Because of someone named "bolt boy" on SoFurry commenting on some of my old pictures, I looked at that old one and just decided to try and remake it. From what was to be a remake ended up being an entirely new picture, as you can see.
I liked how it came out. As usual, the usual issues here and there but still overall good I say. I did my own background, which are a pain and really not my thing to work with. I messed around with gradients which I never have before, mostly because I don't understand how to fully use them, still don't, but at least got a little grasp at it. I just always hated my backgrounds seeming too flat and solid color and gradients makes it look better without me having to force myself to make shadows or other un-needed and beyond my skill level with details.
I also tried making the colors more soft and natural. Normally you'd see a bright orange and bright yellow and orange that I use and it somewhat seems like MS Paint when I do that I think. I am still not all that with colors and dunno how others create a more natural, softer and duller yellow. I suppose making it a bit toward black or white and all but eh I dunno, I tried. I just have to make my colors less bright and more natural by making them lighter than what they are? To why the red shirt almost seems pink and such? I dunno. Still I like the colors, I still have to learn what I can do with colors.
Normally I think in this world I create that they all walk around bottomless and all, which was the original idea, the undies still left on around the ankles were an afterthought which I originally had planned but forgot till last minute while still doing the sketch.
Just I feel bottomless is hot, partial clothing like that, and socks still on and undies still around the ankles somehow makes it even more hot. I know it might not make much sense to the story I just wrote out right before submitting but still... it is hard to explain. Just adding that last touch with the undies still on, yet off them, added to the hotness. No, I still don't get turned on by my own work though so... aww... almost makes you wonder why I even put the things I like in such a picture, eh?
