Ever play Jenga? I swear, putting together this scene was a lot like that, each model added to the scene made the whole process fractionally smaller, and overall more difficult to pose. With my rig, rendering 7 models in realtime basically dropped my computer to a crawl. VAM, while a fun toy to play with, and I find it very intuitive to use, is very poorly optimized, and only makes use of as single core, so my quad core CPU is virtually useless. Not to big an issue when I'm doing only 2-3 models in a single scene, but 7 was pushing it. Any more and I might have just crashed the engine.
I probably made it more difficult for myself in the planning stage because I wanted to avoid sticking sexual partners together that had already been paired.
Overall, between all the posing, tweaking, and compensating for physics, this took me about 3 hours.
