  "description": "Just some advertizement I'm posting to my FA account now that I have it back. Let the watchers know I'll be mostly updating these other galleries. \nYou guys are amazing and the furry community on a whole has been incredible. But FA is not the place for me anymore. \n\nThere's a handful of reasons why I'm moving on from FA, but I won't go deeply into it. To keep it short, I don't want it to be my only gallery. I don't like their rules, how they define and change those rules. And I'm just not a fan of the overall site design. It did get an update, finally, to the overall look. But the systems itself are still the same. They should add new features (like folders, and multi-submissions, and tag blocking) to really stick with the standards for art galleries. I know that requires money and they might not have enough for such an overhaul. Still, that doesn't mean I shouldn't desire such things.\n\nFA still draws in tones of viewership, meaning I'd be silly not to use it. So, to respect their TOC and not have friction, I'll only submit big things and advertizements. Just so I don't accidently \"step on an eggshell\" as it were. \n\n[b]Don't get me wrong[/b], I'd love to see FA actually improve and prosper.  It helped me starting out as an artist and I'd be heckin ignorant not to acknowledge and be thankful for that. I hold no hate or disdain for the people who do the hard work behind the website (though I do have a bit of critisizm for how long it takes to respond to emails, sometimes months at a time) \n\nBut I want to help other gallery sites compete. I don't want only one centralized place, especially if that place has tones of TOCs for uploads you have to walk on eggshells around.\n\nAnd ultimately, I want to support other sites that are about freedom of Art. \n\n[i]Because, quite simply (soap box time):[/i]\n\nFantasy and Reality are NOT the same thing. If one let's fantasy affect them to the point of crossing the threshold into reality, then that was their decision, not the art and not the fantasy. \n\nWhen you enter fantasy you can do, think, explore, be, ANYTHING. It's a safe space to let the imagination go, no set rules, no set boundries. You leave what you want at the door when you enter (your ethics, who you are, your morals, your history, whatever), and when you leave fantasy you take back only what you so choose. A sane and properly raised person knows that fantasy is an idealized and often unrealistic representation of reality. Their desires and fetishes do NOT reflect how they act and think in real life, They understand this disconnect, that just because you can wank to it in fantasy, doesn't mean it's okay or the same thing in real life. ([i]Like come on, I'm not going to eat people in real life just because I love to draw vore artwork)[/i]. It would be the same logical fallacy to say art causes these undesirable taboos to occur as much as saying videogames cause violence or condition people to be okay with real life violence (I play violent games all the time and quite the opposite, I WAS a violent child and games actually tempered me to passcifism growing up).\n\nBut ya, that's my two-cents. \n\n[b]Fantasy and Reality are NOT the same.
