"There was a chair at the back, it's gone!"
Hello everyone, here's another drawing, this time of Gao Mikado's three buddies from the anime Buddyfight.
This was certainly an ambitious drawing on my part, I wanted to do the three of them interacting in some way, and the first idea was to do them in small form, but when I finished the first sketches, I didn't see much fun in it, so I decided to do them in large form.
With that in mind, I tried to do some sketches, which didn't work out, until I was impatiently trying to imagine how I would do them in the same drawing, but in a different way to how I had drawn them before, and in a way that respected the difference in size that I perceived in the three characters through the reference images.
That's when I decided to look for references, third-party works that had all three, and it didn't help. So disappointed, already thinking of discarding the idea and the various reference images I'd already downloaded (thanks to the Fandom website for making them easily accessible), I hopelessly drew a chair in the middle of the image.
And after thinking about it for a while, it gave me an idea: why not draw them on this chair, one on top of the other, following the order of the anime's release, and it kind of lit up my eyes and brain, which were already blacking out from sleep and disappointment.
Thanks to everyone for the patience and support that the latest drawings have acquired, it kind of motivates me to dedicate my large amount of free time to continuing drawing, and I'd like to ask for suggestions, ideas or things like that for the next drawings, since I'm kind of running out of ideas of what to draw.
