"description": "Decided to practice drawing my two cephalopod characters! Calliope the octopus and Winnie the (inflatable) cuttlefish! The way I do cephalopods is that I use the mantle as a (not pictured here) tail, more similar to a bird's fan or a kitsune's tail bouquet. They end up looking almost like avian'amphibian hybrids as a result.\n\nAbout Calliope:\nShe is an inner city girl, making her first appearance in my gallery in the Sleepover story. Being a side character in my main story, I hadn't thought to develop her much before now.\n\nAbout Winnie:\nWinnie is a pooltoy that is brought to life by Wendy's imagination.
