It’s 11pm on a warm Friday night in the month of July, the teen is grinning from ear to ear, happy that the date went better than he thought, the boy is wearing an elegant black suit, a white button-up shirt and some shiny leather shoes.\n\n‘Man, Amy is such a hottie,’ he thinks to himself, ‘I’m really happy with how the date went! Hehe! It wen so good that she agreed to meet again the next Friday!’\n\nAs Luan walks by a forested area, he suddenly hears a weird sound, the teen stops and listens, the sound sounds like a mobile phone ringing and it seems to come from somewhere in the forest, being curious by nature, Luan decides to investigate, assuming that someone must have lost his or here phone.\n\nLuan ventures deeper and deeper into the forest, following the sound until he steps out into a clearing, there, in the center, he notices a weird pinkish glow. As he steps closer he notices what appears to be a flip phone buried half in the ground.\n\n“Weird,” Luan says, scratching his head, “phones usual don’t emit such a glow,” the boy feels the urge to pick up the weird phone and take a closer look, but for some reason he hesitates, something about the phone doesn’t feel right.\n\nHowever, the longer Luan stares at the ringing phone, the urge to pick it up increases, until the boy shrugs, “what the hell, it’s just a phone,” he says before bending down and picking up the phone, which vibrates gently in his palm, still ringing.\n\nLuan flips the phone open and notices that the phone has two apps one labeled “missions” the other, which has the icon of a receiver, seeming to pulse, ‘probably the mother or father of the girl who lost the phone,’ Luan thinks to himself, his thumb hovering over the icon, hesitating, before pressing down on it and holding it to his ear, “he-hello,” he asks, his voice a little nervous.\n\n“Finally,” an impatient female voice replies, “took you long enough to answer, though… you don’t sound like the girl I was expecting. Who are you?”\n\n“I’m Luan Vixen, I’m a 16-year-old boy,” Luan says, “I heard a weird ringing as I was walking by the forest, I decided to follow it, then I found this phone half buried in a clearing. I thought someone might have lost it, are you the mother of the girl who lost this phone?”\n\nThe woman on the other end of the line lets out a groaning sigh, “this changes everything,” she grumbles.\n\n“What do you mean, miss,” Luan asks.\n\nThere is a long silence, so long that Luan starts to think that the line went dead, “my name is Conny,” the woman finally replies, “I am not the mother of the girl I was expecting, I’m not from your planet, I’m from a planet unknown to you humans”.\n\n“Ooookay,” Luan says.\n\n“Just listen,” Conny says impatiently, “our planet’s population are known as “Magical Girls”, we are females with superhuman powers, we use these powers to protect other planets and dimensions from supernatural forces. However, we can’t travel to every planet in the galaxy, so, from time to time we seek out females, preferably ten to 13 year olds, to become that planet’s protector. It appears that the girl, who was supposed to find the phone has not shown up as calculated”.\n\n“Magical girls?! I… I thought those were just some fantasy,” Luan says, “s-sorry… didn’t mean to be rude,” he quickly adds.\n\nConny chuckles, “some fantasies have a small fraction of truth, Luan,” she says, but then she sighs, “having said all that… we now have a big problem”.\n\n“Which is?”\n\nConny sighs, “you see… since you have found the phone and made contact,” she starts, “this makes YOU the protector of the planet!”\n\nLuan’s eyes widen in horror, “but… but I can’t be a Magical Girl! I’m a 16-year-old boy,” he says.\n\n“That’s easily fixed,” Conny says.\n\nLuan frowns, “what do you mean?”\n\n“Look,” Conny sighs, “I won’t lie to you, so, here is what’s gonna happen: the phone you have found is now linked to your soul, meaning, it will always be with you, if you try to throw it away, bury it or what have you, it will always return to you”.\n\n“I don’t like the sound of that,” Luan grumbles.\n\n“Then you won’t like what II have to say next,” Conny says, her tone serious, “whenever there is danger nearby, the phone will alert you and will ask you to transform”.\n\n“And if I ignore and refuse it?”\n\n“It will simply transform you itself, you will not revert back to normal unless you completed the current task, fight or mission,” Conny simply states.\n\n“Great… just great,” Luan grumbles.\n\nConny sighs, “look, I don’t like this more than you do,” she says, “but we are in this situation and there is no backing out. At least you won’t be stuck as a girl permanently!”\n\n“Yeah… lucky me,” Luan grumbles, he then lets out a sigh, “well… since I have no other choice, I guess I’ll accept”.\n\n“Good, then let’s see how you’ll look,” Conny says, “press on the app that is labeled with “missions” and select a mission or task, the phone will do the rest”.\n\n“And once I’m transformed I simply have to complete every mission before able to transform back?”\n\n“No, you only need to complete one mission or task you select or that is given to you,” Conny says.\n\n“So, I only transform when I accept a mission or task?”\n\n“Correct, however, if you don’t select a mission or task in a period of time, the phone will do it for you and you’ll be forcibly transformed and will have to complete the task to prevent from being stuck as a girl”.\n\n“Oh boy,” Luan grumbles, “better do it willingly then”.\n\n“Yup,” Conny says.\n\n“One more question,” Luan says, “will I have to transform immediately, or can I transform when I reach the mission’s or task’s location? I mean… I don’t want anyone witnessing me transform into a girl”.\n\n“Sure, you just find a quiet and private area, like an alleyway, where you can transform without being noticed”.\n\n“Alright, I guess here goes nothing,” Luan says, “to be honest… I am a little curious what I’ll look like as a girl. I just hope the outfit will not be to… sexy”.\n\n“I guess we shall see,” Conny says, “now, choose a mission and transform!
