"Did you hear?  Debbie's Daddy hanged her."

Suzy almost missed a step, in surprise.  "No!  Really?"

"Uh huh," said Patty with a nod.  "Remember t' other day she said she thought she was having her first monthly bleed?  Well, she must have, 'cause her daddy hanged her up in that big tree in their back yard.  Her brother was watching from his bedroom window, and he told my brother."

It was a special day for the two kittens.  Once a week, Suzy's big brother and big sister both had after school activities. The kittens made a brief stop in the store room behind the kitchen to pick up a coil of rope.  Then they went outside.  The only tree on the property large enough for what they intended was in the front by the street.  Fortune favored them, and nobody passed by as the naked kittens scrambled up the tree. Patty grinned as she played out the coil of rope.  While Suzy stared, wide eyed, Patty tied one end of the rope around her neck with a simple slip knot.  She pulled up the other end of the rope, and tossed it over the other branch; then pulled it up again, and tossed it over the branch again.  Finally, she put a turn on a bight to hold it.  A long piece of rope still dangled from the knot.  

Suzy stared at her friend.  "Wow!"

Patty laughed.  "Still excited?"  Her hand dropped between her legs, and she began to finger her slit.
