"writing": "Miss Nightfang’s Estate for Wayward Youth\nPart 1: Eschew the Joke\n\n\n\n“The afternoon shadow had cast over a high model car sitting outside a grocery store. A young aquatic girl not much older than 14-15 pushed gently against the car's trunk. A small buzzing, like electricity, hums through the entire car if one simply listens. And just as suddenly as the humming started the girl smiled; 'click' went the trunk and inside slipped the girl, awaiting the returning patrons of the store. But this wasn't just any customer; Selene Nightfang is not just any woman. You see, that girl was me. And Miss Selene? Well... She helped me and my \"family.\" Before her school proper, before the donors. Before all that success, Miss Selene gave her first lessons. We were the first students and we are indebted to her, forever.\"\n\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\"But Mommy?\"\n\n\"Yes sweety?\"\n\n\"I'm not in this story, am I?\"\n\n\"Nope sweety... you have your own story, know why?\"\n\n\"No mommy, why?\"\n\n\"Because, sweety. You're gonna grow up better than mommy did. You'll have your own adventures and make your own mistakes. And when the world comes crashing down... All that mommy's learned from Miss Selene will be here in my arms to hold you. Now lets talk about what you did then I’ll finish my story. \"\n\n\"Yes, ma’am.\"\n\n\"Was it fun to push Susanne into the brick castle?\"\n\n\"N-no mommy. I laughed but it didn’t feel funny.\"\n\n\"Of course sweety. Hurting others for fun never, ever, feels right or fun. That’s why I’m telling you this story.\"\n\n“Yes mommy, I won’t interrupt anymore.”\n\n“Good girl, now where was I? Oh yes…”\n\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\nOur lives aren't always as fanciful as we recant them, but in this case this story is true, or most of it. When I was a very young girl I was lost in this world. Being the person I am, many lost souls gathered to me. It wasn't enough that I myself was a starving girl living on what I could scrounge... Now I was a \"mommy\" and had to desperately provide for more than myself. I'm not ashamed to admit I did what was necessary.\n\n\nIn the darkness of the back alley of every bar, every night club, and every gentleman's den... That's where I was. Turning tricks for meager cash. It wasn't glamorous and many of the men never gave a second thought to who I was; I must have been \"just another addict\" to many of them. I don't blame them either. If the me of today met the me of then, I too would probably over look her; had it not been for the week where everything evaporated.\n\nSeveral new city ordinances were put into place, they lit every back alley and side street to get people like me to stop our \"profession\"; at thirteen, half living isn't a profession, it's a necessity. It had been 3 days with no food in the abandoned shack where my family lived... We were desperate... I was desperate. That's what made me decide to do it. I was going to steal.\n\n\"Mom you get so much! Most of this we can't even eat!\" said a lightly colored tan bat, not much older than seven or eight.\n\n\"It's fine Harmony; you never know when we'll have company other than ourselves, right Rhapsody?\" replies a much older and elegant looking female bat with chocolate brown fur.\n\n\"Huh? Oh yea... Sure mom.\" said a darker colored auburn bat her head rather occupied by a most intriguing book, From the Earth to the Moon.\n\nI closed the trunk a little more hoping they wouldn't notice, sniffing. We Zora don't have long noses for nothing. I could tell what \"Harmony\" had meant; a bag alone full of fresh fruits, veggies and a veritable treasure trove of \"junk\", as well as a sack of tightly wrapped butcher wraps. Beef? Yea, raw, prime cuts by the scent of lighter chemicals meant to ensure flavor over preservation... and, blood? Yea. That had to be blood sealed tightly in small plastic canisters. I knew which bag to go for, which way to go, and how fast I was gonna have to run.\n\n\"Rhapsody? When you die can I get you name tattooed on my nether?\" Harmony chirped.\n\n\"Huh... um sure, wait what?\" Rhapsody said, looking up from her book\n\n\"Too late you can't take it back now! hahaha!\" Harmony reveled in this playfulness\n\n\"Girls calm down. It’s gonna be a long week for your mother and I dare not wish to be nagged every hour by more than just one inconvenience.” The elder bat said in a very calm and polite voice as she clicked the lock for the trunk. I let it go and just as I grabbed the bag she caught my hand without looking.\n\nI was struck with horror; the terror clear on my face as all the two girls looked at me with a glare I could only ever describe as a mix of rage and intrigue, but their mother… She just looked to me, her face still calm and collected as she watched me. She kept them at bay without even saying a word. Struggle as I might I couldn't break free something told me. I could if I let go of the bag, but it was too important to me. My clothes tatters and shredded, years old shoes sizes too small near unstitched from the sole. I looked up into deep purple eyes of the mother bat that glowed almost as deep as my teal eyes. I shuddered at the thought of being their next \"Prime meal\"; but that's when I couldn't focus anymore and everything went dark. I saw only the purple in this beautiful bat's eyes. It filled my vision, my body, and my soul. I couldn't see anything but I could think and in those thoughts I almost envied her girls. Fed, clothed, and loved, most importantly loved. My poor little collection... we'd never have this ever.\n\nI didn't realize it for several minutes but when my mind was finally able to realize I was free, there it was the bag, left just beside me. I grabbed it quickly and looked about. ‘W-when did I leave the parking lot?’ I mused to myself while finding myself in the grassy park just beside the grocer. It didn't matter... I had the bag... I had food... This HAD to last us. The veggies had to go first then all the junk food... I never remembered the bag feeling this heavy? Canned goods and a can opener? Have I been losing my senses?\n\nIt didn't matter I had to run... They needed to eat... all of them. I ran across the park and over several streets. Corners and back alleys once unpleasant or cruel now lit by the light of day had cleaned parasites like me away. I got to our home in under an hour... a record. Opening the door with a huff I smiled as six children ranging in ages from 6 to 17 looked at me with glee.\n\n\"Mommy’s home, my loves and tonight we get to eat like a real family.\" I said with a labored sigh of relief as all six rushed me for hugging. I smiled as I hugged and kissed each one in return.\n\n\"Julia. Fetch me some water, Mark bring me your knife. Danny? Can mommy borrow your hat?\"\n\n\"Yes mommy!\" the joyous cries erupted.\n\nDanny's hat was a pot, the poor bunny, only eight years old, was wearing as if he were a soldier or space man. He was wearing it when he found me running from something \"bad\" as he had put it.\n\nMark was the oldest, older than even me, but he thought of me the most as a mother. When he found me he was wounded. Stray cats get in many fights and he was no exception. I did as best I could to bandage most of his wounds. Poor sweety, his face will never fully heal from the cut. \n\nJulia... She's a tricky one, but what little magpie isn't? At only 10 she seems to be as lost as I was. I still have no clue how she got there but when she found me she had just taken nothing more than a shiny tin can from the house. Now all her treasures are with us.\n\nDustin is a very shy gecko and the youngest child at only 6. He keeps to himself for fear of... well we've never really discussed what, but he is afraid of something. When he found me he had just lost his tail for the third time in his life. I had to hold him tight and sing to calm him down. Now he knows not everything is out to get him.\n\nHedas and Taelz are Paternal Twin raccoons, polar opposites... at age 13 they're always fighting. But when mommy is home they seem to be on best behavior. Hedas, the girl, loves to play word games on Taelz while Taelz, male, is more of a practical joker. When they found me they were going to try and game me out of dinner little did they know mommy's been a tad more educated.\n\nThis was my family and they are perfect. It doesn’t matter what I look like at this point because tonight we get to have veggies: Sliced, cubed, and quartered bell peppers; a head of lettuce, one nearly perfect leek, a few potatoes, and a tomato. For dessert... sliced apples. In the pot goes the water carefully I cut the vegetables spooning them from the knife into the pot; once they were all inside the children watched as I picked up the pot. That same hum of electricity that I used to pick the lock of the trunk now running through my hands as it coursed through the pot, intensifying in the water, bubbling... boiling...cooking the veggies into a mushy soup. Their eyes filled with wonder at mommy's \"cooking\" I set the pot town and passed out the spoons.\n\n\"Dig in loves, plenty for everyone tonight!\"\n\n\"YAAY!\" They're really good kids... They just need a chance.\n\nThat night, with full bellies and soft yawns, we really did feel like a family. We never realized how much better our lives were going to get. The next morning the shack shook as a small chartered bus pulled up just outside.\n\n\"Is there a 'mommy' here?\" said a heavy-set bear with an almost overly friendly tone, Canadian? \"I'm supposed to be picking up 'mommy and her family.'\"\n\nI hesitated, leaning onto the door as the children cowered in the rear, holding our \"fire exit\" ready in case I gave the signal, \"Who wants 'mommy and family?'\"\n\n\"A Miss Nightfang said on the phone she hoped you enjoyed dinner and that she wished you to not forget how much you wished for a real family in her purple eyes?\" The bear sighed obviously confused, but honest \"Look ‘mommy' if you don't wanna come I’m just supposed to report back to HQ for a return call to the customer otherwise I’m to take you to her address. It’s a big ritzy mansion. Looks like 50 people could live there easily. Who knows she may even have beds in every room, whada ya say, eh?\"\n\nI shook my head to the kids. No... This couldn't be a trap. It didn't feel or smell like one. Lies are easy to sniff out. Slowly I opened the door and looked outside \"I’m 'mommy,' but I'm also called Jaiya.\" \n\n\"jie-yah?\" the bear looked back at me with a smile. No malicious intent on his body or in his scent, I nodded. \"Well come on, hop in and bring the 'family.' Miss Nightfang said you kids needed more than just veggies.\"\n\nTo this day; I'm not sure why, I'll never know why, but something in my head pleaded with me \"trust this, trust this.\" it wasn't more than a few minutes to get everyone strapped in tight before we set out and everything changed.\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\nAlong the way I handed out small portions of assorted chips to every one of my little ones. The bear smiling as I even passed out some to Mark who also called me “mom.”\n\n“When did you get the time to gather a family, Miss Jaiya?” the bear asked, clearly intrigued as he continued driving.\n\n“A mother doesn’t gather a family… A family gathers to her.” I looked back at him, offering some of the assortment. \n\nHe kindly turned it down and chuckled, “You’re right about that. It’s been a while since I’ve seen my own mother. I should visit her.”\n\n“Does she live around here?” I asked, rather curious. I wasn’t prepared for his answer.\n\n“Not exactly… in fact she doesn’t exactly live at all anymore. She died a few years ago.” He said as tears well in his eyes. I couldn’t help it; I reached over and gingerly massaged his arm and nodded, my mind running a mile a moment as words began to just pour from me…\n\n“It’s okay sweety, mommy’s here. Mommy’s here… She didn’t mean to hurt you.” The bear, wiping away tears chuckled amusedly while also sighing comfortably.\n\n“That Miss Nightfang was right yea? You really don’t deserve to be in that little place. You’ll find plenty of room at her house.” He nodded, matter-of-factly.\n\n“Mommy?” Danny squeaked out from the back seat, “How much longer is it… I really gotta go pee-pee.”\n\nI blinked a bit at the question, not knowing myself, before looking to the bear that simply chuckled and pointed at the mansion. I have no clue what Miss Selene’s job was before she came to own her school but it was one that defiantly set her off into luxury. It really was as huge as the bear had made it out to be and we were already, and only, just beginning to turn into the driveway.\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\n\nGetting the little one out was the easy part. Getting poor Danny to the restroom? Never happened. As we stepped to the door it opened by itself as if expecting us, even the bear, who had introduced himself as Harry Mason, took pause at this.\n\n“Mommy… I don’t have to go to the bathroom anymore.”\n\nStunned myself, I responded the only way I could, “It’s okay sweety. Mommy’s a little frightened too. We’ll clean you up later.”\n\nInside the foyer things were just as ominous. The room itself was well lit and seemed in perfect order but it felt that, just out of sight, danger could be lurking. I lined my little ones up in order from age and stood in front of Dustin, his fear high as he held tight to my leg. It was then Miss Nightfang stepped forward from the darkness, passing us all by as if we weren’t there. Her hand outreached to tip Mr. Mason for his job. When he was gone she walked back just to the edge of the shadows and turned to face us all.\n\n“I’m glad you accepted my invitation. You’re the first house-guests I’ve ever had in this house. I’m not sure what to expect of each of you yet. But I welcome you to your new home, for the time. I want to lay some ground rules before we get you all settled…”\n\nShe listed a number of things left and right, curfew, meals, manners… punishment. I shook my head, ‘This was a mother? How could she ever hope to raise anyone by punishing them for every mistake?’ I thought as she looked at me, staring, as if knowing what I was thinking. I nodded back at her that I did disagree and she simply smiled, showing off all her teeth sharp and pointed, sparkling and almost illuminated in the darkness, still listing rules and punishments. That smile frightened Dustin more as my leg started to tingle, falling asleep.\n\nGetting everyone sorted into separate rooms was easy. But the night was difficult. I found myself wandering the halls, my teal eyes glowing in the darkness like alien headlights as my natural night vision showed me why I felt justified fearing the shadows of the house. In every corner were stuffed feral animals of many species, crows, bats, cats, deer, fish… But every once in a while, and I didn’t realize at the time, were dusty devices of pleasure and pain. Looking back it was all too clear this house had to belong to someone obviously in need of many services, sex just one of them. There were even dried blood stains on some. Whoever had owned this house before Miss Nightfang, they must have been really naughty, demonic almost. Still, in this house, it was this first night I literally bumped into Miss Nightfang. Turning to view me the conversation didn’t start out as I expected.\n\n“Ah Miss Jaiya, You disagree with my methods?” She said in a calm tone, as she looked over me.\n\nI stood still, expecting to be punished for violating curfew before she turned her head, interested and intrigued at what I have to say. My words were quiet but got stronger as I spoke, “it- It’s not right… to punish them outright for every little thing. You’ll frighten them from the world, a world that can be cruel, but can be so loving as well.“\n\n“Perhaps you’re right. But would they not still be punished in the long run? Wouldn’t the decision to do the wrong thing sneak up from behind and arrest them? Or worse, murder them?”\n\n“I- I…” I couldn’t respond. I may have understood but I was still so young. Knowing what I do today I know the perfect response but back then; my, my how small I felt. Like Miss Nightfang was judging me, telling me I had no right to be a caretaker for my little family. But that didn’t stop my determination. Balling my fists I looked up at Miss Selene with a harder glow in my eyes. “Then let me take it. Let me… take their punishments.”\n\nMiss Selene simply quirked her head, “you’re offering your body to take their pain?” her tone changing from the eerie calm to sounding truly intrigued, maybe a hint of seduction as well.\n\n“No… I’m offering to be their mother. With all the joys and pains that come with it. Surely you know what it is to need to protect your girls. I need to protect my family too, even if it’s from the pains you may visit upon them.”\n\nMiss Nightfang smiled, as soft musical giggle accompanied her voice as she nodded. “I agree to your terms on one condition… They have to see it. Each punishment viewed by the criminal, agreed?”\n\nI nodded. Had I known then what I know now. I still would have nodded. Miss Nightfang unfolded her arms, her wings that she kept folded up against them unfurled as she opened her hands fully; letting her wings fall, looking almost as velvet curtains, as she offered a hug, “As one mother to another, let us seal this deal with a hug.”\n\nI reached my arms out gently wrapping them around her waist. My body froze in the hug. My mind flooded with things I couldn’t understand. Images I still don’t see quite clearly. Above it all was Miss Nightfang’s voice, soothing but firm “You have made a choice, time will tell if you regret it or not. I hope you are prepared for the days ahead.”\n\nMy body shook as I was able to let go. “W-what are you Miss Nightfang?”\n\n“Please, as one mother to another, call me Selene.”\n\n“Yes, Miss Selene.”\n\n“As for what I am, I am simply a woman, who wishes to make a difference in this world of ours. I know how it is out there, and my life was changed once through a similar experience; now I simply pay it forward. Remember this for the days to come, for all you will have to suffer, all the torment you will get put through for protecting your children from themselves; it will be worth it. Things will be better for everyone in the end, I promise.” She whispered in my ear, her words both reassuring and scary at the same time. \n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\nSeveral days had passed without incident. A few trips here and there and everyone had their own assortment of clothes… NEW clothes, even shoes. Such a wonderful gift made them more well behaved than simply wanting to behave. After the “new” wore off some fell back into their old habits, Hedas and Taelz first. \n\nI mostly kept the kids occupied with a number of books from the library. A bit of a teacher and a lot more of a learner as I read history and fantasy to them, I myself learned of things I never knew… The Plague, a terrible blight that no one could escape… The New World, a land of promise but one that was bought in native blood… And then the fantasy… Hanging on my every word the children were spell bound by classics such as The Time Machine or The Magician’s Nephew… They really are good kids, or they tried to be….\n\nAbout a week after arriving Hedas and Taelz had become fascinated with the suits of armor that lined the halls. Hedas and tales hatched a plan to scare poor Dustin senseless. Everything was set and in the Foyer Taelz climbed into one of the suits, Hedas running off to get Dustin to see this “shiny stone.” Miss Selene was just finishing some sort of conference and was exiting a room on the second floor when she spotted Hedas practically begging Dustin to follow her. Intrigued she stopped and watched as Dustin passed the armor. \n\nTaelz roared and groaned, shaking the suit as Dustin looked up his body went limp, falling to the ground and coving his face. Taelz continued shaking the suit as suddenly the giant sword on the right side slid loose and swung downward with a squelching thud. Dustin’s hands fell as his eyes burned in a dull almost non-existant pain, his mouth not even able to scream as tears welled in them. Again, Dustin had lost his tail.\n\nHedas and Taelz we so busy laughing by Dustin’s fright they never noticed his tail being lobbed off or that in that time Selene had joined their giggling, her melodic voice blending with theirs until she stopped, seeming to suck all the laughter from both their voices as she did.\n\n“Amazing. Simply amazing. This is your best joke to date.” She said looking to Dustin who was even more afraid now; everything in him wanting to freeze but something telling him to run. He ran straight upstairs and down halls he’d never dared venture before. \n\nSelene then turned to Taelz who had just climbed out of the suit and saw Dustin’s tail, panicking, “Y-yea! G-great… Umm S-sis? I think we went too far.” He quipped rather quickly, pointing to the sword to which Hedas looked over and upon seeing Dustin’s tail gasped and stood back, looking up to Miss Selene in a knowing horror.\n\nSelene giggles in her soft hypnotic melody as she comforted the twin coons. “What? I thought it was great! In fact I have an even better joke. I’ll come get you when it’s all set up then we can all laugh and enjoy it. Alright?”\n\nHedas and Taelz simply nodded looking to one another and wondering if they really did just get off the hook, smiling to each other as Miss Selene walked away. “That was close.” They said in whispered duplicate.\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\nDustin ran. It was that simple. Fear and pain on his face, tears dripping from his soft, innocent eyes, Dustin ran. He ran and ran until his feet could no longer carry him, the adrenaline of his fear waning thin. The halls seemed to go on endlessly as he ran. But with the last pit of strength in him he suddenly plowed into Harmony. In fear and dread he dropped to the floor, no longer bound to that word that had him scampering through endless corridors. Harmony, whose back was turned at the time, huffed as she spun around, curious as to what or who had assaulted her. Seeing Dustin on the floor shaking she smiled and nodded\n\n“Hello down there. How’s the weather?” She giggles with her mother’s same melodic tone making him tremble even more. She giggled a little louder as she petted his head, Dustin’s eyes covers by his hands. “You know bats normally eat little lizards.”\n\nIt was here that Rhapsody looked up from yet another book, War of the Worlds, noticing Dustin. “Sis if you go any further you’ll kill him from sheer fright.” She said bluntly before returning to reading again.\n\n“Aww… I don’t mean to tease. I’ve just never seen anyone so scared.”\n\n“That may be true, sis. But he’s not normal either. Everything is cause to fear for him, can’t you see that?” Rhapsody says setting the book to the side for the moment, having the same analytical eyes as her mother just as Harmony seems to have their mother’s voice, studying him a bit before returning to her book. \n\nHarmony looked at the poor Gecko this time, really looking. She hung her head a bit and reached to help him to his feet. “I’m sorry Dustin. I didn’t mean to scare you. But… Why are you up here?”\n\nDustin who by now was just short of relieving himself instinctively grabbed his tail and stroked the now healing nub, piping in with a small, insecure voice. “Four… I lost it again. Hedas made me lose it. The armor was alive… I was so scared.”\n\nHarmony nodded and hugged the gecko. “My mommy and your mommy will fix it.”\n\nDustin shuddered as Harmony hugged him, fearful but also comforted. “Mommy always tries to fix it.” He said, looking down his large eyes again filling with tears. “Mommy could get hurt too.”\n\n“Yes, but our mommy gets results.” Harmony giggled playfully before she gently tugged the poor boy into her shared room. It was almost like a Common area, no beds or means of rest but doors on either side. Of course Dustin ignored all this, focusing solely on the large stuffed bore’s head over a small fireplace that was unlit making him shudder again. \n\n“Aw, scared of an old dead head?” Harmony teased before she blinks and shakes her head softly “Sorry…” she apologized, realizing her error almost as soon as she made it.\n\nRhapsody chirping again, “You can’t expect him to relax if you keep that up sis. He’s fragile… like a glass ornament.”\n\n“Right sis, I’m sorry. I just can’t help it… he’s not used to any of the things we are.” \n\nDustin looked down at his feet and wiggled his toes a bit, feeling like an intruder when Harmony finally eased his mind, “Dustin? You’re welcome in here anytime. Just call one of us and we’ll lead you here. This place is for you to hide. Mister Boar up there will scare away anyone that tries to come in and frighten you, m’kay?” Dustin nodded, feeling oddly better now that his ordeal was finally over, still mindlessly rubbing the nub of his tail.\n\nRhapsody put her book down again, some things were more important than a pursuit of knowledge. She looked from Dustin to Harmony and then waved her sister over. She huddled with her and started to explain something that the boy couldn’t hear, their voices seeming to talk in tongue not easily understood by most. After a few moments of talking they broke apart; Harmony returned to Dustin’s side, “Dustin? Sis and I have thought of something wonderful for you. Would you like to see it?” \n\nDustin’s state of mind fractured by this point simply nodded as he continued stroking the nub then let it go in horror as it started glowing, bumping into lighter bat girl who smiled and nodded, a white aura starting to flow off her body and the gecko’s tail. “Just watch it.” She said as the nub began to wiggle, a worm of a tail-tip emerging from it before extending and growing encompassing what portion was remove and a little more. Dustin’s eyes sparkled as he chirped happily, more tears in his eyes, confusing Harmony who suddenly received the strangest hug of her life, the gecko wrapping his arms around her and his tail reaching to rub her side almost thankfully,\n\n“Thank you ‘sis.’” He said out of a lack of anything else to think of. \n\nHarmony, stunned looked to her sister who gave a soft smile and giggled softly, “Just remember to feed and pick up after him.” She teased playfully before returning yet again to her book.\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\n\tI smiled, she sat in a small study stacked with books. I was at a desk, reading and taking notes on the book, Animal Farm. It was interesting and somehow I felt it was important to read this. As I got to an unsettling part, an unexpected knock came from the door causing me to leap from my chair. “Yes?” I squealed politely in as much strength as I could muster from terror. “Come in, sweety.”\n\n\tIn walked Miss Selene. Her body seemed calmer that she’d seen before; it was what made me realize the gravity of what was about to be said. In her melodic tone she acknowledged my fear. “It’s time for punishment, Jaiya.”\n\n\tI looked up and nodded, “What happened, if I may ask?”\n\n\t“Hedas and Taelz tried to play a joke. They scared Dustin, but took it too far when they cut off his tail.” The elder bat replies simply.\n\n\tI gasped and stood back, my hands over my mouth; So many thoughts going through my mind. ‘Was she going to cut me… and make them watch? Was I even going to see it coming? Poor Dustin! Why him? He’s already so scared….’ Her eyes hit the floor like a lead anvil, “I see… I’m ready then.”\n\n\t“Are you? I’m not so sure you are.” She said as if teasing me with the ability to deny being punished.\n\n\t“I can’t say ‘no.’ I made a deal, Miss Selene.”\n\n\t“Very well then, follow me. I’ve set everything up already.”\n\n\t“Yes ma’am.” I said, following the bat’s soft sway down the hall. I didn’t look about, keeping my eyes on the floor. It wasn’t until Miss Selene stopped that I noticed the darkness around me. Miss Selene’s eyes shine in the dark as she patted a table and then walked over to one of the walls.\n\n\t“Hop up on the table and I’ll get you settled in.” she said. While it felt like she was trying to be comforting it only came off sounding even more sinister. Selene began to gently undress me, removing each article of clothing and neatly putting it to the side, before helping me up on the table. Once up there, she began to strap my legs, arms, and waist down in metal clamps that sealed with a magnetic mechanism; again that air of comfort stung with sinister purpose, “These are meant to make sure you stay put. I’d be using it on them if you hadn’t already agreed to take their punishment.”\n\n\tMy mind staggered like a drunkard through desert heat. There was so much she wished to ask, and wondering If she was so sure that i was doing the right thing, “I..”\n\n\tMiss Selene had been attaching weird shapes all over my body. Nipples clamped in with small metal rings… Neck, underarms, inner thighs, legs, arms all pressed a cold, gooey, circle. As I tried to speak, the bat nodded as if knowing somehow, “Ask any manner of questions you wish. Some I can answer. Some you will experience.” She said as her two gripping fingers began to touch my most sensitive of body parts, those between my light blue legs. Running along it, it felt like she was studying more than exploring. And at first that was probably true, until she started looking for the most delicate part of any girl, the clitoris.\n\n\t“Are… Are they watching this now, is this the punishment?” I asked, my eyes still filled with such darkness. She couldn’t help but look at the wall in shame, wondering what sheer madness would make sexual exploring a punishment.\n\n\t“No I’m only prepping you for the punishment” She says as a finger slipped inside my cunny causing my body to jerk as I winced, the room seeming to get smaller for her.\n\n\t“T-then you’re torturing me down there, right?” I asks biting my lip afterwards as Selene continued her search.\n\n\t“No I’m looking for the last location to place a lead.” She said when her finger hit something she did not expect. Gently caressing at it and pressing it, it began to push forward. My body began shaking as I tried to stifle a moan and being only partly successful.\n\n\t“L-lead? W-what are you going to do to me?”\n\n\t“I’m not. They are.”\n\n\t“Hedas?”\n\n\t“And Taelz, yes,” She nodded.\n\nI moaned again as the bat coaxed more from me. Me, seeming to have been hiding something, as what seemed to be my clit started to press outwards, growing and thickening into a somewhat mushroom shaped penis, standing out from the slit. I quivered and blushed, trying to hide it.\n\n\t“You are a very special person Jaiya. This is fascinating. I know this is punishment but I would like to see you later and talk about this if… if you’re okay with that” Selene says with a soft smile and a tone of sincerity.\n\n\t“Do I have a choice?”\n\n\t“Always, Jaiya.”\n\n\tMy mind staggered as if the drunk had collapsed from sheer intoxication and in the heat was crawling to some oasis. “I… I have to do this now. But I want to talk later too.”\n\n\t“Alright, Jaiya.” She said as she had grabbed a new metal clamp, bigger, and attached it to behind the head of the penis. She walked to the door, my vision seeming darker than ever. Selene looked back with a hopeful smile and opened the door. “Jaiya… You always, have a choice.”\n\n\t“Miss Selene… You, you forgot a place.” I frowned, why would I tell her? Why help her punish me further?\n\n\t“Oh, where?” she said returning to the table to check the aquatic over\n\n\t“My head fin. It’s as sensitive as down there. In fact it can excite me in much the same manner.”\n\n\t“Is that right?” the chimed in a more melodic, fascinated tone as her fingers gently ran over the base and stroked up to the fin itself. I quivered once more before moaning out softly. “I see. Well if you come and see me later we’ll talk about that too. Now I must go get the twins.”\n\n\t“Are you not… Gonna hook it up to?”\n\n\tMiss Selene smiled, “Honesty goes a very long way around here, Jaiya. Besides, it’s too close to the brain for my liking. I want them to learn, not watch you get hurt severely. What kind of monster would I be if that were the case?” she said before again going to the door, opening it and closing it. “One last word of advice, Jaiya,” she called from the other side of the door. “look up.”\n\n\tI looked at the door for what seemed forever before listening, and then looked up at the ceiling. Lights? It was hard to tell, the room felt so dark. I looked closely, yes. Lights. The whole room was lit. It was I who was darkened, my eyes specifically. W-why didn’t I notice before? What was it Miss Selene said… I always have a choice? Not true, I thought. You can’t break deals or promises. At least, I won’t. I made a promise to protect my family, and with Miss Selene I made a deal to that effect.\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\nDustin smiled as he cuddled into his new tail, chirping a soft lizard chirp before absent-mindedly dancing, an almost jazzy music coming from somewhere in his mind, or was it? Harmony too seemed to be dancing to it. It was until the knock at the door came a third time that Rhapsody got up to answer, Danny lifting his pot-hat up a bit as he looked up “H-hello. Is Dustin in here? I saw him run this way looking upset and scared. Mommy will want to know where he is.”\n\nRhapsody nodded and opened the door showing off the dancing Harmony and Dustin, it made Danny smile as his tail gently twitched along with the music that seemed to be playing from nowhere and everywhere in the room. “You can come in as long as you promise not to cause trouble.”\n\nDanny nodded and knocked his hat “I’m a soldier! I don’t cause trouble I solve it!”\n\nRhapsody smirked and shook her head thinking, ‘if only he knew’ to herself as she granted admission to the bunny. Dustin stopped as the door closed and just as he did so did the music, there before him was Danny and Rhapsody. He recoiled a bit, pushing into Harmony who pointed up to the stuffed boar’s head, reminding him of her assertion of protection. It eased his mind a bit as Danny saluted soldierly, “Danny reporting for body guard duty!”\n\nHarmony giggles at this and looked to Dustin. “I think he’s gonna protect you, Dustin. No need to be afraid.” \n\nRhapsody nodded in agreement as she walked over to Dustin her wings unfolding slowly enough not to startle him too much as she pulled him into a hug, “Yes, this is a safe place.” She said as she let go, “For both of you.” She looked to Danny and smiled.\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\nIt didn’t take Selene long to find Hedas and Taelz. Both were in one of the few very spacious spare rooms that were completely empty. They were chasing each other back and forth in a game of tag and even trying to pin one another for tickling as they played. It was almost sweet enough to make one forget what had happened earlier… That is until Miss Selene cleared her throat as she entered, the two stopping instantly. “I finished it. Would you like to come watch the fun?” She smiled innocently, her purple eyes pulsing softly as she spoke, in her right hand a large remote.\n\nTaelz squeaked out first, “Yes please!” as Hedas looked around a bit, making sure they weren’t the ‘joke’ before also agreeing.\n\nSelene led them down the hall her footfalls seeming to echo through the mansion. The two were playfully fighting with each other and discussing what Miss Selene had ‘cooked up’ when she stopped in front of a room, “Ahh here we are, the theater.”\n\nHedas and Taelz looked at each other in surprise, a movie? Really?\n\n“Well? Go on in and take this.” she said wiggling the rather long remote with, what usually seems to a kid, an infinite number of unlabeled buttons. They went in eagerly and in the dim of what did look like a movie theater they took a seat in the front row, pressing buttons as children do. Selene, aware of the eagerness of children had disabled the remote until she was ready.\n\nSuddenly her voice could be heard over the speakers in the room. “Just a moment you two. I still need to set up one last thing.”\n\nHedas looked about and shivered, “Taelz… I don’t like this…. We-we’re gonna be the joke, lets go.”\n\nThe Selene’s melodic voice giggles over the speaker, “I’m afraid you can’t leave until the show is over.”\n\nAt this Taelz ran to the door only to find it locked. In a small panic they began to pull at the door to which the voice giggled again.\n\nOn the other side of the “screen” Selene giggled as she watched them frantically pull at the door, and so did I, though ashamed to admit it. Selene turned to me and nodded. “Right then it’s time for them to see. I know you’re worried about this but it will look more dramatic than it’ll feel. In fact I think it might scare them just a bit more that you’re not in pain from it than how it’ll look.”\n\n“What will happen, Miss Selene?”\n\n“Simple. Those leads will make the location they’re attached to spam and seem to jump. It may cause a gasp or two but it will be painless… meanwhile Hedas and Taelz will be pushing buttons activating each lead or several at once. Meanwhile only one of the buttons will release you, that, they’ll have to figure out. You’re not allowed to help them, alright?”\n\nI nodded, “Yes, Miss Selene. I… I’m afraid though.”\n\nSelene nodded in acknowledgement, “That’s why I’m going to stay here, standing just beside you. Now please no more questions or talking. I think they’re panicked enough to begin.” Selene said as the flipped two switches, the footfalls of her heels clicking the countdown over the twins’ speakers, making them back away from the door and against the opposing wall in a rush.\n\nWith a giggle Selene stood beside me and spoke, “Okay you two, I’m ready. There’s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now. Also there is a box in front of the screen, yes? The big red button there is to talk to me.”\n\nHedas rushed to the red button and pushed it in a panic. “Please let us out! We don’t wanna be joked on like this!”\n\nSelene smiled down to Jaiya and repeated exactly in tone and pitch as before, “Okay you two, I’m ready. There’s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now.”\n\n“But we don’t WANNA press it!” Taelz stammered from the back wall, clutching the remote while Hedas remained pushing the button.\n\nAgain Selene repeated herself making it almost seem like a programed recording, “Okay you two, I’m ready. There’s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now.” Then, with the same tone she added “Do not delay any longer or things will be much, much worse.”\n\nTaelz looked at the remote and the big red button on the Top left. Putting his finger over it he pointed it at the screen and closed his eyes, pressing the button.\n\nSuddenly the panel in between the glass dropped making what was a One way mirror very much a window. The twins were now able to see their mother laying on a table and a heard her gasp at the first “spark” of punishment. Each lead fired at once, making her muscles jump and every sensitive part of her body tingle and twinge. The twins dropped the remote and ran to the window, holding the button as they cried out in unison. “Mommy?! Mommy! What did you do to mommy?! Let her go!”\n\nSelene smiled, “What? You don’t like my joke? I think it’s pretty good…. You see… each button you press on that remote get your mommy one step closer to being free. But not pressing for a bit will-”\n\nI gasped, interrupting Selene as she had intended my body spasming again. “Make mommy’s body react,” Selene finished. “Do you think you can find the right button? Hmm? Hedas? Taelz?”\n\nHedas backed away slowly as Taelz continued to push the intercom button, tears starting to form in his eyes, “Mommy! I didn’t mean to get you in trouble Mommy! I’m sorry! Mommy I’m sorry!”\n\nSelene looked to me and nodded, letting me ask a question I already knew the answer to but wanted to ask them directly. “Taelz, sweety. Tell mommy what you-” I gasped as my body spasmed again, “Tell mommy what you did.”\n\nTaelz looked at the floor, his mouth suddenly sealed shut as Hedas picked up the remote quietly, hoping Taelz wouldn’t notice.\n\n“Taelz…. Tell mommy what you-” I gasped again from the pulse in the leads, “did… Just tell mommy.”\n\nTales stammered slowly and quietly. “I… h-hurt D-Dustin.” Hedas pressed a button somewhere in the middle of the remote, me, almost yelping as the lead to my penis pulsed, my body reacting and squirming as Taelz suddenly bolstered. “Stop it! Stop hurting mommy! Let her go! She didn’t do it!”\n\nSelene giggled unapologetically as she pointed to Hedas. “That one wasn’t me at all.”\n\nHedas dropped the remote as Taelz had before, the remote falling face down as a few buttons on the bottom pressed the floor, my arms and legs spasming as If they might explode, all the while I simply gasp and occasionally groans from the earlier stimulation.”\n\nTaelz rushed at Hedas, scooping the remote from the floor as Hedas’ face disappeared into her raccoon paws, “I’m sorry. I’m sorry! I thought it would free her!” \n\nSelene held back another giggle, after holding the intercom button from the other side for so long, it has become “stuck” on. She responded with a cheerful encouragement. “One button down. Only 26 to go.”\n\nTales glared at Hedas for the longest time before I squirmed and gasped, Selene almost innocently touching her lips with a finger, “Oh yes I forgot… Each button you’ve pressed so far will also be added to the ‘not pressing buttons’ shock. So I suggest you not stop, unless…” Selene’s smile was almost as sinister as it was seductive. “Unless you want to see your mommy like this.”\n\nTales immediately pushed another button, unfortunately it was the same one Hedas had pressed, making me react in much the same manner. Selene, looking to a small panel on the wall, shook her head. Still 26 buttons to go, Taelz. Looks like you DO want to see mommy like this.”\n\n“SHUT UP! N-NO I DON’T!” he roared as he pushed another, Jaiya’s neck pulsing as she let out another gasp.\n\nSelene nodded in approval. “I guess not then. Still… Aren’t jokes like this fun?” she giggled softly.\n\nForty minutes. Forty minutes of buttons and sobbing, of teasing and pulsing shocks. The twins were devastated by now. They had pressed every button twice over save one. They ignored it intentionally, The big red “start” button. At their wits end they both agreed to push it together, Taelz finger over Hedas’. The metal latches clacked as the mechanism released and my body finally stopped pulsing, suddenly the glass become black, the one way piece sliding back up and locking in place. “Great job you two that only almost took a whole hour? Wasn’t that a great show?” Selene teased before cutting the intercom.\n\nLooking to me, Selene smiled, “I’m not sure how you’d react, but at this point I’d probably go out and try to act as if this never happened. That way they come and tell me everything and are dumbfounded as to why I don’t ‘know’ what happened.”\n\nI smiled back, “Miss Selene, that was exactly what I was thinking. As for having a choice, like you said earlier, I don’t know about your personal life… but that was kind of… fun.” I blushed as I giggled, holding my hand over her mouth gently.\n\n“Ah, yes. Sometimes things we fear can be exciting and pleasurable in unexpected ways. Still I’m sure the twins are more than willing to both talk about what happened and, hopefully, have curbed their appetite for jokes. Anyways I’ll give you a moment to get dressed and make a quick exit to wherever you wish to go before letting them lose.”\n\nYes, Miss Selene. And….” my arms wrapped around the waist of the bat. “Thank you for not making it painful.”\n\nSelene knelt down and smiled, letting me look her in those deep purple eyes, “Jaiya I never mean to cause pain intentionally for unfair reasons. What they did was horrible, I admit, but Dustin would have felt nothing more than what you did. His species has the ability to shut off pain in their tails. I let the punishment fit the crime. Dramatics over pain.”\n\nI nodded and kissed Selene’s cheek, “Thank you anyway. I Still plan to see you later this evening, maybe after I put the twins to bed. After this I think they’re going to be a bit clingy.”\n\nSelene giggled, “Right you are, now get dressed and go ‘study.’” After 20 minutes and settling back into Animal Farm I was unsurprised as the twins burst into the room, “I thought I told you two to behave yourselves here, you’re supposed to knock. What if I was undressed?” I said causally, putting up the act that nothing had happened.\n\n“Mommy, mommy, mommy!” they cried in unison, rushing to hug me.\n\nAfter settling them down and having them explain, and again unsurprised at their confusion at her act of unknowing, Hedas spoke, “we’ve decided to be good and not joke anymore, mommy. What happened today wasn’t fair and we don’t want to see you hurt anymore.”\n\n“But sweeties, I’ve been here the whole time.”\n\n“Yes mommy but that mommy was real to us too… we don’t want any version of mommy or anyone to feel pain anymore. Even if it’s funny.”\n\n\n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\n\n\n“And that’s how Mommy met Miss Selene and Hedas and Taelz learned that not all funny things are fun things.”\n\n“But mommy?”\n\n“Yes sweety?”\n\n“That’s not all of it is it?”\n\n“Not in the least, you precious girl. It’s only the end of the beginning of mommy’s memory there.”\n\nThe smoky-white Siamese squirmed at being called “precious” and snuggled into Jaiya, hiding a blush. “Am not.”\n\nJaiya smiled before looking up and seeing a male brown wolf crying in the corner, his hands holding his legs to his chest. Settling the cat down and letting her go off to play, Jaiya moved over to the wolf. “Tell mommy what happened, sweety.”\n\n“He hit me… called me stupid and said I should know better than to try making friends with him.” Was all she could get out, repeated over and over before he pointed to a red hawk sitting alone in another corner.\n\nJaiya sighed and nodded. “Reno doesn’t mean to be that way. He’s had a tragic life. Though I do agree, he’s been a handful, more so lately.” She “hmmm’d” in thought and smiled. “You know though. I know someone who may just be able to help him. I’ll give her a call in a bit. Now come with me. You need a cookie and a hug.” She gently picked up the young wolf and held him to her side, the wolf blushing in gratefulness and shyness.\n",

A young aquatic girl not much older than 14-15 pushed gently against the car&#039;s trunk. A small buzzing, like electricity, hums through the entire car if one simply listens. And just as suddenly as the humming started the girl smiled; &#039;click&#039; went the trunk and inside slipped the girl, awaiting the returning patrons of the store. But this wasn&#039;t just any customer; Selene Nightfang is not just any woman. You see, that girl was me. And Miss Selene? Well... She helped me and my &quot;family.&quot; Before her school proper, before the donors. Before all that success, Miss Selene gave her first lessons. We were the first students and we are indebted to her, forever.&quot;<br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br />&quot;But Mommy?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Yes sweety?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;m not in this story, am I?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Nope sweety... you have your own story, know why?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;No mommy, why?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Because, sweety. You&#039;re gonna grow up better than mommy did. You&#039;ll have your own adventures and make your own mistakes. And when the world comes crashing down... All that mommy&#039;s learned from Miss Selene will be here in my arms to hold you. Now lets talk about what you did then I&rsquo;ll finish my story. &quot;<br /><br />&quot;Yes, ma&rsquo;am.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Was it fun to push Susanne into the brick castle?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;N-no mommy. I laughed but it didn&rsquo;t feel funny.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Of course sweety. Hurting others for fun never, ever, feels right or fun. That&rsquo;s why I&rsquo;m telling you this story.&quot;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes mommy, I won&rsquo;t interrupt anymore.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Good girl, now where was I? Oh yes&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br />Our lives aren&#039;t always as fanciful as we recant them, but in this case this story is true, or most of it. When I was a very young girl I was lost in this world. Being the person I am, many lost souls gathered to me. It wasn&#039;t enough that I myself was a starving girl living on what I could scrounge... Now I was a &quot;mommy&quot; and had to desperately provide for more than myself. I&#039;m not ashamed to admit I did what was necessary.<br /><br /><br />In the darkness of the back alley of every bar, every night club, and every gentleman&#039;s den... That&#039;s where I was. Turning tricks for meager cash. It wasn&#039;t glamorous and many of the men never gave a second thought to who I was; I must have been &quot;just another addict&quot; to many of them. I don&#039;t blame them either. If the me of today met the me of then, I too would probably over look her; had it not been for the week where everything evaporated.<br /><br />Several new city ordinances were put into place, they lit every back alley and side street to get people like me to stop our &quot;profession&quot;; at thirteen, half living isn&#039;t a profession, it&#039;s a necessity. It had been 3 days with no food in the abandoned shack where my family lived... We were desperate... I was desperate. That&#039;s what made me decide to do it. I was going to steal.<br /><br />&quot;Mom you get so much! Most of this we can&#039;t even eat!&quot; said a lightly colored tan bat, not much older than seven or eight.<br /><br />&quot;It&#039;s fine Harmony; you never know when we&#039;ll have company other than ourselves, right Rhapsody?&quot; replies a much older and elegant looking female bat with chocolate brown fur.<br /><br />&quot;Huh? Oh yea... Sure mom.&quot; said a darker colored auburn bat her head rather occupied by a most intriguing book, From the Earth to the Moon.<br /><br />I closed the trunk a little more hoping they wouldn&#039;t notice, sniffing. We Zora don&#039;t have long noses for nothing. I could tell what &quot;Harmony&quot; had meant; a bag alone full of fresh fruits, veggies and a veritable treasure trove of &quot;junk&quot;, as well as a sack of tightly wrapped butcher wraps. Beef? Yea, raw, prime cuts by the scent of lighter chemicals meant to ensure flavor over preservation... and, blood? Yea. That had to be blood sealed tightly in small plastic canisters. I knew which bag to go for, which way to go, and how fast I was gonna have to run.<br /><br />&quot;Rhapsody? When you die can I get you name tattooed on my nether?&quot; Harmony chirped.<br /><br />&quot;Huh... um sure, wait what?&quot; Rhapsody said, looking up from her book<br /><br />&quot;Too late you can&#039;t take it back now! hahaha!&quot; Harmony reveled in this playfulness<br /><br />&quot;Girls calm down. It&rsquo;s gonna be a long week for your mother and I dare not wish to be nagged every hour by more than just one inconvenience.&rdquo; The elder bat said in a very calm and polite voice as she clicked the lock for the trunk. I let it go and just as I grabbed the bag she caught my hand without looking.<br /><br />I was struck with horror; the terror clear on my face as all the two girls looked at me with a glare I could only ever describe as a mix of rage and intrigue, but their mother&hellip; She just looked to me, her face still calm and collected as she watched me. She kept them at bay without even saying a word. Struggle as I might I couldn&#039;t break free something told me. I could if I let go of the bag, but it was too important to me. My clothes tatters and shredded, years old shoes sizes too small near unstitched from the sole. I looked up into deep purple eyes of the mother bat that glowed almost as deep as my teal eyes. I shuddered at the thought of being their next &quot;Prime meal&quot;; but that&#039;s when I couldn&#039;t focus anymore and everything went dark. I saw only the purple in this beautiful bat&#039;s eyes. It filled my vision, my body, and my soul. I couldn&#039;t see anything but I could think and in those thoughts I almost envied her girls. Fed, clothed, and loved, most importantly loved. My poor little collection... we&#039;d never have this ever.<br /><br />I didn&#039;t realize it for several minutes but when my mind was finally able to realize I was free, there it was the bag, left just beside me. I grabbed it quickly and looked about. &lsquo;W-when did I leave the parking lot?&rsquo; I mused to myself while finding myself in the grassy park just beside the grocer. It didn&#039;t matter... I had the bag... I had food... This HAD to last us. The veggies had to go first then all the junk food... I never remembered the bag feeling this heavy? Canned goods and a can opener? Have I been losing my senses?<br /><br />It didn&#039;t matter I had to run... They needed to eat... all of them. I ran across the park and over several streets. Corners and back alleys once unpleasant or cruel now lit by the light of day had cleaned parasites like me away. I got to our home in under an hour... a record. Opening the door with a huff I smiled as six children ranging in ages from 6 to 17 looked at me with glee.<br /><br />&quot;Mommy&rsquo;s home, my loves and tonight we get to eat like a real family.&quot; I said with a labored sigh of relief as all six rushed me for hugging. I smiled as I hugged and kissed each one in return.<br /><br />&quot;Julia. Fetch me some water, Mark bring me your knife. Danny? Can mommy borrow your hat?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Yes mommy!&quot; the joyous cries erupted.<br /><br />Danny&#039;s hat was a pot, the poor bunny, only eight years old, was wearing as if he were a soldier or space man. He was wearing it when he found me running from something &quot;bad&quot; as he had put it.<br /><br />Mark was the oldest, older than even me, but he thought of me the most as a mother. When he found me he was wounded. Stray cats get in many fights and he was no exception. I did as best I could to bandage most of his wounds. Poor sweety, his face will never fully heal from the cut. <br /><br />Julia... She&#039;s a tricky one, but what little magpie isn&#039;t? At only 10 she seems to be as lost as I was. I still have no clue how she got there but when she found me she had just taken nothing more than a shiny tin can from the house. Now all her treasures are with us.<br /><br />Dustin is a very shy gecko and the youngest child at only 6. He keeps to himself for fear of... well we&#039;ve never really discussed what, but he is afraid of something. When he found me he had just lost his tail for the third time in his life. I had to hold him tight and sing to calm him down. Now he knows not everything is out to get him.<br /><br />Hedas and Taelz are Paternal Twin raccoons, polar opposites...&nbsp;&nbsp;at age 13 they&#039;re always fighting. But when mommy is home they seem to be on best behavior. Hedas, the girl, loves to play word games on Taelz while Taelz, male, is more of a practical joker. When they found me they were going to try and game me out of dinner little did they know mommy&#039;s been a tad more educated.<br /><br />This was my family and they are perfect. It doesn&rsquo;t matter what I look like at this point because tonight we get to have veggies: Sliced, cubed, and quartered bell peppers; a head of lettuce, one nearly perfect leek, a few potatoes, and a tomato. Their eyes filled with wonder at mommy&#039;s &quot;cooking&quot; I set the pot town and passed out the spoons.<br /><br />&quot;Dig in loves, plenty for everyone tonight!&quot;<br /><br />&quot;YAAY!&quot; They&#039;re really good kids... They just need a chance.<br /><br />That night, with full bellies and soft yawns, we really did feel like a family. We never realized how much better our lives were going to get. The next morning the shack shook as a small chartered bus pulled up just outside.<br /><br />&quot;Is there a &#039;mommy&#039; here?&quot; said a heavy-set bear with an almost overly friendly tone, Canadian? &quot;I&#039;m supposed to be picking up &#039;mommy and her family.&#039;&quot;<br /><br />I hesitated, leaning onto the door as the children cowered in the rear, holding our &quot;fire exit&quot; ready in case I gave the signal, &quot;Who wants &#039;mommy and family?&#039;&quot;<br /><br />&quot;A Miss Nightfang said on the phone she hoped you enjoyed dinner and that she wished you to not forget how much you wished for a real family in her purple eyes?&quot; The bear sighed obviously confused, but honest &quot;Look &lsquo;mommy&#039; if you don&#039;t wanna come I&rsquo;m just supposed to report back to HQ for a return call to the customer otherwise I&rsquo;m to take you to her address. It&rsquo;s a big ritzy mansion. Looks like 50 people could live there easily. Who knows she may even have beds in every room, whada ya say, eh?&quot;<br /><br />I shook my head to the kids. No... This couldn&#039;t be a trap. It didn&#039;t feel or smell like one. Lies are easy to sniff out. Slowly I opened the door and looked outside &quot;I&rsquo;m &#039;mommy,&#039; but I&#039;m also called Jaiya.&quot; <br /><br />&quot;jie-yah?&quot; the bear looked back at me with a smile. No malicious intent on his body or in his scent, I nodded. &quot;Well come on, hop in and bring the &#039;family.&#039; Miss Nightfang said you kids needed more than just veggies.&quot;<br /><br />To this day; I&#039;m not sure why, I&#039;ll never know why, but something in my head pleaded with me &quot;trust this, trust this.&quot; it wasn&#039;t more than a few minutes to get everyone strapped in tight before we set out and everything changed.<br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />Along the way I handed out small portions of assorted chips to every one of my little ones. The bear smiling as I even passed out some to Mark who also called me &ldquo;mom.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;When did you get the time to gather a family, Miss Jaiya?&rdquo; the bear asked, clearly intrigued as he continued driving.<br /><br />&ldquo;A mother doesn&rsquo;t gather a family&hellip; A family gathers to her.&rdquo; I looked back at him, offering some of the assortment. <br /><br />He kindly turned it down and chuckled, &ldquo; You&rsquo;re right about that. It&rsquo;s been a while since I&rsquo;ve seen my own mother. I should visit her.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Does she live around here?&rdquo; I asked, rather curious. I wasn&rsquo;t prepared for his answer.<br /><br />&ldquo;Not exactly&hellip; in fact she doesn&rsquo;t exactly live at all anymore. She died a few years ago.&rdquo; He said as tears well in his eyes. I couldn&rsquo;t help it; I reached over and gingerly massaged his arm and nodded, my mind running a mile a moment as words began to just pour from me&hellip;<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s okay sweety, mommy&rsquo;s here. Mommy&rsquo;s here&hellip; She didn&rsquo;t mean to hurt you.&rdquo; The bear, wiping away tears chuckled amusedly while also sighing comfortably.<br /><br />&ldquo;That Miss Nightfang was right yea? You really don&rsquo;t deserve to be in that little place. You&rsquo;ll find plenty of room at her house.&rdquo; He nodded, matter-of-factly.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mommy?&rdquo; Danny squeaked out from the back seat, &ldquo; How much longer is it&hellip; I really gotta go pee-pee.&rdquo;<br /><br />I blinked a bit at the question, not knowing myself, before looking to the bear that simply chuckled and pointed at the mansion. I have no clue what Miss Selene&rsquo;s job was before she came to own her school but it was one that defiantly set her off into luxury. It really was as huge as the bear had made it out to be and we were already, and only, just beginning to turn into the driveway.<br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br /><br />Getting the little one out was the easy part. Getting poor Danny to the restroom? Never happened. As we stepped to the door it opened by itself as if expecting us, even the bear, who had introduced himself as Harry Mason, took pause at this.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mommy&hellip; I don&rsquo;t have to go to the bathroom anymore.&rdquo;<br /><br />Stunned myself, I responded the only way I could, &ldquo; It&rsquo;s okay sweety. Mommy&rsquo;s a little frightened too. We&rsquo;ll clean you up later.&rdquo;<br /><br />Inside the foyer things were just as ominous. The room itself was well lit and seemed in perfect order but it felt that, just out of sight, danger could be lurking. I lined my little ones up in order from age and stood in front of Dustin, his fear high as he held tight to my leg. It was then Miss Nightfang stepped forward from the darkness, passing us all by as if we weren&rsquo;t there. Her hand outreached to tip Mr. Mason for his job. When he was gone she walked back just to the edge of the shadows and turned to face us all.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m glad you accepted my invitation. You&rsquo;re the first house-guests I&rsquo;ve ever had in this house. I&rsquo;m not sure what to expect of each of you yet. But I welcome you to your new home, for the time. I want to lay some ground rules before we get you all settled&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />She listed a number of things left and right, curfew, meals, manners&hellip; punishment. I shook my head, &lsquo; This was a mother? How could she ever hope to raise anyone by punishing them for every mistake?&rsquo; I thought as she looked at me, staring, as if knowing what I was thinking. I nodded back at her that I did disagree and she simply smiled, showing off all her teeth sharp and pointed, sparkling and almost illuminated in the darkness, still listing rules and punishments. That smile frightened Dustin more as my leg started to tingle, falling asleep.<br /><br />Getting everyone sorted into separate rooms was easy. But the night was difficult. I found myself wandering the halls, my teal eyes glowing in the darkness like alien headlights as my natural night vision showed me why I felt justified fearing the shadows of the house. In every corner were stuffed feral animals of many species, crows, bats, cats, deer, fish&hellip; But every once in a while, and I didn&rsquo;t realize at the time, were dusty devices of pleasure and pain. Looking back it was all too clear this house had to belong to someone obviously in need of many services, sex just one of them. There were even dried blood stains on some. Whoever had owned this house before Miss Nightfang, they must have been really naughty, demonic almost. Still, in this house, it was this first night I literally bumped into Miss Nightfang.&nbsp;&nbsp;Turning to view me the conversation didn&rsquo;t start out as I expected.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah Miss Jaiya, You disagree with my methods?&rdquo; She said in a calm tone, as she looked over me.<br /><br />I stood still, expecting to be punished for violating curfew before she turned her head, interested and intrigued at what I have to say. My words were quiet but got stronger as I spoke, &ldquo;it- It&rsquo;s not right&hellip; to punish them outright for every little thing.&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;ll frighten them from the world, a world that can be cruel, but can be so loving as well.&ldquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Perhaps you&rsquo;re right. But would they not still be punished in the long run? Wouldn&rsquo;t the decision to do the wrong thing sneak up from behind and arrest them? Or worse, murder them?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I- I&hellip;&rdquo; I couldn&rsquo;t respond. I may have understood but I was still so young. Knowing what I do today I know the perfect response but back then; my, my how small I felt. Like Miss Nightfang was judging me, telling me I had no right to be a caretaker for my little family. But that didn&rsquo;t stop my determination. Balling my fists I looked up at Miss Selene with a harder glow in my eyes. &ldquo; Then let me take it. Let me&hellip; take their punishments.&rdquo;<br /><br />Miss Selene simply quirked her head, &ldquo;you&rsquo;re offering your body to take their pain?&rdquo; her tone changing from the eerie calm to sounding truly intrigued, maybe a hint of seduction as well.<br /><br />&ldquo;No&hellip; I&rsquo;m offering to be their mother. With all the joys and pains that come with it. Surely you know what it is to need to protect your girls. I need to protect my family too, even if it&rsquo;s from the pains you may visit upon them.&rdquo;<br /><br />Miss Nightfang smiled, as soft musical giggle accompanied her voice as she nodded. &ldquo;I agree to your terms on one condition&hellip; They have to see it. Each punishment viewed by the criminal, agreed?&rdquo;<br /><br />I nodded. Had I known then what I know now. I still would have nodded. Miss Nightfang unfolded her arms, her wings that she kept folded up against them unfurled as she opened her hands fully; letting her wings fall, looking almost as velvet curtains, as she offered a hug, &ldquo; As one mother to another, let us seal this deal with a hug.&rdquo;<br /><br />I reached my arms out gently wrapping them around her waist. My body froze in the hug. My mind flooded with things I couldn&rsquo;t understand. Images I still don&rsquo;t see quite clearly. Above it all was Miss Nightfang&rsquo;s voice, soothing but firm &ldquo; You have made a choice, time will tell if you regret it or not. I hope you are prepared for the days ahead.&rdquo;<br /><br />My body shook as I was able to let go. &ldquo;W-what are you Miss Nightfang?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Please, as one mother to another, call me Selene.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes, Miss Selene.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;As for what I am, I am simply a woman, who wishes to make a difference in this world of ours. I know how it is out there, and my life was changed once through a similar experience; now I simply pay it forward. Remember this for the days to come, for all you will have to suffer, all the torment you will get put through for protecting your children from themselves; it will be worth it. Things will be better for everyone in the end, I promise.&rdquo; She whispered in my ear, her words both reassuring and scary at the same time. <br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />Several days had passed without incident. A few trips here and there and everyone had their own assortment of clothes&hellip; NEW clothes, even shoes. Such a wonderful gift made them more well behaved than simply wanting to behave. After the &ldquo;new&rdquo; wore off some fell back into their old habits, Hedas and Taelz first. <br /><br />I mostly kept the kids occupied with a number of books from the library. A bit of a teacher and a lot more of a learner as I read history and fantasy to them, I myself learned of things I never knew&hellip; The Plague, a terrible blight that no one could escape&hellip; The New World, a land of promise but one that was bought in native blood&hellip; And then the fantasy&hellip; Hanging on my every word the children were spell bound by classics such as The Time Machine or The Magician&rsquo;s Nephew&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; They really are good kids, or they tried to be&hellip;.<br /><br />About a week after arriving Hedas and Taelz had become fascinated with the suits of armor that lined the halls. Hedas and tales hatched a plan to scare poor Dustin senseless. Everything was set and in the Foyer Taelz climbed into one of the suits, Hedas running off to get Dustin to see this &ldquo;shiny stone.&rdquo; Miss Selene was just finishing some sort of conference and was exiting a room on the second floor when she spotted Hedas practically begging Dustin to follow her. Intrigued she stopped and watched as Dustin passed the armor. <br /><br />Taelz roared and groaned, shaking the suit as Dustin looked up his body went limp, falling to the ground and coving his face. Taelz continued shaking the suit as suddenly the giant sword on the right side slid loose and swung downward with a squelching thud. Dustin&rsquo;s hands fell as his eyes burned in a dull almost non-existant pain, his mouth not even able to scream as tears welled in them. Again, Dustin had lost his tail.<br /><br />Hedas and Taelz we so busy laughing by Dustin&rsquo;s fright they never noticed his tail being lobbed off or that in that time Selene had joined their giggling, her melodic voice blending with theirs until she stopped, seeming to suck all the laughter from both their voices as she did.<br /><br />&ldquo;Amazing. Simply amazing. This is your best joke to date.&rdquo; She said looking to Dustin who was even more afraid now; everything in him wanting to freeze but something telling him to run. He ran straight upstairs and down halls he&rsquo;d never dared venture before. <br /><br />Selene then turned to Taelz who had just climbed out of the suit and saw Dustin&rsquo;s tail, panicking, &ldquo;Y-yea! G-great&hellip; Umm S-sis? I think we went too far.&rdquo; He quipped rather quickly, pointing to the sword to which Hedas looked over and upon seeing Dustin&rsquo;s tail gasped and stood back, looking up to Miss Selene in a knowing horror.<br /><br />Selene giggles in her soft hypnotic melody as she comforted the twin coons. &ldquo; What? I thought it was great! In fact I have an even better joke. I&rsquo;ll come get you when it&rsquo;s all set up then we can all laugh and enjoy it. Alright?&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas and Taelz simply nodded looking to one another and wondering if they really did just get off the hook, smiling to each other as Miss Selene walked away. &ldquo; That was close.&rdquo; They said in whispered duplicate.<br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />Dustin ran. Seeing Dustin on the floor shaking she smiled and nodded<br /><br />&ldquo;Hello down there. How&rsquo;s the weather?&rdquo; She giggles with her mother&rsquo;s same melodic tone making him tremble even more. She giggled a little louder as she petted his head, Dustin&rsquo;s eyes covers by his hands. &ldquo; You know bats normally eat little lizards.&rdquo;<br /><br />It was here that Rhapsody looked up from yet another book, War of the Worlds, noticing Dustin. &ldquo;Sis if you go any further you&rsquo;ll kill him from sheer fright.&rdquo; She said bluntly before returning to reading again.<br /><br />&ldquo;Aww&hellip; I don&rsquo;t mean to tease. I&rsquo;ve just never seen anyone so scared.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That may be true, sis. But he&rsquo;s not normal either. Everything is cause to fear for him, can&rsquo;t you see that?&rdquo; Rhapsody says setting the book to the side for the moment, having the same analytical eyes as her mother just as Harmony seems to have their mother&rsquo;s voice, studying him a bit before returning to her book. <br /><br />Harmony looked at the poor Gecko this time, really looking. She hung her head a bit and reached to help him to his feet. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sorry Dustin. I didn&rsquo;t mean to scare you. But&hellip; Why are you up here?&rdquo;<br /><br />Dustin who by now was just short of relieving himself instinctively grabbed his tail and stroked the now healing nub, piping in with a small, insecure voice. &ldquo;Four&hellip; I lost it again. Hedas made me lose it. The armor was alive&hellip; I was so scared.&rdquo;<br /><br />Harmony nodded and hugged the gecko. &ldquo; My mommy and your mommy will fix it.&rdquo;<br /><br />Dustin shuddered as Harmony hugged him, fearful but also comforted. &ldquo;Mommy always tries to fix it.&rdquo; He said, looking down his large eyes again filling with tears. &ldquo;Mommy could get hurt too.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes, but our mommy gets results.&rdquo; Harmony giggled playfully before she gently tugged the poor boy into her shared room. It was almost like a Common area, no beds or means of rest but doors on either side. Of course Dustin ignored all this, focusing solely on the large stuffed bore&rsquo;s head over a small fireplace that was unlit making him shudder again. <br /><br />&ldquo;Aw, scared of an old dead head?&rdquo; Harmony teased before she blinks and shakes her head softly &ldquo;Sorry&hellip;&rdquo; she apologized, realizing her error almost as soon as she made it.<br /><br />Rhapsody chirping again, &ldquo; You can&rsquo;t expect him to relax if you keep that up sis. He&rsquo;s fragile&hellip; like a glass ornament.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Right sis, I&rsquo;m sorry. I just can&rsquo;t help it&hellip; he&rsquo;s not used to any of the things we are.&rdquo; <br /><br />Dustin looked down at his feet and wiggled his toes a bit, feeling like an intruder when Harmony finally eased his mind, &ldquo;Dustin? You&rsquo;re welcome in here anytime. Just call one of us and we&rsquo;ll lead you here. This place is for you to hide. Mister Boar up there will scare away anyone that tries to come in and frighten you, m&rsquo;kay?&rdquo; Dustin nodded, feeling oddly better now that his ordeal was finally over, still mindlessly rubbing the nub of his tail.<br /><br />Rhapsody put her book down again, some things were more important than a pursuit of knowledge. She looked from Dustin to Harmony and then waved her sister over. She huddled with her and started to explain something that the boy couldn&rsquo;t hear, their voices seeming to talk in tongue not easily understood by most. After a few moments of talking they broke apart; Harmony returned to Dustin&rsquo;s side, &ldquo;Dustin? Sis and I have thought of something wonderful for you. Would you like to see it?&rdquo; <br /><br />Dustin&rsquo;s state of mind fractured by this point simply nodded as he continued stroking the nub then let it go in horror as it started glowing, bumping into lighter bat girl who smiled and nodded, a white aura starting to flow off her body and the gecko&rsquo;s tail. &ldquo;Just watch it.&rdquo; She said as the nub began to wiggle, a worm of a tail-tip emerging from it before extending and growing encompassing what portion was remove and a little more. Dustin&rsquo;s eyes sparkled as he chirped happily, more tears in his eyes, confusing Harmony who suddenly received the strangest hug of her life, the gecko wrapping his arms around her and his tail reaching to rub her side almost thankfully,<br /><br />&ldquo;Thank you &lsquo;sis.&rsquo;&rdquo; He said out of a lack of anything else to think of. <br /><br />Harmony, stunned looked to her sister who gave a soft smile and giggled softly, &ldquo;Just remember to feed and pick up after him.&rdquo; She teased playfully before returning yet again to her book.<br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />\tI smiled, she sat in a small study stacked with books. I was at a desk, reading and taking notes on the book, Animal Farm. It was interesting and somehow I felt it was important to read this. As I got to an unsettling part, an unexpected knock came from the door causing me to leap from my chair. &ldquo;Yes?&rdquo; I squealed politely in as much strength as I could muster from terror. &ldquo;Come in, sweety.&rdquo;<br /><br />\tIn walked Miss Selene. Her body seemed calmer that she&rsquo;d seen before; it was what made me realize the gravity of what was about to be said. In her melodic tone she acknowledged my fear. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s time for punishment, Jaiya.&rdquo;<br /><br />\tI looked up and nodded, &ldquo; What happened, if I may ask?&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Hedas and Taelz tried to play a joke. They scared Dustin, but took it too far when they cut off his tail.&rdquo; The elder bat replies simply.<br /><br />\tI gasped and stood back, my hands over my mouth; So many thoughts going through my mind. &lsquo; Was she going to cut me&hellip; and make them watch? Was I even going to see it coming? Poor Dustin! Why him? He&rsquo;s already so scared&hellip;.&rsquo; Her eyes hit the floor like a lead anvil, &ldquo;I see&hellip; I&rsquo;m ready then.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Are you? I&rsquo;m not so sure you are.&rdquo; She said as if teasing me with the ability to deny being punished.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I can&rsquo;t say &lsquo;no.&rsquo; I made a deal, Miss Selene.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Very well then, follow me. I&rsquo;ve set everything up already.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yes ma&rsquo;am.&rdquo; I said, following the bat&rsquo;s soft sway down the hall. I didn&rsquo;t look about, keeping my eyes on the floor. It wasn&rsquo;t until Miss Selene stopped that I noticed the darkness around me. Miss Selene&rsquo;s eyes shine in the dark as she patted a table and then walked over to one of the walls.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Hop up on the table and I&rsquo;ll get you settled in.&rdquo; she said. While it felt like she was trying to be comforting it only came off sounding even more sinister. Selene began to gently undress me, removing each article of clothing and neatly putting it to the side, before helping me up on the table. Once up there, she began to strap my legs, arms, and waist down in metal clamps that sealed with a&nbsp;&nbsp;magnetic mechanism; again that air of comfort stung with sinister purpose, &ldquo; These are meant to make sure you stay put. I&rsquo;d be using it on them if you hadn&rsquo;t already agreed to take their punishment.&rdquo;<br /><br />\tMy mind staggered like a drunkard through desert heat. There was so much she wished to ask, and wondering If she was so sure that i was doing the right thing, &ldquo;I..&rdquo;<br /><br />\tMiss Selene had been attaching weird shapes all over my body. Nipples clamped in with small metal rings&hellip; Neck, underarms, inner thighs, legs, arms all pressed a cold, gooey, circle.&nbsp;&nbsp; As I tried to speak, the bat nodded as if knowing somehow, &ldquo;Ask any manner of questions you wish. Some I can answer. Some you will experience.&rdquo; She said as her two gripping fingers began to touch my most sensitive of body parts, those between my light blue legs. Running along it, it felt like she was studying more than exploring. And at first that was probably true, until she started looking for the most delicate part of any girl, the clitoris.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Are&hellip; Are they watching this now, is this the punishment?&rdquo; I asked, my eyes still filled with such darkness. She couldn&rsquo;t help but look at the wall in shame, wondering what sheer madness would make sexual exploring a punishment.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;No I&rsquo;m only prepping you for the punishment&rdquo; She says as a finger slipped inside my cunny causing my body to jerk as I winced, the room seeming to get smaller for her.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;T-then you&rsquo;re torturing me down there, right?&rdquo; I asks biting my lip afterwards as Selene continued her search.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;No I&rsquo;m looking for the last location to place a lead.&rdquo; She said when her finger hit something she did not expect. Gently caressing at it and pressing it, it began to push forward. My body began shaking as I tried to stifle a moan and being only partly successful.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;L-lead? W-what are you going to do to me?&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not. They are.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Hedas?&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;And Taelz, yes,&rdquo; She nodded.<br /><br />I moaned again as the bat coaxed more from me. Me, seeming to have been hiding something, as what seemed to be my clit started to press outwards, growing and thickening into a somewhat mushroom shaped penis, standing out from the slit. I quivered and blushed, trying to hide it.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;You are a very special person Jaiya. This is fascinating. I know this is punishment but I would like to see you later and talk about this if&hellip; if you&rsquo;re okay with that&rdquo; Selene says with a soft smile and a tone of sincerity.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Do I have a choice?&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Always, Jaiya.&rdquo;<br /><br />\tMy mind staggered as if the drunk had collapsed from sheer intoxication and in the heat was crawling to some oasis. &ldquo;I&hellip; I have to do this now. But I want to talk later too.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Alright, Jaiya.&rdquo; She said as she had grabbed a new metal clamp, bigger, and attached it to behind the head of the penis. She walked to the door, my vision seeming darker than ever. Selene looked back with a hopeful smile and opened the door. &ldquo;Jaiya&hellip; You always, have a choice.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Miss Selene&hellip; You, you forgot a place.&rdquo; I frowned, why would I tell her? Why help her punish me further?<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh, where?&rdquo; she said returning to the table to check the aquatic over<br /><br />\t&ldquo;My head fin. It&rsquo;s as sensitive as down there. In fact it can excite me in much the same manner.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Is that right?&rdquo; the chimed in a more melodic, fascinated tone as her fingers gently ran over the base and stroked up to the fin itself. I quivered once more before moaning out softly. &ldquo;I see. Well if you come and see me later we&rsquo;ll talk about that too. Now I must go get the twins.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Are you not&hellip; Gonna hook it up to?&rdquo;<br /><br />\tMiss Selene smiled, &ldquo;Honesty goes a very long way around here, Jaiya. Besides, it&rsquo;s too close to the brain for my liking. I want them to learn, not watch you get hurt severely. What kind of monster would I be if that were the case?&rdquo; she said before again going to the door, opening it and closing it. &ldquo; One last word of advice, Jaiya,&rdquo; she called from the other side of the door. &ldquo;look up.&rdquo;<br /><br />\tI looked at the door for what seemed forever before listening, and then looked up at the ceiling. Lights? It was hard to tell, the room felt so dark. I looked closely, yes. Lights. The whole room was lit. It was I who was darkened, my eyes specifically. W-why didn&rsquo;t I notice before? What was it Miss Selene said&hellip; I always have a choice? Not true, I thought. You can&rsquo;t break deals or promises. At least, I won&rsquo;t. I made a promise to protect my family, and with Miss Selene I made a deal to that effect.<br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />Dustin smiled as he cuddled into his new tail, chirping a soft lizard chirp before absent-mindedly dancing, an almost jazzy music coming from somewhere in his mind, or was it? Harmony too seemed to be dancing to it. It was until the knock at the door came a third time that Rhapsody got up to answer, Danny lifting his pot-hat up a bit as he looked up &ldquo;H-hello. Is Dustin in here? I saw him run this way looking upset and scared. Mommy will want to know where he is.&rdquo;<br /><br />Rhapsody nodded and opened the door showing off the dancing Harmony and Dustin, it made Danny smile as his tail gently twitched along with the music that seemed to be playing from nowhere and everywhere in the room. &ldquo; You can come in as long as you promise not to cause trouble.&rdquo;<br /><br />Danny nodded and knocked his hat &ldquo;I&rsquo;m a soldier! I don&rsquo;t cause trouble I solve it!&rdquo;<br /><br />Rhapsody smirked and shook her head thinking, &lsquo;if only he knew&rsquo; to herself as she granted admission to the bunny. Dustin stopped as the door closed and just as he did so did the music, there before him was Danny and Rhapsody. He recoiled a bit, pushing into Harmony who pointed up to the stuffed boar&rsquo;s head, reminding him of her assertion of protection. It eased his mind a bit as Danny saluted soldierly, &ldquo;Danny reporting for body guard duty!&rdquo;<br /><br />Harmony giggles at this and looked to Dustin. &ldquo;I think he&rsquo;s gonna protect you, Dustin. No need to be afraid.&rdquo; <br /><br />Rhapsody nodded in agreement as she walked over to Dustin her wings unfolding slowly enough not to startle him too much as she pulled him into a hug, &ldquo;Yes, this is a safe place.&rdquo; She said as she let go, &ldquo; For both of you.&rdquo; She looked to Danny and smiled.<br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />It didn&rsquo;t take Selene long to find Hedas and Taelz. Both were in one of the few very spacious spare rooms that were completely empty. They were chasing each other back and forth in a game of tag and even trying to pin one another for tickling as they played. It was almost sweet enough to make one forget what had happened earlier&hellip; That is until Miss Selene cleared her throat as she entered, the two stopping instantly. &ldquo;I finished it. Would you like to come watch the fun?&rdquo; She smiled innocently, her purple eyes pulsing softly as she spoke, in her right hand a large remote.<br /><br />Taelz squeaked out first, &ldquo;Yes please!&rdquo; as Hedas looked around a bit, making sure they weren&rsquo;t the &lsquo;joke&rsquo; before also agreeing.<br /><br />Selene led them down the hall her footfalls seeming to echo through the mansion. The two were playfully fighting with each other and discussing what Miss Selene had &lsquo;cooked up&rsquo; when she stopped in front of a room, &ldquo;Ahh here we are, the theater.&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas and Taelz looked at each other in surprise, a movie? Really?<br /><br />&ldquo;Well? Go on in and take this.&rdquo; she said wiggling the rather long remote with, what usually seems to a kid, an infinite number of unlabeled buttons. They went in eagerly and in the dim of what did look like a movie theater they took a seat in the front row, pressing buttons as children do. Selene, aware of the eagerness of children had disabled the remote until she was ready.<br /><br />Suddenly her voice could be heard over the speakers in the room. &ldquo;Just a moment you two. I still need to set up one last thing.&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas looked about and shivered, &ldquo;Taelz&hellip; I don&rsquo;t like this&hellip;. We-we&rsquo;re gonna be the joke, lets go.&rdquo;<br /><br />The Selene&rsquo;s melodic voice giggles over the speaker, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m afraid you can&rsquo;t leave until the show is over.&rdquo;<br /><br />At this Taelz ran to the door only to find it locked. In a small panic they began to pull at the door to which the voice giggled again.<br /><br />On the other side of the &ldquo;screen&rdquo; Selene giggled as she watched them frantically pull at the door, and so did I, though ashamed to admit it. Selene turned to me and nodded. &ldquo;Right then it&rsquo;s time for them to see. I know you&rsquo;re worried about this but it will look more dramatic than it&rsquo;ll feel. In fact I think it might scare them just a bit more that you&rsquo;re not in pain from it than how it&rsquo;ll look.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;What will happen, Miss Selene?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Simple. Those leads will make the location they&rsquo;re attached to spam and seem to jump. It may cause a gasp or two but it will be painless&hellip; meanwhile Hedas and Taelz will be pushing buttons activating each lead or several at once. Meanwhile only one of the buttons will release you, that, they&rsquo;ll have to figure out. You&rsquo;re not allowed to help them, alright?&rdquo;<br /><br />I nodded, &ldquo;Yes, Miss Selene. I&hellip; I&rsquo;m afraid though.&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene nodded in acknowledgement, &ldquo; That&rsquo;s why I&rsquo;m going to stay here, standing just beside you. Now please no more questions or talking. I think they&rsquo;re panicked enough to begin.&rdquo; Selene said as the flipped two switches, the footfalls of her heels clicking the countdown over the twins&rsquo; speakers, making them back away from the door and against the opposing wall in a rush.<br /><br />With a giggle Selene stood beside me and spoke, &ldquo;Okay you two, I&rsquo;m ready. There&rsquo;s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now. Also there is a box in front of the screen, yes? The big red button there is to talk to me.&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas rushed to the red button and pushed it in a panic. &ldquo; Please let us out! We don&rsquo;t wanna be joked on like this!&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene smiled down to Jaiya and repeated exactly in tone and pitch as before, &ldquo;Okay you two, I&rsquo;m ready. There&rsquo;s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;But we don&rsquo;t WANNA press it!&rdquo; Taelz stammered from the back wall, clutching the remote while Hedas remained pushing the button.<br /><br />Again Selene repeated herself making it almost seem like a programed recording, &ldquo;Okay you two, I&rsquo;m ready. There&rsquo;s a big red button on the remote to start the show. You can press it now.&rdquo; Then, with the same tone she added &ldquo;Do not delay any longer or things will be much, much worse.&rdquo;<br /><br />Taelz looked at the remote and the big red button on the Top left. Putting his finger over it he pointed it at the screen and closed his eyes, pressing the button.<br /><br />Suddenly the panel in between the glass dropped making what was a One way mirror very much a window. The twins were now able to see their mother laying on a table and a heard her gasp at the first &ldquo;spark&rdquo; of punishment. Each lead fired at once, making her muscles jump and every sensitive part of her body tingle and twinge. The twins dropped the remote and ran to the window, holding the button as they cried out in unison. &ldquo;Mommy?! Mommy! What did you do to mommy?! Let her go!&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene smiled, &ldquo; What? You don&rsquo;t like my joke? I think it&rsquo;s pretty good&hellip;. You see&hellip; each button you press on that remote get your mommy one step closer to being free. But not pressing for a bit will-&rdquo;<br /><br />I gasped, interrupting Selene as she had intended my body spasming again. &ldquo;Make mommy&rsquo;s body react,&rdquo; Selene finished. &ldquo;Do you think you can find the right button? Hmm? Hedas? Taelz?&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas backed away slowly as Taelz continued to push the intercom button, tears starting to form in his eyes, &ldquo;Mommy! I didn&rsquo;t mean to get you in trouble Mommy! I&rsquo;m sorry! Mommy I&rsquo;m sorry!&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene looked to me and nodded, letting me ask a question I already knew the answer to but wanted to ask them directly. &ldquo;Taelz, sweety. Tell mommy what you-&rdquo; I gasped as my body spasmed again, &ldquo;Tell mommy what you did.&rdquo;<br /><br />Taelz looked at the floor, his mouth suddenly sealed shut as Hedas picked up the remote quietly, hoping Taelz wouldn&rsquo;t notice.<br /><br />&ldquo;Taelz&hellip;. Tell mommy what you-&rdquo; I gasped again from the pulse in the leads, &ldquo;did&hellip; Just tell mommy.&rdquo;<br /><br />Tales stammered slowly and quietly. &ldquo;I&hellip; h-hurt D-Dustin.&rdquo; Hedas pressed a button somewhere in the middle of the remote, me, almost yelping as the lead to my penis pulsed, my body reacting and squirming as Taelz suddenly bolstered. &ldquo;Stop it! Stop hurting mommy! Let her go! She didn&rsquo;t do it!&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene giggled unapologetically as she pointed to Hedas. &ldquo; That one wasn&rsquo;t me at all.&rdquo;<br /><br />Hedas dropped the remote as Taelz had before, the remote falling face down as a&nbsp;&nbsp;few buttons on the bottom pressed the floor, my arms and legs spasming as If they might explode, all the while I simply gasp and occasionally groans from the earlier stimulation.&rdquo;<br /><br />Taelz rushed at Hedas, scooping the remote from the floor as Hedas&rsquo; face disappeared into her raccoon paws, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sorry. I&rsquo;m sorry! I thought it would free her!&rdquo; <br /><br />Selene held back another giggle, after holding the intercom button from the other side for so long, it has become &ldquo;stuck&rdquo; on. She responded with a cheerful encouragement. &ldquo; One button down. Only 26 to go.&rdquo;<br /><br />Tales glared at Hedas for the longest time before I squirmed and gasped, Selene almost innocently touching her lips with a finger, &ldquo;Oh yes I forgot&hellip; Each button you&rsquo;ve pressed so far will also be added to the &lsquo;not pressing buttons&rsquo; shock. So I suggest you not stop, unless&hellip;&rdquo; Selene&rsquo;s smile was almost as sinister as it was seductive. &ldquo;Unless you want to see your mommy like this.&rdquo;<br /><br />Tales immediately pushed another button, unfortunately it was the same one Hedas had pressed, making me react in much the same manner. Selene, looking to a small panel on the wall, shook her head. Still 26 buttons to go, Taelz. Looks like you DO want to see mommy like this.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;SHUT UP! N-NO I DON&rsquo;T!&rdquo; he roared as he pushed another, Jaiya&rsquo;s neck pulsing as she let out another gasp.<br /><br />Selene nodded in approval. &ldquo;I guess not then. Still&hellip; Aren&rsquo;t jokes like this fun?&rdquo; she giggled softly.<br /><br />Forty minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;Forty minutes of buttons and sobbing, of teasing and pulsing shocks. The twins were devastated by now. They had pressed every button twice over save one. They ignored it intentionally, The big red &ldquo;start&rdquo; button. At their wits end they both agreed to push it together, Taelz finger over Hedas&rsquo;. The metal latches clacked as the mechanism released and my body finally stopped pulsing, suddenly the glass become black, the one way piece sliding back up and locking in place. &ldquo;Great job you two that only almost took a whole hour? Wasn&rsquo;t that a great show?&rdquo; Selene teased before cutting the intercom.<br /><br />Looking to me, Selene smiled, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m not sure how you&rsquo;d react, but at this point I&rsquo;d probably go out and try to act as if this never happened. That way they come and tell me everything and are dumbfounded as to why I don&rsquo;t &lsquo;know&rsquo; what happened.&rdquo;<br /><br />I smiled back, &ldquo;Miss Selene, that was exactly what I was thinking. As for having a choice, like you said earlier, I don&rsquo;t know about your personal life&hellip; but that was kind of&hellip; fun.&rdquo; I blushed as I giggled, holding my hand over her mouth gently.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ah, yes. Sometimes things we fear can be exciting and pleasurable in unexpected ways. Still I&rsquo;m sure the twins are more than willing to both talk about what happened and, hopefully, have curbed their appetite for jokes. Anyways I&rsquo;ll give you a moment to get dressed and make a quick exit to wherever you wish to go before letting them lose.&rdquo;<br /><br />Yes, Miss Selene. And&hellip;.&rdquo; my arms wrapped around the waist of the bat. &ldquo;Thank you for not making it painful.&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene knelt down and smiled, letting me look her in those deep purple eyes, &ldquo;Jaiya I never mean to cause pain intentionally for unfair reasons. What they did was horrible, I admit, but Dustin would have felt nothing more than what you did. His species has the ability to shut off pain in their tails. I let the punishment fit the crime. Dramatics over pain.&rdquo;<br /><br />I nodded and kissed Selene&rsquo;s cheek, &ldquo;Thank you anyway. I Still plan to see you later this evening, maybe after I put the twins to bed. After this I think they&rsquo;re going to be a bit clingy.&rdquo;<br /><br />Selene giggled, &ldquo;Right you are, now get dressed and go &lsquo;study.&rsquo;&rdquo; After 20 minutes and settling back into Animal Farm I was unsurprised as the twins burst into the room, &ldquo;I thought I told you two to behave yourselves here, you&rsquo;re supposed to knock. What if I was undressed?&rdquo; I said causally, putting up the act that nothing had happened.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mommy, mommy, mommy!&rdquo; they cried in unison, rushing to hug me.<br /><br />After settling them down and having them explain, and again unsurprised at their confusion at her act of unknowing, Hedas spoke, &ldquo;we&rsquo;ve decided to be good and not joke anymore, mommy. What happened today wasn&rsquo;t fair and we don&rsquo;t want to see you hurt anymore.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;But sweeties, I&rsquo;ve been here the whole time.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes mommy but that mommy was real to us too&hellip; we don&rsquo;t want any version of mommy or anyone to feel pain anymore. Even if it&rsquo;s funny.&rdquo;<br /><br /><br />~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br /><br /><br />&ldquo;And that&rsquo;s how Mommy met Miss Selene and Hedas and Taelz learned that not all funny things are fun things.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;But mommy?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes sweety?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That&rsquo;s not all of it is it?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Not in the least, you precious girl. It&rsquo;s only the end of the beginning of mommy&rsquo;s memory there.&rdquo;<br /><br />The smoky-white Siamese squirmed at being called &ldquo;precious&rdquo; and snuggled into Jaiya, hiding a blush. &ldquo;Am not.&rdquo;<br /><br />Jaiya smiled before looking up and seeing a male brown wolf crying in the corner, his hands holding his legs to his chest. Settling the cat down and letting her go off to play, Jaiya moved over to the wolf. &ldquo;Tell mommy what happened, sweety.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;He hit me&hellip; called me stupid and said I should know better than to try making friends with him.&rdquo; Was all she could get out, repeated over and over before he pointed to a red hawk sitting alone in another corner.<br /><br />Jaiya sighed and nodded. &ldquo;Reno doesn&rsquo;t mean to be that way. He&rsquo;s had a tragic life. Though I do agree, he&rsquo;s been a handful, more so lately.&rdquo; She &ldquo;hmmm&rsquo;d&rdquo; in thought and smiled. &ldquo; You know though. I know someone who may just be able to help him. I&rsquo;ll give her a call in a bit. Now come with me. You need a cookie and a hug.&rdquo; She gently picked up the young wolf and held him to her side, the wolf blushing in gratefulness and shyness.<br /></span>",
