She resides in a natural cave dwelling on a somewhat low mountain that’s part of a set of old and weather worn hills swallowed by a forest. Named so for the fiery orange maple like tree species that dominates the forest. She once used to work as a guardian of sorts for a nearby town where she met a drake, but after his somewhat tragic death she secluded herself to nearby wilderness where she brought up her clutch of two whom departed south in later years, their father being a scaled dragons unlike mother they weren’t quite as particular to cold, though they still occasionally keep in touch, their relationship pretty good. She still has a few friends who helped her in time of need as well as a nearby hunter who she sometimes trades salted meats with, which is a bit of a taste for from when she lived near the town. Keeps a few bee hives of her own near her cave for the honey. Omnivore, she’s a fairly prolific hunter as well as herbalist, knows most of the edible plants and roots around the parts, keeps a stock in her cave for a long winter and to trade with. Since her offspring left a while ago she ended up adopting a reindeer fawn that keeps her company, munching on her rootstock occasionally to her dismay. Her paws are somewhat bear like and she is able to haul and hold things, however their dexterity is limited. While she has gotten over her loss, she is still bitter of those who would look down on intelligent quadruplets and easily angered over it. She is a little neophobic, even though she has some tools and a stove in her cave, as it’s unconsciously associated with the people of town. Uneasy around fire, but has learned to deal with it.
-She’s fairly large and thickly built, which the thick fur coat only adds on to the extent she could wrestle down a bear, she likely did at some point.
-Wingless, she’s very adept at climbing and digging, not quite a sprinter but can definitely outrun a human.
-Reclusive and somewhat gruff about people wondering into her territory, respects distance unless there’s a reason to cross it. She is however fairly motherly and kind when it comes to it, and will help stranded creatures or people out while grumbling about it.
-Keeps somewhat updated about outside world from local hunter, she has warm professional relationship with, but has no deeper interest.
-Can read the common language, but her paws are not dexterous enough to write other than with a digit into sand.
