Kitsu and I were now full fledged soul reapers because we had both slain a hollow, the only difference between us is Kitsu has yet to completely master his Bankai. In the 13 court guard squads I am now a vice captain to Sajin Komamura because nearly three days earlier, Tousen turned his back on the soul society and sided with the arancar. Tousen's betrayal took a heavy toll on the captain and I can't blame him because of the fact that Tousen and him were very close friends, I would be a wreck for a small while if my best friend stabbed me in the back. I stood from my seated position and started to walk away from the receiving portal, and back to the soul society. The receiving portal was part of the soul society, but it was separated from the main facility. The village separating it is where all of the saved hollow souls are transported, when a hollow is slain they are not completely killed, their bodies are destroyed but their souls are transported here for them to live out the rest of eternity in peace and protection. The village was peaceful and I loved being able to explore it because of the fact that we soul reapers are viewed as heroes here, and I am consistently shown this by the people of the village. The main reason that I love this small village is a small pup by the name of Saji, he was not one of my pups but he was killed along with his family in an explosion of natural gas and his brother died a couple years before him but both Saji and his brother were transformed into hollows after death and his mother and father were transported to heaven because they had proven their faith with the birth of children. Saji is at the moment seven earth years old, and he appears as such. Tiny patches of pink skin that has yet to be covered by fur and a tail about the length of my fore arm along with a disposition that makes the world seem bright and shiny to him, that is what I like most about him. Saji and his brother were both hollows that i had defeated that is the only reason that they are both here. A child's soul is the weakest thing so hollows go after them more often, I was the one to save Saji and Ribi. Saji looks to me as a mentor because of this, but Ribi sees me as a parent and just as any other child he doesn't like parents.\n\n\"Hey rag.\" I heard in a slightly high pitched voice from above me, I looked up to see Saji laying down on his stomach atop a wooden awning and facing me with tiny pools of jade green water. It is quite strange for a pup to have green eyes but it completes the picture when looking at Saji, I stopped in my tracks and just looked at Saji for a second.\n\nWhat's the matter, cat got your tongue?\" Saji asked sweetly.\n\n\"No, I am just wondering how you climb up there every time I walk by without me noticing. Why do you call me rag?\" I said to Saji before he jumped down and landed beside me, Saji is surprisingly acrobatic for his age. \n\n\"I call you rag because I think it is cute how you react whenever you hear me say it. Your right ear always flicks and the tip of your tail twitches.\" He said as we both started to walk in the same direction towards the soul society. Come to the squad quarters as soon as you are able. -Sajin Komamura\". I folded the note and slipped it into one of the pockets on the inside of my vestans bowed to the courier who then bowed in return before continuing on with his deliveries, I picked up the pace with my walk to the soul society and with in minutes I was walking to where the squad 7 quarters were in view. The first thing I saw when I stepped inside the squad 7 gates was Kitsu standing in front of a training dummy, holding his zanpacto with small bolts coming off of his cheeks. I walked into the building and into Sajin's room to see him sitting at his desk with a pen in his hand, when he looked up and saw me he motioned for me to sit down in the chair opposite to him and I did.\n\n\"Ragnar, I have wonderful news.\" Sajin said happily after setting his pen down on the desk and slipping the paper he was writing on into a drawer, my tail started to wag from side to side and I tried to control it but to little or no avail.\n\n\"Your mate with be passing through the receiving portal tomorrow, you can finally see her again.\" Komamura said happily as a smile stretched across his face, he was just as happy as I was. I stood from the chair that I was sitting and bowed to Sajin before exiting the quarters, as soon as I was outside I jumped in the air and stayed afloat for a short amount of time and when I landed Kitsu was standing next to me with a smirk on his face. \n\n\"What was that about, Rag?\" Kitsu said to me as he set the blunt side of his sword on his shoulder, there was a ting of sweat to his fur and his cheeks were no longer the red color that they should be...they were pink, which meant that he was tired.\n\n\"My mate will be passing through the receiving portal tomorrow, I will finally see her again.\" I said to Kitsu with my tail waging crazily behind me, Kitsu has noticed this because his smirk quickly changed to a smile. Moments later I was embraced in a hug by Kitsu, Kitsu rested his head on my shoulder and I hugged him back.\n\n\"I am so happy for you Vice-captain Ragnar Arcano, you can finally be happy.\" Kitsu said to me before he slid his sword into his scabbard and bowed to me. Kitsu turned and walked into the headquarters and shut the door behind him, I turned and started to walk towards my personal quarters and after walking for a couple minutes I arrived to a tall white building with a red roof, my home. I walked in the building and inside and admired that this was truly mine because of the fact that I had had it designed to be like my home, as soon as I walked in I smelled the scent of a grassy field and subconsciously I felt a slight breeze because it was like I was home again. I let out a sign of happiness as I saw myself in my feral version playing with my boy pups Sajak and Dahvie while my mate collects flowers with my daughter Saha. The vision faded away slowly as reality returned to me, I was back in the soul society and my family was gone from me. I walked back into my bedroom and stripes naked before lying down on my bed, moments later I was asleep. I had dreams that I was back with my family, playing and frolicking in the fields of the Johto region. \n\n~The next day~\n\nI was awaken from my dreams by a subtle tapping on the door of my bedroom, when I sat up the tapping subsided and the door slid open to show Captain Komamura standing there dressed in a jet black Gi with white accents near the mid section of his arms. Captain Komamura walked in and sat down on my bed.\n\n\"How are you feeling?\" Komamura said, showing that despite his rough exterior there was a loving side to him.\n\n\"I feel good, I am just thinking of what I will say to my mate when I see her again. I just don't know what to say.\" I said to captain Komamura before standing from my bed and displaying all of my naked glory to him, as soon as I turned to dress into my robes a feint scent filled the room, the scent of arousal. I brushed it off as nothing because after I looked down and saw that the tip of my pride was stocking slightly out of my white furred sheath. I dressed in my robes and turned back to see Captain Komamura still sitting in the same position as he was when I first stood up, I sat down on my bed beside him.\n\n\"Here is what I did when my mate came through the portal, I didn't think of what to say. I just simply let my heart do the talking for me, and in the end before I sent her to heaven nothing was left unsaid and she passed on knowing that I meant every word of it. To this day I do my duty of protecting the living ones while knowing that I will be with her in paradise, sometime in the future. Because if a soul reaper dies while they are doing what they are meant to do, they are sent to heaven to spend with their loved ones forever in a kingdom of their own design.\" Captain Komamura said before wiping a small tear from his eye and sniffling slightly, I may have been by his side in the time since my arrival to the soul society, but I am still learning things about him. Captain Komamura stood up for the bed and walked over to the door of the bedroom and stood there, I stood from the bed and he motioned for me to follow him and I did out through the door and out on the house. The walk to the portal was long, but it was calm mainly because of the fact that a large amount of the occupants were either asleep or away on assignments. The early morning sun was just raising over the horizon causing that auburn color to flow across the sky, the color that the sky was is slightly closer to my fur color but not exact. Captain Komamura walked beside me in complete silence, he must have known that I was racking my mind about seeing my mate again after so long. Before long after exiting the soul society and crossing the village, the portal came into view and moments after it came into view there was a loud pop and a ray of light shot up from the portal. Komamura and I picked up pace and eventually entered the surrounding area of the portal, where aside from a collection of souls that had already arrived were waiting to be sent there was a group of soul reapers standing around to keep the souls in line. I walked through the group and out of the corner of my eye I saw a glint of orange and black fur, it was my mate standing on two feet in the nude her left arm was covering her bosom while her other hand was covering her crotch. I grabbed a blanket that was sitting on a rack and walked over to her, before draping the blanket over her body. There was a slight growl from her.\n\n\"You don't need to be scared Resha, you are safe with me here.\" I said to my mate as there was a gasp from her before she spin around and hugged me, she continually held and before long I felt a small wet spot on my arm.\n\n\"Ragnar, I knew I would see you again. My love after so long I am finally able to hold you again, I was so scarred when you disappeared.\" Resha said as she squeezed me tighter making my back pop in the process, I held Resha before picking her up and kissing her on her lips. I noticed that her body was starting to vanish which meant that her time here was short.\n\n\"Resha, before you move onto the true heaven. I want you to know that for the time that I was here, I missed you everyday I prayed that you would be safe and that our children would be prosperous. "Ragnar, I have wonderful news." Sajin said happily after setting his pen down on the desk and slipping the paper he was writing on into a drawer, my tail started to wag from side to side and I tried to control it but to little or no avail.

"Your mate with be passing through the receiving portal tomorrow, you can finally see her again." Komamura said happily as a smile stretched across his face, he was just as happy as I was. I stood from the chair that I was sitting and bowed to Sajin before exiting the quarters, as soon as I was outside I jumped in the air and stayed afloat for a short amount of time and when I landed Kitsu was standing next to me with a smirk on his face.

"What was that about, Rag?" Kitsu said to me as he set the blunt side of his sword on his shoulder, there was a ting of sweat to his fur and his cheeks were no longer the red color that they should be...they were pink, which meant that he was tired.

"My mate will be passing through the receiving portal tomorrow, I will finally see her again." I said to Kitsu with my tail waging crazily behind me, Kitsu has noticed this because his smirk quickly changed to a smile. Moments later I was embraced in a hug by Kitsu, Kitsu rested his head on my shoulder and I hugged him back.

"I am so happy for you Vice-captain Ragnar Arcano, you can finally be happy." Kitsu said to me before he slid his sword into his scabbard and bowed to me. Kitsu turned and walked into the headquarters and shut the door behind him, I turned and started to walk towards my personal quarters and after walking for a couple minutes I arrived to a tall white building with a red roof, my home. I walked in the building and inside and admired that this was truly mine because of the fact that I had had it designed to be like my home, as soon as I walked in I smelled the scent of a grassy field and subconsciously I felt a slight breeze because it was like I was home again. I let out a sign of happiness as I saw myself in my feral version playing with my boy pups Sajak and Dahvie while my mate collects flowers with my daughter Saha. The vision faded away slowly as reality returned to me, I was back in the soul society and my family was gone from me. I walked back into my bedroom and stripes naked before lying down on my bed, moments later I was asleep. I had dreams that I was back with my family, playing and frolicking in the fields of the Johto region.

~The next day~

I was awaken from my dreams by a subtle tapping on the door of my bedroom, when I sat up the tapping subsided and the door slid open to show Captain Komamura standing there dressed in a jet black Gi with white accents near the mid section of his arms. Captain Komamura walked in and sat down on my bed.

"How are you feeling?" Komamura said, showing that despite his rough exterior there was a loving side to him.

"I feel good, I am just thinking of what I will say to my mate when I see her again. I just don't know what to say." I said to captain Komamura before standing from my bed and displaying all of my naked glory to him, as soon as I turned to dress into my robes a feint scent filled the room, the scent of arousal. I brushed it off as nothing because after I looked down and saw that the tip of my pride was stocking slightly out of my white furred sheath. I dressed in my robes and turned back to see Captain Komamura still sitting in the same position as he was when I first stood up, I sat down on my bed beside him.

"Here is what I did when my mate came through the portal, I didn't think of what to say. I just simply let my heart do the talking for me, and in the end before I sent her to heaven nothing was left unsaid and she passed on knowing that I meant every word of it. To this day I do my duty of protecting the living ones while knowing that I will be with her in paradise, sometime in the future. Because if a soul reaper dies while they are doing what they are meant to do, they are sent to heaven to spend with their loved ones forever in a kingdom of their own design." Captain Komamura said before wiping a small tear from his eye and sniffling slightly, I may have been by his side in the time since my arrival to the soul society, but I am still learning things about him. Captain Komamura stood up for the bed and walked over to the door of the bedroom and stood there, I stood from the bed and he motioned for me to follow him and I did out through the door and out on the house. The walk to the portal was long, but it was calm mainly because of the fact that a large amount of the occupants were either asleep or away on assignments. The early morning sun was just raising over the horizon causing that auburn color to flow across the sky, the color that the sky was is slightly closer to my fur color but not exact. Captain Komamura walked beside me in complete silence, he must have known that I was racking my mind about seeing my mate again after so long. Before long after exiting the soul society and crossing the village, the portal came into view and moments after it came into view there was a loud pop and a ray of light shot up from the portal. Komamura and I picked up pace and eventually entered the surrounding area of the portal, where aside from a collection of souls that had already arrived were waiting to be sent there was a group of soul reapers standing around to keep the souls in line. I walked through the group and out of the corner of my eye I saw a glint of orange and black fur, it was my mate standing on two feet in the nude her left arm was covering her bosom  while her other hand was covering her crotch. I grabbed a blanket that was sitting on a rack and walked over to her, before draping the blanket over her body. There was a slight growl from her.

"You don't need to be scared Resha, you are safe with me here." I said to my mate as there was a gasp from her before she spin around and hugged me, she continually held and before long I felt a small wet spot on my arm.

"Ragnar, I knew I would see you again. My love after so long I am finally able to hold you again, I was so scarred when you disappeared." Resha said as she squeezed me tighter making my back pop in the process, I held Resha before picking her up and kissing her on her lips. I noticed that her body was starting to vanish which meant that her time here was short.

"Resha, before you move onto the true heaven. I want you to know that for the time that I was here, I missed you everyday I prayed that you would be safe and that our children would be prosperous. In the time that I was here, you are the only person that was on my mind and I everyday I looked forward to you someday appearing here." I said to Resha as her body continually before more and more transparent, Resha kisses me and then looked me in the eye.

"Our children were prosperous, Sajak has seven pups and one of the boys is named after you, Dahvie has three pups, and Saha is the mother to four healthy and beautiful pups. I have knew that you were protecting us, a couple years back I saw a monster coming towards our cubs and saw a man dressed in white and black  come from nowhere and set the monster on fire before killing it. I knew that was you, that you would move heaven and earth to protect your family." Resha said to me, I was speechless as there was a loud whistle which meant that the souls were about to be moved on.

"I want you to know Resha before you move on, that I love you and some day I will be in paradise with you. " I said to Resha as her body disappeared, before she was totally gone she moved the words 'I love you'.
