  "writing": "[center][b][u]Cody Discovers The Device[/u][/b][/center]\n\nEarly the next morning, while everyone else is still asleep, Cody, Dr. Thomas’s 12-year-old son, heads downstairs to make himself a bowel of cereal before heading into the basement to watch a cartoon.\n\nWhen the 12-year-old is about to enter the basement living room, he notices the door to his father’s lab is slightly open, being a curious boy and never been inside his dad’s lab, Cody decides to take a peek.\n\nCody, like his father has short black hair, brown eyes, a light brown skin color and a slim almost feminine figure, causing him to get bullied at school, some even call him “boy-girl”, however, Cody learned to ignore them.\n\nWhen Cody steps into his father’s lab, he notices a weird device lying on the table, the boy picks it up and pushes on a random button, letting out a surprised “eep” when the screen of the device come to life.\n\nThe 12-year-old tilts his head, starring at the screen, “looks like some kind of editor,” he mumbles before noticing a tab labeled “manual”, and decides to read it.\n\nCody’s eyes widen and his face takes on a confused expression as he reads the manual, “dad invented some device that is able to alter the reality and anyone or anything it scans,” he asks himself, “sounds like something from a sci-fi movie, this can’t possibly work… but… what if it does?”\n\nThe 12-year-old stares at the device in his hand, “maybe a small test won’t hurt, besides, I’m curious,” Cody mumbles, looking around the room, his eyes landing on his dad’s calculator. Cody activates the scanner and his eyes widen when a message appears shortly after that says “scan successful”.\n\nCody then opens the “transformation options” list and scrolls through the options before deciding to try and transform the calculator into a fly. With wide eyes the boy watches the calculator seeming to morph, soon a fly is sitting on the desk before flying away.\n\nThe 12-year-old stares with open mouth and wide eyes before his surprise and shock get replaced by excitement, “cool! It actually works,” Cody exclaims, “what should I try next?”",
