had her legs stuck in a pose with one knee lifted slightly as it made its way past her right thigh, slurping up the avian’s thighs before reaching just below her buttocks. 


She felt the inside of the creature, which, despite its sensual velvety insides, gave her no comfort and only made her cry out of helplessness. The velvet worm took its time, as it made it past her waist. 


Erdessa glanced down, not able to speak much from her cries, instead only silently sobbing to herself. She tried to call out again, but her voice was still healing. Unfortunately for her, the worm slid up her belly, she tried to resist by elbowing it, but the slime only allowed for pathetic struggles. 


As Erdessa watched it suck in her ribcage, she felt the lips just beneath her breasts, where she finally mustered the energy to scream out. 


As if the worm figured out what she was doing, it sped up its swallowing, engulfing her bust in quick succession, even catching her trapped forearm beneath her before reaching her shoulders, and then finally it started widening with her form, creeping up behind her head as she screamed out once again. 


Erdessa whimpered, as she felt the top of its mouth slide over the top of her head, before it slowly started closing in front of her eyes! 


“Noooo!!” She yelled, before it closed its lips over her beak. Only her left arm was out, and in less than a minute, it reached her wrist, sucking her arm in like a noodle. Erdessa was squirming and fidgeting inside the creature. It appeared that the inside of the worm was coated with the same slime that entrapped her. She whimpered as the slime was practically glued to her feathers. 


For a moment, the worm sat there, the prey inside spasming and wiggling a few more seconds, before her movements slowed down. Erdessa whimpered, wrapped in darkness as Erdessa tried to keep calm, as she held her eyes shut. The avian pondered on how she could escape, trying to think of her options. She began squirming around, vigorously wiggling while also trying to kick her legs, albeit feebly as her legs were stuck together with the adhesive.


She figured that since this creature swallows its prey instead of bites, she could induce sickness inside it, but the slime made it difficult to move in any significant way. 


After a few seconds, the worm began slowly crawling back into the brush, the only thing left was the slimy puddle beneath it, along with her bag nearby.

Erdessa had no idea how much time had passed. The stomach was hot, warm slime covering her, she held her eyes closed, as she heard nothing but liquidy sounds around her. Her body was still restricted from movement, however the slime around her arms loosened a little so she could tuck her arms into her chest. 


From the sensations and movement all around her, she realized her clothes were tearing away. Her tight shorts became much looser, and ragged, her shirt ripping, exposing her black bra. After a few minutes, even her matching panties were exposed to the slime covered stomach. 


It was then Erdessa realized something, her arms and legs weren’t restrained anymore, she squirmed a little, testing to see, or rather feel, if her body was still restrained from the slime it shot out earlier. Surprisingly, she wasn’t tied down anymore! 


She didn’t have enough strength to go full on war with the belly of the creature, but she had a tiny ounce of energy. She thrusted her hips back and forth, trying to push against the walls with her arms as she kicked her legs slightly, trying to get her claws to dig into the beast’s flesh, and trying to knee the inside of the worm as she struggled harder than before. 


She lowered her head, facing the wall of flesh below her as her arms pushed against it, before her body started to give out again. Her beak hit the fleshy wall briefly, before she passed out once more, falling into a coma…

The avian finally awoke. The first thing that hit her was the freezing air, as droplets of rain showered her, with slime flowing off her as if the rain was cleaning her of the substance. Her body was glistening from the rain and slime, like there were several layers of oil on her. Letting the water from the rain clean the slime off her eyelids, Erdessa finally opened her eyes. She was visibly uninjured, but was traumatized from the experience. 


She was panting, huffing from her intense struggle, but also her heart which was still racing harder than ever before. The bird just laid there, as she finally looked around her surroundings. She was still in the rainforest, except now it was the early morning. The area had a faint fog surrounding her with a few early birds chirping. 


Erdessa whined, from her terrifying experience, but also the fact that she’ll have to return home ass naked. She guessed that she must’ve been successful in causing indigestion, which made her relieved but also afraid it might come back. 


Fortunately, it was a purely nocturnal animal, so she was safe…for now.
