As per her usual professional manner, they arrived a few minutes early, and Karmin smiled as the large white tigress approached her.\n\n\t“Ready then, Schnee?” Karmin remarked simply to the buff feline, getting a nod in reply.\n\n\t“I do not quite understand just why you asked to do this?” Schnee inquired as they walked along, and Karmin briefly explained her reasons for their little outing.\n\n\t“I'm allowed off company property, as an AI it would be considered rather inhumane to keep me locked up in a tower, so to speak, but really it boils down to wanting a day out and someone to spend that day with.” Karmin answered, her logical side clashing a bit with the real reason she'd asked to do this. Thinking nothing much more of the odd answer, Schnee simply let the matter drop for now as she realised she had no idea where they were going, having been following slightly behind Karmin until now. It was only when Karmin stopped abruptly that Schnee saw where they were, the local shopping mall which made the tigress raise a curious eyebrow.\n\n\t“I mean no offense, but I never thought this would be a place you'd visit?” Schnee said, referring to Karmin's fairly business-like attitude on almost any matter.\n\n\t“Well it seemed like the sort of place you would visit, and there's plenty to do inside isn't there?” Karmin said in more of a curious tone, hinting she really never had been inside a mall before. As they headed inside, Schnee was surprised when she felt Karmin's hand slip into hers and grip snugly, almost as though Karmin felt uncomfortable at the huge crowd. That and her tense demeanor only suggested that further. This was definitely new, Schnee had never seen Karmin act anything like this, not quite so... robotic, put bluntly. It was obvious Karmin's reaction was for real however, and Schnee quickly led them to a nearby store where there weren't as many people inside. It wasn't until they entered that Schnee saw it was a lingerie store, causing her to blush at noticing just how they must have looked, with Karmin's meek behavior while holding Schnee's hand, walking into a place like this.\n\n\t“(Well, it is my day off, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to do something nice to help her feel at ease...)” Schnee thought as she glanced back down at Karmin who appeared to finally be calming down a bit now that they were out of the crowd.\n\n\t“I'm aware your clothes are... digital somehow, yes?” Schnee asked, getting a nod from Karmin who quickly gathered where this was going.\n\n\t“If it's alright, perhaps I could uhm... buy you a set of something more 'conventional'?” Schnee offered, raising a curious eyebrow as her impression of Karmin changed even more when she saw the android feline undeniably blush at the notion of Schnee buying a set of garments for her. \n\n\t“I'd... I'd like that...” Karmin said bashfully, averting her gaze from Schnee's as she answered, hiding her face and thus her expression, but her tone and everything else was tipping Schnee off more and more as to what might be going on. Going out on a limb Schnee offered one more thing to test the waters so to speak.\n\n\t“Perhaps a nice lunch for the both of us would be good, yes?” Schnee asked only to hear Karmin suppress an obvious squeal of joy just before responding.\n\n\t“Y-... *ahem* Yes that would be nice...” Karmin answered, sounding like a giddy schoolgirl even with her failed attempts to cover it up. Schnee still wasn't quite sure if this whole event was what she thought it might be, so she looked around at various items and checked to gauge the reaction to each, seeing just what may end up being the perfect choice. Schnee began with looking at a set of something simple, a nightshirt and pajama bottom combo in equally simple colors of clean white and light gray respectively. Karmin didn't appear to be exactly 'excited' about them, leading the tigress to ramp up her selections from there, and she made her way over to where a bit more enticing attire awaited.\n\n\tThis time she noticed a cute midriff shirt and bikini panty set, the former in a beautiful sky blue with white hems, while the latter was a sleek black and quite snug-fitting. Karmin's face lit up at the sight of it despite the size being more for someone more of Schnee's build, when it clicked as to why she seemed so intrigued. With a smile the feline kept the items in hand for purchase before they left, and she heard a suppressed squeal of glee once more from Karmin. It was then Schnee decided to see just how far she could take things, now looking for something nice for her friend to wear this time.\n\n\tLooking around for a bit more they strolled through the store when Schnee found the perfect set of lingerie, something elegant and simple, and that matched Karmin's coloration as well; a bra and panty set colored black with a deep crimson lace pattern through the material and the straps on the former, while the latter was a vaguely see-through black with the same type of crimson lace on the waistband. As she picked it up to look it over Schnee looked back for an approval on the choice, and the ecstatic, blissful look on Karmin's face was all the answer needed. Once the purchases were made they headed out of the mall to a smaller venue, a restaurant for them to enjoy a nice meal together without any added stress of the crowd from before. Once they arrived to a quiet, cozy diner the two kittens finally were able to talk, and Karmin could reveal at last the real reason she'd asked for a day with her fellow feline.\n\n\t“I don't mean to sound assuming, but I feel as if this is no ordinary outing, am I correct Karmin?” Schnee asked as they waited to be served, and Karmin fidgeted slightly in her seat.\n\n\t“C-Can I be honest with you Schnee?” Karmin asked cautiously, and with a smile the tigress gestured for her to continue.\n\n\t“I suppose it's obvious by now, I asked you out on a date because... because I like you...” Karmin said tensely, her answer throwing Schnee for a bit of a loop. Despite all that had happened up until now she hadn't quite come to that conclusion, the date in disguise was a given but Karmin expressing her affections to...\n\n\t“I don't normally show much emotion, my job doesn't require such a thing but I am capable of them, just as much as anyone else in fact...” Karmin said as she steeled herself for what she was about to admit.\n\n\t“When you first came to work for the company I couldn't help but notice you, the way you acted was never intimidating regardless of how many people felt that way, I suppose you could say your stature is something I actually like as well... that much more to, uhm... cuddle...?” Karmin said the last word as though expecting some kind of backlash, her hands nervously toying with a napkin on the table as she spoke the truth at last. Schnee was simply trying to process all she was hearing, but was able to get over the initial shock, and she placed her hand warmly on Karmin's. As she saw that, Karmin blushed deeply before she seemed to settle down, her body language changing to being totally at ease as the tigress' hand closed snugly around Karmin's.\n\n\t“I'm sorry I didn't just tell you outright, I didn't know how you'd react or-?” Karmin began when Schnee leaned forward to place a finger gently to her lips.\n\n\t“Karmin, it's fine, I just did not expect...” Schnee started to say, not wanting to offend Karmin by saying she never knew Karmin had any emotions, but it was never quite clear to anyone if Karmin did or not to be fair.\n\n\t“I know what you're trying to say, I told you I don't normally display them that much, only when warranted... or for the right people, you could say...” Karmin said with a bashful grin at Schnee, only driving home further the fact that the former's behavior truly wasn't just some program. If that were true though, then how far would Karmin take those feelings? Before either of them could debate that any further the waiter arrived to take their orders, cutting the conversation short until they'd finished. During their meal though Karmin got a bit bold, trying to see how Schnee might take a bit of innocent teasing; with her tail under the table, it was the perfect opportunity to gently rub the tip over Schnee's leg, the action coming across as casually as possible.
