(Also since I couldn't resist drawin' this fella — he's just TOO DARN CUTE!!!)
I should note that Milo is from the animated series TMoAH so the character does not belong to me; but is still one irresistible skunk boi! Catch some of the episodes if you can on the good ol' interwebz, they're short.
THE SHORT STORY:
The gang is halfway through solving one mystery in the woods, when a random "sub-mystery" is suddenly created.
They get to a small clearing in the woods intermixed with dense bushes and shrubs. Someone hears a rustling noise — just some wildlife in the thicket, perhaps? Nothing to worry about. It is daylight after all.
Pacing and thinking through their current mystery, Milo eventually finds himself backed-up to the tall, thick bushes and brush. It's too dense to see through.
The rustling occurs again. Suddenly, some unknown kid (or possibly teenager?) pops out of the bushes behind Milo and abruptly de-pants & de-underwears him all in one fell swoop! Alfred, Camille and Cynthia were standing very close by and saw it go down!
Milo was caught completely off-guard. Wearing a loose set of pants today and not having a belt on, everything came right down much easier than it should have. Better wear more snug pants (or a belt) next time!
To make matters even worse, everyone had already been looking in Milo's general direction. Hearing his short scream, they turned directly to him and (unfortunately for Milo) all saw his flaccid "Magician's Wand" au-naturel for several seconds while he scrambled awkwardly to pull his pants back up, nearly tripping in the process. He couldn't cover it, needing both hands to fuss with the pants & undies. The whole ordeal was so clumsy, awkward, and embarrassing for him. He fumbled trying to get the pants and underwear back up quickly. The perpetrator somehow twisted and tangled them on the way down.
Milo turned around, just not fast enough — the perp was mysteriously gone and the damage was done. His frontal embarrassment remained.
He finally got his pants and undies back up after after almost tripping a second time. Shaking his head in disappointment, he reflected internally "Well, now everyone knows what my thing looks like I guess.... sigh."
The laughing from Alfred & Camille (and scolding from Cynthia) continued until Milo retorted "Hey, quit mocking unless you want to see more of it! Sheesh!"
After he got decent, recollected himself, and things calmed down he asked the group "Who the heck did that!? Where'd they escape off to? Grrr..."
Everyone shrugged, having neither recognized nor seen the perp long enough before he (or she?) quickly ducked back into the dense brush, perhaps never to be seen again.
But it wasn't Alfred, Camille or Cynthia .... so who dunnit!? The group agreed they'll have to solve yet another mystery in parallel with what they were already working on... Milo wished they'd just forget about it and drop the case, remaining embarrassed the rest of the day while they exhausted all leads, to ultimately leave this sub-mystery unsolved, for now...
