In the middle of a bloody war between the Heaven Kingdom (populated with angelic beings) & the Hellfire Kingdom (a place full of Demonic devils from many species) lies a place called the Underworld, a place of refuge for those who just didn't want to be involved in the war. At one time, a female Angelhedgehog & the male demonic devilhedgehog who was king of Hellfire met on the field of battle. She served & protected, but he sought for the destruction of everything. They fought with each other in many a battlefield over years, slowly admiring one another & then falling in love. The angelhedgehog began to reside with the demon king in his Kingdom, then eventually mothered three girls, each after a year of each other.
Eventually, the warring kingdoms called a ceasefire, making peace with each other. Five years after this, the three girls - Cecilia the oldest, Sasha the middle, & Jelly (the nickname given to the youngest) - have all grown up to youth. Even though the kingdom were to fall to Cecilia, being next in line for the throne, she does not desire the position, and so has given it up to her sister Sasha. This middle child is mostly like her father, & as such he expressed his desire for her to be the next leader of Hellfire. Both Cecilia and Jelly strike out on their own to forge their own kingdoms, leaving Hellfire to Sasha upon her father's retirement a year later.
The newly-crowned Queen Sasha vowed to protect her Kingdom. She showed compassion to her people, and the people were pleased & dear to new ruler. The talk of the kingdom concerning her was, she had the looks from her mother, but mostly her father's attitude (despite looking like neither Angelhedgehog of Demonhedgehog). Her floating crown, however, left no dispute - she was queen of Hellfire.
One day however, a new war began. The Fallen Angels - those who were outcasted from the Heaven Kingdom - lashed out in retaliation against their former kin, & attacked the Hellfire kingdom as well. These Fallen Angels sought more power, & were willing to upset the precarious peace between the two kingdoms to obtain it. Queen Sasha ordered her armies to start attacking the Fallen Angels in tandem with the forces of Heaven, and within a few hours the insurgents were defeated. The question remained in everyone's mind: "will they return?"
So one day Queen Sasha had the idea to go up to the surface world, so she went up to the surface. Upon reaching it, she saw a beautiful city, and could not help but go walk through the streets admiring its size. Her visit did not go unnoticed, though, as a lot of town people stopped & gawked at the mysterious, beautiful new visitor, unknowing of her identity as Queen of Hellfire. Sasha was not against meeting new people given her kind and heartwarming nature (even more so than her parents' races), and she did make new friends during her travels. Queen Sasha now lives in this city, ruling Hellfire from a distance, unable to escape her admiration of the surface world, but also unwilling to let go of her duties as queen.
Often she would receive word of hostile actions on the surface, as rumors of Fallen Angel activity increase. She would frequently go on missions with her friends & allies to investigate such activities. While she does have good weapons skills, her combat proficiency isn't the best, & she often does mess things up. However, she never gives up, & always strives to improve. It is rumored that she even connected with Sonic the Hedgehog & his team on more than one occasion as she traveled the world, assisting them in their fight against Dr. Eggman. Her assistance is always met with thanks for helping them, letting her get to know them & them her, including her identity as Queen of Hellfire Kingdom. She explained her story to them, & upon finishing her tale they answered her with great respect for her choice to stay on the surface, & payed her respects as a Queen. However, she told them not to respect her as a Queen, but rather as a friend. They do, & their friendship remains to this day.
Fun facts:
- She not related to Shadow the Hedgehog, or to any other characters in the franchise
- She has fangs that can be hidden; most of the time she shows them, though.
- She drink blood for energy (knowing to her half-devilhedgehog genetics)
- She can channel her demonic energy to transform into a darker form: her tail grows long & sharp, her claws, teeth sharpen and grow longer, her eyes turn yellow (maybe she grows horns or wings? unsure yet)
- Her eyes can turn yellow or her demonic tail whenever she wants
- If you ever see her really angry, you can tell by her yellow eyes (or normal). Rest in piece, if you ever do.
- Even though she's half angelhedgehog, she mostly favors her demonic side.
- If she could transform to show her angelic side, she'd probably have a lighter skin color, maybe a halo & wings? who knows?
- She dont like trusts others who call themselves "princess"
- She can be flirty/naughty with guys, if a situation really requires it. She likes to play hard-to-get, & always loves playing "the bad girl".
- She can't get pregnant (It's nothing medically serious thing, that's a long story)
