So I free handed my own synth, adding some tweeks to his design cause I want to make him my own, but still have a mostly factory standard look. Once installed, he needed to take a moment to plug in to download the firmware and software updates for the new hardware. And the easiest way to do that without any lost packets is to plug in physically. So that he did. getting a comfy spot and letting the updates take effect.
