"writing": "Neither Loona nor Rai asked what she'd gone through that day. Now was not the time. They knew that all she needed now was a shoulder to cry on. And Loona was more than happy to give her that. They would get her back to town of course, back to help, back to a bath, and hopefully, back to those who could help her with what Brene had put her through. Soon after Rai recovered, Veera fainted from a mix of distress and sadness. While Loona was ready to leave right there and then, Rai said he had something yet to do.\n\nIt was then that Loona thought to quickly check the house. Rai told her to take her time, as he needed some for himself. Nonetheless, he resolved to watch over Veera as he set about his task. She didn't know what exactly she would find in there. Or what she was hoping to find.\n\nA tied up, tear-filled fainted Shia laying on the bed with his limbs bound was not either of those things.\n\nLuckily, she was able to cut him loose thanks to a dagger neatly resting on a nearby table. Loona could only guess that it was one of the items Brene stole as a bandit. Once he was freed, she inspected the little house further. Though she looked, she could find nothing else of interest. Brene didn't keep any sort of diary, nor could she find anything else of interest, other than a small amount of poke, barely enough to pay for a day's drink and meal let alone live on. She could only assume that the ex-guilder had more stashed somewhere else, but they had neither the time nor the inclination to go look for it. She decided to just leave it, and the shack, for some other guilder or dungeon dweller to stumble upon. The linoone could only hope its next occupant would see less horrible things done inside the shack than Brene had committed.\nEither that, or the dungeon would shift again, and smash the shack and all of the horrible memories contained within to pieces. As far as Loona was concerned, that was fine too.\nHaving no further use for anything in the shack, she quietly took the still sleeping Shia over her shoulder and stepped back outside, only to find Rai hovering over a freshly dug mound of sand, and the body of Brene nowhere in sight. It didn't take a psychic type to figure out what he'd just done.\n\n\"Because...\" Rai responded when Loona asked why he bothered to bury such a rotten mon like Brene. \"Brene was not always like this. I know it's hard for you to grasp, but once, she was the best friend I could ever have. And... my first ever real friend. One who worked me through my own trauma, one who taught me everything I know, for all the good it did, and who was there when my own past threatened its ugly head. I... I know we won... but... I still feel like we failed. I ... I have so many regrets right now. I wish... I could have helped her before she turned into this. I wish I could have done something, I wish...\"\n\nLoona, while still carrying Shia, put a hand comfortingly on his shoulder, her face wearing concern.\n\n\"There's nothing you could have done Rai. And she had to be stopped.\" She told him. \"If Veera hadn't put her down, it'd be us in there.\"\n\n\"I know, I know.\" Rai sighed in defeat. \"I don't blame her in the slightest. Draught and Maze alike only know what kind of terrors Brene put her through.\"\n\nA moment of silence passed between them before he turned to the freshly dug grave, and spoke once again.\n\n\"Well, goodbye, my old teacher. I'll always remember you for the best of us, not the monster you become. If nothing else... I hope your soul finally finds peace in the next world.\"\n\nLoona likewise stood in reverent silence, allowing her new friend the time he needed. Neither spoke a word as the time passed around them.\n\"Well...\" Rai finally spoke as he rose to his feet and dusted himself off. \"We should go. We still need to find our way out of this maze, and get these two back to town.\"\n\nLoona nodded as Rai took Veera over his shoulder. The two took one last look at the shack, the fresh grave mound, and made one last reflection on all of the actions that had led up to this point. On everything that had transpired on this day. Then, the two of them started on their long journey back home. Home to Sandstone, and the safety of the guild waiting for them and their two friends.\n\nBoth of them remained oblivious to the cloaked figure that had watched them from afar. With a pop, it appeared in front of the freshly dug grave. A pair of yellow, tri-toed feet set down in front of the freshly dug grave. A three-fingered, segmented arm pulled off the cloak from within, revealing the form of Ara the Abra underneath it. With a mournful frown, she set the cloak down in front of the grave. Tears come to her eyes as she struggles to find the words to say to her now deceased one-lover, but none come out. No words to be spoken.\n\nThe abra sat down, and paid respect to her now dearly departed ex lover, tears flowed from her eyes.\n\n\"I'm sorry....\" Were the only words she managed to say. Sorry for everything. For not being there when she needed her the most. For reacting the way she did when she came back.\n\nFor helping Veera take her life, to prevent her from taking more.\n\nSo many regrets, and yet, no words to say.\n\nNot that Brene could even reply anyway.\n",
