Her arms were held rigidly in her lap, her ears flattened sadly behind her head, and a slight twitching foot trying to thump the air, showed how stressed and nervous she was about the upcoming talk she planned to have with Nick. In the background there was the fairly muffled sound of music coming from her neighbors Pronk and Bucky in the room next to hers.\n \nAfter the exciting events of the past couple of days since the whole Night Howler Case began things were starting to quieten down again. But not between Nick and herself. In fact their unexpected friendship and camaraderie was starting to blossom into something more, something wonderful and possibly life changing for the both of them.\n\nHowever there was something that Judy wanted to get off her chest that could completely change how they both saw each other, but not as one would expect, and depending on an outsiders perspective, something either very erotic or very dumb and outright suicidal.\n\nHer thoughts about how she would broach the subject in the first place, let alone his reaction to it, were like a butterfly caught in a whirlwind, flitting first from painful and horrifying thoughts of disgust and rejection, to elation and relief as she would finally get what she wished for, and so much more besides. \n\nShe was almost paralysed by her nervousness and fear, yet she felt a small kindling flame build up inside of her as she imagined the eventual outcome of the latter train of thought. It was late one Saturday afternoon, and Judy Hopps sat anxiously on her small bed in her apartment waiting for Nick to arrive after an anxious day off work spent worrying and fretting, the late day sun still filtering brightly through the closed curtains. Her arms were held rigidly in her lap, her ears flattened sadly behind her head, and a slight twitching foot trying to thump the air, showed how stressed and nervous she was about the upcoming talk she planned to have with Nick. In the background there was the fairly muffled sound of music coming from her neighbors Pronk and Bucky in the room next to hers.
 
After the exciting events of the past couple of days since the whole Night Howler Case began things were starting to quieten down again. But not between Nick and herself. In fact their unexpected friendship and camaraderie was starting to blossom into something more, something wonderful and possibly life changing for the both of them.

However there was something that Judy wanted to get off her chest that could completely change how they both saw each other, but not as one would expect, and depending on an outsiders perspective, something either very erotic or very dumb and outright suicidal.

Her thoughts about how she would broach the subject in the first place, let alone his reaction to it, were like a butterfly caught in a whirlwind, flitting first from painful and horrifying thoughts of disgust and rejection, to elation and relief as she would finally get what she wished for, and so much more besides.

She was almost paralysed by her nervousness and fear, yet she felt a small kindling flame build up inside of her as she imagined the eventual outcome of the latter train of thought. But as exciting as those thoughts were, they were moot now as she finally heard footsteps approaching her door. Nick had finally arrived.

“Hey Carrots!”, Nick said as Judy opened the door for him the moment he made his first knock.

“H-hey Nick, welcome to my humble abode”, Judy ushering him into the room she called home.
 
“Wow, this room is tiny, not sure I could live here for long without feeling like the walls were closing in on me”, he said as he gave the place a cursory once over with his eyes, the con artist mentality in him likely saying he could do better than this.
