"writing": "As the stars decorated the night sky, Scáthach grumbled to herself as she stormed through the jungle. Aside from a few annoying monkeys, she had found nothing of interest while scouting the jungle. [i]'Here's hoping Okita's search actually yielded some results…'[/i] She thought as she crossed a river and made her way towards a nearby clearing. What brings you to my part of the jungle?\" He asked, maintaining a friendly, sociable demeanor, hoping to get this more skeptical woman to trust him.\n\nStill not quite believing what was happening, Scáthach replied, \"Umm... just looking for my comrade.\" She responded in a more skeptical tone, still not quite believing what was going on. \"She was supposed to be scouting out this part of the jungle, but I have no idea where she is...\"\n\n\"Another human you say...?\" Kaa exclaimed, pretending to think about that detail for a moment. \"You wouldn't happen to mean that Okita girl, would you?\"\n\n\"You saw her?\" Scáthach asked, her expression going from skeptical to curious in one instant.\n\n\"Oh yes, I happened to come across her exploring in the jungle earlier today. Said something about searching for a beast of the jungle...\" Kaa lied, adding a few false details about their \"encounter\".\n\n\"And you told her where it was?\" Scáthach asked, her body relaxing ever-so-slightly as she deduced that the Snake didn't seem to be much of a threat.\n\n\"Not right away...\" The Snake replied, his tone becoming more disappointed. \"I had to test her first.\"\n\n\"You? Testing her?\" Scáthach mocked with disbelief. \"I find that hard to believe. You're a snake!\"\n\n\"And the beast of this jungle is much more dangerous than the most deadly serpent.\" Kaa retorted, pretending to feel offended. \"Besides, my test was quite simple for her…\"\n\n\"And that \"test\" was…?\" Scáthach asked with an arched brow, still skeptical about this snake's actions.\n\n\"She had to look directly into my eyes for ten minutes without losing focus.\" Kaa explained, noticing the puzzled expression on the female's face. \"The beast has a unique movement pattern meant to hinder its prey by flashing its eyes for a moment, distracting them to the point where it's easy to sneak up on them and strike.\"\n\n\"That sounds very creepy.\" Scáthach said with suspicion.\n\n\"Well, your comrade passed the test quite easily...\" The Serpent added as he glanced at her and, for a brief moment, sent a few indistinguishable rings of colors into her eyes, making his suggestion a bit more susceptible in the girl's mind. \"…and should you pass as well, I shall surrender the location of the beast... and your friend…\"\n\nScáthach's eyes seemed to lock on to Kaa' for a few seconds as the rings formed in his eyes. They were almost magnetic, drawing her in and making the Serpent's suggestion seem more... logical. Scáthach almost found herself nodding her head… only to blink and take a step back. \"Hold, how do I know this isn't a trick? How do I know you aren't trying to eat me or something?\"\n\n\"Oh please...\" Kaa replied, rolling his eyes. \"If I had any desire to eat you, I would have simply snuck up on you instead of presenting myself...\" The Serpent added, sending another flash of his hypnotic ring her way before she could notice again.\n\nWhile Scáthach got a brief glimpse of colors emitting from his eyes, her skepticism was quickly replaced with confusion, mixed with a growing fascination. \"Fine... I'll do your little... test.\" She replied, becoming more susceptible to Kaa's suggestions and unconsciously leaning forward to get a better look.\n\n\"Excellent! Now then, let us begin...\" The Snake grinned, excitement running through his body as he slithered closer. His eyes quickly blossomed into a kaleidoscope of captivating colors, spiraling wildly. \"Cease your worrying, just relax and enjoy the view. Immerse yourself in the colors…\"\n\nAs his hypnotic eyes filled her view, the young woman's scrunched, angered face slowly melted into childlike wonder.
