Arbor Town Casting Call:

*Calista Bane - A white furred slender lop bunny girl with raven black headfur. She has a black patch of fur that looks like an inverted heart centered in the small of her back. 9 years old in this story. She is in the 4th grade.

*Kalvin Bane - Calista's father. A book binder and print-shop owner.

*Oakley Sage - A thirty year old heavy boned clydesdale with rich red-brown body fur, and a black mane, tail, feathers, and headfur. He is a shade-tree mechanic and a classic car hobbyist. His main source of income is from a family trust, but this does not make him rich or particularly well off but is enough when combined with his earnings from his work on rebuilding engines.

*Billy Sabot - A twenty-two year old c-boy sable with luxurious black body fur. He has "doe" brown eyes. He dyes his headfur silver-grey with either blue or violet highlights and cuts it short in a page-boy style. He is naturally nearly flat-chested but had a minor procedure done to reduce even that. He identifies as male, and despite having no plans for further surgeries nor hormones as he is quite comfortable with himself as is. He won't even fuss at you if you misgender him unless you did it deliberately from a place of hate. If you're nice to him, he'll be nice to you, and he assumes you're going to be nice before he even meets you, but you had better not disappoint.
He like's and dates girls mostly but he's not one to turn down the affections of a guy if they are cute enough. He's been a long time friend of Oakley. Especially ever since he gave him a place to stay briefly after coming out to his parents and being kicked out. He went to school to become a hair stylist and cosmetologist. (Cliché I know but not without reason.) He now owns and runs his own business thanks to Oakey! 
His outward personality is a bit kitsch, a bit of an act on his part, but not in a terribly in your face way. It has become something of a defense mechanism for him. If you aren't driven off by his exaggerated personality you're probably pretty safe to be around in his mind. Besides being a bit cliché and kitsch is good for business! Oakley will sometimes admonish him if he takes it too far. "Turn it off, Billy!".

*Aubrey Sells - A ten year old richly brown furred pine martin with black "glove and sock" fur markings and very long blonde headfur down to her waist. She is the mayor's daughter and her uncle is the local county sheriff. She is well known to be the town's junior miss harvest queen and attends several beauty pageants throughout the state. Her mother is already looking into breast implants for her. 
She isn't a very nice girl in reality despite her often well performed nice-girl act she puts on around adults. Her mother keeps her bottled up and she tends to take it out on other less-popular girls. She is in the 4th grade after spending a year "abroad" vacationing with her family in Europe on another pageant tour when she was in the second grade, between that and the pageant circuit in the states she has fallen one grade behind.

*The Rabble - A group of four other girls of various types who hang out with Aubrey. They're secretly jealous of Aubrey but are willing to do anything she says to stay "in" her inner circle. They consist of a fawn (Bellany), a young vixen cub (Rachel), a cream colored ewe (Livey), and a chowchow girl pup (Sissy).

*Catalina Marianov - "Tali" a second generation American "Pallas's cat" whose grandparents came from Russia.

*Kitsu and Kokoko Suikomori - Fraternal Twin foxes, "Kit" and "Koko". Third generation from Japan.

*Basil Leigh - A 30-something honey badger, Elementary School Custodian.
