Her father, Roscoe Lacey, had gently admonished her for this.\n\n\"These planes were the workhorses of the inter-war years.\" He had said, \"This particular one is famous for running cargo over the East Pacific in an area plagued by air pirates.\" Well... that wasn't the most prominent thing on Skye's mind right now.
