This is the last submission in this series I have started on, though it may well be the longest.","writing":"Lord/Supreme Strategist Roketsune Supreme Commander of the Kantarian war effort and unmitigated flamer femboy\n\nI take great pride in the fact Roketsune is very, very unique. I have never come across a male character who was in the military and was so incredibly girly at the same time. There might be an anime, manga, or furry creation somewhere that features a femboy commander or soldier. Even if there is, I'm sure mine is generally far better as well as more perverted. Who can top a raccoon who is a master strategist, carries a plushie even on the bridge, and is also a great candidate for erotic model? Of course, I'm also quite biased, since he's not only really awesome and cute but also a core part of my spirit. This one is going to be really, really long as a result.\n\nSomewhere in 2013 or 2014, I had decided there needed to be two versions- schoolboi and strategist- of my fursona. My strategist side rapidly grew as I developed and became empowered, and I often spoke and acted textually both as a strategist and my fursona. My fursona in general rapidly developed during the last 5 or so years, actually, deciding in maybe 2013 he would be a full femboy with orange hair, the year before that he'd have free-flowing auburn hair, and the years before he'd have long hair with bangs and a ponytail. Before that, he was more masculine and had short-medium hair. Blech, I was so ignorant years ago... It's actually taken me about 20-30 minutes to write this paragraph because I was trying to remember when I made what changes. Anyway, in 2013-2014, his current physical characteristics and versions were decided, and from 2014 to present the strategist version's story and depth rapidly grew. I suppose technically there is a third version of him: the semi-RL version I speak and act as periodically, the one directly influenced by my current mood and experiences and such. Damn, this is complicated.\n\nThe two (disregarding the aforementioned one) versions of him are very distinct and separate, but very similar simultaneously. While the Strategist version cannot be 15 due to an established and perpetually expanding war chronology, they both have the appearance and voice of a highly effeminate/androgynous 15-year-old raccoon and that is sacrosanct. They both have similar to identical psychological characteristics, though the strategist inexorably has comparatively more anxiety and grief relative to the Schoolboi. They're both just as unabashedly feminine and expressive. Sexually, both are highly proficient and desirable. However, the Schoolboi is more fixated on/used for sexual gratification and his profession is amateur erotic fashion model, while the Strategist must lead his nation to military victory and sexual activity is only alluded to occasionally in my writings (though he is just as talented at erotic modeling as the first version and I recently imagined him still doing it off duty). In short, Strategist is primarily business, Schoolboi is pure fun.\n\nSo, the ultimate result is, Kantaria has as its Grand Strategist (and often fleet admiral) a total femboi who sounds and acts like a very gay teenager, yet is also extremely intelligent and strategically minded. He does wear the standard Kantarian Grand Strategist uniform at all times (though, coincidentally, the top half is a tunic and thus has the appearance of a skirt at the bottom) and generally doesn't masturbate on the bridge and the like, but he will ALWAYS have painted claws and perfectly groomed hair, and will often even have his plushie with him. Like a typical confident femboy, he has zero compunctions about expressing all manner of emotion, even cuddling his beloved Kaleusthes (the same plushie I have IRL) on the bridge when distraught. He is highly emotional and sexual, but highly logical as well. His near-total disinhibition paired with his extreme capabilities for grand strategy make him an enormously effective and respected commander. In our world, he would be rejected with great prejudice by every single military. On his, being quirky and feminine is at worst irrelevant.\n\nAt first he just kind of always led the KMO and the thought of when and how he entered it didn't occur. As the military imagery and then writing intensified, details started rapidly forming. What I came up with was this: Early in the revolution or just before it started, he approached the militia in his typical slutty femboi clothes and offered to volunteer in a non-combatant role. Marshal Shorin (one of the senior commanders then and now) was surprised but intrigued by this curious and bright raccoon who OBVIOUSLY would never be fit to serve on the front lines, and he also needed leaders more than grunts anyway. Roketsune was tasked with overseeing... I don't know, exactly. Factories, supplies, morale, and logistics for sure. He was what they call an 'administrative' officer. Eventually they had a crisis and desperately needed a competent army commander. He seemed informed enough on military strategy to be given this task, and he obviously was able to stabilize the situation. Since he was very well informed on both the industrial and 'tactical' sides of a war effort and showed a remarkable ability to empathize with and coordinate the efforts of both types of officers, they made him their supreme commander after their nuclear catastrophe. \n\nRoketsune's management style could be categorized as laidback, moderate, trusting, and effective. He chooses excellent officers for things and he is aware of this, so he will often delegate things to them, and usually will defer to them if they insist on doing/not doing something. He exerts a level of oversight and control which is neither lax nor interfering, and he actually is at his post only around 6 hours a day. He's very gentle and compassionate generally, which makes him highly approachable by soldier and marshal alike. He does not tolerate in the slightest incompetence, corruption, or laziness, but he will quickly pardon those who make honest misjudgements (and he's committed a few of those, too) and isn't exceedingly demanding. As I mentioned earlier, he also is highly disinhibited and thus tends to be very informal and overtly sexual. He allows his staff to use the title Lady instead or even no title at all, and brags about his large penis on occasion. He thus naturally drives away all those who would be considered very 'professional' and formal and demand it from everyone else, while attracting those who appreciate his unorthodox and peculiar style.\n\nThere's a duality about him ideologically and psychologically. With other Takomenians, he is extremely empathetic and compassionate. He routinely stresses the importance of treating the enemy as cultural and moral equals who generally are just misled and placed in an impossible dilemma, even ensuring many memorials are dedicated to all sides involved in a battle. He and most others don't wish to be fighting this war and don't loathe the other side beyond perhaps certain governmental figures, and that would be reflected in the terms of surrender and occupation down the road. That extraordinary compassion and introspection, however, is almost entirely absent when Terrans are the other side in question, and this is very reflective of me IRL. He is horrified at the things many of them practice and the rampant dysfunctionality even of the 1st World. He generally despises them and sees them at best as people who should be ignored, and at worst possibly deserving of complete destruction if it came to that. A post-war Takomen would be harmonious and peaceful, but the equivalent with Earth would be dominated by displays of Takomenian superiority and massive deaths from rapidly and mercilessly implemented cultural reforms. Thus, he is not incapable entirely of malevolence and brutality and can be categorized as a sort of supremacist, but that is entirely absent in the war he is directing. \n\nOverall emotionally, he is very reactive and makes no attempt to conceal his mood generally. Whether he is angry or saddened or jovial, everyone who can observe him will see this very quickly. While his default mood is exuberant, he will and has become distraught when his soldiers are dying in large numbers for nothing, especially if this happens multiple times despite his best efforts. He isn't the stoic type that reacts calmly to all developments, nor is he the borderline-malevolent type who sees his troops as expendable pawns. In fact, he finds the death of the enemy very lamentable as well. However, he will do what he must to prosecute the war with the lowest costs without remorse regardless. This extreme expressiveness makes him appear in a way as a vulnerable adolescent and causes some disapproval, but it also makes him extremely genuine and compassionate to all under his command, someone who's incapable of deception or callousness. He thus engenders an extreme amount of trust and enthusiasm in his military. \n\nThat being said, he has an extremely high emotional intelligence as well as basic and strategic intelligence. That is one of the traits he shares with me IRL, only his is obviously higher. He's very reactive and volatile, and will clutch his plushie and kind of stare off or look down momentarily if his planned attack ends disastrously. He even stormed off the bridge once and cried after his paratroopers faced destruction, despite his ship being engaged by multiple enemy battleships. However, he's not unstable or unhealthy emotionally. He will rebound very quickly, and does not needlessly feel remorse for long when he unwittingly causes a debacle or for causing deaths every time he gives an order. He knows he tries his best and that the war is necessary for the planet to reach a true state of peace and harmony. This is also a trait he shares with me, holding himself to very high standards but not devaluing himself when he falls short of standards or objectives. For some reason almost everyone else in recovery had an inferiority complex of some sort, but I never did, realizing the commitment to improve and the ability to see when I have erred is good enough. Though, I am still very neurotic and experience sometimes acute anxiety in response to failure despite my healthy attitude, a flaw he doesn't share.\n\nAlso, despite his emotionality and extremely effeminate demeanor, his general strategic/tactical style is very aggressive, which I'm sure surprised some of the officers who saw him ascend and wondered how timid he'd be. He was the driving force behind Kantaria's official military doctrine, which emphasizes blitzkrieg and maximal offense. He's exhausted his workers and soldiers countless times in the quest to keep his military on the offensive as often as possible. Kantarians are naturally more mobile and less suited for defense due to the 80% anthro population, which naturally reinforces a maneuver offense doctrine. However, after analyzing data from the current war as well as Terran military history, it just seems logical to be offensively oriented generally. Aggressive maneuver warfare worked very well for the Germans (well, until they went to war with everyone simultaneously and invaded Russia without winter gear) and the Americans during the 1st Gulf War, so why not Kantaria? Of course, they have managed to exhaust and demoralize the enemy on countless occasions by attacking so repeatedly, or to make an enemy victory more costly and bloody by effectively counterattacking. His orientation also reflects mine with regards to life in general: It will hurt me more to remain static and reactive, less to be on the offensive as much as is feasible and optimal, while accepting I will make mistakes or need rest.\n\nSpeaking of learning and intelligence... His basic raw intelligence is extremely high. I don't have an IQ number to give, but he's easily what we would call a genius. Roketsune is a very idealized character who is or could be extremely good at pretty much everything. So, his level of the various types of intelligence is very high, including basic and rational intelligence and memory. I imagine him as the sort who can read something casually and remember most or all of it, and rapidly incorporate it into whatever applicable process. It doesn't take him long to become very familiar with, say, Terran military history, or military strategy that they taught at the academy he never really attended. This great ability to rapidly acquire and utilize information, paired with the drive to do so, not only makes him personally efficient but allows rapid bolstering of his abilities as a commander. Of course, it also allows the Schoolboi variant to pass all his classes with laughable ease despite often skipping class to yiff his equally horny schoolmates.\n\nSpeaking of yiffing, I imagine the Strategist version still engages in it quite often, and more often than not with cubs. While he is far more gifted and proficient than I am, like me IRL and his counterpart, he prefers endowed pubescent cubs. However, since he is the highly trained and educated hero of the people rather than just an extremely popular model that half the country's masturbated to at some point (though that's wonderful as well), being one of his partners is considered a prestigious honor for the cub and their family. The Takomenians don't consider pederasty to be wrong. To them it's a mentoring opportunity with lots of fun involved. Anyway, all that being said, I haven't come up with more than one specific relationship for that version. The commandant of the Marietta naval base has a young son who sleeps with him, and often humorously complains that Roketsune yiffing his child hasn't come with any reduction in his workload. \n\nOther than all that, I have imagined him either wearing or having conversations about wearing femboi clothes when not on duty and either relaxing or chasing tail. I've also contemplated the idea of him doing what the Schoolboi version does as his career: erotic modeling and solo porn. Of course, that seems pretty weird even to me, but, it couldn't hurt Kantaria to masturbate furiously to their chief strategist as well as rely on him, and he's free-spirited enough to actually do it! There's also the convenient and logical idea of placing both versions in one storyline, the Schoolboi being before the revolution and his rise to power after. But, I haven't made any of that canon and am content to maintain the status quo while I intermittently ponder the ideas. Anyway, I think that covers everything! \n\nSupreme Marshal Perredine 2nd in command and confidant of the femboy-in-chief\n\nThis is a character who has also undergone changes and visions over a long period of time. Experience and development have made even my fictional endeavors more refined and functional, and he's an example of this. He's also something of an anomaly on Takomen in general, as he's not only an American emigre but also of African descent, whereas almost all other officers who are human are both native Takomenians and what we would call caucasian. He is invaluable to both Kantaria and Roketsune, as he competently directs the military in the latter's absence and reacts appropriately when he sees his superior and friend is becoming very emotional. As Roketsune is often on the flagship and it's preferred for both the 1st and 2nd to be together, he also doubles as the XO/executive officer of the Procyonidae.\n\nHe is a character who was a holdover from a previous different storyline I had envisioned. Once the current one became all-consuming and the former was rendered irrelevant, most of the characters were given a role in the current one in some capacity. He had been in effect my human persona's second in command, so it was naturally he also had the same role here. From various experiences, I found I really liked the idea of a jovial and approachable black guy with a great laugh, as strange as that sounds. He had no name until earlier this year, honestly, and hearing a planetary name from an episode of the 1980 version of Battlestar Galactica inspired it. I don't have much background envisioned for him, but, I imagine he is a high-ranking veteran of the US military who defected to Kantaria, making him a very attractive officer candidate for the latter. Due to his experience and personality, he quickly became a member of the very senior staff. \n\nPsychologically and managerially, he's very similar to Roketsune, only more masculine and less emotionally volatile. He knows how and when to delegate and how to manage personnel, and he's usually smiling or laughing when there isn't something major going on, so people like dealing with him just as much as his superior. Where they differ is reaction to negative events. Perredine will calmly and stoically take in data and make decisions/give advice, while Roketsune will be visibly upset and possibly even distraught initially while he takes in data and ponders. Perredine is overall very even-tempered and resilient, and acts as an important counterpart to Roketsune. Perredine very well understands Roketsune and vice versa, so he will often adroitly intervene when he sees his commander needs a short respite to get his bearings, or be tasked with dealing with an irate officer when Roketsune just needs to recuperate after a stressful sortie. They understand each other's strengths and weaknesses and explicitly trust each other in certain situations.\n\nA great example of Roketsune's trust in Perredine and the latter's indispensability is an incident during the horrific and costly fighting on the Western Front in 2014. Roketsune deployed most of the paratroopers to effect a massive envelopment of enemy forces after receiving some intel. The attack was probably pretty sound given what they knew and other circumstances, but, the enemy was able to contain them and halt the attacking field armies supposed to link up with them ultimately, and additionally a group of battleships started engaging the flagship. The only logical recourse was to fire nuclear shells in support of the paratroopers and order them to breakout, another in a recent series of mishaps under his command. Roketsune essentially had a nervous breakdown for a few hours, managing only to order the nuclear salvo before storming off the bridge, seriously alarming his staff and calling into question how much of a liability his emotional traits ultimately were. Perredine instantly knew what was happening and very calmly directed and reassured the bridge crew, seamlessly taking over as commander of both the ship and military. Roketsune could only cry in remorse while holding his stuffed animal in bed, but he knew Perredine was just as capable of directing the naval battle as he was, and he also knew he wasn't in a state to lead. Roketsune soon fully recovered and Perredine staunchly defended his superior, while Roketsune unflinchingly admitted what happened and praised his subordinate.\n\nPerredine very effectively serves a few roles. He often is on the Procyonidae when Roketsune is, which makes him 2nd in command of both the ship and the military. Thus, he handles the myriad mundane aspects of the ship more often. When Roketsune is off duty or otherwise unavailable, he's the captain of the ship and will address and advise various officers reporting from the fronts. If Roketsune is at the HQ instead, he's also usually there, which means a purely naval 3rd officer would captain the Procyonidae. Perredine is also Roketsune's chief delegate for many situations if a well-rounded and charismatic expert in general is needed. Additionally, Perredine has on his own ensured there is a qualified adjutant on Roketsune's periodic inspections who will both understand Roketsune's quirks and vulnerabilities and will tactfully act accordingly. He is an enormously capable commander who will undoubtedly serve Kantaria well throughout the entire war and beyond.\n\nSupreme Marshal Kepler Commander of Kantarian marines, Kantaria's version of Chesty Puller\n\nAs with the other characters, this one started accruing details and background slowly over time. Compared to the first two, this and subsequent entries are rather light. Anyway, he is the senior commander of the Maritime Assault Command, someone who has served both on the front lines and at rear HQs, capable of leading from either location. His name came to me while I was listening to a Touhou musical piece and having various visual and auditory inspirations, and ultimately made him a native Kantarian despite the name being German. He's decidedly quite masculine and can easily man a machine gun or rifle if he needs to, placing him in stark contrast with the flaming femboy officer who oversees him and being the cause of some good-natured teasing from the marine.\n\nI haven't imagined a history before this, but, I'm sure during the rebellion he served as a front-line officer of sorts, later serving as a marine when the ability to attack that way was attained. He's an officer of exceptional skill, endurance, courage, and also strategic ability. The nature of this period necessitated rapidly promoting people who hadn't served long, and when he was discovered by senior leadership he was fast-tracked to leader of the MAC. Of course, he tended to command from the rear soon after the MAC became a modern and fully functional branch of the KMO, though that is largely because of the protestations of his emotional superior rather than a serious aversion to being on the front. As he has fought as an infantryman and can direct forces from the front, he has a special kind of rapport with and understanding of soldiers that purely rear strategic officers cannot attain, though Kepler is the first to insist both types of officers are needed. \n\nDespite the stark differences in personality and stress tolerance, both men get along very well with each other. Both understand each type has an optimal role in warfare, and they understand what theirs is. Kepler has made humorous remarks on many occasions to Roketsune, once finding the idea of him riding in a panzer absurd because he'd inevitably chip a claw, another time wondering whether to call him mother or father because of his concern for his safety the day after convincing him to allow him to land with marines to maximize their chances of success. When Kepler found out Roketsune almost assaulted an officer who disparaged the troops, he said despite being a prancer (neutral term over there for very effeminate males) he could have caused a lot of damage had he done what Kepler would have done. \n\nGrand Marshal Larien Perpetually busy and overburdened commandant of Marietta\n\nThis is one of the lesser known officers of Kantaria, and this one's primary role is humor. He is the commandant of the naval base of Marietta, which means he is responsible for not only the repair and outfitting of the fleet but also the other functions such as personnel and static defenses. As a result of the huge responsibility he has, he has a facetiously adversarial relationship with his superior, reflecting Roketsune's extreme tendency towards informality. However, I originally invented him as a sexually humorous plot device, as his pubescent son regularly fools around with Roketsune and his workload only increases regardless. However, his background has expanded out of necessity due to his critical role in the Kantarian war effort.\n\nLarien I imagine is an otter somewhere in his late 30's to 40's, somewhat masculine, having one child, and is far more gentle and reasonable than his breathtakingly hostile and silly arguments with Roketsune would suggest. He's the sort of person who will angrily rant about this or that and will routinely become upset when something interferes with his job, but he is not a slave-driver type of boss. Of course, he has excellent and abundant reasons for being grumpy, given how massive both Marietta and the typical naval presence on the Western Front are. And, of course, if Roketsune does screw up and causes the fleet to suffer more damage than was necessary, he will be angry with him for real and protest the resulting addition to his and his crew's workloads. He's blunt and at times merciless, but very dedicated and capable, and reasonable with his subordinates (and usually his superiors).\n\nThere was one grand exchange I had in my mind that was inspired by a self-inflicted emotional injury at FWA 2014, and I even now would like to have the image sketched. They are at Marietta at night after the fleet returns. In the background, the Procyonidae is on fire and panicked shipyard personnel are scrambling to deal with it. Larien's absolutely furious with Roketsune after hearing the cause of such severe damage, yelling, \"You nuked YOURSELF?! And you expect me to repair this by NEXT MORNING?!\". Roketsune is blushing profusely and has a very embarrassed countenance, and meekly says, \"Well, heh, yes, I was hoping that was possible...\". Larien responds with, \"A lot of good it's doing me for my son to be sleeping with you!\", though he doesn't actually want or expect favors. In reality the ship wasn't actually still on fire and Roketsune wasn't quite so meek and useless, but the image to me is hilarious and a great representation of the unique nature of their professional relationship.\n\nIn another exchange, Larien actually comes aboard the Procyonidae unannounced, even being allowed on the bridge. He catches Roketsune and Perredine off guard as he starts raising concerns to the former in his uniquely abrasive yet charming way. After each make moronic and childish remarks on each others' species, Larien gets to the point and sincerely raises concerns over his rapidly dwindling reserve of ship components, the protracted series of naval battles causing dreadful attrition for both sides. They both seriously address each other and this rather critical problem at that point. \n\nSupreme Marshal Shorin Was the savior of Kantaria, now the commander of ABC and 1st one to evaluate a seductively dressed Roketsune\n\nAs I have explained previously, there was a prevailing storyline in my mind before this one, and characters had somewhat different roles in them. This one is no exception, though what is different here is the degree of change. In both versions, Kantaria was the weaker nation largely on the defensive early in the war. In the first, it was actually a fully independent and sovereign nation-state and was invaded by Bengaria, and the supreme commander was the brilliant strategist/tactician Shorin. He orchestrated a devastating counteroffensive after a prolonged fighting withdrawal of many hundreds of kilometers, and he was thus the savior of Kantaria and the equivalent of Roketsune for years. While he's still quite a talented officer, I've altered his history in the storyline which became more natural and vivid ultimately, and the focus on him is drastically lower. If I hadn't actually envisioned an encounter with Roketsune, he might not have been given a role at all.\n\nEarly in 2012, the revolution was still in the covert organizational phase, since a militia and central organization had to be sufficiently formed first. Before late February-1 March, there was no active uprising. I honestly don't know right now whether Roketsune approached the militia before or after the active phase started, though I've up to now unofficially seen it as a post-uprising encounter. Anyway, Roketsune just shows up in his typical femboi clothes, someone who's clearly not going to be serving as anything but a rear administrative officer. Perhaps briefly wondering initially whether he wanted to be a sexual entertainer and help with morale that way, Shorin is the senior officer who interviewed him. I don't know what exactly Shorin was doing back then, but, he was a prominent strategist back then. Quickly, Roketsune impresses the officer with his intelligence and articulateness, and he's made an officer immediately doing whatever. Obviously, later on, despite having less experience, he supersedes Shorin.\n\nCurrently, Shorin leads the Aeronautics and Bombardment Command, which means he's the leader of what we would call their Air Force as well as an assortment of artillery and missile launchers. Like the previous incarnation, he's highly talented and competent. He very well understands warfare on both tactical and strategic levels, so he is well suited to lead a large department at least. In the previous incarnation, I imagined his personality and style as that of a moderate and reasonable professional, someone who doesn't object to flamboyant types but would rather just be normal himself and focus primarily on his given tasks and not become involved in cultural or political affairs. So, I suppose that's how I envision him now, a person with a moderate personality and temperament and a superior strategic capability, who will leave the social and political commentary to others while he quietly serves his nation. \n\nSupreme Marshal Taneru Wesitarian theater commander who admires Kantaria and Roketsune\n\nFor whatever reason, I have periodically imagined occasions Roketsune would converse with the enemy. As the war in general is very idealized, neither side is clearly the villain, so Roketsune's counterpart would likely be about as honorable and regretful as he is. These conversations add to character depth and inject drama into the storyline, so it was desirable there be an identifiable and very talented commander on the other side. It also served as a partial explanation for the sudden reversals of Kantaria and the subsequent difficulty for them to resume momentum. That is how Marshal Taneru was born. Her name was inspired by the name of an early battle on Guadalcanal, the gender by a desire to add a female presence in the militaries. Her appearance, I just realized, is based on my EVE Online female character! She and her chief adversary are aware both of them are expert strategists, generating a sad kind of mutual professional admiration. \n\nFor much of the war, there were leadership problems in Wesitaria and Bengaria. The number of exceptional leaders in those nations was pretty low, while Kantaria seemed to by default have great officers running the war effort. They were in that and the industrial aspect akin to the Confederacy in the first have of the Civil War: they had limited industrial might and troop numbers but many wonderful commanders, while the enemy had the reverse. Like the Union, the enemy started producing competent commanders after a great deal of suffering and embarrassment, and these were fast-tracked to top positions as they became known. Bengaria continues to suffer from leadership problems, while Wesitaria has largely rectified that type of deficiency. I don't know whether Taneru was always a Supreme Marshal or if she was a lesser one who rose to prominence, but, she is in terms of tactical and strategic proficiency Roketsune's equal. This was why she was sent to the Eastern Continent to assist and advise Bengaria.\n\nTaneru has demonstrated a superior understanding of Kantarian capabilities and doctrine as well as Roketsune's tendencies. She noticed Kantarian forces would often overextend themselves by attacking and taking/retaking territory often, causing her to adopt a counteroffensive ambush strategy which was extremely effective. She inflicted serious defeats on the Kantarians on two fronts within 6 months, causing both great frustration and admiration from Roketsune. As she had been sent to oversee ultimately over 1m troops on the Eastern Continent and both are rather communicative officers, she and Roketsune have gotten to know each other very well for enemies. They have more than once lamented to each other the necessity of sending their armies against each other in the ultimate quest for total dominance, while unwaveringly pursuing such goals.\n\nTaneru is similar to Roketsune in a few ways besides strategic proficiency. She is comparatively a compassionate and pensive commander. She is outwardly rather feminine, though Roketsune is probably more so. She's highly respected by her staff and the Wesitarians in general. Of course, they are also different. Taneru is more akin to Shorin and Perredine in terms of overall professional demeanor and emotional reactiveness. She also is at least hopeful her side will prevail, while Roketsune is utterly confident she and her side will lose. Her presence in the Takomenian storyline helps 'humanize' the Wesitarians and emphasizes the harm on a societal level total warfare invariably causes. I am sure she and her side will ultimately succumb to the Kantarians unless I am hit with catastrophe IRL, and she will undoubtedly be instrumental in Wesitaria's regeneration and renormalization of relations with Kantaria.","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Lord/Supreme Strategist Roketsune Supreme Commander of the Kantarian war effort and unmitigated flamer femboy

I take great pride in the fact Roketsune is very, very unique. This one is going to be really, really long as a result.

Somewhere in 2013 or 2014, I had decided there needed to be two versions- schoolboi and strategist- of my fursona. Damn, this is complicated.

The two (disregarding the aforementioned one) versions of him are very distinct and separate, but very similar simultaneously. In short, Strategist is primarily business, Schoolboi is pure fun.

So, the ultimate result is, Kantaria has as its Grand Strategist (and often fleet admiral) a total femboi who sounds and acts like a very gay teenager, yet is also extremely intelligent and strategically minded. On his, being quirky and feminine is at worst irrelevant.

At first he just kind of always led the KMO and the thought of when and how he entered it didn't occur.

Roketsune's management style could be categorized as laidback, moderate, trusting, and effective. He thus naturally drives away all those who would be considered very 'professional' and formal and demand it from everyone else, while attracting those who appreciate his unorthodox and peculiar style.

There's a duality about him ideologically and psychologically.

Overall emotionally, he is very reactive and makes no attempt to conceal his mood generally.

That being said, he has an extremely high emotional intelligence as well as basic and strategic intelligence. Though, I am still very neurotic and experience sometimes acute anxiety in response to failure despite my healthy attitude, a flaw he doesn't share.

Also, despite his emotionality and extremely effeminate demeanor, his general strategic/tactical style is very aggressive, which I'm sure surprised some of the officers who saw him ascend and wondered how timid he'd be. His orientation also reflects mine with regards to life in general: It will hurt me more to remain static and reactive, less to be on the offensive as much as is feasible and optimal, while accepting I will make mistakes or need rest.

Speaking of learning and intelligence... Of course, it also allows the Schoolboi variant to pass all his classes with laughable ease despite often skipping class to yiff his equally horny schoolmates.

Speaking of yiffing, I imagine the Strategist version still engages in it quite often, and more often than not with cubs.

Other than all that, I have imagined him either wearing or having conversations about wearing femboi clothes when not on duty and either relaxing or chasing tail.

Supreme Marshal Perredine 2nd in command and confidant of the femboy-in-chief

This is a character who has also undergone changes and visions over a long period of time. As Roketsune is often on the flagship and it's preferred for both the 1st and 2nd to be together, he also doubles as the XO/executive officer of the Procyonidae.

He is a character who was a holdover from a previous different storyline I had envisioned.

Psychologically and managerially, he's very similar to Roketsune, only more masculine and less emotionally volatile. They understand each other's strengths and weaknesses and explicitly trust each other in certain situations.

A great example of Roketsune's trust in Perredine and the latter's indispensability is an incident during the horrific and costly fighting on the Western Front in 2014. Roketsune soon fully recovered and Perredine staunchly defended his superior, while Roketsune unflinchingly admitted what happened and praised his subordinate.

Perredine very effectively serves a few roles. He is an enormously capable commander who will undoubtedly serve Kantaria well throughout the entire war and beyond.

Supreme Marshal Kepler Commander of Kantarian marines, Kantaria's version of Chesty Puller

As with the other characters, this one started accruing details and background slowly over time. He's decidedly quite masculine and can easily man a machine gun or rifle if he needs to, placing him in stark contrast with the flaming femboy officer who oversees him and being the cause of some good-natured teasing from the marine.

I haven't imagined a history before this, but, I'm sure during the rebellion he served as a front-line officer of sorts, later serving as a marine when the ability to attack that way was attained.

Despite the stark differences in personality and stress tolerance, both men get along very well with each other.

Grand Marshal Larien Perpetually busy and overburdened commandant of Marietta

This is one of the lesser known officers of Kantaria, and this one's primary role is humor. However, his background has expanded out of necessity due to his critical role in the Kantarian war effort.

Larien I imagine is an otter somewhere in his late 30's to 40's, somewhat masculine, having one child, and is far more gentle and reasonable than his breathtakingly hostile and silly arguments with Roketsune would suggest. He's blunt and at times merciless, but very dedicated and capable, and reasonable with his subordinates (and usually his superiors).

There was one grand exchange I had in my mind that was inspired by a self-inflicted emotional injury at FWA 2014, and I even now would like to have the image sketched. They are at Marietta at night after the fleet returns. In the background, the Procyonidae is on fire and panicked shipyard personnel are scrambling to deal with it. Larien's absolutely furious with Roketsune after hearing the cause of such severe damage, yelling, "You nuked YOURSELF?! And you expect me to repair this by NEXT MORNING?!". Roketsune is blushing profusely and has a very embarrassed countenance, and meekly says, "Well, heh, yes, I was hoping that was possible...". Larien responds with, "A lot of good it's doing me for my son to be sleeping with you!", though he doesn't actually want or expect favors. In reality the ship wasn't actually still on fire and Roketsune wasn't quite so meek and useless, but the image to me is hilarious and a great representation of the unique nature of their professional relationship.

In another exchange, Larien actually comes aboard the Procyonidae unannounced, even being allowed on the bridge.

Supreme Marshal Shorin Was the savior of Kantaria, now the commander of ABC and 1st one to evaluate a seductively dressed Roketsune

As I have explained previously, there was a prevailing storyline in my mind before this one, and characters had somewhat different roles in them. If I hadn't actually envisioned an encounter with Roketsune, he might not have been given a role at all.

Early in 2012, the revolution was still in the covert organizational phase, since a militia and central organization had to be sufficiently formed first. Obviously, later on, despite having less experience, he supersedes Shorin.

Currently, Shorin leads the Aeronautics and Bombardment Command, which means he's the leader of what we would call their Air Force as well as an assortment of artillery and missile launchers.

Supreme Marshal Taneru Wesitarian theater commander who admires Kantaria and Roketsune

For whatever reason, I have periodically imagined occasions Roketsune would converse with the enemy.

For much of the war, there were leadership problems in Wesitaria and Bengaria. This was why she was sent to the Eastern Continent to assist and advise Bengaria.

Taneru has demonstrated a superior understanding of Kantarian capabilities and doctrine as well as Roketsune's tendencies. They have more than once lamented to each other the necessity of sending their armies against each other in the ultimate quest for total dominance, while unwaveringly pursuing such goals.

Taneru is similar to Roketsune in a few ways besides strategic proficiency. She is comparatively a compassionate and pensive commander. She is outwardly rather feminine, though Roketsune is probably more so. She's highly respected by her staff and the Wesitarians in general. Of course, they are also different. Taneru is more akin to Shorin and Perredine in terms of overall professional demeanor and emotional reactiveness. She also is at least hopeful her side will prevail, while Roketsune is utterly confident she and her side will lose. Her presence in the Takomenian storyline helps 'humanize' the Wesitarians and emphasizes the harm on a societal level total warfare invariably causes. I am sure she and her side will ultimately succumb to the Kantarians unless I am hit with catastrophe IRL, and she will undoubtedly be instrumental in Wesitaria's regeneration and renormalization of relations with Kantaria.","pools_count":1,"title":"People","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"text/rtf","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"f","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"0","views":"51","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
