"writing": "By the time the familiar sight of Sandstone's walls greeted the pair, both were dead tired. Not a surprise in the slightest for either of them, considering what both Rai and Loona had just gone through an hour earlier, especially the latter. Loona in particular felt like she wanted to drop down into the sands, curl up, and try to make the horror of her latest encounter go away.\nRai must have sensed this was the case, as they had barely gotten into town when he asked, \"Hey, Loona, do you have a place to stay the night?\"\n\nThat question caught her off guard. Not just because of her tiredness, but because as a freshly former dungeon dweller, a 'place to stay' was a foreign concept to her. Being nomadic wanderers in the maze, the go-to 'place to stay' if a cave or something wasn't available (which it usually wasn't, and when it was, was usually occupied by something big and nasty that no one in her group wanted to deal with,) they'd just find a corner of the maze to curl up in and go to sleep. \nAs such, she hadn't even really thought of acquiring a 'place to stay' as it has never really crossed her mind until now, so she answered truthfully.\n\n\"No, I don't.\"\n\n\"I thought that was the case.\" Rai said with a tired sigh. \"You can come back with me to my flat.\"\n\nLoona looked at him.\n\n\"Er, if you want to that is.\" He quickly added. \"Not going to make you or anything. But, eh... sleeping outside in town is... kind of a bad idea, and I thought after everything that happened you might want to have a roof over your head, at least.\"\n\nLoona hesitated. On one hand, she was still a bit weary of taking offers from anyone, especially guys, after her horrible rape at the hand of piggle. But on the other hand, she really didn't have much better ideas. The only possible solution she even could think of was asking Igon, and she'd rather not. And, well, Rai seemed trustworthy enough.\n\nHe had come to save her, with nothing to gain on his own, after all.\n\nHer stomach turned a bit with regret at that thought. That was something else that had been bothering her ever since he showed up there. But they'd been forced to run before she'd gotten the chance to have that conversation, and as tired as both of them were, it didn't look like she was going to have it any more tonight.\n\n\"Alright, I'll come.\" She told him. \"Lead the way.\"\n\nRai nodded, and once again took her hand as he lead her through the town. Loona wasn't aware of it, but a small blush formed on her face as he held her hand in his during this walk. A few moments later, they reached their destination, and Rai held the door open. It took her a few seconds in her weary state to register that he was allowing her to go first, but when she did, she stepped through the door appreciatively.\n\n\"Welp, here we are. It's not much, but it is home.\" He said behind her.\n\nThe sight that greeted her was... not what she was expecting. It was a small but roomy place, with a bed in one corner, and a small bar and kitchen in the other, with a couch in the middle. There were various bits and bobs of decoration here and there, but it was mostly bare. The floor was populated by boxes, that were filled with various things.\n\n\"Sorry about the mess\" He told her as he stepped in behind her and closed the door behind him. \"I wasn't lying earlier when I said we were leaving.\"\n\nLoona had to guess that he had been in the process of packing. As she looked around, she spied Rai going over to the bed. \n\n'Oh boy...' She couldn't help but think to herself. 'Here comes the part where he 'invites' me to bed.'\n\nShe'd heard the tales of course, even in the maze there were tales full of brave guilders that rescued damsels in distress, and the 'reward' they got afterwords. In the form of sex. \n\n\"Here, you can sleep in my bed.\"\n\n'Yep, here we go-'\n\n\"-I'll just go sleep on the couch.\" He quickly finished.\n\n'Wait, what?' Loona thought to herself. \"Wait, what?\" She quickly said to him right after.\n\n\"No no, it's fine.\" He quickly added. \"Look, you ... have been through a lot today. I know. You need a good sleep. I've slept on worse before.\"\n\nThat... was surprising, and very considerate. And he was quite right, too. On both counts. And it made sense that he'd had worse before, if he was out doing stuff elsewhere and had nowhere to sleep.\n\nShe looked at the bed. It was a fairly big sized bed, about twice the size of Rai, so it would fit her very easily. So at his insistence, she carefully lay down on the good sized bed, pulling the covers over her and tucking herself in. It was the first time she'd slept in a real bed, and, while maybe it was the small amount of relief she'd been through, She curled up, and closed her eyes...\n...Yet no sleep came. She turned, lay on her back, lay on her side, she even tried laying on her belly, yet nothing seemed to work. She don't know how long she tried, yet sleep could simply not find her.\n\n\"Loona?\" She heard Rai call her from the couch. It seemed like she wasn't the only one having such troubles either.\n\n\"Yeah?\" She answered back groggily.\n\n\"Can't sleep?\" He asked.\n\n\"Not really.\" She replied back. \"You either?\"\n\n\"Na.\" \n\nThe two of them sat there in silence, both of them staring up at the ceiling awkwardly. It was at this moment, Loona decided it was finally time to address something. Something that had been bothering her ever since Rai showed up to save her back at the mansion, and something she felt no small guilt about.\n\n\"So uh...\" She began awkwardly. \"You didn't get around to answering me back there...\"\n\n\"About...?\" Rai asked. A few seconds of awkward silence passed, and Loona was about to pick up on it, when a sudden \"Oh! That. Well...\" Came from the couch. \n\n\"Yeah.\" She replied awkwardly, finding it hard to formulate what she wanted to say, partially due to the tiredness of course, but mostly due to her own inability to form an apology. \"I... kind of treated you like an asshole from the start...\" She lamented with a sad sigh.\n\n\"It's fine-\"\n\n\"No, it's not!\" She protested loudly, cutting off his polite yet misguided dismissal of her apology. \"You've been so... good to me. Hell, you've been the only male mon around here that hasn't tried to either rape me or entice me into fucking them since I came into this maze-forsaken town!\"\n\nAnother awkward silence filled the room, as Loona realized what she'd just ended that with.\n\n\"Heh. You really are a maze dweller, aren't you?\"\n\nLoona didn't reply to that, as it was pretty obvious by this point.\n\n\"That's okay, I was too, once.\"\n\nThat took Loona by surprise. \n\n\"R...Really?\" She sat up in the bed, the sheets flowing down as she looked over to the couch with a glint of curiosity in her eyes.\n\n\"Yeah.\" He paused awkwardly for a moment. \"Er, mind if I sit by you? Probably be easier if-\"\n\n\"Uhhh...\" Loona thought about it for only a second before she made up her mind. \"Sure go ahead.\"\n\nShe watched as the large electric rat got up from the couch, and made his way over to the bed. The linoone scooted over, opening up a place for him to sit down. As soon as she did, he sat down, and Loona felt the sheet go a little tight as his weight pushed a bit of it down.\n\n\"Much better, thanks.\" \n\n\"Of course.\"\n\n\"So, anyway, as I was saying, I was a dungeon dweller once too. From Dynamo Sands here, no less...\" And so, Rai began his story, as Loona listened intently.\n\n***\n\nOnce, back when I was a pichu, and later a pikachu, I was little more than a sex slave. A sex slave to a rotten Ampharos, who lived in a cave in the dungeon. Not a day went by where he didn't use my body for his own pleasure. At first, I held out hope that someone would come save me, but as I grew into a pikachu, that hope faded. In its place was a kind of 'fearful love' for my master and the way he used me. Looking back, I see how horrible it was and I'm horrified that I ever even loved him or felt any sort of pleasure from it, but back then, I guess it was the only way I could cope with the situation.\n\nHowever, my master grew old. He started to use me less and less, and one night, I awoke to see him crying. I, not knowing any better, started pleasuring him by giving him a handjob. At first, he tried to push me away, lamenting how badly he fucked me up. He was right of course, but I ignored it at the time and continued on, it gradually moving onto a blowjob-\n\n***\n\nBack in the real world, Loona was giving him a look that was part disgust and pity, and Rai quickly picked up on it, being quickly made aware that while she sympathized with his plight, she really didn't want to hear the full details of his former sexual relations with his old master.\n\nAnd truth be told, he didn't honestly want to tell it, either.\n\n***\n\nI see, I'll get to the point then. After that one last little romp, I thought that would 'fix' him, but he declared that he was letting me go. You have to understand, at that point I was suffering from severe... what's the term? Stock-homes? Something like that? I forget. So I tried to insist on staying with him. He tried leaving the cave but I chased him outside. \n\nBig mistake.\n\nAt that moment, a Guilder approached the two of us. One holding a sword... a meat hunter. A Heliolisk. Same on in fact that's running the Sandstone Guild now, in fact. The two of us were easy marks for him. My former master tried to tell me to run, but being the little idiot I was back then, I refused.\n\nI watched as that guilder killed my old master in front of me, and as I mourned, he tied a leash upon me, and forced me to carry his body. He told me that he would sell me to the then-Lord of Sandstone as 'live meat'.\n\n***\n\n\"Do they still do that?\" Loona asked, horrified. She had heard rumors of course, but never saw them personally.\n\n\"Officially? No.\" Rai replied. \"Officially, our guild put a stop to that practice when we got slavery banned.\"\n\nOh, that explained it then. However, the way he worded it bothered her...\n\n\"And unofficially?\" She asked.\n\n\"Well...\" Rai said with a regretful sigh. \"As much as we'd like to think otherwise, I happen to know that it still happens underground. Figuratively, and quite literally I imagine. I've spent my guild life trying to hunt down these 'underground' slavers and meat-hunters wherever I can, but... it seems like for every one I stamp down, another four pop up...\"\n\nLoona looked off to the side, almost regretting that she'd asked.\n\n\"... But I'm getting ahead of myself here.\"\n\n***\n\nAnyway, after forcing me to drag the corpse of my former master all day, he did not, in fact, reach home by sundown. Not even close. Turns out, it takes a while longer to get home dragging a carcass that's heavier than you home. \n\nSo he was forced to bivouac for the night. At which point, he raped me, just like my master had. Unlike with my master though, I felt no sense of pleasure from it, only pain. I'll spare you the details though. He used me all night, telling me that I was a 'useless pet' and that 'he was just turning the wheel' until he tired himself out. I managed to undo the leash he'd tied to me, I stole his sword, and ran.\n\n***\n\n\"You... didn't kill him right there and then?\"\n\n\"I'm afraid not. In fact, he still runs the Sandstone Guild to this day.\"\n\n\"Sandstone Guild? The one that Piggles used to belong to?\"\n\n\"Technically he still does, but yeah. Same one.\"\n\nThat fact shocked Loona to the core.\n\n\"I know, I know.\" Rai grumbled. \"I should have killed him that day. Biggest mistake of my life. Would have saved who knows how many people some suffering. Believe me, what Pignite did to you wasn't the first such incident, nor will it be the last I fear.\"\n\nLoona suddenly remembered Shia, and his mission to join a Guild. She hoped to the Maze or whoever else was listening that he didn't try to join there.\n\n\"I don't know why I didn't. Maybe I was still too scared and too timid to try? Maybe I didn't think I could actually use the sword effectively? I don't remember my reasons for not doing so. In fact I don't think it even ever occurred to me at the time.\n\n\"How can they even get away with this stuff?\"\n\n\"Short answer is corruption. Our guild tries to hold ourselves to a higher standard, of course. Though, it's had its cost. So much so that we're having to pack up now and look elsewhere...\"\n\nRai nodded towards the boxes.\n\n\"But not all of them are as good as us. And unfortunately, the Sandstone Guild is the biggest guild around here, and also the worst in terms of this. Having the Lord's favor means they can essentially get away with a lot of stuff. We try here and there to contain it or help the victims, but there's only so much one small guild can do.\"\n\nHe sighed. And Loona nodded sorrowfully.\n\n\"As I was saying though...\"\n\n***\n\nSo I escaped into the night with the sword. I don't know if Helios ever bothered hunting me down. He certainly never found me back. And while I'm sure he'd like the sword back, It's not like he can take it back anymore. Entrapping civilians is one thing, but brazenly attacking guildmembers out in the middle of the city is quite another, something even the Lord couldn't ignore if they did. \n\nAfter about a day of hiding out and realizing he wasn't coming after me, or at least wasn't going to find me, I went about my new life. Or at least trying to figure out a new life. Mons mostly avoided me because of my sword, and during the few times they didn't, I killed them to survive. I robbed a few guilders here and there.\n\nTruth be told, I wasn't all that different from how... she is now. Maybe a little more sane, and more reluctant, but I still robbed and used. I took what I wanted, without a damn about anyone else. Materialistically and sexually as well. Dark time of my life, truely. I especially went after Guilders, having witnessed my old master, who I now started to hate more and more, murdered by one in front of me. As far as I was concerned, they were little more than scum and deserved what I brought them.\n\nIronically, I started adopting the same ideology Helios had, about 'the wheel' and all that. At some point, I managed to rob some Guilders of a thunderstone, and evolved into the Raichu sitting on the bed right now. I\n\nSo, you are probably wondering where I changed? Well, funnily enough... It all started when one day, I was wandering the maze as I always did, when I came to a fork in the road. This wasn't unusual, as you well know. Intersections in the maze are pretty common. It happens to us all the time. I started going down the left path, but, at the very last second, I changed my mind and went right. \n\nLooking back on it, it was probably the best decision I ever made up to that point. I don't even want to know what I'd be like if I had kept going left. \n\nI went down that right pathway, when I came to a dead end. There, I saw some guilders having their way with some dungeon dwellers. Normally, I'd wait till they were finished and then pounce upon them, but... I don't know why, but I felt compelled to act in that time. I leapt upon the Guilders, cutting them down with my blade before they even had a chance to fight back.\n\nI was searching the bodies for items, like I usually did, when I noticed their victims hadn't run off. I asked why, and... they did something I didn't expect. They... thanked me. For saving them, from being sold as slaves or worse. Before I could ask more, one of them, a little sandshrew girl leaned in, and kissed me, right on the cheek before she ran off to rejoin her friends. \n\nI stood there for a while, trying to process what just happened. Something like that hadn't happened before, and I didn't know how to feel about it. Her doing that made me feel... something. Something... right. Something I hadn't ever felt before, it felt... good? Warm? And I suddenly felt like I wanted it to happen again. But didn't know how or why.\n\nOf course, now I know exactly what that feeling does. It's the same feeling you get when you do something nice for something. No, not simply something nice, something heroic. \n\nI was about to go on my way and question it later, when suddenly I turned to see someone standing there in the path I'd just taken in, and the only one out.\n\n\"Huh. Not the way I would have gone about that. But... Good job, nonetheless.\" They said as they approached me. I saw that they were wearing a badge, so, naturally, I had first thought that they were going to try and avenge their fallen teammates. So I drew my blade, getting ready for a fight. But she shook her head and raised her arms.\n\"Woah there, big guy.\" She said as she stopped where she was, only a few feet away from me. \"There's no need for that. I'm not here to fight you.\"\n\nI still didn't put the blade away yet. I didn't know if she was trying to trick me or something, but I at least didn't attack right away.\n\n\"Who are you, and what do you want?\" I remember asking hastily. \n\n\"The name's Brene, big guy. And as for why I'm here, I'd like to give you an offer...\"\n\n***\n\n\"No way! That can't be her.\" Loona exclaimed.\n\n\"This was long before she went to the bad.\" Rai quickly explained. \"Several years ago in fact. I know it's hard to believe me, but trust me, it's the truth.\"\n\nLoona thought about responding, but then she remembered what Ara had told her. She realized that what Rai was saying seemed to line up, so she simply nodded.\n\n\"Alright then, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.\" She said. \"Even though I still find it hard to believe.\"\n\n\"Thanks.\"\n\n\"Anyway, continue.\" She said. \"I'm interested in hearing how you became the Mon sitting next to me right now.\"\n\n\"Yeah...\"\n\n***\n\n\"What do you mean?\"\n\n\"Well, I was sent here to bust up these guys you just killed. Don't get me wrong here big guy, I don't blame you for killing scum like them. Illegal meat hunters being what they are.\"\n\n\"Why, though? You're one of them too, aren't you? You have the badge...\"\n\n\"What? Oh hardly!\" Brene replied indignantly. \"Look, it's clear you had some bad experiences with us guild types, but I assure you we aren't all like that. Some of us, like the Guild I belong to, are trying to make a difference for the better. For everyone, dungeon dwellers included.\"\n\nThe Breelom stepped forward, and offered her paw out to him.\n\n\"I can show you, if you want, big guy.\"\n\nPart of me wanted to tell her to shove her offer where the sun didn't shine, but another part wanted to accept. To see where this would go. To see if that strange feeling from earlier would return. That part won out, and, cautiously, I took her hand.\n\n**\n\n\"That definitely doesn't sound like the Brene I saw.\" Loona lamented.\n\n\"She wasn't.\" Rai insisted. \"At one time, Brene was the best the guild had to offer. She was the Guild hero, and my personal hero on top of that. She was the one everyone looked up to, the example to us all, the one everyone aspired to be like. That included me. I wanted to be just like her. I trained under her. It was hard of course, and I struggled at times, but she was always there, she never let me quit, never let me slip back into old habits. She tore me away from that idiotic 'wheel' crap that my old master and Helios had planted into my head. Uprooted it like a shitty weed and threw it out. She gave me an actual purpose in life, a reason to actually live instead of just exist. Showed me that I could be more than just myself, that I could be a part of something greater.\"\n\n\"So... what happened?\" Loona was almost scared to ask.\n\n\"To be honest,\" Rai answered sadly, \"I'm still not sure myself. Nobody is. All I know is that one day, Brene volunteered for a job inside the dungeon. It was supposed to be a short one, something about a 'ring' or something. I volunteered to go with her, but she refused, and told me she'd be back before I knew it.\"\n\nHe gave an audible, and depressed sigh.\n\n\"Needless to say, I never saw her again after that. I trust Ara already told you the story about what happened on her end?\"\n\nLoona nodded solemnly.\n\n\"Yeah. I was out on a mission of my own at the time, and I only heard about it third-paw. I heard about it from Ara, and saw the bounties grow and grow and grow. Yet, I couldn't believe it. Couldn't believe it was her. I never bothered to chase after her. I refused to believe it was true. Though, I guess on some level I knew it was her, as I never went after her. I guess... I never wanted to know the truth. Never wanted to see what became of her with my own two eyes. And then... you came along. You told me your story, and, well... I couldn't deny it any further.\"\n\nHe sighed again.\n\n\"You were right back in the Barthol by the way. I am a coward. For refusing to help you with your problem, for refusing to face her-\"\n\nLoona suddenly leaned over and hugged him, stopping his self-deprecating apology dead in its tracks. \n\n\"No. I'm the one that's sorry. I... I didn't know any of this, or why. I lashed out, when I shouldn't have. Especially after you'd just saved me back there.\"\n\nShe felt her head hair being patted and ruffled.\n\n\"You've got nothing to apologize for, Loona.\" He said. \"I didn't expect you to understand, or ... to....\"\n\nLoona felt her eyes suddenly drawn to something. It seemed her close proximity to him had caused him to be come a little... 'excited' down below. Something that was now certainly not helped by the physical contact she was giving him. A deep blush formed on her face as she inadvertently eyed down the red cone beginning to poke out of its sheath. Rai had stopped midway through his conversation when he noticed what she was looking at. Realizing too late that he was starting to get erect, he quickly moved his hands to cover it up.\n\n\"Sorry!\" He quickly spouted. \"I didn't mean-\"\n\n\"It's, uh.. Fine.\" Loona awkwardly replied as she loosened her hug and moved back, a deep blush on her face.\n\n\"Maybe we should... uh...\" The raichu stammered awkwardly. \"...Just go back to sleep?\"\n\n\"Yeah... that would... probably be best.\" She gave an awkward chuckle as she lay back down.\n\nThe night passed, and the Linoone awoke the next morning. Or at least she assumed it was morning. For all she knew, it might already have been in the afternoon. Late morning or early afternoon, one of the two. \n\nAs she turned to get herself out of bed, she found way blocked by a giant yellow form. It didn't take a second thought to tell her what it was. The sight of Rai sleeping in the same bed, her back to her, shocked her, and partially frightened her. Almost immediately, she reached under the bedsheets, her hand quickly shooting in between her legs, to check for any sign of any activity the night before. \nShe spread herself as far as the shared bed would allow her to, and slipped a digit outside of her pussy. She shivered slightly at the sensation, but now was not the time for pleasure. She needed to know if they had done anything last night or not.\nTo her relief, she felt no trace of his fluids, in or out, nor any sign that they'd been at it last night. A relieved huff escaped her mouth. Yet, as happy as she was about the fact that they hadn't done anything last night, there was a small part of... disappointment? She couldn't quite place it, or why.\n\nAt that moment, she felt the large electric rat beside her stir. He rolled over on his back, and sat up, a tired yawn escaping his maw as his paws stretched into the air.\n\n\"Umm... Rai?\" Loona asked awkwardly to her bedmate.\n\n\"Oh, you're awake.\" Rai said to Loona. \"What's up?\"\n\n\"How... did we end up in bed together?\" She asked him. \n\n\"You... don't remember?\" He asked groggily. She shook her head.\n\n\"After last night's story, I was going to go back to the couch, but you uh... kind of insisted I sleep next to you.\" Rai explained. Seeing the worry on her face, he quickly added, \"Oh, don't worry, we didn't do anything. In fact, I faced away from you the whole time just to avoid any... awkwardness.\"\n\nNow that he mentioned it, Loona suddenly remembered herself asking him that, and she remembered the Raichu reluctantly accepting. She'd guessed she'd fallen asleep right after that, as she didn't remember anything else.\nHowever, her naughty eyes once again found themselves shifting to a certain part of him.\n\n\"An effort that clearly failed.\" She joked.\n\nWhile he may have been able to hide it last night before it got too far, the morning was not as kind to the embarrassed Raichu, as the red cone that had been only out slightly the night before was now standing hard at full mast while the female Linoone couldn't help but stare at it. It wasn't as big as Piggle's, but that fact actually relieved Loona more than anything. \n\n\"Uh... Ohshit, sorry!\" Rai quickly stammered. With an awkward shuffle, he quickly turned away, and got out of the bed. He made an effort to hide his erection from her. \"I'll just uh, go relieve myself quick a moment.\"\n\nBefore she could even say a word, Rai left, presumably to deal with his raging morning hardon. An action that caused the Linoone to give a small giggle as she slowly got out of the bed herself.",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>By the time the familiar sight of Sandstone&#039;s walls greeted the pair, both were dead tired. Not a surprise in the slightest for either of them, considering what both Rai and Loona had just gone through an hour earlier, especially the latter. Loona in particular felt like she wanted to drop down into the sands, curl up, and try to make the horror of her latest encounter go away.<br />Rai must have sensed this was the case, as they had barely gotten into town when he asked, &quot;Hey, Loona, do you have a place to stay the night?&quot;<br /><br />That question caught her off guard. Not just because of her tiredness, but because as a freshly former dungeon dweller, a &#039;place to stay&#039; was a foreign concept to her. Being nomadic wanderers in the maze, the go-to &#039;place to stay&#039; if a cave or something wasn&#039;t available (which it usually wasn&#039;t, and when it was, was usually occupied by something big and nasty that no one in her group wanted to deal with,) they&#039;d just find a corner of the maze to curl up in and go to sleep. <br />As such, she hadn&#039;t even really thought of acquiring a &#039;place to stay&#039; as it has never really crossed her mind until now, so she answered truthfully.<br /><br />&quot;No, I don&#039;t.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I thought that was the case.&quot; Rai said with a tired sigh. &quot; You can come back with me to my flat.&quot;<br /><br />Loona looked at him.<br /><br />&quot;Er, if you want to that is.&quot; He quickly added. &quot; Not going to make you or anything. But, eh... sleeping outside in town is... kind of a bad idea, and I thought after everything that happened you might want to have a roof over your head, at least.&quot;<br /><br />Loona hesitated. On one hand, she was still a bit weary of taking offers from anyone, especially guys, after her horrible rape at the hand of piggle. But on the other hand, she really didn&#039;t have much better ideas. The only possible solution she even could think of was asking Igon, and she&#039;d rather not. And, well, Rai seemed trustworthy enough.<br /><br />He had come to save her, with nothing to gain on his own, after all.<br /><br />Her stomach turned a bit with regret at that thought. That was something else that had been bothering her ever since he showed up there. But they&#039;d been forced to run before she&#039;d gotten the chance to have that conversation, and as tired as both of them were, it didn&#039;t look like she was going to have it any more tonight.<br /><br />&quot;Alright, I&#039;ll come.&quot; She told him. &quot;Lead the way.&quot;<br /><br />Rai nodded, and once again took her hand as he lead her through the town. Loona wasn&#039;t aware of it, but a small blush formed on her face as he held her hand in his during this walk. A few moments later, they reached their destination, and Rai held the door open. It took her a few seconds in her weary state to register that he was allowing her to go first, but when she did, she stepped through the door appreciatively.<br /><br />&quot;Welp, here we are. It&#039;s not much, but it is home.&quot; He said behind her.<br /><br />The sight that greeted her was... not what she was expecting. It was a small but roomy place, with a bed in one corner, and a small bar and kitchen in the other, with a couch in the middle. There were various bits and bobs of decoration here and there, but it was mostly bare. The floor was populated by boxes, that were filled with various things.<br /><br />&quot;Sorry about the mess&quot; He told her as he stepped in behind her and closed the door behind him. &quot;I wasn&#039;t lying earlier when I said we were leaving.&quot;<br /><br />Loona had to guess that he had been in the process of packing. As she looked around, she spied Rai going over to the bed. <br /><br />&#039;Oh boy...&#039; She couldn&#039;t help but think to herself. &#039;Here comes the part where he &#039;invites&#039; me to bed.&#039;<br /><br />She&#039;d heard the tales of course, even in the maze there were tales full of brave guilders that rescued damsels in distress, and the &#039;reward&#039; they got afterwords. In the form of sex. <br /><br />&quot;Here, you can sleep in my bed.&quot;<br /><br />&#039;Yep, here we go-&#039;<br /><br />&quot;-I&#039;ll just go sleep on the couch.&quot; He quickly finished.<br /><br />&#039;Wait, what?&#039; Loona thought to herself. &quot;Wait, what?&quot; She quickly said to him right after.<br /><br />&quot;No no, it&#039;s fine.&quot; He quickly added. &quot;Look, you ... have been through a lot today. I know. You need a good sleep. I&#039;ve slept on worse before.&quot;<br /><br />That... was surprising, and very considerate. And he was quite right, too. On both counts. And it made sense that he&#039;d had worse before, if he was out doing stuff elsewhere and had nowhere to sleep.<br /><br />She looked at the bed. It was a fairly big sized bed, about twice the size of Rai, so it would fit her very easily. So at his insistence, she carefully lay down on the good sized bed, pulling the covers over her and tucking herself in. It was the first time she&#039;d slept in a real bed, and, while maybe it was the small amount of relief she&#039;d been through,&nbsp;&nbsp; She curled up, and closed her eyes...<br />...Yet no sleep came. She turned, lay on her back, lay on her side, she even tried laying on her belly, yet nothing seemed to work. She don&#039;t know how long she tried, yet sleep could simply not find her.<br /><br />&quot;Loona?&quot; She heard Rai call her from the couch. It seemed like she wasn&#039;t the only one having such troubles either.<br /><br />&quot;Yeah?&quot; She answered back groggily.<br /><br />&quot;Can&#039;t sleep?&quot; He asked.<br /><br />&quot;Not really.&quot; She replied back. &quot; You either?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Na.&quot; <br /><br />The two of them sat there in silence, both of them staring up at the ceiling awkwardly. It was at this moment, Loona decided it was finally time to address something. Something that had been bothering her ever since Rai showed up to save her back at the mansion, and something she felt no small guilt about.<br /><br />&quot;So uh...&quot; She began awkwardly. &quot; You didn&#039;t get around to answering me back there...&quot;<br /><br />&quot;About...?&quot; Rai asked. A few seconds of awkward silence passed, and Loona was about to pick up on it, when a sudden &quot;Oh! That. Well...&quot; Came from the couch. <br /><br />&quot;Yeah.&quot; She replied awkwardly, finding it hard to formulate what she wanted to say, partially due to the tiredness of course, but mostly due to her own inability to form an apology. &quot;I... kind of treated you like an asshole from the start...&quot; She lamented with a sad sigh.<br /><br />&quot;It&#039;s fine-&quot;<br /><br />&quot;No, it&#039;s not!&quot; She protested loudly, cutting off his polite yet misguided dismissal of her apology. &quot;You&#039;ve been so... good to me. Hell, you&#039;ve been the only male mon around here that hasn&#039;t tried to either rape me or entice me into fucking them since I came into this maze-forsaken town!&quot;<br /><br />Another awkward silence filled the room, as Loona realized what she&#039;d just ended that with.<br /><br />&quot;Heh. You really are a maze dweller, aren&#039;t you?&quot;<br /><br />Loona didn&#039;t reply to that, as it was pretty obvious by this point.<br /><br />&quot;That&#039;s okay, I was too, once.&quot;<br /><br />That took Loona by surprise. <br /><br />&quot;R...Really?&quot; She sat up in the bed, the sheets flowing down as she looked over to the couch with a glint of curiosity in her eyes.<br /><br />&quot;Yeah.&quot; He paused awkwardly for a moment. &quot;Er, mind if I sit by you? Probably be easier if-&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Uhhh...&quot; Loona thought about it for only a second before she made up her mind. &quot;Sure go ahead.&quot;<br /><br />She watched as the large electric rat got up from the couch, and made his way over to the bed. The linoone scooted over, opening up a place for him to sit down. As soon as she did, he sat down, and Loona felt the sheet go a little tight as his weight pushed a bit of it down.<br /><br />&quot;Much better, thanks.&quot; <br /><br />&quot;Of course.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;So, anyway, as I was saying, I was a dungeon dweller once too. From Dynamo Sands here, no less...&quot; And so, Rai began his story, as Loona listened intently.<br /><br />***<br /><br /><em>Once, back when I was a pichu, and later a pikachu, I was little more than a sex slave. A sex slave to a rotten Ampharos, who lived in a cave in the dungeon. Not a day went by where he didn&#039;t use my body for his own pleasure. At first, I held out hope that someone would come save me, but as I grew into a pikachu, that hope faded. In its place was a kind of &#039;fearful love&#039; for my master and the way he used me. Looking back, I see how horrible it was and I&#039;m horrified that I ever even loved him or felt any sort of pleasure from it, but back then, I guess it was the only way I could cope with the situation.</em><br /><br /><em>However, my master grew old. He started to use me less and less, and one night, I awoke to see him crying. I, not knowing any better, started pleasuring him by giving him a handjob. At first, he tried to push me away, lamenting how badly he fucked me up. He was right of course, but I ignored it at the time and continued on, it gradually moving onto a blowjob-</em><br /><br />***<br /><br />Back in the real world, Loona was giving him a look that was part disgust and pity, and Rai quickly picked up on it, being quickly made aware that while she sympathized with his plight, she really didn&#039;t want to hear the full details of his former sexual relations with his old master.<br /><br />And truth be told, he didn&#039;t honestly want to tell it, either.<br /><br />***<br /><br /><em>I see, I&#039;ll get to the point then. After that one last little romp, I thought that would &#039;fix&#039; him, but he declared that he was letting me go. You have to understand, at that point I was suffering from severe... what&#039;s the term? Stock-homes? Something like that? I forget. So I tried to insist on staying with him. He tried leaving the cave but I chased him outside. <br /><br />Big mistake.<br /><br />At that moment, a Guilder approached the two of us. One holding a sword... a meat hunter. A Heliolisk. Same on in fact that&#039;s running the Sandstone Guild now, in fact. The two of us were easy marks for him. My former master tried to tell me to run, but being the little idiot I was back then, I refused.</em><br /><br /><em>I watched as that guilder killed my old master in front of me, and as I mourned, he tied a leash upon me, and forced me to carry his body. He told me that he would sell me to the then-Lord of Sandstone as &#039;live meat&#039;.</em><br /><br />***<br /><br />&quot;Do they still do that?&quot; Loona asked, horrified. She had heard rumors of course, but never saw them personally.<br /><br />&quot;Officially? No.&quot; Rai replied. &quot;Officially, our guild put a stop to that practice when we got slavery banned.&quot;<br /><br />Oh, that explained it then. However, the way he worded it bothered her...<br /><br />&quot;And unofficially?&quot; She asked.<br /><br />&quot;Well...&quot; Rai said with a regretful sigh. &quot; As much as we&#039;d like to think otherwise, I happen to know that it still happens underground. Figuratively, and quite literally I imagine. I&#039;ve spent my guild life trying to hunt down these &#039;underground&#039; slavers and meat-hunters wherever I can, but... it seems like for every one I stamp down, another four pop up...&quot;<br /><br />Loona looked off to the side, almost regretting that she&#039;d asked.<br /><br />&quot;... But I&#039;m getting ahead of myself here.&quot;<br /><br />***<br /><br /><em>Anyway, after forcing me to drag the corpse of my former master all day, he did not, in fact, reach home by sundown. Not even close. Turns out, it takes a while longer to get home dragging a carcass that&#039;s heavier than you home. </em><br /><br /><em>So he was forced to bivouac for the night. At which point, he raped me, just like my master had. Unlike with my master though, I felt no sense of pleasure from it, only pain. I&#039;ll spare you the details though. He used me all night, telling me that I was a &#039;useless pet&#039; and that &#039;he was just turning the wheel&#039; until he tired himself out. I managed to undo the leash he&#039;d tied to me, I stole his sword, and ran.</em><br /><br />***<br /><br />&quot;You... didn&#039;t kill him right there and then?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;m afraid not. In fact, he still runs the Sandstone Guild to this day.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Sandstone Guild? The one that Piggles used to belong to?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Technically he still does, but yeah. Same one.&quot;<br /><br />That fact shocked Loona to the core.<br /><br />&quot;I know, I know.&quot; Rai grumbled. &quot;I should have killed him that day. Biggest mistake of my life. Would have saved who knows how many people some suffering. Believe me, what Pignite did to you wasn&#039;t the first such incident, nor will it be the last I fear.&quot;<br /><br />Loona suddenly remembered Shia, and his mission to join a Guild. She hoped to the Maze or whoever else was listening that he didn&#039;t try to join there.<br /><br />&quot;I don&#039;t know why I didn&#039;t. Maybe I was still too scared and too timid to try? Maybe I didn&#039;t think I could actually use the sword effectively? I don&#039;t remember my reasons for not doing so. In fact I don&#039;t think it even ever occurred to me at the time.<br /><br />&quot;How can they even get away with this stuff?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Short answer is corruption. Our guild tries to hold ourselves to a higher standard, of course. Though, it&#039;s had its cost. So much so that we&#039;re having to pack up now and look elsewhere...&quot;<br /><br />Rai nodded towards the boxes.<br /><br />&quot;But not all of them are as good as us. And unfortunately, the Sandstone Guild is the biggest guild around here, and also the worst in terms of this. Having the Lord&#039;s favor means they can essentially get away with a lot of stuff. We try here and there to contain it or help the victims, but there&#039;s only so much one small guild can do.&quot;<br /><br />He sighed. And Loona nodded sorrowfully.<br /><br />&quot;As I was saying though...&quot;<br /><br />***<br /><br /><em>So I escaped into the night with the sword. I don&#039;t know if Helios ever bothered hunting me down. He certainly never found me back. And while I&#039;m sure he&#039;d like the sword back, It&#039;s not like he can take it back anymore. Entrapping civilians is one thing, but brazenly attacking guildmembers out in the middle of the city is quite another, something even the Lord couldn&#039;t ignore if they did.&nbsp;&nbsp;</em><br /><br /><em>After about a day of hiding out and realizing he wasn&#039;t coming after me, or at least wasn&#039;t going to find me, I went about my new life. Or at least trying to figure out a new life. Mons mostly avoided me because of my sword, and during the few times they didn&#039;t, I killed them to survive. I robbed a few guilders here and there.</em><br /><br /><em>Truth be told, I wasn&#039;t all that different from how... </em><strong><em>she</em></strong><em> is now. Maybe a little more sane, and more reluctant, but I still robbed and used.&nbsp;&nbsp;I took what I wanted, without a damn about anyone else. Materialistically and sexually as well. Dark time of my life, truely. I especially went after Guilders, having witnessed my old master, who I now started to hate more and more, murdered by one in front of me. As far as I was concerned, they were little more than scum and deserved what I brought them.</em><br /><br /><em>Ironically, I started adopting the same ideology Helios had, about &#039;the wheel&#039; and all that. I asked why, and... they did something I didn&#039;t expect. They... thanked me. For saving them, from being sold as slaves or worse. Before I could ask more, one of them, a little sandshrew girl leaned in, and kissed me, right on the cheek before she ran off to rejoin her friends. </em><br /><br /><em>I stood there for a while, trying to process what just happened. Something like that hadn&#039;t happened before, and I didn&#039;t know how to feel about it. Her doing that made me feel... something. Something... right. Something I hadn&#039;t ever felt before, it felt... good? Warm? And I suddenly felt like I wanted it to happen again. But didn&#039;t know how or why.</em><br /><br /><em>Of course, now I know exactly what that feeling does. It&#039;s the same feeling you get when you do something nice for something. No, not simply something nice, something </em><em><span class='underline'>heroic</span></em><em>. </em><br /><br /><em>I was about to go on my way and question it later, when suddenly I turned to see someone standing there in the path I&#039;d just taken in, and the only one out.</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;Huh. Not the way I would have gone about that. But... Good job, nonetheless.&quot; They said as they approached me. I saw that they were wearing a badge, so, naturally, I had first thought that they were going to try and avenge their fallen teammates. So I drew my blade, getting ready for a fight. But she shook her head and raised her arms.<br />&quot;Woah there, big guy.&quot; She said as she stopped where she was, only a few feet away from me. &quot;There&#039;s no need for that. I&#039;m not here to fight you.&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>I still didn&#039;t put the blade away yet. I didn&#039;t know if she was trying to trick me or something, but I at least didn&#039;t attack right away.</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;Who are you, and what do you want?&quot; I remember asking hastily. </em><br /><br /><em>&quot;The name&#039;s Brene, big guy. And as for why I&#039;m here, I&#039;d like to give you an offer...&quot;</em><br /><br />***<br /><br />&quot;No way! That can&#039;t be her.&quot; Loona exclaimed.<br /><br />&quot;This was long before she went to the bad.&quot; Rai quickly explained. &quot;Several years ago in fact. I know it&#039;s hard to believe me, but trust me, it&#039;s the truth.&quot;<br /><br />Loona thought about responding, but then she remembered what Ara had told her. She realized that what Rai was saying seemed to line up, so she simply nodded.<br /><br />&quot;Alright then, I&#039;ll give you the benefit of the doubt.&quot; She said. &quot;Even though I still find it hard to believe.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Thanks.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Anyway, continue.&quot; She said. &quot;I&#039;m interested in hearing how you became the Mon sitting next to me right now.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Yeah...&quot;<br /><br />***<br /><br /><em>&quot;What do you mean?&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;Well, I was sent here to bust up these guys you just killed. Don&#039;t get me wrong here big guy, I don&#039;t blame you for killing scum like them. Illegal meat hunters being what they are.&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;Why, though? You&#039;re one of them too, aren&#039;t you? You have the badge...&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;What? Oh hardly!&quot; Brene replied indignantly. &quot;Look, it&#039;s clear you had some bad experiences with us guild types, but I assure you we aren&#039;t all like that. Some of us, like the Guild I belong to, are trying to make a difference for the better. For everyone, dungeon dwellers included.&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>The Breelom stepped forward, and offered her paw out to him.</em><br /><br /><em>&quot;I can show you, if you want, big guy.&quot;</em><br /><br /><em>Part of me wanted to tell her to shove her offer where the sun didn&#039;t shine, but another part wanted to accept. To see where this would go. To see if that strange feeling from earlier would return. That part won out, and, cautiously, I took her hand.</em><br /><br /><em>**</em><br /><br />&quot;That definitely doesn&#039;t sound like the Brene I saw.&quot; Loona lamented.<br /><br />&quot;She wasn&#039;t.&quot; Rai insisted. &quot; At one time, Brene was the best the guild had to offer. She tore me away from that idiotic &#039;wheel&#039; crap that my old master and Helios had planted into my head. Uprooted it like a shitty weed and threw it out. She gave me an actual purpose in life, a reason to actually live instead of just exist. Showed me that I could be more than just myself, that I could be a part of something greater.&quot;<br /><br />&quot;So... what happened?&quot; Loona was almost scared to ask.<br /><br />&quot;To be honest,&quot; Rai answered sadly, &quot;I&#039;m still not sure myself. Nobody is. All I know is that one day, Brene volunteered for a job inside the dungeon. It was supposed to be a short one, something about a &#039;ring&#039; or something. I volunteered to go with her, but she refused, and told me she&#039;d be back before I knew it.&quot;<br /><br />He gave an audible, and depressed sigh.<br /><br />&quot;Needless to say, I never saw her again after that. I trust Ara already told you the story about what happened on her end?&quot;<br /><br />Loona nodded solemnly.<br /><br />&quot;Yeah. I was out on a mission of my own at the time, and I only heard about it third-paw. I heard about it from Ara, and saw the bounties grow and grow and grow. Yet, I couldn&#039;t believe it. Couldn&#039;t believe it was her. I never bothered to chase after her. I refused to believe it was true. Though, I guess on some level I knew it was her, as I never went after her. I guess... I never wanted to know the truth. Never wanted to see what became of her with my own two eyes. And then... you came along. You told me your story, and, well... I couldn&#039;t deny it any further.&quot;<br /><br />He sighed again.<br /><br />&quot;You were right back in the Barthol by the way. I am a coward. For refusing to help you with your problem, for refusing to face her-&quot;<br /><br />Loona suddenly leaned over and hugged him, stopping his self-deprecating apology dead in its tracks. <br /><br />&quot;No. I&#039;m the one that&#039;s sorry. I... I didn&#039;t know any of this, or why. I lashed out, when I shouldn&#039;t have. Especially after you&#039;d just saved me back there.&quot;<br /><br />She felt her head hair being patted and ruffled.<br /><br />&quot;You&#039;ve got nothing to apologize for, Loona.&quot; He said. &quot;I didn&#039;t expect you to understand, or ... to....&quot;<br /><br />Loona felt her eyes suddenly drawn to something. It seemed her close proximity to him had caused him to be come a little... &#039;excited&#039; down below. Something that was now certainly not helped by the physical contact she was giving him. A deep blush formed on her face as she inadvertently eyed down the red cone beginning to poke out of its sheath.&nbsp;&nbsp;Rai had stopped midway through his conversation when he noticed what she was looking at. Realizing too late that he was starting to get erect, he quickly moved his hands to cover it up.<br /><br />&quot;Sorry!&quot; He quickly spouted. &quot;I didn&#039;t mean-&quot;<br /><br />&quot;It&#039;s, uh.. Fine.&quot; Loona awkwardly replied as she loosened her hug and moved back, a deep blush on her face.<br /><br />&quot;Maybe we should... uh...&quot; The raichu stammered awkwardly.&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;...Just go back to sleep?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;Yeah... that would... probably be best.&quot; She gave an awkward chuckle as she lay back down.<br /><br />The night passed, and the Linoone awoke the next morning. Or at least she assumed it was morning. For all she knew, it might already have been in the afternoon. Late morning or early afternoon, one of the two. <br /><br />As she turned to get herself out of bed, she found way blocked by a giant yellow form. It didn&#039;t take a second thought to tell her what it was. The sight of Rai sleeping in the same bed, her back to her, shocked her, and partially frightened her. Almost immediately, she reached under the bedsheets, her hand quickly shooting in between her legs, to check for any sign of any activity the night before. <br />She spread herself as far as the shared bed would allow her to, and slipped a digit outside of her pussy. She shivered slightly at the sensation, but now was not the time for pleasure. She needed to know if they had done anything last night or not.<br />To her relief, she felt no trace of his fluids, in or out, nor any sign that they&#039;d been at it last night. A relieved huff escaped her mouth. Yet, as happy as she was about the fact that they hadn&#039;t done anything last night, there was a small part of... disappointment? She couldn&#039;t quite place it, or why.<br /><br />At that moment, she felt the large electric rat beside her stir. He rolled over on his back, and sat up, a tired yawn escaping his maw as his paws stretched into the air.<br /><br />&quot;Umm... Rai?&quot; Loona asked awkwardly to her bedmate.<br /><br />&quot;Oh, you&#039;re awake.&quot; Rai said to Loona. &quot;What&#039;s up?&quot;<br /><br />&quot;How... did we end up in bed together?&quot; She asked him. <br /><br />&quot;You... don&#039;t remember?&quot; He asked groggily. She shook her head.<br /><br />&quot;After last night&#039;s story, I was going to go back to the couch, but you uh... kind of insisted I sleep next to you.&quot; Rai explained. Seeing the worry on her face, he quickly added, &quot;Oh, don&#039;t worry, we didn&#039;t do anything. In fact, I faced away from you the whole time just to avoid any... awkwardness.&quot;<br /><br />Now that he mentioned it, Loona suddenly remembered herself asking him that, and she remembered the Raichu reluctantly accepting. She&#039;d guessed she&#039;d fallen asleep right after that, as she didn&#039;t remember anything else.<br />However, her naughty eyes once again found themselves shifting to a certain part of him.<br /><br />&quot;An effort that clearly failed.&quot; She joked.<br /><br />While he may have been able to hide it last night before it got too far, the morning was not as kind to the embarrassed Raichu, as the red cone that had been only out slightly the night before was now standing hard at full mast while the female Linoone couldn&#039;t help but stare at it. It wasn&#039;t as big as Piggle&#039;s, but that fact actually relieved Loona more than anything. <br /><br />&quot;Uh... Ohshit, sorry!&quot; Rai quickly stammered. With an awkward shuffle, he quickly turned away, and got out of the bed. He made an effort to hide his erection from her. &quot;I&#039;ll just uh, go relieve myself quick a moment.&quot;<br /><br />Before she could even say a word, Rai left, presumably to deal with his raging morning hardon. An action that caused the Linoone to give a small giggle as she slowly got out of the bed herself.</span>",
