Rather than regular pecs and abs, Adrian’s chest begins with his pecs, and then 2 additional pairs of muscles beneath them. A full-sized set of defined pecs, a mid-sized pair beneath them, and finally a small-sized pair at the bottom. 3 beefy pairs of bricks descending downward. \nHis attire consists predominantly of a pair of black sweatpants fit tightly over his legs.\n\nFor his persona, Adrian is a naturally kind and helpful individual. Somewhat bashful, he tries to be kind and polite towards all he meets, and enjoys helping others. He is also very curious and inquisitive, with a tendency to ask plenty of questions about the world around him. When it comes to people, he tries his best to keep an open mind in meeting new faces. As he grows more comfortable around someone, his questions towards them become more frequent, to the point of being annoying at times. Adrian’s also energetic, ready to take on new things with new friends.\n\nHowever, Adrian’s also an impulsive individual. Energetic and always eager to learn, he quickly leaps into new adventures, often without much prior thinking or preparation. Also, while he prefers to be polite, Adrian can quickly become snarky and snappy, something he absorbed from his friends. Adrian’s snark intensifies when his inferences and suspicions are confirmed. Additionally, Adrian can become protective of those he grows close with, and while he is difficult to provoke, when he gets pissed, he can be quite harsh. He’s also heavily driven to improve and keep his strength, not just out of his desire to improve, but also out of a fear of losing that strength.\nSaid fear began, as most things do, as a result of his childhood. Adrian was born in the Central District of Scaltus City. As a child, when Adrian was born, his body was profoundly weak and feeble. His limbs were, in his own words, like “fleshy twigs”, limp, thin, and frail. For the first half of his life, Adrian had to live in the hospital. His daily life mostly revolved around physical therapy, working with doctors to try to mend his damaged body as much as possible. Adrian was mainly confined to his bed, needing a wheelchair or the aid of others to walk around. Therefore, his knowledge and insights of the world, as he was unable to see much of it himself, came from books, TV, movies, and from the accounts of other people.\n\nBy the age of 9, Adrian’s body had recovered enough that he was able to start going outside, getting to use his own feet and his own eyes to explore. Living in Scaltus City, in a metropolis where the majority have beefy bodies and strong musks, his first adventures outside were quite…overpowering. Case in point, his very first one, walking into a nature park, conveniently around a ton of sweaty reptiles hard at work training together. Seeing the light reflecting off of their bodies, hearing their growls and roars, and smelling all of their combined musks. For the young Adrian, unused to such an environment, sensory overload and anxiety overwhelmed him, and he fell unconscious.\n\nFortunately, he was found by a certain individual: a male dragon, with a black front surrounded by blue, and 3 years older than Adrian. This was Damian, who helped Adrian to safety. Grateful to him for his help, Adrian got to talking with him, his first conversation with someone from the outside. Damian became Adrian’s first friend from outside the hospital, having been convinced by the young dino to visit him and stick around. Through Damian, Adrian learned much about the bodybuilding culture of the city, which slowly made Adrian very interested in wanting to gain a stronger body. By the time Adrian became 11, he had finally grown strong enough to leave the hospital and live in a regular home with his own family.\n\nAdditionally, Adrian began exercising for the first time. With Damian acting as a mentor for him, albeit thanks to a lot of prodding from Adrian, the young reptile started to bulk up and really began enjoying the world around him. Much of his time was spent between the library, his exercises, and just getting to walk around and see the city. Damian acted as Adrian’s guide during these days, teaching him to be wary, observant of his surroundings and the people around him. At the same time, Damian began causing seeds of snark to grow in Adrian. From time to time, Adrian would show off about the things he read about to his new friend. As he slowly grew more confident, he’d become snappier with Damian, knowing he often spent more time in books than Damian. The older dragon, while it annoyed him from time to time, accepted Adrian’s growth, the two becoming the best of friends.\n\nOne day, when Adrian was 15, he and Damian got caught by another little Rex. One smaller than Adrian, colored purple and bearing yellow streaks on his body. This was Evan, who being 4 years older than the black Rex, invited Adrian and Damian to sign up and train at the gym he works at, the “Rippling Scales” Gym. At “Rippling Scales”, Adrian got to befriend the gym’s owner, an older pterodactyl named Simon, who became another mentor to him. There, Adrian got to really bulk up, his chest’s unique form becoming defined during this time. \n\nIn befriending Evan, as Adrian’s muscles expanded further, the black Rex learned from his fellow Rex to incorporate relaxation more into his routine. By this point, Adrian, seeing his body becoming stronger than ever, had begun to become over-enthused with his strength, pouring more and more time into his workouts. Evan helped him to begin balancing his focus on strength with his focus on fun. Part of this was Adrian’s first real dive into his fears, as Evan himself picked up on how fear factored into his new friend’s growing. To help Adrian to realize his fears, Evan related to his new friend about his own, about how he was bullied growing up and often alone, and how that made him afraid to be alone.\n\nAdrian, in turn came to understand and admits his own fears, namely, how he was afraid of losing his new healthy body. Something he saw in his nightmares from time to time. In befriending Evan, Adrian also came to understand what it felt like to want to protect another, like Damian did for Adrian. While Evan could be annoying with his ego, smugness, and perverted attitude, Adrian empathized with him, and found a very loyal friend in him as well. In addition, Adrian also began to learn about his sexuality and being attracted to others, in large part due to Evan, who was naturally lewd.\n\nThese explorations were intensified by, when he became 19, getting to meet Evan’s lover - an older velociraptor named Dustin. Dustin proved to be a particularly challenging experience for Adrian, thanks to how, well, he often didn’t speak and communicate like a regular person. At the same time, thanks to how quickly he was growing, even having his first time having sex with Damian after turning 20. Adrian briefly became haughty as a result, thinking he was a bit entitled to Dustin’s respect and focus. Both Dustin, as well as Damian, who Dustin was actually close to, disagreed, and Dustin delivered a very valuable lesson to him.\n\nTaking it to heart, Adrian’s persona began to assume the set that it holds today - humble, but also effective and ready to aid and/or defend his friends. To this end, he began to set himself up as more independent, to take care of himself. To that end, he, like Evan, took a job in the “Rippling Scales” gym. Its owner, Simon, also became a close friend to him, having been the first to question Adrian about his intentions now that he’s an adult, to consider goals and dreams for himself. Fast-forward to the present, Adrian lives as an unofficial bodybuilder, taking just as much care of his physique as ever while he continues to push himself. His major goal, at the moment, is to work as a personal trainer, to help others grow strong, lively, and happy like his own friends had done for him. For the series proper, he’s going to get his first chance in doing so with a young dragon his age, named Honey.\n\nAs to his quirks and pursuits, since he had to spend much of his life relying on literature to enlighten him about the world, Adrian grew to have a love of books, a love that endures to this day.
