"description_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Sawiz meets with his team, and orders up a headquarters to set up shop in.</span>",
"writing": "At some point, Sawiz had fallen asleep. He woke back up a few hours later, and began preparations to host a team. He secured a warehouse downtown under an assumed identity and began buying up assets to fill it, from vehicles to a command terminal. He would have them set up in the warehouse later. He decided he would spend the rest of the evening vetting his would-be team. He contacted the Decker and Rigger, and asked them to meet him at an underground bar not far from where he lived, “for drinks on me”, he had told them.\nThe Street Samurai would be busy doing other things tonight, based on her response. He would have to vet her later. Sawiz walked to the bar, still turning around every once in a while when he felt rattled to make sure he wasn’t being followed. After the setup he’d been through, he was still feeling paranoid. He took the back alleys to the bar rather than the main streets and corresponding with the team via commlink, managed to get all 3 team mates to one table at the bar.\nThe Rigger, “Circuitbreaker”, was a male red fox with a ton of readily visible cyberware. His neon blue glowing datajack in his forehead still managed to draw the most attention, likely due to the glowing. He also bore some prominent cybereyes, which Sawiz could not identify, as well as two cyberlegs and one cyber arm. There may have been more or less cyberware, but Sawiz wasn’t particularly well versed in the topic, and couldn’t make out one way or another what any of it did or where he might be hiding more. There was a reason that the Street Samurai was on his list.\nThe Decker, Jerikha, had a datajack as well but that was all the cyberware that Sawiz could make out. She had brought her deck along, which she had slung across her back. She was a female rat. Her deck wasn’t a corporate piece that Sawiz could identify but then, Sawiz was as good with decking as he was with cyberware, which was to say not at all. Sawiz ordered a round of synthohol for the table, and began his vetting process with Jerikha.\nAfter all he’d already known Circuitbreaker from previous runs, though they’d never met in person like this. He started off by introducing the two, Circuitbreaker’s name eliciting an “Oh, are you a decker too?” from Jerikha. Of course, Circuitbreaker responded in the negative, resulting in an amusingly confused expression from Jerikha. \nThen Sawiz began asking both rather non-invasive questions. “Where’d you learn to do what you do?” For example, to which he would get an evasive “I’m self-taught” from both Jerikha and an “I picked up a few things here and there.” From Circuitbreaker. Of course with shadow runners there was no such thing as a simple exchange of information, and everything had its price.\nStill, fragments of information could be picked up, for example Circuitbreaker was likely self-taught from the matrix and books, while Jerikha had learned from trial and error. Of course, from Jerikha’s file, he knew that she had also had corporate training, so he decided to pursue that line of questioning further.\n“What did you learn when you were a wage-slave?” He asks Jerikha specifically. “I learned a lot about ICE. Both how to make it and how to subvert it. I utilize a lot of what I learned in my ESPs.”\nSawiz grinned at the actual acquisition of information, but let that thread lie for now. It was typically best not to dig too deep into a runner’s corporate past if you wished to befriend them.\n“So your ESPs are unique then, working like ICE? Or are they simply more effective ICE Breakers?”\nJerikha shook her head. “Neither and both. My ESPs won’t deliver direct damage to another decker like Black IC would, for example. I’m limited to dumpshock like any other decker would be. My ESPs just utilize some subroutines that can commonly infiltrate and disarm ICE, as long as it’s a type of ICE I’ve worked with before.”\n“Oh, I see.” Sawiz began, “so you can effectively dispatch many Intrusion Countermeasures, but a Spider for example would pose an even threat to you.” A spider was a decker that sat on a system and made sure everything was running properly. “Precisely,” Jerikha said.\nSawiz turned his attention to Circuitbreaker, ordering another round of drinks as the party finished their first. “We’ve run together a few times, but we’ve never met in person before now. Why is that?” Circuitbreaker just shrugged. “I’ve never seen a need to, to be honest. We worked together just fine without meeting, so I didn’t feel the urge to add a layer of complexity to our relationship by meeting in person.” He twitched an ear in mild irritation, which Sawiz noticed and committed to memory. “Any reason other than that?” Sawiz asked.\n“Nope.” Circuitbreaker was going to be steadfast in his proposed reasoning apparently, so Sawiz backed off once again. He didn’t want to find himself in an altercation with a team mate, even if it was probable that he would have the upper hand without the Rigger’s drones hanging around. One never knew, all that chrome Circuitbreaker was sporting could give him more than an adequate advantage in combat. Besides, as a Mage, Sawiz was not effective in hand-to-hand combat.\nSawiz dropped his line of questioning for now, and ordered one last round of synthohol before the group would split up for the night. He would have to question Felicity separately, which worked just as well, since he’d have to have her look over the documentation on the slap patch anyway.",
