Things have improved a lot since their mother met their stepfather, and while she was initially suspicious and untrusting of their stepfather, Mereleen has come to realize he is truly authentic and cares for her, her mother, and Melecia. Since then, she has warmed up to stepdad quite a bit ! Stepdad silently wishes Mereleen would clean up her image a little bit, but he fully understands her situation and what created it, so he gives Mereleen a lot of patience and respects her personal choices, being patient in that he knows she will come around eventually and that she will hopefully fully open back up one day.
