Introduction


A few hundred light years from planet earth, there is an earth-like planet known as “Polaris”, the inhabitants of this planet are human-like animal beings, able to walk and talk like humans, these anthropomorphic beings make up the majority of the planet’s inhabitants, though there are some normal humans inhabiting the planet also. Both species, though different, live peacefully with each other, it is not uncommon for humans and anthros to crate families.

The inhabitants of the planet also have magical abilities, depending on the species of anthros their magic can be mild to extremely powerful, humans also are able to learn magic, though most of the humans don’t have any magic abilities at all, only humans born into a family with one of the parents being an anthro. People, who’s father or mother is an anthro, either are born as humans, anthro or humans with animal traits, like ears or tails, or both.

Humans and anthros, which have little to no magical abilities are considered “prey”, while the more powerful magic users are considered as “predators”.

A “prey” person can look as intimidating as a large lion, while a “predator” may appear like a scrawny 10-year-old mouse. Predators enjoy seeking out prey to transform into anything, be it statues, clothing, toys, costumes, even food, drinks, vehicles, anything the predator thinks of, the prey will become. Some prey are lucky and their transformation is only temporary, however, there are some predators who have been corrupted by their magic that they permanently transform their prey.

In addition to the normal inhabitants of the planet, there are also beings from other dimensions, hiding among the original inhabitants, disguised as either a anthro or human, or these creatures just stay out of side, hiding in the dense forests or dark always, waiting for the perfect person to pass by, these beings, who’s original bodies are either made of black smoke or look like a shadow, target BOTH prey and predator.

The largest population of predators and prey is in the largest city of the planet known as “Xion”, this city has an airport and large train station, it’s streets are always bustling with anthros and humans either escaping a predator or trying to head to school or work. There is also a large academy where magic users are able to learn their traits, the city also has a large museum of science, history and art, then there is also a permanent carnival, a large zoo, a public pool, an amusement park and it even has a large beach due to the city being located right at the coast, the city itself takes up almost half of the continent which is the size of Australia.
