I got the inspiration for this long, long ago, when I ran a campaign for my Jereissati friends. I was reading a Superinteressante (scientific journal) which had a picture of a cow made of worms. From it's neck, two pig heads would protude, as well as two chicken heads from it's forelegs. The image, of course, was digital art. The picture went with an article on how raising animals to eat them afterwards increases the chances of several diseases and how the habit of having pets is also unhealthy, despite being ingrained in human society.\n\nReturning to the subject, I decided to make an enemy out of that picture that I saw, for use in my RPG campaign (GURPS Lite 4th Edition). I made it with so many points that I can't really remember if I used 450, 500 or an arbitrary amount. Fact is, this cow was a recurrent enemy which my players would flee from, rather than fighting, because it was just far too powerful. Fighting it would be next to useless. She would appear in very special occasions, once per adventure, if some conditions were met. She added a great tone of horror to the game, not only because she could kill you in few turns in a brutal manner, but also because of her ability to form and reform by reassembling itself.
