The losers are send to a Pilgrimage towards the Grand Temple of Fertility.
Burit marriages last until one of the partners are dead but in many cases those marriages are only of a formal endeavour as they are very open minded of having different partners and even sexual performates on streets are known, as long there aren’T children around or too many outsiders.
In fact if a Bunrit is having guests, it is for them a sign of biggest respect to have a child with the guest. Female non-bunrit travelers who are invited are highly warned to either take very strong protection potions or have a very carefully formulated decline to that honor as Burits are highly fertile and also very proud on that aspect. Declining the offer to sexual intercourse is often interpret as doubting the others ability to perform.
Thought due to that high fertility and the resulting Birth Rates, Burits are running often in risks of famines which why they sell members of their own species off. EIther to demons or as slaves. Most Burits that are leaving their country are either become adventurers due to the already mentioned skills at martial arts and a good talent for offensive orientated magics, making them highly respected hybrid fighters or enter the erotic districts of towns where they offer their bodies as a service.
