"description": "I was digging through my folders earlier today and found some pictures I made back in 2016 using [url=https://inkbunny.net/s/1047388]Oob's Character Maker[/url]. Figured I might as well post them here.\n\nPictures are posted in the order of their creation, so you can see how I changed some things about the characters' appearances over time. To be honest, I've never had a hard-defined look for any of them. Mainly I can only see the major details like fur color in my mind, but I've been trying to nail things down for the character sheets I've been posting.\n\nPossibly the biggest change I made before I started publishing my stories was removing Nick's second tail. The story surrounding why he has two tails while the rest of his family only has one would involve referencing an old fanfic I wrote in my head about 15 years ago. My current stories are essentially a spinoff of that fanfic, where Nick's dad was my totally-original self-insert recolor OC Donut Steel running around with a bunch of copyrighted characters to save the world/galaxy. Once I started focusing on the slice-of-life stories surrounding his kids, I tried to retcon the fanfic out of them, but there were still a few details I never got around to addressing.\n\nWhen I finally started posting my stories here, I felt like I had to take the plunge to retcon the rest of it. I think I got everything removed, but now there are a few points I need to eventually address now that the original explanation for them is gone.
