"writing": "Judy Hopps, with her badge gleaming against her navy uniform, pushed aside a broad leaf as she navigated the dense undergrowth of Zootopia’s Rainforest District, the humid air hung heavy with a thick mist that clinged to her fur like a thick blanket. Her ears twitching as she took in the cacophony of jungle sounds – the screech of exotic birds, the rustle of unseen creatures in the canopy above, the constant drip, drip, drip of moisture.\n\n“Still nothing…” Judy sighed as she turned her communicator on, her voice a little strained as she pushed deeper into the emerald labyrinth. “Hey Nick, you still there?”\n\nShe heard her partner's lazy sarcastic reply through the device. [Always Carrots, you enjoying the local ambiance? Sounds like you’re having a blast in the salad bar.]\n\n“Hardly a blast. Just hotter and wetter than Little Rodentia in July.” Judy rolled her eyes with a chuckle, though it was tinged with a hint of weariness as she wiped a bead of sweat from her brow. “Look, I've got this handled. I’m sure she hasn’t gotten too far.” She added, although even to her own ears, her voice lacked conviction.\n\n[Just be careful. Bellwether’s a slippery sheep, Judy. Maybe she doubled back to Tundratown, trying to blend in with the… well, you know…] Nick trailed off, his voice dipping into a more playful insinuation.\n\nThe Rabbit sighed as she pushed another leafy branch out of her way. “She’s far too crafty for that, Nick. The Rainforest District is perfect for disappearing. Lots of hiding spots, not a lot of eyes.” She paused, glancing around at the shadowed depths of the jungle just to make sure she hadn't missed anything. “Besides, [i]one[/i] rogue sheep? I’ve faced bigger threats.”\n\n[Ahh, the confidence of a bunny facing a Rhino.] Nick quipped, although there was a bit of concern beneath his levity. [Just… be careful, Carrots. That place can get a little… wild.]\n\n“Will do, Nick. Will do.” Judy nodded right before she ended the call and tucked the communicator back onto her belt… and let out an irritated sigh. An hour had passed since she’d started her search, and it was starting to prickle at her usually unwavering optimism.\n\nHad Bellwether even [i]come[/i] this way?\n\nMaybe the sheep had already fled Zootopia… could Bellwether really have slipped through the ZPD’s fingers?\n\nJudy shook her head, that possibility was sickening. Bellwether, the mastermind behind the savage attacks, the woolly wolf in sheep’s clothing who’d nearly plunged Zootopia into an era of fear… the thought of the sheep starting up her operations in another part of the world, subjecting innocent civilians to the same torturous experiences… it sent shivers down Judy’s spine.\n\nShe couldn't, no… she [i]wouldn't[/i] let that happen, even if it took her months of searching, she wouldn't allow Bellwether to escape her!\n\n\n[center]-----[/center]\n\n\nAs the sun rose over the lush canopy of Zootopia's Rainforest District, the light peered through small gaps in the branches and shone over Kaa’s sleeping face, warming his patterned scales.\n\nBlinking the heavy tiredness from his eyes, the immense serpent let out a tired yawn as he shifted his weight. Followed by a deep, content sigh as he glanced down at the thickest part of his coils. Bellwether’s bulge, the source of his satisfaction, was still rather prominent, occasionally wiggling very weakly, followed by a soft gurgle and a faint, muffled moan.\n\n“Mmm… you'll be keeping me full for quite a while, little Lamb…” Kaa chuckled to himself, savoring the satisfying weight within him.\n\nHowever, just as he was about to leave his secluded spot, something new caught his eye, as he glanced down to his left through a curtain of hanging vines the python was treated to the sight of a new visitor moving through the dense foliage.\n\n\"Oh, when the stars align…” Kaa cooed, his forked tongue flicking out to taste the air, even from a distance the python could appreciate the creature's rather [i]curvaceous[/i] figure, a healthy and vibrant meal despite her small size.\n\nThe visitor appeared to be an unsuspecting female rabbit, a ZPD officer judging by her uniform. She moved with a sharp, determined gait that suggested she was on a mission. Her ears were twitching as her eyes rapidly scanned the area with an intensity that told Kaa she wasn't merely on a routine patrol.\n\nShe was clearly searching for something.\n\nOr rather, [i]someone[/i]…\n\n“Looking for that little sheep, perhaps?” He whispered, eying Bellwether's bulge as a wicked grin spread across Kaa’s serpentine face. “Well, it would be rude not to offer my assistance…” He mused, his voice dripping with false sincerity.\n\nKaa carefully slithered down from the branch, moving with a liquid-like grace across the branches with barely a rustle from the leaves. The serpent's forked tongue flicked out in anticipation as he slithered towards the unsuspecting rabbit, his scaly body partially concealed by a curtain of vines while carefully arranging his coils in the thicker branches above…\n\nIt was time for [i]breakfast[/i]…\n\n\n[center]-----[/center]\n\n\nThree. Hours.\n\nFor three hours Judy had been tracking the disgraced former assistant mayor. And honestly, Judy was beginning to believe it was a dead end. After all, Bellwether [i]was[/i] clever; she had likely used the dense jungle as a smokescreen to throw the ZPD off her trail while she slipped out of the city entirely…\n\nJudy’s eyes, usually so bright with fierce determination, were shadowed with exhaustion. Her long ears, usually swivelling to catch every minute sound, drooped with fatigue, and her grey fur was matted down with humidity and sweat, and the weight of her ZPD-issue tactical vest felt like a boulder on her small frame. “I swear, if I find that sheep, I'm dragging her back by her damn ears!”\n\n[i]“…”[/i]\n\nSuddenly, her ears twitched as she heard the low roar of a waterfall up ahead. Drawn in by the promise of cool mist, she pushed through a final curtain of broad, waxy leaves and stepped into a small clearing… and was treated to the sight of fresh water cascading from a cliff into a crystal-clear pool below, kicking up a fine spray of mist that felt like a blessing on her hot face.\n\nFor just a moment, Judy allowed herself to relax, closing her eyes and just listening to the raw sounds of the waterfall. The sound was like a soothing white noise that began to wash away her fatigue, both physically and emotionally…\n\nHowever, even in her exhaustion, Judy's instincts remained honed.\n\nThrough the dominant roar of the waterfall, her sensitive ears picked up a subtle yet distinct sound… of something [i]slithering[/i] against bark.\n\nJudy stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes snapping open as every trace of fatigue vanished, now replaced by a jolt of pure adrenaline. In one fluid motion, she turned around as her hand instinctively moved towards the tranquilizer gun holstered at her hip. “Whoever you are, I [i]know[/i] you’re there!” She called out, her voice sharp and authoritative, cutting through the waterfall's roar as she glared up at the source of the noise. “Come out with your hands, paws, or… [i]whatever[/i] appendages you have where I can see them!”\n\nThe subtle rustling stopped. For a long, tense moment, the only sound was the crashing water as Judy’s heart hammered against her ribs… and then finally a voice, silken and smooth, echoed from the massive tree.\n\n“My apologies, Officer.” The serpent hissed as he slowly slithered out from behind the curtain of hanging vines and thick leaves, his head was followed by a section of thick, muscular coils, which slithered through the air with an unnerving grace. “No need for weapons, I'm harmless…”\n \n“Officer Hopps, ZPD.” She announced, her voice firm and professional. Seeing that he wasn’t making any aggressive moves, she allowed her paw to slightly move away from her sidearm, though her posture remained tense. “And it’s [i]not[/i] a good idea to sneak up on an officer of the law.”\n\n“Fair enough, Officer. But I assure you, I was just enjoying the sun before spotting you…” Kaa chuckled as he subtly slithered closer, allowing more of his long body to glide through the air while his forked tongue flicked out, tasting the air… and her scent. “...and I was merely curious… one does not often see a dedicated officer of the law so deep in this part of the jungle after all.” The python continued, allowing a brief pulse of his hypnotic spirals to flow through his eyes, just enough to induce a subtle sense of dizziness… yet too quick for the rabbit to sense anything was amiss. “and it's possibly dangerous for a small, delect-erm, [i]dedicated[/i] rabbit to be all alone out here.”\n\nEven as the python spoke, Judy refused to relax her stance, her eyes narrowing as she took in the snake's immense size as well as his… admittedly mesmerizing scales.\n\nHis eyes, however, were what held her attention. For a split second, Judy noticed a subtle, almost imperceptible pulse of colors from his eyes.\n\nA brief, soft ripple of cerulean blue…\n\n…followed by a flash of deep purple…\n\n…and then it was gone.\n\nFrom the rabbit’s perspective, the whole world seemed to tilt as a wave of light-headedness washed over her for just a fleeting moment. It was a subtle yet pleasant, floaty sensation that spread throughout her mind, followed by an inexplicable lightness entering her limbs-\n\n[i]‘Ugh, what the heck was that…?’[/i] Judy thought, blinking hard and shaking her head in an attempt to shake off her momentary dizziness. [i]‘I must be way more tired than I thought…’[/i] She thought, attributing the dizzy spell to her lack of sleep and the overwhelming humidity.\n\n“I… I-I’m actually here on Official Business…” Judy explained, trying to keep her posture firm and her tone professional, despite the prickle of unease crawling up her spine… but she couldn't ignore that her heart was thumping a little faster than normal. “Y’see, I'm looking for someone.”\n\n“Oh?” Kaa feigned interest, his head tilting slightly. “A lost tourist perhaps?”\n\n“Not exactly. She's…a wanted fugitive named Dawn Bellwether.” Judy continued, keeping her voice steady while her eyes remained locked on the serpent. His movements almost seemed… hypnotic in their own right, a fluid, silent dance of muscle and scale. “She was last seen fleeing into the section of the jungle…”\n\n“A [i]fugitive[/i]? In [i]my-[/i]erm, [i]this[/i] part of the jungle? Oh my, that sounds [i]sooo[/i] very dangerous.” Kaa’s head tilted slightly, his eyes seeming to gleam with amusement at the mention of his… [i]dinner[/i]. His voice then lowered to a confidential, almost intimate whisper. “Perhaps I can be of assistance…?” He asked, subtly closing the distance between himself and the rabbit, his head swaying gently as he let loose another faint shimmer of hypnotic colors from his eyes, a flash so subtle that while Judy barely registered it, but it was enough to soften the sharp edges of her caution just a fraction, blurring her focus.\n\n“Oh! Any information you have would be [i]very[/i] helpful.” Judy smiled as she straightened up slightly, trying to shake off the sudden wave of lethargy. “She's a small sheep, wears glasses and a standard prison jumpsuit?” She explained, her voice a little softer than she intended as she watched the snake’s reaction, hoping for any flicker of recognition.\n\nKaa’s eyes widened slightly in a perfect imitation of surprise. “Hmm… Bellwether? Bell-wether… mmmm…” He repeated, drawing out the name. “Why, yes… I think… I did see someone like that. Just yesterday, perhaps? Heading deeper into the jungle.”\n\nHope flickered in Judy’s eyes and she unconsciously took a step closer, any sliver of nagging doubt she had suddenly vanishing. “Really? Are you sure it was her? Which way? Did you see where she went? Any possible info you have would be greatly appreciated!” She immediately started asking rapid fire questions, eagerness overriding her better judgment. The strange dizziness from moments ago seemed to have dissipated, replaced by a focused urgency.\n\n“I’d love to help…” Kaa agreed smoothly, his voice like honeyed venom as he leaned in closer, slowly and subtly letting his hypnotic spirals build up. “But first, why don't you come a little… [i]closer[/i]~?” The Python whispered as his eyes locked onto Judy's and he let the full force of his hypnotic gaze fall upon her. Rings of color began to bloom from his pupils once more, expanding and contracting in a silent, mesmerizing rhythm. But this time the effect was no subtle fleeting flash, but a full, concentrated dose of irresistible colors, overwhelming the rabbit’s senses.\n\nImmediately, Judy felt a strange warmth spreading through her, followed by a comfortable drowsiness. “What are… I-I… w-whuh…?” She stammered out in an attempt to question the sudden display, but the words got caught in her throat as her gaze became fixated on the shifting, swirling colors.\n\nHer resistance swiftly melted away as her instincts now compelled her to look into the serpent's eyes. And soon enough the world around her seemed to fade away, with the roar of the waterfall being replaced by the soft, sibilant hum of Kaa’s voice. Her concentrated thoughts began to soften and blur. The urgent, nagging voice of duty—Bellwether, the search, the mission, her duty—was growing fainter, like a distant radio signal, replaced by nothing but the swirling colors.\n\n\"Closer, little rabbit. You look so very [i]weary[/i]~” Kaa cooed, his voice dropping to a mesmerizing drone that seemed to seep into the very air around Judy. His head started moving in a slow, swaying dance, like a pendulum gracefully swinging from side to side. The rhythm perfectly matched the rhythm of the colors as each slow, deliberate pulse drew Judy's gaze. \"You've been working so very, [i]very[/i] hard… you deserve a rest. A long… [i]peaceful[/i] rest~\"\n\nJudy felt a strange pull, an irresistible urge to obey. It was as if invisible silken threads were wrapping around her, drawing her inexorably forward. Kaa's voice now resonated deep within her mind, a hypnotic command that bypassed all reason, all apprehension. It was a siren song, a whispered promise of solace she couldn’t, and didn’t want to, resist. Her legs moved of their own accord, each step lighter, more eager than the last, carrying her towards the snake… towards the hypnotic depths of his entrancing eyes.\n\nJudy blissfully stared straight into Kaa's spiraling eyes, giving no resistance as the pupils of her own eyes shrank down to pinpricks and the mesmerizing colors blossomed from the center, mirroring the serpent's hypnotic gaze and completely engulfing her vision. It was… [i]beautiful[/i]… a swirling vortex of captivating color that threatened to swallow her whole. She was lost, adrift in the kaleidoscope of Kaa's gaze, and in that loss, she found an intoxicating sense of peace, a feeling of inevitability.\n\n\"R-Ruh… r-rest…?\" Judy echoed, her own voice sounding distant and dreamy. Her ears, which had been pricked in high alert, perpetually scanning for danger, now drooped, heavy yet relaxed like wilted flowers. Her paw, which had been ready to draw her weapon, spring into action at a moment's notice, now hung limply at her side, devoid of strength or purpose. Even her eyelids felt as heavy as stone, pulling downwards with irresistible force.\n\n“Yes my dear, rest~” Kaa whispered, his smile widening as he felt the shift in her, the subtle crumbling of her defenses, her sharp, intelligent will dissolving like sugar in water, sweet and yielding. “Just relax. Let go of your worries. There is no fugitive here… no Bellwether… only peace… only comfort…”\n\nA small, logical part of Judy’s brain screamed in alarm, a desperate cry from a distant shore. [i]‘This… this is wrong… it's… a trick…? Gotta… fight… it…’[/i] But the warning was muffled, distorted, trapped beneath layers of warm, syrupy bliss that threatened to drown it entirely.\n\n[i]Why[/i] would she fight this?\n\nThis felt… [i]wonderful[/i].\n\nThe weight of her police vest, a constant reminder of her duty, the bone-deep exhaustion that clung to her after weeks of relentless pursuit, the possibility of failure that pricked at her conscience… it was all melting away, dissolving into nothingness, replaced by a sense of tranquility she hadn't realized she craved. The spiraling colors deepened, pulling her further down, further into the abyss of pleasure…\n\n\"That's it, little bunny.\" Kaa hissed triumphantly, watching with predatory satisfaction as he watched his prey, usually so full of spark and intelligence, become dull and unfocused. \"Just… trust in me…\" He hissed as the rest of his immense body finally emerged from the tangled branches above. “Will do, Nick. Will do.” Judy nodded right before she ended the call and tucked the communicator back onto her belt… and let out an irritated sigh. An hour had passed since she’d started her search, and it was starting to prickle at her usually unwavering optimism.
Had Bellwether even come this way?
Maybe the sheep had already fled Zootopia… could Bellwether really have slipped through the ZPD’s fingers?
Judy shook her head, that possibility was sickening. Bellwether, the mastermind behind the savage attacks, the woolly wolf in sheep’s clothing who’d nearly plunged Zootopia into an era of fear… the thought of the sheep starting up her operations in another part of the world, subjecting innocent civilians to the same torturous experiences… it sent shivers down Judy’s spine.
She couldn't, no… she wouldn't let that happen, even if it took her months of searching, she wouldn't allow Bellwether to escape her!

As the sun rose over the lush canopy of Zootopia's Rainforest District, the light peered through small gaps in the branches and shone over Kaa’s sleeping face, warming his patterned scales.
Blinking the heavy tiredness from his eyes, the immense serpent let out a tired yawn as he shifted his weight. Followed by a deep, content sigh as he glanced down at the thickest part of his coils. Bellwether’s bulge, the source of his satisfaction, was still rather prominent, occasionally wiggling very weakly, followed by a soft gurgle and a faint, muffled moan.
“Mmm… you'll be keeping me full for quite a while, little Lamb…” Kaa chuckled to himself, savoring the satisfying weight within him.
However, just as he was about to leave his secluded spot, something new caught his eye, as he glanced down to his left through a curtain of hanging vines the python was treated to the sight of a new visitor moving through the dense foliage.
"Oh, when the stars align…” Kaa cooed, his forked tongue flicking out to taste the air, even from a distance the python could appreciate the creature's rather curvaceous figure, a healthy and vibrant meal despite her small size.
The visitor appeared to be an unsuspecting female rabbit, a ZPD officer judging by her uniform. She moved with a sharp, determined gait that suggested she was on a mission. Her ears were twitching as her eyes rapidly scanned the area with an intensity that told Kaa she wasn't merely on a routine patrol.
She was clearly searching for something.
Or rather, someone…
“Looking for that little sheep, perhaps?” He whispered, eying Bellwether's bulge as a wicked grin spread across Kaa’s serpentine face. “Well, it would be rude not to offer my assistance…” He mused, his voice dripping with false sincerity.
Kaa carefully slithered down from the branch, moving with a liquid-like grace across the branches with barely a rustle from the leaves. The serpent's forked tongue flicked out in anticipation as he slithered towards the unsuspecting rabbit, his scaly body partially concealed by a curtain of vines while carefully arranging his coils in the thicker branches above…
It was time for breakfast…

For three hours Judy had been tracking the disgraced former assistant mayor. And honestly, Judy was beginning to believe it was a dead end. After all, Bellwether was clever; she had likely used the dense jungle as a smokescreen to throw the ZPD off her trail while she slipped out of the city entirely…
Judy’s eyes, usually so bright with fierce determination, were shadowed with exhaustion. Her long ears, usually swivelling to catch every minute sound, drooped with fatigue, and her grey fur was matted down with humidity and sweat, and the weight of her ZPD-issue tactical vest felt like a boulder on her small frame. “I swear, if I find that sheep, I'm dragging her back by her damn ears!”

Suddenly, her ears twitched as she heard the low roar of a waterfall up ahead. Drawn in by the promise of cool mist, she pushed through a final curtain of broad, waxy leaves and stepped into a small clearing… and was treated to the sight of fresh water cascading from a cliff into a crystal-clear pool below, kicking up a fine spray of mist that felt like a blessing on her hot face.
For just a moment, Judy allowed herself to relax, closing her eyes and just listening to the raw sounds of the waterfall. The sound was like a soothing white noise that began to wash away her fatigue, both physically and emotionally…
However, even in her exhaustion, Judy's instincts remained honed.
Through the dominant roar of the waterfall, her sensitive ears picked up a subtle yet distinct sound… of something slithering against bark.
Judy stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes snapping open as every trace of fatigue vanished, now replaced by a jolt of pure adrenaline. In one fluid motion, she turned around as her hand instinctively moved towards the tranquilizer gun holstered at her hip. “Whoever you are, I know you’re there!” She called out, her voice sharp and authoritative, cutting through the waterfall's roar as she glared up at the source of the noise. “Come out with your hands, paws, or… whatever appendages you have where I can see them!”
The subtle rustling stopped. For a long, tense moment, the only sound was the crashing water as Judy’s heart hammered against her ribs… and then finally a voice, silken and smooth, echoed from the massive tree.
“My apologies, Officer.” The serpent hissed as he slowly slithered out from behind the curtain of hanging vines and thick leaves, his head was followed by a section of thick, muscular coils, which slithered through the air with an unnerving grace. “No need for weapons, I'm harmless…”
“Officer Hopps, ZPD.” She announced, her voice firm and professional. Seeing that he wasn’t making any aggressive moves, she allowed her paw to slightly move away from her sidearm, though her posture remained tense. “And it’s not a good idea to sneak up on an officer of the law.”
“Fair enough, Officer. But I assure you, I was just enjoying the sun before spotting you…” Kaa chuckled as he subtly slithered closer, allowing more of his long body to glide through the air while his forked tongue flicked out, tasting the air… and her scent. “...and I was merely curious… one does not often see a dedicated officer of the law so deep in this part of the jungle after all.” The python continued, allowing a brief pulse of his hypnotic spirals to flow through his eyes, just enough to induce a subtle sense of dizziness… yet too quick for the rabbit to sense anything was amiss. “and it's possibly dangerous for a small, delect-erm, dedicated rabbit to be all alone out here.”
Even as the python spoke, Judy refused to relax her stance, her eyes narrowing as she took in the snake's immense size as well as his… admittedly mesmerizing scales.
His eyes, however, were what held her attention. For a split second, Judy noticed a subtle, almost imperceptible pulse of colors from his eyes.
A brief, soft ripple of cerulean blue…
…followed by a flash of deep purple…
…and then it was gone.
From the rabbit’s perspective, the whole world seemed to tilt as a wave of light-headedness washed over her for just a fleeting moment. It was a subtle yet pleasant, floaty sensation that spread throughout her mind, followed by an inexplicable lightness entering her limbs-
‘Ugh, what the heck was that…?’ Judy thought, blinking hard and shaking her head in an attempt to shake off her momentary dizziness. ‘I must be way more tired than I thought…’ She thought, attributing the dizzy spell to her lack of sleep and the overwhelming humidity.
“I… I-I’m actually here on Official Business…” Judy explained, trying to keep her posture firm and her tone professional, despite the prickle of unease crawling up her spine… but she couldn't ignore that her heart was thumping a little faster than normal. “Y’see, I'm looking for someone.”
“Oh?” Kaa feigned interest, his head tilting slightly. “A lost tourist perhaps?”
“Not exactly. She's…a wanted fugitive named Dawn Bellwether.” Judy continued, keeping her voice steady while her eyes remained locked on the serpent. His movements almost seemed… hypnotic in their own right, a fluid, silent dance of muscle and scale. “She was last seen fleeing into the section of the jungle…”
“A fugitive? In my-erm, this part of the jungle? Oh my, that sounds sooo very dangerous.” Kaa’s head tilted slightly, his eyes seeming to gleam with amusement at the mention of his… dinner. His voice then lowered to a confidential, almost intimate whisper. “Perhaps I can be of assistance…?” He asked, subtly closing the distance between himself and the rabbit, his head swaying gently as he let loose another faint shimmer of hypnotic colors from his eyes, a flash so subtle that while Judy barely registered it, but it was enough to soften the sharp edges of her caution just a fraction, blurring her focus.
“Oh! Any information you have would be very helpful.” Judy smiled as she straightened up slightly, trying to shake off the sudden wave of lethargy. “She's a small sheep, wears glasses and a standard prison jumpsuit?” She explained, her voice a little softer than she intended as she watched the snake’s reaction, hoping for any flicker of recognition.
Kaa’s eyes widened slightly in a perfect imitation of surprise. “Hmm… Bellwether? Bell-wether… mmmm…” He repeated, drawing out the name. “Why, yes… I think… I did see someone like that. Just yesterday, perhaps? Heading deeper into the jungle.”
Hope flickered in Judy’s eyes and she unconsciously took a step closer, any sliver of nagging doubt she had suddenly vanishing. “Really? Are you sure it was her? Which way? Did you see where she went? Any possible info you have would be greatly appreciated!” She immediately started asking rapid fire questions, eagerness overriding her better judgment. The strange dizziness from moments ago seemed to have dissipated, replaced by a focused urgency.
“I’d love to help…” Kaa agreed smoothly, his voice like honeyed venom as he leaned in closer, slowly and subtly letting his hypnotic spirals build up. “But first, why don't you come a little… closer~?” The Python whispered as his eyes locked onto Judy's and he let the full force of his hypnotic gaze fall upon her. Rings of color began to bloom from his pupils once more, expanding and contracting in a silent, mesmerizing rhythm. But this time the effect was no subtle fleeting flash, but a full, concentrated dose of irresistible colors, overwhelming the rabbit’s senses.
Immediately, Judy felt a strange warmth spreading through her, followed by a comfortable drowsiness. “What are… I-I… w-whuh…?” She stammered out in an attempt to question the sudden display, but the words got caught in her throat as her gaze became fixated on the shifting, swirling colors.
Her resistance swiftly melted away as her instincts now compelled her to look into the serpent's eyes. And soon enough the world around her seemed to fade away, with the roar of the waterfall being replaced by the soft, sibilant hum of Kaa’s voice. Her concentrated thoughts began to soften and blur. The urgent, nagging voice of duty—Bellwether, the search, the mission, her duty—was growing fainter, like a distant radio signal, replaced by nothing but the swirling colors.
"Closer, little rabbit. You look so very weary~” Kaa cooed, his voice dropping to a mesmerizing drone that seemed to seep into the very air around Judy. His head started moving in a slow, swaying dance, like a pendulum gracefully swinging from side to side. The rhythm perfectly matched the rhythm of the colors as each slow, deliberate pulse drew Judy's gaze. "You've been working so very, very hard… you deserve a rest. A long… peaceful rest~"
Judy felt a strange pull, an irresistible urge to obey. It was as if invisible silken threads were wrapping around her, drawing her inexorably forward. "R-Ruh… r-rest…?" Judy echoed, her own voice sounding distant and dreamy. Her ears, which had been pricked in high alert, perpetually scanning for danger, now drooped, heavy yet relaxed like wilted flowers. Her paw, which had been ready to draw her weapon, spring into action at a moment's notice, now hung limply at her side, devoid of strength or purpose. Even her eyelids felt as heavy as stone, pulling downwards with irresistible force.
“Yes my dear, rest~” Kaa whispered, his smile widening as he felt the shift in her, the subtle crumbling of her defenses, her sharp, intelligent will dissolving like sugar in water, sweet and yielding. “Just relax. Let go of your worries. There is no fugitive here… no Bellwether… only peace… only comfort…”
A small, logical part of Judy’s brain screamed in alarm, a desperate cry from a distant shore. ‘This… this is wrong… it's… a trick…? Gotta… fight… it…’ But the warning was muffled, distorted, trapped beneath layers of warm, syrupy bliss that threatened to drown it entirely.
Why would she fight this?
This felt… wonderful.
The weight of her police vest, a constant reminder of her duty, the bone-deep exhaustion that clung to her after weeks of relentless pursuit, the possibility of failure that pricked at her conscience… it was all melting away, dissolving into nothingness, replaced by a sense of tranquility she hadn't realized she craved. “Yes… trust… s-so tired…” Judy mumbled, her head lolling from side to side with a blissful, vacant smile. The fight had been all but drained from her, replaced by an unsettling docility.
“Yes… let go of everything. Let Kaa take care of you now.” Kaa purred as his forked tongue flicked out in triumph. The plucky, determined officer, the bane of Zootopia's criminal underworld, was now little more than a warm, breathing doll in his grasp.
“Now then, little officer… I do believe you're quite… overdressed for the jungle's humidity?” Kaa continued as his thick coils began to ghost around Judy's swaying body, moving with a languid grace while refraining some coiling her up just yet. “All that restricting fabric… surely you'd be much more comfortable if you… strip for me~" The python suggested in a more seductive tone.
Falling deeper and deeper under the serpent's spell, Judy’s body responded before her mind could even register the command. Her paws, as if guided by an unseen puppeteer, instinctively went to the buttons of her police vest. They found the top button of her blue uniform shirt, and with a delicate twist, it came free. One by one, she proceeded to unfasten the buttons as a faint smile touched her lips, a smile that held a nascent sultriness, as well as a hint of something feral and alluring. As her fingersl fumbled with the last buttons of her police vest, a strange sense of detachment washed over her as she shrugged it off, letting the heavy vest fall to the damp earth with a muffled thud.
“Yes… that’s it… let go of those… city skins…” Kaa hissed, his voice like a silken embrace wrapping around her mind like his warm coils. “It feels sooo much better to remove all those layers… to feel the jungle air against your bare fur… doesn't it?” The python cooed, his head hovering mere inches from Judy's, his hypnotic spirals pulling her deeper, drowning what little remained of the Officer's mind.
“Mmmm… yeessss…” A soft, breathy sigh of pure content escaped Judy's lips as her paws moved to the buttons of her shirt, unfastening them one by one and exposing the soft, grey fur of her chest and abdomen to the humid night air. Nodding obediently, Judy's paws drifted to the heavy utility belt. The clasp, which she could normally undo in a second, now presented a fascinating puzzle. Her fingers traced its metal contours before unbuckling it with a deliberate *click*. The weight of it vanished from her hips, and she let it fall to the leafy floor with a muffled clatter. Each piece that fell felt like another layer of her inhibitions dissolving, replaced by a tantalizing sense of freedom. The python then filled another shiver course through his prey and let out a low, amused chuckle.
