Although she regrets leaving the friends she's made during this assignment behind to battle those awful hordes, she knows that orders are orders. Again, make your way to the mansion and be careful.\" He then turns to Ranii. \"We should go back to looking for Aceo now.\"\n\n\"Agreed.\" Ranii says. \"It wouldn't do to tell here to flee towards the mansion only to find more of these bastards there.\"\n\n\nWith this business done, all of them leave the house, but the ground type they rescued went her separate ways from them to make her way to the mansion, while Luca and Ranii are going in another direction.\nThis next street the duo is heading through seems practically deserted and devoid of danger but then...\nA projectile comes flying through the air from far away, going in an arc...\n\"NGH!\" Luca lets out a noise of pain and stops in his tracks, not out of his own volition. He puts a paw around his lower back, did he got hit there? but there is no wound to be seen, not to mention the armor covers it somewhat. \"Ranii! I can't...move my legs!\" There is something behind him though, it looks like an arrow, it didn't strike him directly but it seemed to have struck the Lucario's shadow.\n\n\"What the?!\" Ranii looks behind her, her spear appearing right out of the air. She is on alert, and on guard. \"Luca! What-what happened? There's no blood, and no projectile sticking out of it from the looks of it...\n\nThere isn't anyone in sight right now, these two still seem to be completely alone.\nLuca tries to pull his own legs off the ground, but despite his audible efforts it's like they shackled, they just won't budge. He then spotted the projectile that was behind him, it reminded him a little bit of those bolts that crossbows can shoot, but it seems to be longer, and it's tip somewhat resembles a feather. \n\nRanii doesn't seem to know what's going on as she looks on, seeing Luca pinned to the ground through what seems to be some sort of unseen force\nThe closest thing she can see is that ... thing nearby that looks vaguely like a crossbow bolt sitting on his shadow. But... there's no way THAT's the problem...\nIs it?\nShe goes over to it, wraps her talons around it, and pulls.\n\nThe arrow easily came out of the ground when pulled.\nSuddenly a shadow covered them, which would mean something above them just showed up, and it dived down with a pointed weapon being held in it's taloned feet.\nBut Luca...Luca senses an intent to kill above him just now, he quickly pushes Ranii back to a safe distance while leaning down so his back, thus shield, is facing up. Sure enough a very powerful downward blow of a spear strikes his shield full-force, the weapon itself breaks but the impact knocks Luca to the ground.\nThe culprit of this is a Ducideye currently trying to reorient herself in the air after her spear got blocked at the last moment and she was unexpectedly bounced back from that.\n\n\"The hell is that?\" Ranii shouts as she regains her footing, her spear at the ready as she goes for Luca, pulling him to his feet.\n\nThe tall owl lands on the edge of a nearby roof, looking down at them both, especially the Avali. \"'Winged Far Outsiders' i guess the rumors were not to be dismissed...\" She mumbles to herself.\nGetting back up, Luca looks back at the Pokémon, it's not one he has ever seen before. \"Not sure, first time seeing a pokémon like this...\"\n\n\"Well, I certainly never saw one like that either.\" Ranii comments.\n\n\"You.\" She points to the Avali. \"Who are you?\"\n\"Why do you want to know?!\" Luca growled at the owl.\n\"I'm not speaking to you, dog.\"\n\n\"Same question\" Ranii growls in return.\n\nThe owl narrows her eyes. \"I am Duci, and you...you are clearly not from around here, Not many feathered pokémon would want to live in a wasteland such as this...\"\n\n\"Let's just say I have certain obligations to certain powers.\" She says as she points the spear up at the bird-ghost. \"Ones that necessitate that we protect this town and its civilians from brigands like yourself.... or your two rapist buddies we just killed.\"\n\n\"The Sand Kingdom is weak, you waste your time assisting them, stranger.\" Duci crosses her arms, making her wings cover her front like a cloak. \"Even the guild named after this town knows it's doomed to fall, they wanted to be part of the winning side. Perhaps we could have given the same deal to you too, if you just didn't stand in our way, there would be much less blood spilled.\"\n\n\"Has it even occurred to you that this is [i]precisely why[/i] we are defending Sandstone? Or more accurately, its civilian population? You say the people here are weak, that the traitor guild knows it's doomed to fall? We know. And that's why we fight you. To protect the weak and innocent, from you. You are the aggressor in this war, not us. Any blood spilled is on your hands, not ours.\" \nRanii glares at her, and growls.\n\"At any rate, this conversation is getting tiresome. So I'll give you this last warning: step aside and flee back to where you came from, or join your comrades in eternal damnation.\"\nShe spins the spear in her hand to illustrate her point, before gripping it with both hands once again and pointing it back up here. \n\"This spear never misses its mark, except at will. Quite a few of your buddies have already found that out the hard way.\"\n\n\".........So be it then.\" She spreads her wings. \"If you do win this battle, what then?\" Before any of them could answer if they wanted to, Duci began flying away. She must have been wise enough not to want to risk fighting them.\nLucas watches her go, wishing he could go after her, but that's not a possibility. Something about that owl just made her feel different from the other Grove pokémon he saw thus far, like she was cut above the rest. But regardless, now they need to get back to their objective. \"Alright...she's gone, let's proceed.\" \n\n\"Yes... let's.\" Ranii replies.\nShe hopes however deep down that she did not just make a grave mistake by letting that ... thing, go like that. \nAnd she cannot shake the feeling that they have not seen the last of them.\n\nThey start to approach Aceo's location, and they can already hear some noise of fighting.\nThe Avali can make out some of the yelling going on there.\n\"It's just one Greninja! Surround him again!\"\n\"Try to stop him from moving!\"\nWhen they get a visual on what's going on they see a group of Grove and traitorous Sandstone guild members fighting against...a human, at least Luca and Ranii can see past the disguise because they have seem a human before, the rest of the pokémon in that fight seem fooled by the strawhat and the long red scarf around his neck coupled with his blue clothes. Moreover those two tonfas in his hands might be familiar.\nLuca's eyes go wide at what he sees, he didn't think he would see him here of all places, and facing their enemies no less. \"Him? here?\"\nSo far it seems like Kage is handling them well enough, moving with finesse past a Zangoose's claws to deliver a beating to his stomach with his weapon, then putting one his tonfas aside to get a rock from his pocket, which he throws right at a head of a Simisage. Then he ran to Cacnea who panicked and put his arms up to try to defend himself, only for this agile fighter to pilfer some of his spikes, jump on top of his head and then jump 'again' to make the grass-type faceplant on the sand. The Cacnea spikes are then thrown at a Manectric.\n\n\"Well, let us not question providence.\"\nRanii jumps up into the air, her spear coming down right on top of the Zangoose, the spear burying itself in the white furred beast as she 'stands' on its shoulders with her talons. With a graceful leap, she leaps off, leaving the spear embedded in its body. And surely enough a Carnivine and a Yanmega jump up from nearby windows upon Luca and Ranii respectively. He already anticipated it and stabs his swords through the floating flytrap's head.\nBut the threat of the Avali to deal with, the Yanmega, is trying to get behind her to grab her from there.\n\nThanks to the avali's ears, she hears it and immediately knows where it is. \n\"No, I don't think so.\" She says.\nWhen it tries to grab her from behind, she leaps up into the air to avoid it. Now above it, she points her spear down, and descends, her spear pointed directly at its thorax...\n\n\"What?! how did you-\" Ranii's spears successfully pierced the dragon-fly's thorax, it let out a scream of agony as it got impaled to the ground, shortly afterwards.\nMeanwhile Luca pulls his swords out of the plant he just killed. \"Honestly...I feel like I have killed more than enough for one day.\" He groans.\nNext up is that small building where that Galvantula took their ally in, they are gonna have to go in there to save him.\n\"Hhhmm, pretty sure this is an inn.\" Luca comments. \"I feel that Elec is in there too...\" He places a paw at the door.\n\n\"Unfortunately I doubt this is the end of it.\" Ranii signs in response to Luca's groan. \"Unless the Grove just suddenly throws down all their weapons and runs. Which, right now at least, doesn't seem likely. Not to mention there's still a Noble or two to... take care of.\" \nAs Luca places a paw on the door, she nods. \"I can hear heartbeats in there, so there's definitely [i]someone[/i] in there.\" She replies. She lets Luca go first.\n\nLuca slowly opens the door to have a look inside.\nIt's frankly not easy to see in there in account of how dark it is, but they can see there are plenty of webs around, they even see some shapes covered in webbing that it's safe to assume are pokémon that were wrapped up in the spider's web, those aren't moving at all.\nThe Lucario then steps inside, pushing away some chairs and tables on his way. He also notices that the ground is a bit sticky...\n\nRanii follows inside, grimacing as her foot also comes into contact with the sticky stuff on the ground. She looks at her foot, lifting it up and examining it, not sure if the sticky stuff is webbing, cum... both?!\nHer attention shifts as she hears the soft heartbeats inside the webs, and even a few soft sobs. Further examination of one of the shapes reveals that the subject, whatever it is, is covered head to toe in webbing... except for one area: the crotch. The crotch of a female, to be specific. With a bit of fluid leaking out of it.\n\"By the gods...\" She says to herself.\n\nLuca is speechless at this scene, seeing all these figures covered in web in the dark is terrifying, not to mention it feels like something could jump out of the shadows...He looks closely at one of the other mons stuck in web, this one has the rear expose, giving a view of a pair of testicles and an ass that looks like it has been thoroughly abused by fucking. Any ideas?\"\n\nHe takes a look around just to make sure it's safe before approaching Ranii to offer one his swords for her to use and help with this. \"Let's try to cut around it with these, if we sever enough of them it might all come loose under the weight of whoever is inside.\" Then he begins cutting at the silk with the other sword he has, being careful not to go too deep and hurt whoever is inside of this\n\nRanii nods, and takes the sword, likewise following suit. She isn't as good with these shortswords as she is with her spear, but for this task at least, she is sufficient with it.\nLittle by little, the female subject is cut loose, patches of orange fur making itself known, and excited muffled whines and wiggles soon following as the subject feels itself getting free.\n\"Easy, girl. Easy. We'll have you free from that in no time.\"\nHearing a female voice seems to calm her down some. Soon the cut cocoon containing the female subject falls, and with some wiggling, a female nickit crawls out, and pulls the last of the webbing off of her.\n\n\"Don't make too much noise, okay?\" Luca whispered to the fox. \"Hhhmmm, are you okay? Can you walk?\"\n\n\"They... They... they...\" The Nickit sobs, shaking and frightened, unable to complete a sentence. \nRanii gives the poor fox a light hug. \"There there...\" She says. \"You're going to be okay, mam.\"\nThis seems to calm her down a little. Not much, but enough.\n\"I.... Thank you. W-Whoever you are.\" She sniffles. \"T-The guild... they be-betrayed us. The bugs said... said we were\" she sniffles \"were going to be slaves! I... I thought this was going to be my life from now on.\"\nShe sobs some more.\n\"Slavery now? Really?\" Ranii groans. \"I thought slavery was banned everywhere.\" \n\nLuca nods. \"And it is. These bugs must be deranged...\" He then went to cut the other silk cocoon to free that male that was trapped inside, using the same tactic of carefully cutting it here and there.\nEveryone starts hearing a noise coming from above, sounds like wood creaking, over and over again...\n\n\"No... No, they're still here!\" The nicket begins to panic and shake.\n\"Calm down, mam!\" Ranii shushes her.\n\"Hurry up there, Luca.\" Ranii turns to her partner. \"Looks like there's more of them in this building.\"\n\nWhat gets cut loose out of this one was a Rattata, coughing and inhaling flesh air...or as fresh as it is in this place.\n\"Are you, alright?\" Luca asked.\nThe rat fearfully turned to him. \"O-oh...you are not a crazy bug, g-good...\" He sighs.\n\"Can you walk?\"\n\"N-no...\" The Rattata groans. \"You have no idea how much my ass hurts right now...\"\n\n\"Well, you can't stay here.\" Ranii tells him. \"For obvious reasons.\"\nThe noise from above is still going on.\n\"Actually, just stay down here for the moment. Luca, let's go upstairs and give... whoever that is, the business.\"\nShe looks over to the dead bugs.\n\"And let's see if we can't capture them alive this time. The ... uh... Nicket... I think it was, said something about 'slaves', and I don't know about you, but I want some answers.\"\n\n\"Stay here?!\" The Rat doesn't sound happy about this. \"W-we got turned into fuckstoys here!\"\n\"Shhhhh!\" Luca gestures to him to be quiet. \"It's safer in here than out here right now, so don't you get out of here.\" He then turns to the Avali and nods. \"Yeah let's go up there.\"\n\nRanii nods, and follows Luca up the stairs, expecting the worst based on the noises.\n\nAs they ascend the noise becomes more prevalent and Ranii can start making out some voices speaking, it sounds like it's coming from a nearby door that leads into a room.\n\"Aaahh~ S-so what do you think?! He pulls out his shield, that is all he is going to use. Wasting no time he rushes towards the enemy, ready to hit him with his shield.\n\"What?! Who's here now?!\" Elec exclaimed, he can't quite move his head to look.\n\"Oh it's no one too important!\" The Galvantula leaps off of the other electric type, with the intention to lunge at the Lucario.\nLuca got slightly taken by surprise by how aggressive this guy is right off the bat, his sides are already being grabbed by the spider's many legs, and he is pushing his shield against his foe's face to keep him from biting.\n\nUnfortunately, Ranii's options are quite limited in this tight space, so no fancy jumping. She settles for the same tactic she used on Fluffybuns/Slutbunny: turning Gungnir on its side, and smacking him on the back with it.\n\nThe Galvantula groaned in pain from that hit on the back, which gave an opening for Luca to pin him to the ground and start punching him in the face over and over again, hoping to start working towards beating him to unconsciousness. The Lucario was about to deliver a more powerful Power-Up Punch but the electric-type used Discharge, letting loose a flare of electricity that knocked his opponent away.\nVantu gets back up, looking at Ranii. \"Huh, if it isn't Ace Luca's strange little bird friend...you two are never apart.\"\n\nThis isn't good. If this keeps up, Ranii might just have to kill him anyway. For now, she sees if she can buy Luca some time. \"Do I... know you?\" She asks.\n\n\"No, we don't but we couldn't help but notice Four Eyes getting a new face.\" He was going to step closer but...\n\"And I still don't know what his deal is with me...\" Elec comments. \"I mean, Vantu, you stalked me for a while right? Even before...all this?\"\nNow this grabs his attention somewhat, though he still has eyes on Ranii. \"Why of course...you are such a strong electric type, but we are apart because you on a different guild...i want you, i want you as my favorite toy!~\"\n\"...Damn this guy is such a fucking creep...\" The Electabuzz mumbles to himself. How was he supposed to know an Ace from the Sandstone Guild wanted him this badly? This...this feels pretty awkward on top of creepy.\nThis was enough distraction for Luca to come at him again though, this time with long, glowing white claws extending from his paws! Which he uses to slash the Galvantula with.\n\"NGH! GAAAHH! YOU...!\" Vantu is still left alive after getting hit by that, which must mean that it was a move, regardless it made him scamper away to a wall which he began climbing.\n\n\"Oh no you don't!\" Ranii shouts, throwing the spear at one of his legs. Just like Luca, she figures that he'll live without a leg or so. Especially considering the very real possibility that an ace like him won't have much of a life left after all this is said and done anyway.\nEspecially considering she only needs him alive long enough to get some answers out of. Whatever happens after that is both out of her control, and out of her care. Especially what he and his cronies have done to the innocents in this place.\n\nThe spider was just about to reach for one of his victims imprisoned in silk to drain their energy and feed himself before returning back down to the fight with renowned vigor...but the Avali's spear severed a leg of his before he could do that. \"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!\" He loses his balance and falls on his back, flailing his remaining limbs about.\nLuca jumps on him to hold him down, hugging the bug-type from behind to keep him on his back so he can't do much.\n\nThe Avali's spear reappears in her hand, and she rushes over to the spider type, pointing the spear at him. \"You're going to submit. His struggling stops then. \"So...be it.\"\n\nShe keeps the spear trained on him.\n\"Good. First question: What does your guild know about Four Eyes?\"\n\n\"What we always knew of course.\" Vantu smirks. \"How you are the top lapdogs of the nobles of Sandstone, even now you protect them...\"\n\nAlthough her expression doesn't show as such, she gives a sigh of relief. At least they don't know what they're really planning in regards to the nobles. Or at least he doesn't. And she sees no reason to tell this creature otherwise.\n... It's our opportunity to join an ACTUAL Kingdom, the kingdom of sands? They'd be trying to get into the mansion. \nSpeaking of, they have things to do. Did ALL of your guild agree to this? If not, what did you do to them and where are they now?\" Ranii interrupts.\n\n\"Oh there were some that hesitated...or tried to run, but the guildmaster acted quickly and had them apprehended and tuckered down on the guild where they wouldn't be able to get in the way...I remember discussing adding them to the bunch of slaves we were gonna reap from what's happening right now~\"\n\n\"That's not going to happen.\" Ranii growls. \"And on that note, I think this conversation is just about done.\"\nShe leans in.\n\"Oh, but... one more thing. Remember the first two questions I asked you?\"\n\n\"Are you testing my memory now?\" Vantu doesn't sound amused.\n\n\"Do you, or don't you?\"\n\n\"Yes, I do.\"\n\nShe pulls away from him, and walks over to the side of him\n\"A little spoiler alert, but...\"\nHer eyes narrow as she begins\n\"... You got the answers to both of them wrong. Alright, I know where I gotta go so you don't have to worry about that. I'm just gonna free up all the captives here first. You guys can accomplish your objective.\" \n\n\"You sure about that?\" She pauses. \"Well, alright. You handle the captives, and... well..\" She looks at Vantu. \"Handle the other captive.\"\n\n\"Leave it to me.\" Elec gets to work of getting the pokémon stuck in sticky silk free.\n\"Now for the Mansion...\" Luca said as he turned around to leave back the way they came.\n\nRanii follows him... Again.\n\nFirst they go down to the first floor, where those two pokémon they rescued before are still there waiting for them.\n\"Well...you are alive, so I assume you dealt with that monster?\" The Rattata asks.\nThe Lucario nods. \"Yeah, we took care of him. A friend of ours is going to come down soon to lead you two somewhere safe, alright?\"\n\"Finally! I hope the smell of this place doesn't stick to me...\"\n\nRanii pats the Nickit on the head.\n\"Take care of yourselves, okay?\" She says softly to her.\n\"A-All right. I... Act 21: Battle for Sandstone (P2): We Unlucky Few


That spear of hers is really impressive, Luca thinks. But back on the topic of what matters. "Psychic type pokémon are really resourceful. And yes, let us go." He begins heading into the town. When they got far away enough from the big fighting at the entrance, Luca took in a breath, and the four black appendages that hang down from the back of his head began to rise as he concentrated his aura sensing. "Alright, now it's easier for me to concentrate, I need to get a fix on them..." Perhaps this is why Luca was chosen for this task, being able to track things so effectively.

Ranii waits for them to get his bearings, the sounds of battle still filling her ears from the rear. Although she regrets leaving the friends she's made during this assignment behind to battle those awful hordes, she knows that orders are orders. Even if Stic didn't have the authority to punish her for countermanding his orders, the avali high command certainly did.

Luca sighs. "It appears that there are Grove soldiers and Sandstone traitors around town, small groups but they appear to be wandering or lying in wait." He states the assessment of what he can sense. "Furthermore, Aceo and Elec are separated, but they seem to be perfectly alive. Aceo is the closest, let's go to him."
It doesn't take long for the sound of the enemy ahead to come within the Avali's earshot.
"Hah, most of these pathetic Sandstone fools are already running and hiding!"
"Which is BAD you idiot! I was looking forward to fucking some good ass but do you see any?!"
Looks like an argument going on between two Grove soldiers.
"The Sandstone Guild better come through for us and find out where they have gone. If I don't get to put my cock inside an ass, it's gonna have to be one of their asses, I swear!"

"Hmmm" Ranii whispers to Luca. "It's not really required to take them down, but not really of any trouble to. Your call, partner."

"Alright, I thought I see no quicker way than this path..."
There is the noise of something made of wood falling over near where those two are.
"Huh? You heard that Ivy?"
"Yeah...i did, came from that house we should check, let's go check it out."
They begin moving into a small house.
Luca can't quite hear what's going on from here so he is oblivious to the noise, but he can still see them going into the house. "Huh? What are they up to?"

"Beats me." Ranii replies with a shrug. "I guess that means we could move o-"
Her ears twitch, and her eyes narrow as she listens into the noises going on inside of the house.
"Scratch that." She growls threateningly. "We're taking those two out."

"Yeah, I thought the same." The more enemies die, the less threats they have moving around after all, besides, can't have them hurting the citizens of Sandstone.
"Oooh finally!" One of the Grove soldiers in there said, sounding delighted.
A scream from a female is heard, followed by a crashing sound as some struggle issues in there.
Luca peeks in through the open doorway to see what's going on in there.
 Right there in a corner is Snivy grabbing a Sandshrew, immobilizing her arms with his vines and putting the blade of a dagger near her neck. "Stop moving, whore! Or you will die choking on your own blood!" He threatens.
Unable to do anything now, the poor ground type sobs. "Please...just let go, I don't want to...AAAHH!" She could not finish what she was going to say because a cock went right up her ass without any warning.
Seeing his partner already fucking her, the other Grove soldier, an Ariados, groans in annoyance. "Geesh you didn't even let me have a say in which hole i could choose huh?"
"Oh don't worry, you can have a turn when i cum in her!"

Seeing that fills her with a rage. She may not know this sandshrew personally, but that hardly matters to the Valkyrie.
"You take the bug. I've got the other shitbag."

"Be careful, it looks like he could easily use her as a shield..." Luca warns Ranii, because it does appear that the grass snake might do just that judging by how he is holding his victim. He then grasps his swords firmly as he prepares in silence. "...now!" The Lucario runs in there with his swords poised to stab the Ariados, but when tried the spider jumps up and clinged to the ceiling.
"S-shit! enemy!" The Ariados shouted.
"Grrrr...!" The Snivy isn't very happy with this interruption. He walks back, pulling the Sandshrew with him until his back touches the wall. "Deal with him then!" Then he begins speeding up his hip movements, he does intent to stop fucking her until he finishes it seems.
The poor female sobs and screams louder as the pain in her rear increases form the rougher fucking she is getting.

"So that's the way you're going to play it?" Ranii growls as she looks up at the spider.
"Alright, switch up enemies then." She takes her spear, and lifts it over her head.
"Fuck this, Bug!!" She throws it right up at the Ariados.

The spider got speared through the abdomen, he screamed in pain and flailed his legs around as it appears like he got impaled to the ceiling.
Luca turned to the Snivy, he was going to advance on him but there is a problem with that...
The grass-type still has the female between himself and them. "Don't you dare get any closer! I will cut her throat!" He growls at the Lucario. He still hasn't stopped penetrating her.
"H-help!...Please!" She begs.
Luca grits his teeth, if he moves right now this Sandshrew might die, either from that knife near her neck, or if he himself makes a mistake with his own swords. "Let her go! And-"
"No! heheh, what were you going to say there? 'and you are gonna live'?" The Snivy said, moaning and laughing. "You think i'm stupid?! You might kill me anyways, I know it! But...i'm not gonna die without cumming first if i can help it!"

Luca takes a few steps back, really unsure of what to do, at least unsure of what to do alone.

She takes her spear, and tosses it at a wall over to the side. Rather than stick inside of the wall as one might expect, it bounces off, then bounces off another wall, heading straight for the Snivy's general direction. Once it does, Gungnir is like a hungry shark in the water, immediately rushing towards its prey....
And spearing the 'poor' snivy straight through the skull, ripping the plant-snake's head right off as the spear finally sticks into the wall opposite of where it was thrown, the spear pinning it's prized head to said wall for a few moments before vanishing into the air, the rapist's head dropping with it.

With this business done, all of them leave the house, but the ground type they rescued went her separate ways from them to make her way to the mansion, while Luca and Ranii are going in another direction.
This next street the duo is heading through seems practically deserted and devoid of danger but then...
A projectile comes flying through the air from far away, going in an arc...

There is something behind him though, it looks like an arrow, it didn't strike him directly but it seemed to have struck the Lucario's shadow.

"What the?!" Ranii looks behind her, her spear appearing right out of the air. She is on alert, and on guard. "Luca! What-what happened? There's no blood, and no projectile sticking out of it from the looks of it...

There isn't anyone in sight right now, these two still seem to be completely alone.
Luca tries to pull his own legs off the ground, but despite his audible efforts it's like they shackled, they just won't budge. He then spotted the projectile that was behind him, it reminded him a little bit of those bolts that crossbows can shoot, but it seems to be longer, and it's tip somewhat resembles a feather.

Ranii doesn't seem to know what's going on as she looks on, seeing Luca pinned to the ground through what seems to be some sort of unseen force
The closest thing she can see is that ... thing nearby that looks vaguely like a crossbow bolt sitting on his shadow. But... there's no way THAT's the problem...

The arrow easily came out of the ground when pulled.
Suddenly a shadow covered them, which would mean something above them just showed up, and it dived down with a pointed weapon being held in it's taloned feet.

Sure enough a very powerful downward blow of a spear strikes his shield full-force, the weapon itself breaks but the impact knocks Luca to the ground.
The culprit of this is a Ducideye currently trying to reorient herself in the air after her spear got blocked at the last moment and she was unexpectedly bounced back from that.

"The hell is that?" Ranii shouts as she regains her footing, her spear at the ready as she goes for Luca, pulling him to his feet.

The tall owl lands on the edge of a nearby roof, looking down at them both, especially the Avali. "'Winged Far Outsiders' i guess the rumors were not to be dismissed..." She mumbles to herself.
Getting back up, Luca looks back at the Pokémon, it's not one he has ever seen before. "Not sure, first time seeing a pokémon like this..."

"Well, I certainly never saw one like that either." Ranii comments.

"You." She points to the Avali. "Who are you?"
"Why do you want to know?!" Luca growled at the owl.
"I'm not speaking to you, dog."

"Same question" Ranii growls in return.

The owl narrows her eyes. "I am Duci, and you...you are clearly not from around here, Not many feathered pokémon would want to live in a wasteland such as this..."

"Let's just say I have certain obligations to certain powers." She says as she points the spear up at the bird-ghost. "Ones that necessitate that we protect this town and its civilians from brigands like yourself.... or your two rapist buddies we just killed."

"The Sand Kingdom is weak, you waste your time assisting them, stranger." Duci crosses her arms, making her wings cover her front like a cloak. "Even the guild named after this town knows it's doomed to fall, they wanted to be part of the winning side. Perhaps we could have given the same deal to you too, if you just didn't stand in our way, there would be much less blood spilled."

"Has it even occurred to you that this is precisely why we are defending Sandstone? Or more accurately, its civilian population? You say the people here are weak, that the traitor guild knows it's doomed to fall? We know. And that's why we fight you. To protect the weak and innocent, from you. You are the aggressor in this war, not us. Any blood spilled is on your hands, not ours."
Ranii glares at her, and growls.
"At any rate, this conversation is getting tiresome. So I'll give you this last warning: step aside and flee back to where you came from, or join your comrades in eternal damnation."
She spins the spear in her hand to illustrate her point, before gripping it with both hands once again and pointing it back up here.
"This spear never misses its mark, except at will. Quite a few of your buddies have already found that out the hard way."

".........So be it then." She spreads her wings. "If you do win this battle, what then?" Before any of them could answer if they wanted to, Duci began flying away. She must have been wise enough not to want to risk fighting them.
Lucas watches her go, wishing he could go after her, but that's not a possibility. Something about that owl just made her feel different from the other Grove pokémon he saw thus far, like she was cut above the rest. But regardless, now they need to get back to their objective. "Alright...she's gone, let's proceed."

"Yes... let's." Ranii replies.
She hopes however deep down that she did not just make a grave mistake by letting that ... thing, go like that.
And she cannot shake the feeling that they have not seen the last of them.

They start to approach Aceo's location, and they can already hear some noise of fighting.
The Avali can make out some of the yelling going on there.
"It's just one Greninja! Surround him again!"
"Try to stop him from moving!"
When they get a visual on what's going on they see a group of Grove and traitorous Sandstone guild members fighting against...a human, at least Luca and Ranii can see past the disguise because they have seem a human before, the rest of the pokémon in that fight seem fooled by the strawhat and the long red scarf around his neck coupled with his blue clothes. Moreover those two tonfas in his hands might be familiar.
Luca's eyes go wide at what he sees, he didn't think he would see him here of all places, and facing their enemies no less. "Him? here?"
So far it seems like Kage is handling them well enough, moving with finesse past a Zangoose's claws to deliver a beating to his stomach with his weapon, then putting one his tonfas aside to get a rock from his pocket, which he throws right at a head of a Simisage. Then he ran to Cacnea who panicked and put his arms up to try to defend himself, only for this agile fighter to pilfer some of his spikes, jump on top of his head and then jump 'again' to make the grass-type faceplant on the sand. The Cacnea spikes are then thrown at a Manectric.

"Well, let us not question providence."
Ranii jumps up into the air, her spear coming down right on top of the Zangoose, the spear burying itself in the white furred beast as she 'stands' on its shoulders with her talons. With a graceful leap, she leaps off, leaving the spear embedded in its body. The Zangoose topples over, dead before its face even hits the floor as the spear vanishes and reappears in her hand.
"We meet again." Avali greets the human without looking at him as she twirls the spear around and holds it out in front of her.

"Yes, we do." Kage responds to her greeting.
Pulling some of the spikes out of his arm, the Manetric approaches, he must be one of the traitors from the Sandstone guild. "Grrr, more of you huh?" He pulls out a large iron sword he had stored on his back. "No matter, I will cut you all down!"
"Why are you betraying us?" Luca asked as he walked in to join this fight.
The electric type glares at him. "Why are YOU protecting the nobles then, Four Eyes? How did you know we were allied with the Grove?" He demands.
"I'm not protecting the nobles, and I'm not exactly sure what you want exactly, but I'm not letting this town fall." He doesn't want to answer his question.
"I don't care about the nobles, or this city...the Grove is going to take over, and we are going to be on the winning side!"
Recovering from that blow to the head, the grass monkey goes for a move against the Avali, lobbing explosive seeds at her.
Meanwhile the cactus is just playing dead, terrified of the ninja.

"It's obvious that they're in it for the free sex and money." Ranii replies to Luca. "That's all their Guild has ever been."
Suddenly she hears the grass monkey lob explosive seeds at her, she leaps up into the air, avoiding them easily, and comes down upon him with her speartip straight at him.

The Simisage took a leap forward and successfully managed to avoid getting run through from above, seems like he learned from seeing his Zangoose comrade dying in a similar manner.
Luca was going to be the next unfortunate thing to happen to the grass monkey though, as he took advantage of the fact he made a move to avoid the Avali, he just swings one his swords horizontally and manages to to strike him right in the chest, the blade cutting deep enough to easily kill the Grove Soldier.
Roaring, the Manetric came rushing behind the Lucario, with his larger blade ready to be swung down at him. In fact he gets close enough to do just that...
But Kage got between them, placing one of his tonfa on the way of the attack to block it, for being made of wood it managed to hold against the blade. Then he spun his other tonfa as he swung it to the side of the electric type's head.
The Lucario looks back at the two of them fighting, he wasn't distracted with the now dead monkey and was going to do something about this traitor approaching from behind him...but he isn't going to complain about getting help.

Still thinking the Cacnea is dead, or at the least incapacitated, Ranii likewise concentrates on the manetric.
"So much for your Grove buddies, eh traitor?" She taunts.

"Grrr...damn you!" The Manetric kicks some sand up at the 'Greninja', who pulled his had down over his face to shield his eyes from the sand. He then turns around and starts running away.
But that spinning blade is coming towards Luca, he had to raise his swords to block this improvised ranged attack. "H-he's going to get away!"
Thinking quickly, Kage reaches into his pockets and throws something unto the fleeing pokémon's path, it's iron small iron spines arranged into tetrahedrons, so there is always a point end facing up.

Luca begins closing in on the traitor, stopping just short of getting struck by a swing of the Manetric's blade, he figured the fallen mon would have tried something. "Hmpft..."
The Manetric reaches for that small spike trap stuck to his feet, beginning to pull it out, which also looks like a painful ordeal to him. "Ngh...gaaahhh...!"
The Cactuar continues to lay there, hoping that she is going to ignore him despite all odds, hoping that he can fool her into think he is unconscious...but his fearful shivering is not helping this illusion he is trying to maintain.

"You might as well stop. As I've said, I can hear your heartbeat, so I know you're neither dead nor unconscious... Unless you want me to make sure you're dead by sticking this spear through your head."

"Hands on the back of your head." She orders, trusting that Luca has got the Manetric.

In a manner of speaking, yes Luca got the Manetric. He is standing over him with feet pressed over his sword arm. "You are just tiring yourself out at this point..."

A door from a home nearby opens and rushing out of there is Aceo, pointing his sword forward. "Come on you bastards!" Then he noticed that the enemies were beaten, and that Luca and Ranii were there. "Oh..." Letting out a shaky sigh, he stumbles back and slumps against a wall a bit...it does appear that he got some wounds, seems like he got hit on the left side of his chest by something sharp that also left a cut on his left arm.

Ranii looks over to Aceo.
"You alright?" She asks him. "You look like you've been through hell."
She looks back to the Manetric and the Cactuar. "Does anyone here have some rope?"
"Confirming. I do." A familiar metallic voice replies, confirmed by the metallic footfalls of heavy metal feet. He's head to toe in his armor, in addition to his 'natural' metallic body, his armor sporting blood of various colors on it.
"Jovial. Certainly you did not think I was going to spend the whole battle back at the base?" The Glitch laughs.
"Well, uh... I guess not." Ranii deadpans.
The glitch quartermaster/knight walks over to her, rope in hand.
"Smug. It might be easier if I do this, as I don't have flesh for those spines to pierce, after all."
Ranii grumbles under her breath, but nods.
"Fine go ahead, I need to tend to Aceo anyway."
Ranii leaves the Cactuar for the Glitch to roughly tie up with the rope. Steelwalker grabs the cactuar's wrists, folding them behind its back and then binding them together tightly.

Luca wants to go over to check on Aceo too, but still has to worry about this traitor he is restraining. "Do you have more rope?"

Luca takes the rope and forces the Sandstone Guild member to lie on his stomach, so that he can dies his hands behind his back. Getting his hands together with him struggling so much might take a while, but this Manetric is getting tired.

"So...did you guys defeat all these Grove and traitors that were out here just now?" Aceo asks. "Just you guys?"

"Well, yeah. I mean..." Ranii pauses, not sure whether to tell Aceo about the human just yet. ESPECIALLY in front of the POWs.
"Annoyed. You think they'd be a bit more grateful that their lives, and behinds, are being spared." Steelwalker comments to the prisoners, mostly to the Manetric. "False Pity. Although, that Sandstone guild traitor might not be so lucky in the end, all things considered. At least he'll get a trial, if nothing else."
"Additive. And yes, Luca, I will take him too."

"Could have sworn there was someone else out here..." But there are other pressing matters to attend to. "Anyways thanks for coming, they had me cornered."
The Lucario hands the Manetric over to the Glitch before going to the other two. "Aceo..."
"Yeah I know, I know" The Glaceon sighs. "Stic told me, I will make my way over there soon enough."

"Of course. We wouldn't leave a fellow to the wind." Ranii tells Aceo

"Now we just need to find Elec." Luca says before turning around to leave. "Don't get yourself cornered like that again, Aceo."
"Eh I'm trying, honestly things are pretty intense right now."

"Take care of yourself Aceo." Ranii says genuinely.

Now that they are done here, they make their way deeper into Sandstone. Here it seems there were engagements between the Four Eyes that helped in the evacuation and the enemies, as there is the occasional body of pokemon from either side lying around.

They come across a familiar place, Ara's 'Bothol'. There are dead grass and bug types from the Grove around the entrance.
To Luca this is more than a bit worrying, it looks like there has been a fierce fighting around and probably in the establishment too. "...Ara..."

Luca leads the way, carefully heading in with his swords at the ready.

"Hhhmmm so you wanna play hard to get? Okay then, girl~ Now let's play while I think of a safe word for you two~" Mrs. Fluffybun licks her lips and begins slowly approaching them like a predator ready to bounce on its prey.
Yeah it doesn't look like she wants to back down, she is completely off her rocker. But the Lucario comes up with a quick plan. "Ranii..." He begins to whisper. "We can't waste our time with her...we gotta make a run for the door. Let's go around her, i will go around her right, you take the left, if we separate she won't know who to go for..."

"Er, right."
She sets her hand down, deciding not to summon the spear... FOR NOW. If push comes to shove however, she could summon it, and use it broadside to smack her upside the head, or in the back. Or just back-end it to keep her at bay.
Right now, the Avali can't help but feel a little jealous of Luca having the shield, but at the same time very glad the quartermaster gave it to him.
She gets ready to run to the left, as Luca instructed.

Her eyes are focused on them, her paws and feet are firm against the ground as she is prepared to act.

"NOW!" Luca breaks into a sprint, aiming to go around the Lopunny by the right.
Letting out laughter, the rabbit moved herself to the right to try and go for him, but on all fours this would never work well, if they were facing her head on though she would have pinned them both down. No, this stance is not good for sideways movement at all, and she moved her head left and right to attack him with her ears...yes, her long ears.
The Lucario raised his shield to defend himself, those ears of her striking like whips, and with enough strength to make a clanking sound as if an actual weapon hit it with vigor. "Ngh...!" This terrifies him even more.

Since the bunny is focused on Luca, she is able to slip right past on the other side. However, a clank grabs her attention, she turns back...
"Luca!!" She shouts as she sees her friend/boyfriend blocking her ears with his shield.
Ranii doesn't waste a millisecond, summoning the spear in her hand. She turns it 90 degrees, holding it like a paddle instead of a spear. She takes a swing at the backside of the lopunny's head, intending to knock her out with the broadside of Gungnir.

That hardy bonk on the back of head did make this big horny rabbit pause for a second, then she turned her head around to look at the Avali. "Oooh don't worry, I'm not going to ignore you~" She begins standing up, and will likely be more mobile when she does so, not to mention how she towers over the Avali.
The Lucario now should be able to get to the door without a problem, but he doesn't want to leave Ranii behind, and he especially dreads the fact that it looks like she has the attention of this mad rabbit. "Ranii! Run!"

"Shit." Ranii was hoping this would knock her out, not simply focus her attention onto her.
She leaps back, landing some distance away, and turns to run.

Ranii can hear quick, approaching stomps behind her as she runs. The rabbit is in hot pursue...
Luca waited until his partner had made it out first, then he himself ran out at the last moment...with his tail almost being grabbed. He then looked back to see if she was still coming.
Mrs Fluffbun has her arms against the sides of the doorway. Without that wide smile on her face she is less creepy but her not saying anything and just staring somehow makes it feel like she's...angry.
"K-keep going!" He shouted as he kept on running. He doesn't know if she is still going to give chase since they are outside of the 'bothol' but he doesn't want to stick around to find out.

Ranii doesn't want to find out either, so she keeps running alongside Luca.

After some frantic running with intent to get far away from her as possible. Luca and Ranii get grabbed by someone and pulled into an alley.
Who pulled them in here though? It was Kage. "You have got to be careful running around here like that...the enemy ahead could have ambushed you easily."

Ranii pulls her fist back when she's first grabbed, thinking it's an enemy, but stops when she realizes who it is.
"Oh good, it's you again. I thought you were an enemy... or worse, her."

Leaning against the wall, Luca still has plenty of adrenaline going inside of himself, he is trying to come down. "What was even wrong with her anyways? Did she evolve?"
"So you saw it huh?" He crosses his arms. "She doesn't push herself that much most of the time. It's a bit more complicated to call it an evolution, yes it can be called that...but even i don't know what exactly it is. She could have evolved further...or perhaps regressed to a form of her species that was more capable of fighting."

Ranii isn't even going to pretend she understands what he means.
"And here I thought she was an insatiable succubus before!" She exclaims, still panting for breath from running.

Luca raises an eyebrow, he isn't sure what a 'succubus' is but he doesn't really feel like asking right now, he just guesses that it's something that is very sexually active. "Can you just...speak sense for once?"
"She is not in a good state of mind right now, I'm afraid. But I thank you for not resorting to violence against her..."
"Right..." He sighs. He is again reminded why he shouldn't have underestimated her. "Hhhmmmm...she got way stronger, no doubt about that."
".....Yes, she did."
Not being curious about this is quite a hard task now. "How exactly did she got like that?"
"hrrrmm..." Kage is a bit reluctant to talk about this. "It is a phenomenon called Mega Evolution. She has something on her person that allows her to use it."
Luca remembers that the Lopunny practically goes around naked, so how could she be 'carrying' something on her person? "How? What thing?"
"Females have more hiding places than males." He gives a moment of silence. "But I suspect she has it on her dense fur somewhere."

"Well, that's... interesting and everything." Ranii finally catches her breath. "But, if we're sure she's not stalking us, then we have a mission to accomplish."

"That's unlikely." The human shakes his head. "If she were to leave, the next living thing that crosses her vision will become her main priority."
If that is the case, Luca hopes she doesn't come across any Four Eyes. "Alright then...so, you said there was an ambush?"
"Yes, some Sandstone guild members have been sharing their knowledge of these streets with the Grove, and are using that to pick good spots to lie in wait to ambush their enemies."

"Well, I guess you know what to do now, right?"
Luca nods. "Yes." If there is an ambush waiting ahead he should able to find out with his aura sense, and now that he is calm enough he can use it effectively. He closes his eyes and begins to concentrate. "Hhhmmm...Kage is right, there are pokémon waiting up ahead, they are hiding." He grits his teeth. "For the look of things it looks like they got Elec too..."

"Welp, that's not good. I swear, those two are going to owe us some serious favors after this." Ranii grumbles.
"You know, we kind of missed the ball on this last time, but if we capture more POWs from that guild, we should ask where their guild leader is."

"With someone that like that guy, i think i would be a while until we convinced him to tell us anything useful." Luca is referring to that Manetric they met. "So what are you going to do, Kage?"
"If the battle is going advantageously for you, and victory occurs, my expertise won't be needed here any more, thus the task aiding you will fall to someone else. But let's focus on today instead of tomorrow." With that said, the human proceeds to jump from wall to wall, getting higher and higher until he could grab the edge of a roof to climb up.

"Hmm, wall jumping. I always prefered multi-jumps myself, but ah well." Ranii does just that, jumping up. When she reaches the height of her jump, a small burst of energy seemingly comes from below her feet, propelling her higher, followed by another, untill she is above the roof, and she lands on two feet on the roof with grace.

Luca watched as jumped after the human, he can't really follow so he has to stay down there. He sighs. "Wonder what that is about."
"hhhmmm?" Kage heard that the Avali landed right behind him, he didn't expect that. He turns his head around to look at her. "...is something the matter?"

"Oh? I thought I was supposed to follow you up here." Ranii says, confused.

"Not really, I was just taking my leave. But since you are already up here..." He points to the path ahead that they need to go to, it looks like something is happening there.
It's a Four Eyes Numel guild member, he is called Mel. He is currently walking down the street, worn and weary. Suddenly from one of the windows behind him a Galvantula appeared and shot an electrified web upon the poor fire-type, covering him in it and electrocuting him. And while he suffers from electrocution the spider pulls him closer by the web that he is covered in.

"Shit. Gotta tell my partner about this, and then go bust that up." She leaps down, and then tells Luca about what Kage just showed her up there.

After hearing that, Luca narrows his eyes and nods. "Alright let's go, but be careful, There are two more waiting just inside a house in front of the way we gotta go through."

Ranii sighs in irritation. "It's days like this that I almost wish I had brought a gun... or a gun to bring. Ah well."
She didn't have a firearm anywhere on her ship, or on her person. Though then again, perhaps a firearm would have brought too much attention to herself. She barely passes for a Hawucha as is.

The Lucario goes on ahead of her, with his sword at the ready. And surely enough a Carnivine and a Yanmega jump up from nearby windows upon Luca and Ranii respectively. He already anticipated it and stabs his swords through the floating flytrap's head.
But the threat of the Avali to deal with, the Yanmega, is trying to get behind her to grab her from there.

Thanks to the avali's ears, she hears it and immediately knows where it is.
"No, I don't think so." She says.
When it tries to grab her from behind, she leaps up into the air to avoid it. Now above it, she points her spear down, and descends, her spear pointed directly at its thorax...

"What?! how did you-" Ranii's spears successfully pierced the dragon-fly's thorax, it let out a scream of agony as it got impaled to the ground, shortly afterwards.
Meanwhile Luca pulls his swords out of the plant he just killed. "Honestly...I feel like I have killed more than enough for one day." He groans.
Next up is that small building where that Galvantula took their ally in, they are gonna have to go in there to save him.
"Hhhmm, pretty sure this is an inn." Luca comments. "I feel that Elec is in there too..." He places a paw at the door.

"Unfortunately I doubt this is the end of it." Ranii signs in response to Luca's groan. "Unless the Grove just suddenly throws down all their weapons and runs. Which, right now at least, doesn't seem likely. Not to mention there's still a Noble or two to... take care of."
As Luca places a paw on the door, she nods. "I can hear heartbeats in there, so there's definitely someone in there." She replies. She lets Luca go first.

Luca slowly opens the door to have a look inside.
It's frankly not easy to see in there in account of how dark it is, but they can see there are plenty of webs around, they even see some shapes covered in webbing that it's safe to assume are pokémon that were wrapped up in the spider's web, those aren't moving at all.
The Lucario then steps inside, pushing away some chairs and tables on his way. He also notices that the ground is a bit sticky...

Ranii follows inside, grimacing as her foot also comes into contact with the sticky stuff on the ground. She looks at her foot, lifting it up and examining it, not sure if the sticky stuff is webbing, cum... both?!
Her attention shifts as she hears the soft heartbeats inside the webs, and even a few soft sobs. Further examination of one of the shapes reveals that the subject, whatever it is, is covered head to toe in webbing... except for one area: the crotch. The crotch of a female, to be specific. With a bit of fluid leaking out of it.
"By the gods..." She says to herself.

Luca is speechless at this scene, seeing all these figures covered in web in the dark is terrifying, not to mention it feels like something could jump out of the shadows...He looks closely at one of the other mons stuck in web, this one has the rear expose, giving a view of a pair of testicles and an ass that looks like it has been thoroughly abused by fucking. Whoever did all of this doesn't seem to care if his captives are male or female.
The Lucario shakes his head and grits his teeth, this is no time to be scared. "What do we do with these? They still seem to be...alive."

"Well, I'll tell you what we aren't going to do with them..." Ranii replies grimly. "...Leave them like this."
She tosses her spear aside, letting it disappear into thin air, as she will need both hands for the task ahead. She approaches one of the entombed captives, and grabs at the silk, and pulls....
And pulls.
And pulls.
"Ugh, I can't get it off!" She says. "And the spear is too big and clunky to use as a cutting tool... Any ideas?"

He takes a look around just to make sure it's safe before approaching Ranii to offer one his swords for her to use and help with this. "Let's try to cut around it with these, if we sever enough of them it might all come loose under the weight of whoever is inside." Then he begins cutting at the silk with the other sword he has, being careful not to go too deep and hurt whoever is inside of this

Ranii nods, and takes the sword, likewise following suit. She isn't as good with these shortswords as she is with her spear, but for this task at least, she is sufficient with it.
Little by little, the female subject is cut loose, patches of orange fur making itself known, and excited muffled whines and wiggles soon following as the subject feels itself getting free.
"Easy, girl. Easy. We'll have you free from that in no time."
Hearing a female voice seems to calm her down some.  Soon the cut cocoon containing the female subject falls, and with some wiggling, a female nickit crawls out, and pulls the last of the webbing off of her.

"Don't make too much noise, okay?" Luca whispered to the fox. "Hhhmmm, are you okay? Can you walk?"

"They... They... they..." The Nickit sobs, shaking and frightened, unable to complete a sentence.
Ranii gives the poor fox a light hug. "There there..." She says. "You're going to be okay, mam."
This seems to calm her down a little. Not much, but enough.
"I.... Thank you. W-Whoever you are." She sniffles. "T-The guild... they be-betrayed us. The bugs said... said we were" she sniffles "were going to be slaves! I... I thought this was going to be my life from now on."
She sobs some more.
"Slavery now? Really?" Ranii groans. "I thought slavery was banned everywhere."

Luca nods. "And it is. These bugs must be deranged..." He then went to cut the other silk cocoon to free that male that was trapped inside, using the same tactic of carefully cutting it here and there.
Everyone starts hearing a noise coming from above, sounds like wood creaking, over and over again...

"No... No, they're still here!" The nicket begins to panic and shake.
"Calm down, mam!" Ranii shushes her.
"Hurry up there, Luca." Ranii turns to her partner. "Looks like there's more of them in this building."

What gets cut loose out of this one was a Rattata, coughing and inhaling flesh air...or as fresh as it is in this place.
"Are you, alright?" Luca asked.
The rat fearfully turned to him. "O-oh...you are not a crazy bug, g-good..." He sighs.
"Can you walk?"
"N-no..." The Rattata groans. "You have no idea how much my ass hurts right now..."

"Well, you can't stay here." Ranii tells him. "For obvious reasons."
The noise from above is still going on.
"Actually, just stay down here for the moment. Luca, let's go upstairs and give... whoever that is, the business."
She looks over to the dead bugs.
"And let's see if we can't capture them alive this time. The ... uh... Nicket... I think it was, said something about 'slaves', and I don't know about you, but I want some answers."

"Stay here?!" The Rat doesn't sound happy about this. "W-we got turned into fuckstoys here!"
"Shhhhh!" Luca gestures to him to be quiet. "It's safer in here than out here right now, so don't you get out of here." He then turns to the Avali and nods. "Yeah let's go up there."

Ranii nods, and follows Luca up the stairs, expecting the worst based on the noises.

As they ascend the noise becomes more prevalent and Ranii can start making out some voices speaking, it sounds like it's coming from a nearby door that leads into a room.
"Aaahh~ S-so what do you think?! I'm pretty tight, ain't i?!~" This voice sounds like it's from a male, but not a particular one they know of, and that tone doesn't make it sound like it's friendly either...
"Ngh...my dick in your ass is the last thing i wanted, it's...loose anyways." There was a snarky response to the other voice, and this voice is familiar, there is no mistake...it was Elec that said this just now.
"Aaaw don't say that now~" There is a moan. "You should be thankful I treat you better than the other ones, they can't handle a little electricity, unlike you~ I think i'm gonna...AAAAHH! Keep you, Elec!~"
Elec let's out a restrained moan, he is really trying not to enjoy whatever is happening to him in there. "Shut your face, Vantu..."
"You could have joined us you know?~ I had a good feeling we would make a good team, i have so many pussy, ass or mouth for you to fuck...but noooooo...Ooooh i do hope you come around, i'm sure you will, after i break you!~"
"Don't get too ahead of yourself..."

"Let's try to take this guy alive. Again, I want some answers." Ranii whispers to Luca.

"Got it..." When he got to the door he slowly began to open it to take a peek in there.
On the other side of this door there is a ruined bedroom, there are more webbed victims in there too, but most importantly the Galvantula has Elec's limbs stuck to the floor thanks to electrified silk, Vantu is power bottoming him.
Unfortunately some of the spider's six eyes saw the door opening, he knows they are here now...and he is delighted about that fact. "eh...! What's this now? More Butterfree flying into my web?!~"

"Well, crap. So much for the element of surprise" Ranii says as she summons her spear in her hand. Part of her is tempted to throw the spear as she has done before, but, as she said, she wants information.

If push comes to shove, maybe this Galvantula can live with a few legs, at least Luca thinks so. He pulls out his shield, that is all he is going to use. Wasting no time he rushes towards the enemy, ready to hit him with his shield.
"What?! Who's here now?!" Elec exclaimed, he can't quite move his head to look.
"Oh it's no one too important!" The Galvantula leaps off of the other electric type, with the intention to lunge at the Lucario.
Luca got slightly taken by surprise by how aggressive this guy is right off the bat, his sides are already being grabbed by the spider's many legs, and he is pushing his shield against his foe's face to keep him from biting.

Unfortunately, Ranii's options are quite limited in this tight space, so no fancy jumping. She settles for the same tactic she used on Fluffybuns/Slutbunny: turning Gungnir on its side, and smacking him on the back with it.

The Galvantula groaned in pain from that hit on the back, which gave an opening for Luca to pin him to the ground and start punching him in the face over and over again, hoping to start working towards beating him to unconsciousness. The Lucario was about to deliver a more powerful Power-Up Punch but the electric-type used Discharge, letting loose a flare of electricity that knocked his opponent away.
Vantu gets back up, looking at Ranii. "Huh, if it isn't Ace Luca's strange little bird friend...you two are never apart."

This isn't good. If this keeps up, Ranii might just have to kill him anyway. For now, she sees if she can buy Luca some time. "Do I... know you?" She asks.

"No, we don't but we couldn't help but notice Four Eyes getting a new face." He was going to step closer but...
"And I still don't know what his deal is with me..." Elec comments. "I mean, Vantu, you stalked me for a while right? Even before...all this?"
Now this grabs his attention somewhat, though he still has eyes on Ranii. "Why of course...you are such a strong electric type, but we are apart because you on a different guild...i want you, i want you as my favorite toy!~"
"...Damn this guy is such a fucking creep..." The Electabuzz mumbles to himself. How was he supposed to know an Ace from the Sandstone Guild wanted him this badly? This...this feels pretty awkward on top of creepy.
This was enough distraction for Luca to come at him again though, this time with long, glowing white claws extending from his paws! Which he uses to slash the Galvantula with.
"NGH! GAAAHH! YOU...!" Vantu is still left alive after getting hit by that, which must mean that it was a move, regardless it made him scamper away to a wall which he began climbing.

"Oh no you don't!" Ranii shouts, throwing the spear at one of his legs. Just like Luca, she figures that he'll live without a leg or so. Especially considering the very real possibility that an ace like him won't have much of a life left after all this is said and done anyway.
Especially considering she only needs him alive long enough to get some answers out of. Whatever happens after that is both out of her control, and out of her care. Especially what he and his cronies have done to the innocents in this place.

The spider was just about to reach for one of his victims imprisoned in silk to drain their energy and feed himself before returning back down to the fight with renowned vigor...but the Avali's spear severed a leg of his before he could do that. "AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" He loses his balance and falls on his back, flailing his remaining limbs about.
Luca jumps on him to hold him down, hugging the bug-type from behind to keep him on his back so he can't do much.

The Avali's spear reappears in her hand, and she rushes over to the spider type, pointing the spear at him. "You're going to submit. Now. And on top of that, you're going to answer my questions... got it, Vantu?!" She spits that last name with venom.

"I'm not letting go of you, no matter what you try!" Luca said, just to reinforce the fact that he isn't going anywhere.
"grrr..." The spider hisses at her. His struggling stops then. "So...be it."

She keeps the spear trained on him.
"Good. First question: What does your guild know about Four Eyes?"

"What we always knew of course." Vantu smirks. "How you are the top lapdogs of the nobles of Sandstone, even now you protect them..."

Although her expression doesn't show as such, she gives a sigh of relief. At least they don't know what they're really planning in regards to the nobles. Or at least he doesn't. And she sees no reason to tell this creature otherwise.
... Or at least it seems.
"Okay, and what am I?" She asks next.

"eerr? What mind games are you playing with these questions?"
Luka pokes his spike against the spider's back. "She is the one asking the questions here, not you."
He hisses. "Fine...an Hawlucha, you are an Hawlucha.

.... And he doesn't know about the Avali either. Good.
"Okay, just confirming that your mental facilities are indeed functioning at least SOMEWHAT correctly. Now for the actual questions.... Like why is your guild doing this? Betraying the innocent civilians of sandstone and raping them the way you are?"

"Why wouldn't we? It's our opportunity to join an ACTUAL Kingdom, the kingdom of sands? It can barely be considered a kingdom." He laughs. "Our guild master saw a good opportunity for us, yes he did~ Why would I care about protecting a bunch of mons I don't even know from the inevitable when I can be a part of the inevitable?"

She holds back the urge to smack him across the face. Maybe later.
"So basically, you sold out innocent lives for free pussy and money? Pathetic." She spits on him, and continues.
"One of the innocents we rescued downstairs mentioned one of your cronies said something about selling them into slavery."

Vantu doesn't look pleased at the fact that she spat on him. "Really? You don't know that one? Heheh...i guess it is a forgotten little thing. Stopping slavery is a responsability that falls upon us, that is...if we didn't let it fall through us of course." He laughs. "We, the guilds, are supposed to enforce the ban on slavery, but you will hardly, if ever, see one that takes that job seriously."

"Explain further." Ranii's voice darkens as she growls it out.

"Fine then...if you really know nothing about it." He holds back his amusement in case he is making her angry. "A committee was formed to ban slavery, it all began with this one guild, the Ashshell and their guildmaster...who made that Comittee, not too long after that, you don't hear anything about him anymore...like he just...vanished~" He snickers. "I bet the nobles weren't happy with that, probably did something to get rid of him."

"I... see." She knew most of that part, and it wasn't the answer she was looking for. She also recalls that this is around the same time these 'Wallbreaker' lunatics started showing up as well.
Oh boy, that was another problem. In fact, she was outright surprised they haven't shown their faces yet. Then again, knowing them, despite the fact that they wouldn't be here. They'd be trying to get into the mansion.
Speaking of, they have things to do. As much as the Wallbreakers and the four eyes (secretly) both wanted all the nobles dead, they could not allow the Wallbreakers to claim victory. That could lead to even worse consequences.
So she decides to get on with this questioning, in hopes of wrapping this up. No pun intended.
"So you fuckers were engaged in slave trading too? Is there no low to which you Sandstone Guild fucks won't sink to?"
She quickly coughs.
"You know what, don't answer that. The real question is: where were you going to take these poor souls once you had your way? Who were you going to sell them to?"

"We agreed to sell them to the Grove of course...with their little war effort we had figured they would need manual labor, and other 'fun' things of course." He smirks. "You understand what i mean~"

She jabs him with the blunt end of the spear. "Specifics, asshole." She growls. "I want names and locations."

"Oof!" He groans. "The boss of these Grove guys was someone we would consider asking if they wanna buy. But there is also this noble in Drywell called Mandi who we plan on selling some of the 'exotic ones' to."

"Luca, any idea who that is?" Ranii asks her partner this time.

The Lucario shakes his head. "I'm afraid I don't know much of anything outside of Sandstone..."
"Heh, talk about living under a rock." The Galvantula snickers, deciding to tell them about anyways because at this point, does it really matter? "Mandi is a Mandibuzz, she has...a thing for bones. Rumor has it she even has a collection of bones that she finds interesting."

That is... disturbing, but not particularly useful information. At least, not in the here and now. And speaking of which, this shitty spider's usefulness is pretty much at an end.
"Luca, you got any questions you wanna ask, or do we wrap this up?" She asks.

"Yeah...i do." Luca knows he can't look at the spider in the eye right now, but he is glaring. "Your guildmaster, where is he?"
"Oh, somewhere safe of course. But i wouldn't know. He didn't join the action, he just did most of the negotiation with the Grove, maybe he at the Sandstone guild...or maybe he not, i wouldn't know~"

"Actually, now that I think about it, I do have one last question... Did ALL of your guild agree to this? If not, what did you do to them and where are they now?" Ranii interrupts.

"Oh there were some that hesitated...or tried to run, but the guildmaster acted quickly and had them apprehended and tuckered down on the guild where they wouldn't be able to get in the way...I remember discussing adding them to the bunch of slaves we were gonna reap from what's happening right now~"

"That's not going to happen." Ranii growls. "And on that note, I think this conversation is just about done."
She leans in.
"Oh, but... one more thing. Remember the first two questions I asked you?"

"Are you testing my memory now?" Vantu doesn't sound amused.

"Do you, or don't you?"

"Yes, I do."

She pulls away from him, and walks over to the side of him
"A little spoiler alert, but..."
Her eyes narrow as she begins
"... You got the answers to both of them wrong. Don't worry, you were meant to."
Before he can ask what she means by that, she jams the blunt end of the spear into the side of his head to knock him out.

"Wha-ngh!!" The electric spider gets knocked out.
"Okay...that's that..." Luca pushes him off to get back up.
"Sooo..." Elec is still there on the floor, stuck in webs. "Are you two done with him?"

"Yes, we are." Ranii says. "Although, if you are thinking of killing him, I'm going to have to ask you refrain from that... command might still have use for him. Or not. We'll see."
"Oh and Luca, thanks for holding him." She says sweetly.

"Yeah, you are welcome Ranii." The Lucario smiles.

She helps Luca in cutting Elec down, the same way she cut the Nickit down.

"That's alright, really."
After being cut free, the Electrabuzz stretchers a little. "Aaaaw, finally some free movement, thank you both. Alright, I know where I gotta go so you don't have to worry about that. I'm just gonna free up all the captives here first. You guys can accomplish your objective."

"You sure about that?" She pauses. "Well, alright. You handle the captives, and... well.." She looks at Vantu. "Handle the other captive."

"Leave it to me." Elec gets to work of getting the pokémon stuck in sticky silk free.
"Now for the Mansion..." Luca said as he turned around to leave back the way they came.

Ranii follows him... Again.

First they go down to the first floor, where those two pokémon they rescued before are still there waiting for them.
"Well...you are alive, so I assume you dealt with that monster?" The Rattata asks.
The Lucario nods. "Yeah, we took care of him. A friend of ours is going to come down soon to lead you two somewhere safe, alright?"
"Finally! I hope the smell of this place doesn't stick to me..."

Ranii pats the Nickit on the head.
"Take care of yourselves, okay?" She says softly to her.
"A-All right. I... I'll try." The nicket sniffles, still shaken up. "T-Thank you. I... If it wasn't for you... We-we'd be slaves-"
"Speak nothing of it." Ranii says.
She nods towards Luca, silently urging him to be on his way.
